Why Would You Fly The Flag Of A Losing Side?

Fire: Protesters in South Carolina have begun burning Confederate flags (above) in response to the state's refusal to remove the flag from the capitol
Black activists light up the Confederate flag. This will rile up extremists.

The South Carolina governor Nikki Haley is a prominent Republican lawmaker. She is one of the youngest and most attractive women to hold office. A woman of great prominence is dealing with a controversy.

In the wake of a mass shooting at a historically Black church in Charleston, Haley must decide on taking measures to ensure her residents that she's got everything under control.
Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) and Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) are the only two Black lawmakers representing South Carolina.
For a woman of color, it should be a no brainer. She should acknowledge that a portion of her state's residents have some extremists views.

As you know many White southerners fly the Confederate flag as a homage to those who fought in the Civil War. They may think of it as heritage, I look at the flag as a disgrace to America. Why on earth would anyone fly the flag of the losing team?

In downtown Charleston, protesters deface statues dedicated to the Confederate soldiers.

The Charleston Post and Courier reports police dispatchers were tipped off to the vandalism around late this afternoon.

Another message, “This is the problem #racist,” also was spray-painted on “To the Confederate Defenders of Charleston — Fort Sumter.”

The damage was reported to police dispatchers just after 12:30 p.m. The statue was covered up by residents who wrapped a large tarp around it about 1:30 p.m.

Two signs were placed on the tarp after the graffiti was covered up. One said, “All lives matter #charlestonunited,” and the other said, “Take down racist statues.”

The incident occurred in the wake of the fatal shooting Wednesday of nine black people inside Emanuel AME Church in what police say was an attack by a white supremacist. The church held its first service since the shootings on Sunday.

The attack has led to a nationwide call for South Carolina to remove the Confederate battle flag from the Statehouse grounds. At least 1,000 people gathered Saturday in Columbia to call for the flag to be taken down. Numerous petitions also call for the flag’s removal.

The statue caused a stir downtown Sunday as several individuals began arguing about the battle flag. Zachary Gaither of Charleston helped cover the graffiti on the statue and said he did not associate the flag with racism.
South Carolina is facing heat over its embracing of the Confederacy.

“I was covering up something that was demoting our city,” he said of the graffiti, adding, “the Confederate flag is a Southern heritage of pride to me.”

Tighe Berry, who is from out of town but wouldn’t say where, argued for the graffiti to be left up.

“That was a disgusting war that was to separate this country to keep an institution of hatred, racism and violence and slavery,” he said.

Madea Benjamin of Washington, D.C., put up the sign encouraging the statue to be taken down.

“It’s important for this state to say we don’t support white supremacy, we don’t promote pro-hatred groups or symbols,” she said.

The Confederate flag is sort of like the Swastika flag. It's symbolically a historical failure.

Already the agitators are outraged at DeRay McKesson.

McKesson has been effective in his protests and they hate him like they hate Rev. Perm. He promise more protests in the wake of the shooting.

Ever since McKesson appeared on that network that may have inspired that racist shooter to kill those nine innocent lives, he's been a target of conservative ire. McKesson plans on making an appearance in Charleston.

The pot called the kettle black. Here's a concern troll on the social media who claims that President Barack Obama and Rev. Perm should stay away.

Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) and Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) are two elected members of Congress. One is a Black Democrat and the other is a Black Republican.

They have both express sadness over this. But however, they both have a different view of the Confederate flag being flown at the state house in Columbia.

There's an active movement to have the flag formally removed from the state house.

Allegedly activists defaced the Confederate soldiers monument.

Do you believe that the Confederate flag is sign of heritage or a symbol of racism?

BREAKING: Duke Captures NCAA Championship!

The Duke Blue Devils beats the Wisconsin Badgers.

It looking like the NCAA Division 1 champions are the Duke Blue Devils. The men's basketball team managed to survive a hard fought game. They came from the the back to the front. They managed to overpower a strong Wisconsin Badger defense.

At first Wisconsin overpowered Duke. But in the end, Duke managed to secure a strong lead after the Badgers fouled one too many times. They were trailing by ten points before the final five minutes.

I mean this is another win for the Blue Devils. The fifth title for the ACC conference team.

