A Black U.S. Service Agent sues two U.S. Park Police Officers who detained illegally.

U.S. Secret Service Officer Nathaniel Hicks was stopped on duty in July 2015 by the U.S. Park Service Police. Hicks, who is Black, filed a lawsuit claiming he was unlawfully detained by the two white officers.
His lawsuit says it appears the officers singled him out because of his race.
U.S. District Judge Paul Grimm, a Barack Obama appointed judge ruled on Monday that a jury can decide whether Gerald Ferreyra and Brian Phillips violated Hicks' constitutional right to be free from an unreasonable seizure.
Hicks said he did nothing wrong when he was approached by the two U.S. Park Police officers in July 2015. He told the officers that he was a Secret Service agent and he was waiting to accompany a cabinet secretary's motorcade.
"I said, 'Whoa, whoa!' I'm a Secret Service special agent," Hicks said in the lawsuit.
The U.S. Park Police supervisor told Hicks that he was free to go between 40 and 60 minutes after Ferreyra first detained him.
Trump trips to his private residences cost the U.S. Secret Service millions.
Ferreyra pointed his firearm at Hicks.
Hicks claimed that Ferreyra and Phillips both yelled at him, talked to him in a degrading manner, and wouldn't let him leave even after he showed his Secret Service credentials.
He was assigned as an agent to protect then-Homeland Secretary Jeh Johnson.
Hicks is a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Secret Service.
The judge ruled the defendant may be held liable for the second stop, as well. Hicks' suit seeks an unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
Even if you're an African American member of law enforcement, you're just treated like a criminal. Black law enforcement officers know that the "blue wall of silence" is "no snitching."

Former pollster turned White House Adviser Kellyanne Conway is under fire. Federal officials had enough of her utter stupidity. They warned her many times to stop. She ignored them and now she's at verge of being fired out the cannon.
A federal agency is recommending that the White House removes her from federal service. She said that she's violated the Hatch Act on numerous occasions.
The U.S. Office of Special Counsel said that Conway continuously "disparages Democratic candidates while speaking in her official capacity during television interviews and on social media."
Special counsel Henry Kerner wrote in a letter to Donald J. Trump on Thursday that his office's investigative report found that Conway was a "repeat offender" of the Hatch Act.

"Ms. Conway's violations, if left unpunished, would send a message to all federal employees that they need not abide by the Hatch Act's restrictions. Her actions thus erode the principal foundation of our democratic system -- the rule of law. Never has the U.S. Office of Special Counsel had to issue mulitple reports to [Donald J. Trump] concerning Hatch Act violations by the same individual."
Trump so far shrugged the notion and has so far supported Conway.
White House officials aren't above the law. It seems like it's not just Conway. But also social media director Dan Scavino and former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, Melania Trump's spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham and at least another half dozen Trump White House staffers who committed violations under the Hatch Act.
Conway is truly a moron at heart. She's a failed comedian who became a political huckster.
She supported Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) during his ill-fated presidential run. She was applaud by Trump at first. But when Trump got rid of convicted felon Paul Manafort, he hired her as his campaign manager and former Breitbart chief Steve Bannon (an avowed white extremist) chief strategist.

In an interview with George Stephanopoulos, Donald J. Trump, America's oldest and most dumbest leader of the free world, the imbecile said he wouldn't mind if foreign influence meddled in the 2020 election if it helped him win reelection.
ABC News had access to the imbecile. Stephanopoulos questioned the possibility of foreign governments such as Russia and China putting a thumb on the scale for a candidate.
Trump basically dismissed the notion and said that he welcomed the information.

Trump presented a hypothetical situation in which “somebody comes up and says, ‘Hey, I have information on your opponent.’ Do you call the FBI?” The president went on to say, “I don’t think in my whole life I’ve ever called the FBI” and, “Give me a break. Life doesn’t work that way.”
When Stephanopoulos challenged Trump, saying that the FBI director believes a person presented with potentially stolen information should call the agency, the president responded, “The FBI director is wrong.”

I have family in Memphis. They're on my mother's side and they are aware of the problems plaguing Tennessee's largest city. The city has a population of 656,000 residents and has a 64% African American population. The mayor is white. The U.S. Representative is white. A handful of state legislature members are Black and white. The city sits on the Mississippi River and is part of a tri-state region. Arkansas and Mississippi are the states that surround Memphis. The city is a halfway point between Nashville, Birmingham, St. Louis, Jackson and Little Rock.
The junk food media often call violent protests by Black people as riots. Whenever white people are violent after winning (or losing) sporting events, the junk food media calls it stupid (and out of control) silliness.
They often claim the police aren't doing anything to stop unrest. They often say Black leaders will never speak out about violence in the urban centers. It's ridiculous that Black people are told to calm themselves whereas white folks are killing people in mass shootings or causing unrest and no one is telling them to calm themselves.

