She was not suicidal. She was emboldened to bring attention to Trump's hateful agenda. Today, I am Therese Patricia Okoumou.
The world watched a woman climb upon The Statue of Liberty to denounce Donald J. Trump and his allies of the right.
Therese Patricia Okoumou became an icon yesterday.
Okoumou calmly sat on the edge of the famous statue and waited. She peaceful protested the Trump policies of separating children from immigrants crossing the border illegally. She protested the Muslim ban upheld by the Supreme Court. She protested police brutality. She protested the treatment of people of color by this government and society in general. She also called for the U.S. government to end the Immigration Customs Enforcement agency.
White conservatives were screaming that Okoumou wasted resources and put the police lives in danger. They often complain that peaceful protesters are more of a threat than a mass shooter shooting up a school. They offer thoughts and prayers than laws.
Her protest has repercussions. She will be heading to federal court on charges.
Okoumou is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The Devil would like to see you. Lucifer returns to Netflix.
Vertigo Comics and Warner Bros Television announced that season four of the crime drama Lucifer will go to Netflix.
The series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the Devil, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub and becomes a consultant to the LAPD. The ensemble and supporting cast include Lauren German as Detective Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro as Detective Daniel "Dan" Espinoza, D. B. Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen and Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin.
The series received initially mixed reviews from critics during its first season, though the second and third seasons drew more favorable acclaim.
Praise was directed at Ellis' performance and the series' style of humor. Despite initially high viewership for its debut, ratings remained consistently low throughout the series' run on Fox. On May 11, 2018, Fox canceled Lucifer after three seasons. A month later, Netflix picked up the series for a fourth season of ten episodes.
I was waiting until July to do my massacre of television posting.
I was venting off about Fox canceling the show. The third season left you in a cliffhanger and many were upset that Fox made that controversial move.
Tom Ellis, Lauren German, D.B. Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Aimee Garcia, Kevin Alejendro, Tricia Helfer and Rachael Harris praised the move and hope that they will bring their best to the series once filming begins.
Fox cancelled the show to make room for NFL Monday Night.
The Walt Disney Company and Comcast are in a bidding war for 21st Century Fox and Fox Television Network.
In a few days, I will do the Massacre of Television. I will keep you posted on what happens next.
Disturbing moment when bus rider charges at a Black man filming her going off about people of color.
In Donald J. Trump's America, a white person can word vomit a set of racial slurs and xenophobia at people of color minding their business. There are a few videos posted on social media showing a woman berated passengers on a bus. Allegedly the woman was upset over someone speaking in another language and all hell went loose.
She was seen berating the guy filming. She even assaulted him. The bus driver did stop the bus and forced her off. Matter of fact, the police were called and she was booked into the county lockup.
A female riding on a bus was later taken into custody and held on disorderly conduct. The battery charge could also happen as well. We don't know her name as of yet, but trust me, a good detective will find out where she works, where she stays and who she supports.
Obviously it had to be Donald J. Trump, because immigrants and people of color are being attacked by this imbecile and his cronies running all levels of government. It's pathetic that Trump bitches and bemoans about the attacks on him.
He is supposed to be the President of the United States. He is supposed to ignore the noise.
It's a shame that a carnival barker leads our nation. If we had a Republican with sense, we wouldn't be divided like this.
Oh, today is Independence Day. I am wondering if you're ready to go to war against the right.
Alex Jones declared that Democrats and progressives are mounting an armed revolution.
So could this be the end of the country as we know it?
We'll see.
Here's a bonus, Don Lemon talks about a white woman who berates landscapers because they're Mexican. Estefan Guzeman was doing his job when this white woman comes up bitching about him speaking in Spanish. She said that he is a rapist and drug dealer. She said he should go back to Mexico.
Ohio Republican Jim Jordan of the Freedom Caucus is embroiled in a big scandal.
This is huge. The do nothing Freedom Caucus could implode because of a lawmaker's past coming back to haunt him.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is facing a sex scandal. As an assistant coach to men's wrestling, he was accused of covering up a doctor's sexual abuse.
"It’s not true," Jordan said. "I never knew about any type of abuse. If I did, I would have done something about it. And look, if there are people who are abused, then that’s terrible and we want justice to happen."