They're partying in Durham tonight.
One extraordinary night.
The 2014–15 Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team represents Duke University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Returning as head coach is Hall of Famer Mike Krzyzewski. The team plays its home games at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, North Carolina as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

By beating Michigan State 81-61 in the Final Four in Indianapolis, the Blue Devils defeated Wisconsin, 68–63 for the championship, won the 5th NCAA championship titles

Congratulations to the Blue Devils and coach Mike Krzyzewski.

Wisconsin was handed another defeat. They lost the Big Ten Championship in football and now the NCAA title game in basketball.

Wondering if they're planning on rioting in the streets. After all, the junk food media will see a bunch of drunken college students and fans rioting as unrest and unruliness.

Will the junk food media call the fans of the Badgers or Blue Devils who may riot after the NCAA title game animals?

Marie Holmes: I Gotta Be Humble, My Kids Are The Winners!

Holmes said she originally bought five tickets for a total $15 before the lottery was announced. She later bought five more in homes of winning the jackpot
The winner of Powerball comes forward. She shows her ticket to the junk food media. Notice that most lottery experts believe that "quick picks" are the way to winning. The winning numbers are located on line D.

The record Powerball jackpot winner steps forwards to claim her share. She is actually putting her face out there to explain her struggles and the miracle of being a single mom and now a jackpot winner.

Marie Holmes of North Carolina was one of the three winners who claims the $567 million jackpot.

The 26 year old mother of four came forth to explain why she wanted to go public.

She along with winners from Texas and the autonomous territory of Puerto Rico share this. With taxes each would walk away with an estimated $130 million.

She had an opportunity to talk to the junk food media about the day she purchased that winning ticket.

Life is good for Marie Holmes.
If you look slightly towards the ticket. The lottery commissions will tell ya that "machine pick" tickets are the ones that you could find the jackpots in. Of course, you're playing against 176 million others who are willing to shelve up to $300 to play a $2 unit of Powerball or $1 unit of Mega Millions.

The Shallotte woman vows to not let the winnings "change her". She said that she will devote some of her earnings to a local church and give her family a vacation.

The Daily Mail reports that Marie used to work at McDonald's and Walmart before quitting to take care of her children.

Her four children, Brayden, Charisma, Andrea and Ebony, are aged from nine months to seven years old. Brayden is believed to suffer from cerebral palsy.

Holmes sacrificed her education to care for her four children and took minimum wage jobs to provide for her family.

With little or no help from the fathers of her four young children, she has struggled financially for most of her adult life.

Holmes has also seen her own father repeatedly jailed and her favorite cousin shot and left paralyzed after a home invasion.

Family members describe Holmes as a loving mother who always put her children first.

"Marie is very grounded and she will know what to do with all that money," said her uncle William Bryant.
Be careful, the Have-Nots will come.
"I'm sure she will want to buy a new home for herself and her kids, but I can't see any extravagant purchases. She's a nice girl who loves her family and loves her church."

In 2012, state officials who run Powerball and Mega Millions changed ticket prices and lowered the odds of winning jackpots in hopes the moves would increase the number of huge prizes and draw more players.

The new rules worked, causing jackpots to repeatedly climb to record levels. More than half of the top 10 U.S. jackpots have been reached in the past couple of years.

Be careful what you play. You are responsible for whatever unit comes out! Be clear in explaining what type of unit you requesting.

Powerball and Mega Millions are tickets that can not be canceled. You are responsible for whatever unit comes out. Your state lottery commission and the licensed retailer are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or altered tickets.

You have to be at least 18 years old to play these games.

Best advice for all who win the lottery, is keep a cool head.

The first thing you do is write your name down on the back of the winning ticket. Say if you lose the jackpot ticket! If you have forgotten to sign the ticket and it gets lost, then it's your word against the winner's.

Second, make sure you cancel out your Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or any other social networking website your on. That's the next thing that happens when you're a winner.

Third, you cancel your phone numbers and limit your email intake. Obviously you'll be swamped with phone numbers and well wishers asking if you're willing to shelve out a little cash. Trial lawyers, charity groups, the junk food media and scammers will take advantage of you. Some charity groups will not often bother you, but there are some that pose as legitimate but in reality a scam.

Fourth, hire a qualified lottery attorney. Make sure you have a qualified attorney who specializes in handling large sums of money. Don't assume every attorney is well respected in handling your financial earnings.