There was unrest in the city of Memphis, Tennessee where cops shot an unarmed man. The junk food media will gladly report that the man had outstanding felony warrants and they saw a weapon was on him. Hell, it's open carry in Tennessee. I guess if a Black man is armed with a firearm in "open carry" in Tennessee, he deserved his fate regardless.
How many white men got away with shooting a killing police officers without being killed?
When there's unrest in the Black community, the junk food media calls it rioting. When white folks cause unrest, it's called unruliness.
Well let's go to California where a sheriff's deputy was shot at point blank range in the head by a Utah man who was considered a risk to his life and others. He was caught without a bullet fired. The deputy was killed. More on that later.
The unrest was sparked by a police killing of 20 year old Brandon Webber.
His girlfriend and mother of his child was pregnant with the second. The trauma led to her going into labor and the stress is getting to the family.
Brandon was a good guy. He was a good father.
The U.S. Marshals and Memphis Police shot and killed Webber outside his family's home.
Webber was shot and killed by officers on Wednesday as they tried to arrest him for outstanding warrants outside his home in the North Memphis neighborhood of Frayser.
Webber leaves behind a two year old son and a newborn daughter. His girlfriend Alorea Hardwick went into labor after this. The junk food media haven't reported on the status of mother or the child.
On social media, the grieving girlfriend sobs as she is going into labor knowing that Brandon will never get that moment of fatherhood and her children will grow up never knowing their father.
Webber had a minor history of non violent crimes. Some were for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
Shortly before he was shot, he posted on social media that he was sitting in a car, rapping and smoking a blunt. In the video, he noticed police and he laughed and said they would "have to kill me" before the video went dark. The video was removed from social media. However, it may still exist.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations said the officers went to the home to arrest him on outstanding warrants. They said that Webber got into a vehicle and tried to flee. They said that he exited with a weapon. Marshals opened fire on him and killing him instantly.
Jaleta Webber said to the junk food media to not tarnish her son's reputation. He was a caring father and had a future. He enrolled in the University of Memphis and had clearly knew his rights given the most recent police shootings of unarmed Black people.
Webber believes that he wasn't a gang banger or a thug. He wanted to get his life together and marry his girlfriend. Yeah, he smoked a few blunts, but it wasn't like he robbed a bank or killed anyone.
As the police were taping off the scene, a group of individuals came through and confronted the Marshals and police. They were angry that the cops killed another Black person.
This was simmering for a while.
They got lit. They decided to react to the killing in fashion.
Cops were pelted with rocks, bricks, bottles, and glass.
Two dozen officers and two journalists were injured during the confrontation. Six officers were taking to the hospital for minor injuries.
Officers decided to cordoned the neighborhood. They threw tear-gas and pepper grenades at the people who were throwing objects.
The Shelby County boys and the city police signaled a '99. The county boys decided break up noise.
Anyway, Gov. Bill Lee, Donald J. Trump, Mike Pence, Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN), Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), the nine U.S. Representatives, Mayor Jim Strickland and local officials are notified and demand immediately calm.
Those involved in violence will likely be arrested for disturbing the peace and physical assault on a police officer. These charges could put the individuals in the iron college for up to ten years.
Those involved are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The cops and U.S. Marshals involved are in the freezer pending an investigation to whether deadly force was justified.
Yeah, the junk food media will by more sympathetic towards the cops. They will say that he had a weapon. They will say he has a criminal history. They will do everything in their power to paint Brandon as the bad guy and the cops as the good guys.
If there's more unrest, expect the national agitators to throw their two cents in it.
Expect Anderson Cooper, Chris Hayes and others to make a trip to Memphis. Expect Sean "Softball" Hannity to have someone like Lawrence Jones go to Memphis to rile up folks with his coonery.