In the NBC report, three former wrestlers who trained under Jordan — including two who were named in the story — accused Jordan of ignoring sexual abuse. They argued that it was common knowledge that the college physician, Richard Strauss, would regularly shower with the students and touch them inappropriately during examinations.
Strauss went out like a punk when the feds were investigating him. Now accountability and the truth.
Some say that Jordan shrugged it off.
Two men came forth. Dunyasha Yetts and Mike DiSabato claimed the allegations. They said both said that the molestation ruined their lives.
Jordan, the founder of the do nothing House Freedom Caucus and potential frontrunner for House leadership was taken aback by the allegations.
Jordan said he would have done something if the wrestlers complained. They did and he did nothing.
The Ohio Republican Party is nervous. They hope this scandal doesn't sink their chances from holding control. Jordan is staunch supporter of Donald J. Trump and has been adamant about pushing forth kookspiracies about the FBI and Hillary Clinton.
Jordan believe that it was a political hit job. The usual song and dance from defenders of conservatives. Jordan and Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) are considered the least productive and most polarizing members of the Republican majority.
They going to blame Rod Rosenstein, Lisa Page and Peter Strzok for Jordan being caught up in scandal. Matter of fact, they are going to blame the Democrats and the junk food media as well.
They often find scapegoats whenever a scandal engulfs the Republican Party.
Molly Ephraim (left), Kaitlyn Dever (center) and Flynn Morrison (right) are not returning to revived sitcom, Last Man Standing. Tim Allen, Nancy Travis and Amanda Fuller will return.
In the wake of Roseanne Barr's remarks, the Fox network puts on a Trump supporting actor who lost his sitcom on ABC due to his controversial off screen antics. They decided to give his sitcom one more season. And it's already controversy brewing.
The Tim Allen sitcom already struggling.
When Amanda Fuller joined Last Man Standing in the second season, fans loved it. She replaced Alexandra Krosney after the first season of the sitcom.
It was the usual quickly recast. It would be the replacement of a character fans never liked.
The characters on Last Man Standing were like a true TV family. I am not sure if fans will support the recasting of two characters.
Molly Ephraim and Flynn Morrison are not returning to the sitcom. Kaitlyn Dever is signalling a recurring role. After ABC abruptly cancelled the sitcom, Fox decided to pick it up for its next season. It seems six seasons is enough for Dever and Ephraim.
Fox signed on Tim Allen, Nancy Travis, Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders, Hector Elizondo, Jordan Masterson and Jonathan Adams to reprise their roles.
Who will replace Molly Ephraim?
She was the breakout star of the sitcom.
A memorable episode with Molly Ephraim was her meeting Kim Kardashian West in season one. Also the video where Molly Ephraim, Kaitlyn Dever and Alexandra Krosney singing [My] Pie Rack.
Conservative outrage over Walmart selling t-shirts with the words "impeach 45" over it. The shirt is play on Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) relentless call to impeach that imbecile Donald J. Trump.
Conservatives want a boycott against the company.
Walmart.com sells these products online and it is done through third party.
Old Glory, the company that promoted the product.
It is noted that the website sells pro-Trump swag. It seems like reactionary outrage from some trolls and it won't stop them from shopping at Walmart.
They support capitalism. The definition of capitalism is "rich vs. poor."
Damn shame they won't boycott Walmart for driving out small businesses.
Damn shame they won't boycott Walmart for causing sprawl.
Damn shame they won't boycott Walmart for the unfair pay, unfair work hours, and numerous scandals that plague the company.
Howard Stern's prankster "Stuttering" John Melendez is under federal watch after he managed to clear a call to our dear imbecile, Donald J. Trump.
Stuttering John called the White House direct line and Jared Kushner was the one who officially picked up the line. Kushner cleared the line for Trump.
The comedian portrayed himself as Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), the embattled senator caught up in numerous scandals.
Trump offered empathy and said he felt his pain. Basically he said that he knows what it's like to be under federal investigation.
The fake senator was talking to Trump about his zero tolerance policies when it comes to family seperations..
Trump took a call from a prankster.
He asked about how he feels about Anthony Kennedy's pending retirement and his potential pick. Trump was hoping to court the red state Democrats to push his nominee through.
For at least ten minutes, Trump did not know he was being pranked.