Fifth, don't quit a job until you are sure you've won the lottery. Don't rush to judgment about being a lottery winner. Sometimes a person who wins the lottery never expects it to happen so don't sit around the house hoping the day will come you'll be the millionaire. Don't burn bridges with your job. You may end up back at it if you decide to go back into the workforce.

Sixth, pay off debts to college loans, house, billings, and credit cards. Don't let these issues ruin your credit score or chances at buying better things. Do not share earnings with people who owe you money.

Seventh, invest your money in a trust fund if you have children or family members you can trust if you should die. Make a will or entrust. Make sure you know that you have a family member or a trusted friend who will take care of the winnings once you pass away.

Eighth, have fun with your earnings. Don't blow it on things that obviously will attract negative attention. Yeah, this is a gateway to putting in other venues. Some may blow their money at casinos, horsetracks, fantasy football and online poker. Granted that you are given the right to do whatever you want with your earnings, but seriously are going to get a gold stature of your image? Are willing to have five chefs, a butler, housekeeper, nanny, and chauffeur on the payroll? You going to buy a $100,000 vehicle! You want to own an island! Do you want your "friends" who often borrow money from you to handle your earnings?

Ninth, be humble. Cause money will change a person when they're rich. Don't expect your live to be "normal" when you win the lottery. Cause it's not going to be normal. It could a great experience or the worst thing.

Lastly, The Have-Nots Will Always Try To Make You Feel Guilty About Winning. Ignore Them And Be Happy About Your Success.

Blame Game: The Murder Of Three Young Muslims In North Carolina!

Three innocent lives were lost to gun violence. This cold blooded killer murder this family over issues with their religion. The racist right wants to label the suspect a "liberal" extremist.

This cold blooded killer is the person the media should focus on. Of course, the junk food media and the partisan agitators have to make note of the suspects "political affiliations" and the victims being Muslims.

A young couple and family member were gunned down by this ignorant bigot. This bigot is facing capital murder in the deaths of Yusor Abu-Salha, 21, and Razan Abu-Salha, 19, along with Yusor's husband, Deah Barakat, 23.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to Yusor, Razan and Deah. Their innocent lives were cut short by this Craig Stevens, a 46 year old nerd who had hatred for Muslims.

The agitators are figuring this is a hate crime. Obviously the junk food media has concluded that this dispute occurred over a parking spot.

Police received a report of gunfire shortly after 5pm yesterday in the Chapel Hill neighborhood of Finley Forest; all three victims died at the scene. In a statement today, CHPD reports "our preliminary investigation indicates that the crime was motivated by an ongoing neighbor dispute over parking."
Criminal act....
The Charlotte Observer notes that all three victims were Muslim, and speculation is rife on social media that it could have been a hate crime. The Independent notes a Facebook page in Hicks' name that shows him to be an apparent supporter for "Atheists for Equality" and a frequent poster of images that mock religion.

Barakat was a doctoral student in UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Dentistry. The sisters were N.C. State University students.

Barakat's wife, Yusor Abu-Salha, was scheduled to start dental studies at UNC in the fall; the two worked together to lobby for global public health and had just married on Dec. 27 (wedding photo here). Sister-in-law Razan was studying architecture at North Carolina State University. An "Our Three Winners" Facebook page dedicated to the family is up, with a poignant "About" section that says, "Deah Barakat, Yusor Abu-Salha and Razan Abu-Salha have returned to their Lord. They have set an example in life and in death."

The Cash Fever!

The Powerball is up again. The junk food media is going to drive the poor out to play!

Update: The estimated jackpot was $567 million and the winning tickets were sold in Texas, North Carolina and Puerto Rico. This is a first for the U.S. autonomous territory since joining Powerball in October 2014.

You got the fever?

What type of fever you might ask?

It's lottery fever!

The Powerball is up again, ahem! I mean its passed over a half a billion dollars and it can go up without notice. So are you game?

I stated this back in 2013. That the chances are 1:176 by odds. That means you are playing nearly a half of the U.S. population. You are one of 176 million others who are willing to shelve out.

With the huge jackpot such as this Powerball drawing, many Americans are dreaming of a life away from the job. A dream to take a vacation to a place they've always wanted to go.

The impact of being a millionaire comes with a price. You could blow money fast in a few years. Believe me there have been many Americans who lavish in luxury only to be broke in less than 10 years.