A 10-year old American boy was detained by Utah police at gunpoint.
Salt Lake City boy was approached by the law at gunpoint. The cops mistaken a 10-year old boy as a grown ass man. The boy has special needs and his adoptive mother is angry. She wants the Woods Cross Police to do an investigation into the actions of its officers.
DJ Hrubes was playing outside his grandmother's yard when a Woods Cross Police officer pulled a gun on him. His mother Jerri claimed at a news conference that her son was playing in the lawn of his grandmother when this cop told him to put his hands in the air and he told DJ to get on the ground.
DJ, is a Black boy who has mild autism wasn't even aware of what cops were doing at the time.
Jerri said that she raced outside her mother's house and screamed at the officer.
"What are you doing? This is a 10-year old child!"
The cop ignored her concerns and decided to get into his vehicle and left. He would later return to apologize.
The Woods Cross Police immediately went into damage control blaming the situation on an active situation where they had bad knowledge. They claimed that the 10-year old boy matched the description of two armed suspects.
The spokesman for the agency, Lt. Adam Osoro said that the officer pulled out his gun after the child ran to the side of the house. After getting closer, the officer realized he got the wrong individual and left.
Osoro said the cop acted "appropriately."
Jerri Hrubes and DJ were clearly upset over encounter.
The incident happened when police were called to a disturbance of a reckless driver possibly shooting a firearm at other cars. Officers located the vehicle and initiated a high speed chase and the two individuals would exit the vehicle and flee.
One of the suspect was caught.
Jerri Hrubes said that the officers came back the next day to apologize and DJ did give them a hug.
However, she wants the cops to do a review on the actions. She doesn't want the cop fired but she does want accountability. She is considering legal actions in the matter.
"As a white mother to a black son, I don't feel safe in West Bountiful anymore," Hrubes said. "That changed after yesterday. I do not feel that he is safe. He has not left my sight. It just doens't feel like it used to."
She later added, "I support all police officers. I see good in them. But, I do not supporting putting a child of 10 years old at gunpoint with no explanation.... Does he look like he's 30? Does he look like he's 18, no?
Cuba Gooding, Jr. found himself in a legal matter again.
Disgraced entertainer Cuba Gooding, Jr. is expected to surrender to the New York Police Department sometime today. The 51-year old entertainer was in Manhattan on Sunday. He was there with friends and was singing for the crowd.
The victim said that a drunken Gooding groped her breast without her consent.
She called 911.
The NYPD Special Victims Division will be investigating the criminal act and they will file charges against him.
He was in California planning his legal defense. He will be issued a warrant on the incident.
Gooding and his publicist had no comment on this.
These charges are serious. He could face felonious assault and sexual battery. The charges could put him in the iron college for up to three years. He would have to be enrolled in Offender U under TIER I or II status.

Progressive agitator sues white extremist who ran a slander campaign.
Comedian and progressive talker Dean Obeidallah successfully sued a far-white troll who has created a website that caters to white extremism. The troll who has ties to Columbus, Ohio may now have to get his parents to shelve out a hefty sum of funds.
Dean Obeidallah is on SiriusXM Progress and hosts a nightly show that talks about issues from the prospective of a Muslim American. He also is part of the Sexy Liberal Podcast Network, founded by comedians and activists Stephanie Miller and Chris Lavoie.
A federal judge ruled that this troll had to pay $4.1 million in monetary damages.
The troll accused the comedian of being a terrorist and ran a "dox" campaign against him.
The troll has been sued by a Montana woman who was getting death threats after he "dox" her business and personal home number. The woman who ended a contract with Richard Spencer, a far-white extremist who wanted to set up shop there.
Private investigators are searching Columbus, Tampa, Houston and Los Angeles for this troll.
The troll claims he is somewhere in the darkest reaches of Africa. He said that his life is in danger if he ever had to return to the United States.
The troll claimed on his website that Obeidallah was the mastermind behind a bombing at a concert in England. The concert where Ariana Grande performed.
Edmund Sargus, Jr., a Bill Clinton appointed judge agreed to enter a default judgement against the troll and his company because he failed to show up to court. His whereabouts were unknown.
His father Greg had to come to the court under the threat of being held in the county lockup.
The court could seize his website and they could end up shutting it down. The troll keeps switching up domains because companies are severing ties with it.
Americans are dying in popular tourist destination. The Caribbean country of the Dominican Republic has been under scrutiny for the deaths of a dozen American tourists. Former MLB player David Ortiz was also shot there.