It shows the ineptness of his staff. Jared Kushner just gotten security clearance. It shows that Trump has not taken his job seriously.
Prank Call to President Trump Shows Bigger Issues, Says 'Stuttering John' Melendez https://t.co/u4m2YxIiuR via @TMZ
Instead of wasting time on this, Mr. Trump should focus on the numerous other things that are of a greater priority. Let’s start with reuniting over 2,000 children with their parents immediately. #Basta#FightClubhttps://t.co/BGcDE4ChOk
— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) July 2, 2018
Stuttering John hired Michael Avenatti as his attorney. You may know that Avenatti is not playing any games here. He is representing Stormy Daniels, the whistleblower who uncovered the harsh treatment of immigrant children and now the comedian.
Avenatti hopes that Michael Cohen cracks and spill all the dirty dealings between Trump and his allies.
Trump's former fixer talks to George Stephanopoulos for ABC's This Week.
Michael Cohen, the former personal attorney to Donald J. Trump and Sean "Softball" Hannity did an exclusive interview with George Stephanopoulos. Stephanopoulos was teasing the interview with the embattled attorney.
Oh, boy.#MichaelCohen is cooperating with Mueller. No doubt about it now. Michael Cohen: “To be crystal clear, my wife, my daughter and my son, and this country have my first loyalty.” #MondayMotivationpic.twitter.com/LmZBDG1M9k
— Holly Figueroa O'Reilly 🌊 BWCS (@AynRandPaulRyan) July 2, 2018
Cohen is under federal watch for allegedly paying hush money to Stormy Daniels and arranging meetings between Russian operatives and members of Trump's campaign team.
Cohen who had his home, apartment, hotel room, and offices raided has a ton of information that could put a spotlight on his personal dealings with Trump.
Some of the highlights in this interview include his loyalty to Trump.
When asked by Stephanopoulos, Cohen quickly dismissed the loyalty. He said that he only pledges loyalty to his family and his country.
Asked about the raid. Cohen said the FBI was not a "dangerous phase" in America as explained by Softball Hannity.
Asked about Robert Mueller interviewing him, Cohen stayed silent on that.
The FBI nabbed phones, laptops, and documents. It's a trove of stuff.
It's going to be a big deal. Michael Avenatti, the current attorney for Stormy Daniels spoken on the interview.
If Mr. Cohen really gave an "off camera" interview to @GStephanopoulos (whom I respect) for @GMA, he is dumber than I thought. He is playing games & trying to play both sides. There is only one way he can have any legitimate shot at saving his reputation... #TickTock#Basta
— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) July 2, 2018
Avenatti had said Cohen will eventually crack. If they were to place Cohen in the federal time out for a lengthy bid, he would be spooked. Cohen hasn't snitched on Trump and Softball Hannity yet.
They better be afraid...... Cohen is flipping.
Robert Mueller is looking into Russian meddling. Over 20 people were indicted and some are working with the feds. This is not a witch hunt. This a criminal investigation where a foreign nation funneled resources to a desperate Republican candidate's campaign.
If Trump picks a Supreme Court nominee that could swing the decision in favor of conservatives, it assures the inept leader could skirt through an indictment.
The city of Los Angeles is where the King find his home.
Magic Johnson made some last hour talks to court King James.
It's official, LeBron James will officially join the Los Angeles Lakers. A major move that leaves the Cleveland Cavaliers once again without its king.
James who played for the Cavs these last four years only managed to give the team one NBA championship. The all time MVP said the decision helped his family.
He has children attending schools in Los Angeles. He owns a couple of homes and a production company.
James also leaves the city where he first played for during his first years as an NBA player.
LeBron going to turn the LA Lakers into champions.
James who was born in Akron quickly became a rising star while attending St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. He joined the Cleveland Cavaliers shortly after graduating from high school. He played for the Cavs from 2003 until 2010.
In 2010, he made the television appearance on ESPN which became the infamous decision. He said he would take his talents down to South Beach.
The decision to move to Miami to play for the Heat was controversial. Many in Cleveland thought it was betrayal and started hating on him.
It did not slow him down. He ended up giving Miami two national titles. He played for the Heat for the next four years before he went home to Cleveland.