Of course, if you're the lucky one. You already know that many friends and family members will be on your case. You will be bothered by almost everyone in the junk food media.

Believe me I am a single man and I bet you my former friends, former girlfriends and family members I don't speak to will come out of the woodwork. They'll act like everything is cool and I am all giving!

Say if you're in the group pool. If you're in the pool and your group won, that one person who didn't play will try to sue the group for a portion of the earnings.

Hey, if you're a single person (not married), you'll be getting requests from suitors. Of course, if you're separated from your spouse or have children, expect the domestic family courts to take a lump out of your winnings.

The IRS and state taxes will be paid immediately upon the victory.

It may take up to a year before you collect the first lump sum of payment. Each winning Mega Millions and Powerball ticket carries a lump sum cash payment option.

The Powerball ticket cost $2 per unit. The Powerball ticket may include a PowerPlay multiplier and each unit cost $3 per unit. You can play up to 10 "lines", for up to 10 "draws" and up to 10 tickets.

In each game, players select five numbers from a set of 59 white balls and one number from 35 red Powerballs. The number chosen from the red Powerballs may be the same as one of the numbers chosen from the white balls. Players can select their own numbers and/or have the terminal randomly select the numbers (called "quick pick" or "easy pick" among other names, depending on the state). In each drawing, winning numbers are selected using two ball machines, one containing the white balls and the other containing the red Powerballs.

For the winning numbers, five balls (the white ball numbers) are drawn from the first machine and one (the Powerball number) from the second machine. Games matching at least three white balls and/or the red Powerball win.

Powerball is played in 44 states including the District of Columbia, the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.

Like always, you're expected to hear the junk food media talk about the "jackpot" being at record amounts and how they aim the cameras at shoppers purchasing. Each customer saying that if they win....they would change their lives.

Be careful what you play. You are responsible for whatever unit comes out! Be clear in explaining what type of unit you requesting.

Okay, let's go back to John Oliver and his take on the lottery.

Conservative Outrage Over Dems Get Out To Vote Strategy!

If you're willing to allow unfiltered ignorance to reign in Washington, DC, vote for the insurgent. But if you want common sense  politics, vote for North Carolina senator Kay Hagan, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate.

Conservatives are upset over the Democratic Senate Majority PAC using the "race card" to win.

Embattled Democratic senator Kay Hagan of North Carolina is relying on the advantages of early voting. Right now she's leading by 2 points in the polls and insurgent Thom Tillis is hoping to capitalize off the president's disappointing job approval in the state. Besides the president, the Tillis campaign got the biggest asshole on Loserville to help push out desperate votes.

That annoying conservative agitator was giving Tillis his last chance to get his racist right base out to vote. On the segment, that annoying agitator played clips of the Super Pac ad.

Then he went to bitching about Trayvon Martin, the "so-called" six to eight Black witness to back up Ferguson officer Darren Wilson, the shooter of unarmed Michael Brown and rehashing the old Southern Democrats.

He asked if Tillis was willing to condemn the ads. Of course Tillis was ready to respond to them.

Tillis would say that Barack Obama's policies aren't helpful to Black and the talk about what he may do if he wins the election. The usual promise everything but deliver nothing. Hagan done it too just to be fair.

Conservatives are so annoying. They really want Blacks, Hispanics and young voters to sit out these elections. Conservatives hope Republicans rally on their racist right base! With all the talk about  Black on White crime, illegal immigration, Ebola and ISIS, the Republicans are hoping to win the U.S. Senate on negativity.

They have no plan to bring jobs to Americans. They have no agenda to solve the economic gap between rich and poor. They want to cut the safety net. They just want to scream and yell! It's pathetic that when Democrats were in charge things were moving forward.

If it takes another thumping from Republicans to get the Democrats back to the minority, then so be it! The Democrats practically had the advantage. They managed to turnout a huge base. What went wrong?

And looking forward to Tuesday, the U.S. Senate chances are GOOD for Republicans. They have a 67% chance to take back the Senate.

And to make this clear, I am certainly not too thrill to have the inept opposition in power.

By the way, that annoying conservative agitator continues to ignore the Republicans playing the card.

If you haven't seen the Nebraska 2nd District House Race? It's not pretty. They pulled out the race card in this event. Not a peep from that annoying conservative agitator and Loserville.

The Tar Hills Have Eyes!