David Ortiz, known as Big Papi is being treated for a gunshot to his lower back after he was shot at a bar in the Dominican Republic. The former Boston Red Sox star was in his hometown when he got shot by some terrorist.
Ortiz, 43, left the hospital, the Clinica Abel Gonzalez, in an ambulance Monday. Ortiz will be taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, Kennedy said.
Ortiz was shot in the back Sunday night and "the bullet went through his stomach," Felix Durán Mejia, a spokesman for the national police, told CNN. Kennedy said Ortiz's condition is serious, but he's stable enough to be flown.
Police said Ortiz was shot at a nightclub in his native Santo Domingo. He remains in intensive care after being treated for bleeding in his liver and having portions of his intestines and gall bladder removed, said Leo Lopez, Ortiz's media assistant.
The suspect is being held on robbery and aggravated assault charges. He will face a trial soon. The person is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
He is the latest of a handful of tourists who been either got ill while staying at a resort or robbed while visiting the country.

CBS News reported that handful of Americans have gotten sick and died while vacationing in the Dominican Republic.
Americans with plans to visit the Dominican Republic are reconsidering their vacations. The deaths include a California man, Robert Wallace, whose family told Fox News he became critically ill in April at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino resort in Punta Cana. They decided to come forward after learning of others recently who died in similar circumstances while vacationing on the island.
Wallace's family says he was in the Dominican Republic for his stepson's wedding. He quickly became sick and died after drinking a scotch from the minibar at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Nearly two months later, his family still doesn't have answers.
We now know of at least five other Americans who have died in the Dominican Republic in the last year -- most recently, Miranda Schaup-Werner and a couple from Maryland, Edward Holmes and Cynthia Day. All three died at Bahia Principe hotels. Preliminary autopsies released by Dominican authorities say they all had fluid in their lungs and respiratory failure. Toxicology reports have not yet been released.
Felecia Nieves' sister Yvette Monique Sport also died at a Bahia Principe resort. She says last year, Monique had a drink at the minibar inside her hotel room, went to bed and never woke up.
"There is something … something dirty at the bottom of all of this," Nieves said. "She was 51 years of age, relatively healthy, no reason for her to go on vacation and just die so suddenly."
CBS News found several other people on social media who claimed they also recently canceled their trips. Bahia Principe says none of the deaths at its resorts was connected, and Miranda Schaup-Werner died of a heart attack. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino said it is confident all operational protocols were followed.
News of this latest death in the Dominican Republic came just after former Red Sox star David Ortiz was gunned down in his hometown of Santo Domingo.
The country's attorney general told local media after the shooting of Ortiz that the Dominican Republic is "secure, but definitely has many challenges." The tourism minister basically says the deaths are just coincidences.
On its travel advisory alerts, the U.S. State Department rates the Dominican Republic a level two out of four – urging visitors to "exercise increased caution."
CBS News has confirmed that investigators in the Dominican Republic are relying on FBI labs to examine the toxicology results for the three people who died in May. Multiple sources now confirm that the results are being tested in the FBI's Quantico Virginia labs. So far, sources tell CBS News, FBI assistance has been limited to examining the toxicology results.
Trump is going to eventually place the Dominican Republic on a list of countries that could be barred from travel. He has implicated travel restrictions to Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, Somalia, Chad, Yemen and Myanmar (Burma).

A California woman films the Hawthorne Police attempt to arrest a young Black man at a corner.
About a dozen or so cops come out of their vehicles with firearms drawn. The young Black man is extremely nervous and the woman filming is screaming that this was unnecessary.
She even noted that her boyfriend was a victim of police violence. She filmed the five minute video on Instagram and it went viral.
Again, you have a right to film the police. They cannot arrest you if you're filming them doing their jobs. We pay their salaries and we deserve accountability. If this woman wasn't around, this young Black man would be another hashtag. The cops will lie saying that he was reaching for something and they feared for their lives.
Given that a dozen cops with guns drawn isn't scary itself.
You fearing that you could be shot and killed at a moment's notice.
The woman, who posted the video on her Blueasdasky account on Instagram, told officers that her boyfriend had been shot and killed by police in 2015 but did not know the man who was kneeling with his hands up at a busy intersection, reported Heavy.
"I don't even know him but I care that much," the woman said, crying.
Hawthorne police told the woman the man was not a suspect but was "being detained."
"We got a call about a robbery," the officer told her. "He seemed to match the description … we're just detaining him. We're not saying he's a suspect … try to relax. It says a weapon was involved that's the only reason he gets held at gunpoint. It's just for our safety and everybody around's safety, okay?"
Officers handcuffed and searched the man during the two-minute video, but it’s not clear whether he was arrested or charged with any crime.
Hawthorne is a city in Los Angeles County and it has a population of 115,000 residents.