He ended up returning to Cleveland for the next four years. During that time, he had struggled throughout the seasons. He was taking the team to the NBA Finals each year. But out of the four seasons, the Cavs struggled to beat the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors managed to beat the Cavs most of the time. Only one time the Cavs won and it was through a memorable Game 7 of their second bout.
Fans knew the decision was going to happen. This time, many weren't so outraged about the decision. The City of Cleveland thanked James and wished him well.
Los Angeles Lakers fans were excited and very welcoming to the king.
The mission is to turn the Lakers into a championship team.
The Lakers notable alum include Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain.
Boise was rocked by a terrorist who stabbed people.
Racial dog whistle - Open borders. Conservatives use this word vomit to paint immigration reform as "white genocide."
You notice the junk food media fails to hype up terrorism caused by white people. Every time there is an incident in the United States that involves a person of color who was attacked by white extremists, you won't hear Donald J. Trump, Fox News, The Drudge Report, InfoWars, Breitbart, Colin Flaherty and The Gateway Pundit will not hype this to epic levels.
If it was a Muslim, a Black man, a Latino, an undocumented immigrant, or a politically motivated activist, it's blown up.
Sean "Softball" Hannity faced a backlash after he accused Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) of being an instigator to the mass shooting in Maryland. His ridiculous rhetoric is the reason why accountability is definitely needed at Fox News.
Now should we blame Softball Hannity for an incident that happened in Idaho?
Idaho authorities detain a man who deliberately stabbed nine people at a Boise apartment complex. Four of the victims have life threatening injuries.
The chief of Boise Police, Bill Bones said a 30 year old man was held in connection to the stabbing.
They haven't released the name of this terrorist. They often wait until he appears in court. Nonetheless, I won't acknowledge the terrorist.
The terrorist was caught by Boise Police.
The victims who were immigrants and people trying to live in a safe environment.
Police discovered the terrorist within a few minutes. He is being held on multiple accounts of attempted murder and possibly a hate crime.
Even in Boise, crime happens. But could this be a crime inspired by Donald J. Trump and Softball Hannity? Trump called some migrants part of MS13, the transnational criminal gang organization.
Yesterday, there was a massive protest in regards to Trump's zero tolerance on border crossings by illegal immigrants. The protests were epic.
Maybe this could be a message to those who support removing children from family.
Canadian rapper was gunned down outside a Toronto bar.
The Toronto Metro Police are investigating the 21 year old rappers death outside the Club Cube, Saturday.
A Black SUV came through the Entertainment District and done a drive by. Witnesses report that vehicle immediately fired upon him after he exited the club.
Drake pays tribute to slain rapper.
Smoke Dawg was a part of the Halal Gang. He was of Trinidad, Jamaican and Somali roots.
The rapper was associated with hitmaker Murda Beatz.
Murda Beatz is a Canadian rap producer who produced hits for French Montana, Drake, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Migos and Preme.
Tessa Thompson (right) came out bisexual and is dating Jonelle Monae.
American actress Tessa Thompson comes out bisexual. The actress also reveals her love for R&B singer/actress Janelle Monae (who came out pansexual as well).
The actress who appeared in Mississippi Damned, Thor: Ragnorak, Selma, Creed and Little Woods said this to the junk food media.
"In my family you can be anything you want to be. I’m attracted to men and also to women. If I bring a woman home, or a man, we don’t even have to have the discussion."
The actress made history by being a high profile celebrity coming out to her supporters.
Sometimes we cheer so loudly at someone speaking their truth, that we miss what they say. (Here’s looking at you media journalism). I didn’t say I was in a relationship. But I said lots of other things. All below. One thing I missed — Pride Has No End. x https://t.co/yEd0Ep6K17
LGBTQ Pride celebrates love and unity. The 2015 Supreme Court ruling Obergefell v. Ohio decision was monumental. It legalized marriage in the United States. Heterosexual and homosexual couples can legally marry without any state imposed sanctions.
It was a historical moment.
All of this can change with a new Supreme Court nominee. Donald J. Trump claimed to be an ally of the LGBTQ community. Turns out it was bullshit.
Their lives will be changed when the next court decision that comes down rules against marriage equality.
That means a 5-4 decision could effect 30 million same sex marriages.
I wish Tessa Thompson and Janelle Monae all the best on their relationship.