The battle in the Tar Hill state. Embattled Democratic politico Kay Hagan is taking on establishment nominee Thom Tillis, the North Carolina Speaker of the Statehouse.

The Democrats are extremely nervous about the prospects of Kay Hagan, the embattled senator from the state of North Carolina. She is locked in a dead heat with the establishment nominee Thom Tillis.

I had it at Leans Democratic. But alas, I will throw it into the Toss Up category. The category is valuable in this race for control of the Senate. Republicans are hoping that Obama's negative popularity could help them win control of Congress. Although, Congress under both parties is pretty damn bad, Republicans are more motivated to getting their base out to vote.

Early voting is the only key for Hagan to win. After all, Charlotte, Greensboro, Fayetteville are minority majority cities. Hagan is banking on the Black and Hispanic votes to carry her to victory.

The first term senator is fighting for her political life. She supported the president's agenda about almost 85% of the time. Hagan is the second most vulnerable candidate after Arkansas Democratic senator Mark Pryor.

Janet Kay Ruthven Hagan (/ˈheɪɡən/; born May 26, 1953) is the junior United States Senator from North Carolina, in office since January 2009. Previously she served in the North Carolina Senate from 1999 to 2009. She is a member of the Democratic Party.

When Hagan defeated Republican incumbent Elizabeth Dole in the 2008 United States Senate election, she became the first woman to defeat an incumbent woman in a Senate election.

Hagan is running for re-election in 2014 in what is considered one of the toughest reelection bids in the country, facing Republican Thom Tillis, and Libertarian Sean Haugh.

Thomas Roland "Thom" Tillis (born August 30, 1960) is a Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives from Mecklenburg County, and Speaker of the House, and is also the Republican Party's nominee for the 2014 U.S. Senate election in North Carolina.

Tillis, the son of a boat draftsman, was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but also lived in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Nashville, Tennessee, growing up.

His family moved especially frequently when he was in elementary school, as he never went to the same school in back-to-back years. In high school, Tillis was elected student body president and graduated near the top of his class.

After graduating high school at 17, Tillis left home to get a job, telling The Charlotte Observer that he and his siblings "weren't wired to go to college."He would eventually go back to school, attending Chattanooga State Community College and receiving his bachelor's degree in technology management from the University of Maryland University College in 1996.

Hagan was stalked by "protesters" according to that annoying conservative agitator's show.

You know that Thom Tillis has operatives trying to sway voters. Obviously that conservative agitator is one of those operatives who is trying to sway votes.

If the election was held today, I am guessing Hagan would survive. But still it's too early to predict the outcome.

Pat McCrory, the Republican governor of the state tried to pass a voter identification law that was considerably strict and discriminatory. Many figured that he was trying to marginalize Black, poor, and young voters with this.

The shooting death of Jonathon Ferrell also happened last year and still has people totally pissed off over the officers not being charged. This sparked the Moral March protests.

The Moral March were covered by me and S. Baldwin this year. This was the motivation for gaining new voters. Hopefully, North Carolina decides on who going to Washington.

Agriculture, tobacco, technology, aviation and coal make North Carolina prime real estate.

We'll see what happens November 4.

Sleeper Race: Former American Idol Alum Clay Aiken Runs For Congress!

Entertainer Clay Aiken is running for Congress. He is taking on the insurgent Representative Renee Ellmers of North Carolina.

The runner up for American Idol Season Two is eyeing Washington for his next gig.

In a longshot bid, entertainer Clay Aiken is trying to upset Renee Ellmers in a sleeper race.

Clayton Holmes "Clay" Aiken (born November 30, 1978) is an American singer–songwriter, television personality, actor, author, politician and activist. Aiken released seven albums while singing. He performed on reality television, Broadway and radio.

He is openly gay and is a father of a son.

The entertainer is hoping that North Carolina voters will support him over the insurgent.

The insurgent is heavily favored to win this solid Republican district. The 2nd Congressional District is prime real estate for an insurgent candidate.

And of course Ellmers is going all out to keep the Hollywood Liberals out of her district.

Renee Jacisin Ellmers (born February 9, 1964) is an American politician who has been the U.S. Representative for North Carolina's 2nd congressional district since 2011. She is a member of the Republican Party. Ellmers defeated seven-term Democratic incumbent Bob Etheridge in 2010 by 1,489 votes, confirmed after a recount.

Aiken announced his candidacy as a Democrat for the U.S. House of Representatives in North Carolina's 2nd congressional district against incumbent Republican Party Congresswoman Renee Ellmers. The district is a traditionally Democratic seat, formerly held by Rep. Bob Etheridge for 8 consecutive terms until 2010. It is roughly made up of one third registered Democrats, one third registered Republicans, and one third unaffiliated voters.

Could Aiken's celebrity help or hurt his chances with rural voters?

Will he be the next famous celebrity to be a lawmaker?

Did you know that Arnold Schwarzenegger, Clint Eastwood, Ronald Reagan, Sony Bono and Al Franken were actors before they've became politicians?

23: Them Days Growing Up, I Couldn't Stand White Folks!

Growing up in North Carolina when he was young, Michael Jordan was pretty upset over how his family was treated during them days of Jim Crow.

The Donald Sterling controversy is slowing calming down. The LA Clippers have advance to the finals. They ended the Golden State Warriors chances last week. Now they're taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder to advance.

The team has been in the news as of recently. Donald Sterling is their owner. The owner was on the phone with his mistress and I guess she recorded him making a racist tirade against Blacks. The NBA laid the hammer on Sterling. They banned him from every NBA game for life.

This is has pleased a majority of the fans and players of the sport. They believe that there's no place for racism, homophobia and religious discrimination in the NBA.

Legends had spoken out about the controversy. Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley and even Air Jordan (aka 23 or His Airness) had spoken out.

Michael Jordan.

He's a god among the basketball faithful.

The legendary NBA star is in a featured biography about his life growing up in North Carolina.

One reveling part of his autobiography was the apparent dislike of White people.

"Michael Jordan: The Life," a new biography about the six-time NBA champion by sportswriter Roland Lazenby that hit shelves this week.

NBC News reports that Jordan told Lazenby that he was suspended from school in 1977 after throwing a soda at a girl who called him the N-word.

"So I threw a soda at her," Jordan's quoted as saying. "I was really rebelling. I considered myself a racist at the time. Basically, I was against all white people."

Lazenby told Sports Illustrated that it appeared that the root of Jordan's animosity came from growing up in an area of North Carolina where the Ku Klux Klan once had a large presence.

"I've been to North Carolina hundreds of times and enjoy it tremendously, but North Carolina was a state that had more Klan members than the rest of the Southern states combined," the author said. "As I started looking at newspapers back in this era when I was putting together [Michael's great-grandfather] Dawson Jordan's life, the Klan was like a chamber of commerce. It bought the uniforms for ball teams, it put Bibles in all the schools. It may well have ended up being a chamber of commerce if not for all the violence it was perpetrating, too. A lot of the context just wasn't possible to put it in a basketball book. A lot of it ended up being cut."

Jordan's story is "an economic story," Lazenby continued. "It's a black power story. It doesn't come from politics or protests, it comes right off the Coastal Plain of North Carolina and out of the African-American experience."

"As a former player, I'm completely outraged," the NBA Hall of Famer said. "There is no room in the NBA--or anywhere else--for the kind of racism and hatred that Mr. Sterling allegedly expressed. I am appalled that this type of ignorance still exists within our country and at the highest levels of our sport. In a league where the majority of players are African-American, we cannot and must not tolerate discrimination at any level."

Michael Jordan, the retired six time NBA champ recently got remarried to Yvette Prieto, a model and actress. He divorced his longtime wife Juanita, the mother of his children in 2007.

Michael Jordan is the father of three from Juanita and two from Yvette.

He is the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats Hornets.

Pharrell's "Happy" Ended The Life Of A North Carolina Woman!

Courtney Sandford lost her life after posting on social networks. She was involved in a car accident on her way to work. Her friends and family blame her careless use of the phone for her tragic death.

A woman on her way to work was on her phone posting on the social networks when she crashed into a recycling truck near High Point, North Carolina.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family at Courtney Sandford.

Her friends tell the law that she was posting on Facebook about the time she would lose control of her vehicle and cross the median. By crossing the median, she struck the truck and was killed instantly.

The woman posted on the social networking site that she was listening to "Happy", the smash hit from entertainer Pharrell Williams.

Well it turns tragic and the North Carolina police are investigating why should didn't watch what she was doing before the crash.

Courtney Sandford was a 32 year old woman with a vibrant life. It was a horrible tragedy that could have been adverted says the law.

The Closer Online reports that she was on a stretch of Business Interstate 85 around the rush hour. Courtney posted a tweet reading: ‘The happy song makes me HAPPY!’ According to authorities, the tweet was posted at 8.33am and the first 911 call was just a minute later.

Courtney was wearing a seatbelt, but police have said that it wasn’t fastened properly.

Sadly, the timing of the tweet along with a series of selfies taken by the victim revealed that she was using her phone whilst driving.

We're in the digital age.

About 90% of American citizens own and operate a cell phone. The land line phone is on the decline and most Americans are now getting all their needs through their phone.

And with the phone comes the responsibility. Smartphone theft is on the rise and people are losing their lives over this. The companies and software developers are working to prevent this from happening. They are creating freeware and anti-theft tools to keep track of a stolen phone.

States are passing stricter laws that fine, vehicle operators who are on the road while on the phone.

I admit that I often do a lot of texting on the phone while operating a vehicle. That is extremely dangerous.

Many Americans lost their lives on the highways because of a five second text or a phone conversation.

You don't get an opportunity to avoid a hazard when you're arguing with a friend or family member.

You crash into a vehicle. Either you kill someone or you're the one!

We all must use common sense when using a cellphone!

Right Wing Alert: Sally Kern Equates Disagreeing With Her With 'Stoning' God

Sally Kern Equates Disagreeing With Her With 'Stoning' God

Sally Kern, Oklahoma's right wing's favorite Daughter.

Here are several of her right-wing fanaticism at the Oklahoma legislature.  Here's a video wanting the OK Legislature to protect students creating imaginary weapons, guns included:

All of this proves to me is that Oklahoma needs to enter the 21st century, not back to the Dark Ages or Jim Crow!

At least the good people of North Carolina rose up to protest the right-wing Dark Ages policies of Gov. Pat McCrory.  The Tar Heels ain't having any of that nonsense! They will not go back to the days of Jessie Helms.  No way!

How come the people of Oklahoma aren't protesting against Governor Mary Fallin, Rep. Sally Kern, RamZPaul, Sen. Inhofe, etc.?  When are they going to get a comeuppance?

Georgia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Alabama had their Moral Mondays.  Why not Oklahoma?  Why not my home state, Ohio?  We, too, have a governor that is just as repressive as Fallin and McCrory.

What are your thoughts?

NC Forward Together / Saving OurSelves Voting Rights Rally

March 11th, 2014 - Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II and the Forward Together Movement welcomes the S.O.S. Coalition in Raleigh as its Caravan for Democracy makes its way from Selma, Ala. to Washington DC, leaving 49 years almost to the day after civil rights leaders were beaten for daring to organize for voting rights in the Jim Crow South. Many of the assembled carry signs that memorialize the efforts and sacrifices made at Bloody Sunday in March 1965, sacrifices that spurred Congress to act on the mass disenfranchisement of African Americans by passing the Voting Rights Act later that summer.

Can Paula Deen Survive Another Scandal?

More pictures surface of celebrity chef with Black people.

Last year the Queen of Cuisine was shamed after it was revealed that she often said racial slurs about Black and Hispanic customers, now Paula Deen is promising a redemption.

Paula Deen Ventures controls the restaurants, cookbooks, and other properties that Deen owns, and it announced that it’s received a significant investment (between $75 and $100 million) from Najafi Media.

At a recent public event, Deen addressed the scandal that tanked her career for a spell last year, thanking all the people who stood by her and believed in her.

The person who sued Deen lost her battle.

Could you forgive Paula Deen?

The Racist Right Undermines The Moral March!

Loserville sends its ventriloquist dummy to aid in its attempt to undermine the Moral March. The dummy confronts Reverend William Barber on the criticism of Black Republican senator Tim Scott of South Carolina.

SiriusXM commentator David Webb is a Black conservative agitator. He often appears on Loserville to aid in the racist right's attempts to undermine the Black community and President Barack Obama.

I guess over the weekend, Webb and SiriusXM commentator Mark Thompson went to the Moral March to cover the event. Thompson is a Black liberal agitator and a strong supporter of the march.

Webb wanted to cause some trouble. So under the direction of That Guy Who Helped Obama Win, he went to make his concerns known about the leader of the Moral March's criticism of the Black Republican ventriloquist dummy who was appointed as a U.S. Senator last year.

That Guy Who Helped Obama Win is a prime example of the racist right's attempt to undermine the Black community and President Barack Obama. He's a bipolar right wing agitator who obsesses literally about Obama. He's trying to spread the gospel of lies and deception.
Reverend William Barber became the racist right's new whipping boy after he criticized the Tea Party and lawmaker Tim Scott of South Carolina, the only Black Republican in the Senate.

Barber believes Scott, Webb and many other Black conservatives promote the racist right agenda. They often say really condescending and racist things. The racist right often props these dummies to the media to prove that the 90% White party has at least 10% "the other".

Tim Scott is one of two Black U.S. Senators.
Rev. Barber would say, "A ventriloquist can always find a good dummy. [I often criticize] the extreme right wing down here. And here in South Carolina, they find a black guy to be senator and claims he's the first black senator since Reconstruction and then he goes to Washington, D.C., and articulates the agenda of the tea party."

As usual That Guy Who Helped Obama Win will selectively edit the video to make Rev. Barber look like some "angry Black man" because he's not "hearing concerns from those 'offended' by his comments."

That Guy Who Helped Obama Win called for the firing of Rev. Barber because of his criticism of the ventriloquist dummy.

What was shown on Loserville was a deception.

The result of that visit was played on They Guy Who Helped Obama Win's right wing carnival is a partial clip of the response. In the case in the time-constrained news business, only about 25 seconds of Rev. Barber’s response made it onto the show. At a press conference following the march, Webb asked, “Do you feel you owe Senator Tim Scott an apology for calling him a ventriloquist’s dummy, and black conservatives mouthpieces for the tea party?”
SiriusXM host Mark Thompson went to the Moral March and filmed the actual confrontation between Black ventriloquist dummy and Reverend William Barber.
Make It Plain, the show on SiriusXM's Progress is hosted by Mark Thompson knocks down That Guy Who Helped Obama Win and Webb. Thompson hosts his show during the evenings and he filmed the actual conversation between Webb and Rev. Barber.

Mediaite reports that Loserville flash-cuts to Rev. Barber responding, “It’s my job, it’s my calling, it’s the job of the NAACP to speak the truth about public policies,” then cuts again to Barber, who said, “And while some people may choose to get caught up on a metaphor, that is a regular usage of preachers, the real indignation and upsetness should be over the regressive agenda.”

"If you’re going to get upset," Rev. Barber said, "get upset over the denial of the Medicaid expansion. Get upset about voting to reject unemployment benefits for laid-off workers who are Republicans, who are Democrats, who are black, who are white. Get upset over reduced access to public education and funding. We are in the 60th year of Brown versus Board of Education, and some want to go backwards on public education, rather than forward. Get upset over the attacks to turn back voting rights that were won with blood, sweat, and tears."

"My critique,” Rev. Barber said, “was about public policy, not party."

David Webb host a show on SiriusXM's Patriot during the evenings. He often appears on Loserville to counterpoint the Black progressive agenda.

Rev. William Barber makes the case for the Moral March.
In 2010, the NAACP delegates passted a resolution to condemn extremist elements within the Tea Party.

They were calling on Tea Party leaders to repudiate those in their ranks who use racist language in their signs and speeches.

The resolution came after a year of high-profile media coverage of attendees of Tea Party marches using vile, antagonistic racial slurs & images.

The proposed resolution had generated controversy on conservative blogs, where in some cases the language has been misconstrued to imply that the NAACP was condemning the entire Tea Party movement itself as racist.

Andrew Breitbart the late conservative agitator and David Webb's mentor try to sabotage the NAACP and Shirley Sherrod in 2010 with a selectively edited video claiming the event was racist.

Moral Mondays are protests in North Carolina, United States of America. The protests are in response to several actions by the Republican government of North Carolina in 2013. The protests are characterized by engaging in civil disobedience by entering the state legislature building and then being peacefully arrested. The protests in North Carolina launched a grassroots social justice movement that, in 2014, spread to Georgia and South Carolina.

Moral Mondays has key principles: They demand eqaul voting rights, the prevention of cuts to social programs, tax changes, racial justice, abortion rights, public education and recently equality for LGBT.

Here's extended video of those remarks, via Make it Plain:
