Kendrick Lamar Won Best Rap Album!

The king of hip-hop.

Congratulations to Kendrick Lamar on snatching five Grammy's. Also he took home the best rap album at the 58th Grammy Awards.

To Pimp a Butterfly is the best rap album. No question.

It received a nomination for Album of the Year and won Best Rap Album at the 58th Grammy Awards. Its singles "i" and "Alright" both won Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.

The song "Alright" earned nominations for Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, its visuals for Best Music Video and "These Walls" received a nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.

To Pimp a Butterfly was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

By January 2016, the album had sold 788,000 copies in the United States.
Performing Bad Blood from 1989 album.
Congratulations to Taylor Swift for winning the night as well. And also managing to fry the ego maniacal rapper/rap producer/celebrity agitator Kanye West.

She scored a huge win for her album 1989.

Taylor Swift won the Best Album of the Year award and she clapped back at Kanye West after he went into his diva mode. West made the remarks that he created Taylor's career. He promoted that line in his Life of Pablo album. The album was released last week. The two are back feuding again.

I managed to catch the last few minutes of the Grammy Awards. I normally hate watching award shows because I believe these things are boring.

Also Meghan Trainor, The Weeknd, Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars, D'Angelo and many others took home a Grammy. Also former president Jimmy Carter took home a Grammy as well.

Congratulations to them all for their hard work.

World News Today also send our condolences to the family of DJ Big Kap. The rap pioneer passed away on February 3rd, 2016. I just found out about his death.

Dr. Dre Is Producing A TV Show!

The biggest player in hip-hop turns to television. Dr. Dre is working on a television program.

The good doctor rolling up a fat sack of the Chronic and he's going to smoke it.

First things first! World News Today want to wish Dr. Dre a happy birthday. The media mogul has a birthday on February 18th. Well wishes to him.

The junk food media is reporting that Apple is working on a television show based of his upbringing. It will be exclusively streamed on Apple TV and its going be called Vital Signs.

While details of the show are still unknown, it's going to have some major A-listers involved.

Besides Dre, longtime video director Paul Hunter is taking a piece of the action. The executive producers Aaron Ginsburg and William Green and Robert Munic (of Empire fame) were hand-picked by Dre to write all six episodes.

No word on when the show will debut. Dr. Dre is tight lipped on leaks.

Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine were involved in making Beats Audio a success. Iovine resigned from Interscope Records in order to take a role in Apple Music's streaming service. Dr. Dre managed to sale his shares for over $3 billion.

He is the world's richest rapper. He released his "final" album Compton: The Soundtrack on Aftermath Entertainment. The album sold nearly 600,000 copies.

He also scored a big payday when the blockbuster movie Straight Outta Compton made nearly $1 billion in ticket sales.

Also Apple Music has signed on DJ Khaled, Drake and Future to the stream their exclusives.

Future's EVOL album released last Friday managed to score 174,000 units placing him once again in the Number 1 spot. This would be his third album in which he hit the top. Also the third in less than a year.

Anthony Anderson: Stacey Dash Is An "Ann Coulter Dipped In Butterscotch"!

Anthony Anderson roasted Stacey Dash.

The creator and star of the hit ABC comedy black-ish went there. Anthony Anderson is the star, co-executive producer of the Kenya Burris show about a Black upscale father trying to get his suburbanite children hip to the "Black experience".

Anderson took a shot at his former friend in the entertainment industry after she made some stupid ass comments last month. And the actress clapped back at him.

Washed up actress and political agitator Stacey Dash once again stirred the pot of shit and cause another controversy.

There's a movie that's going to have a White actor play the role of Michael Jackson, sparking outrage among entertainment industry. British actor Joseph Fiennes. The movie (Elizabeth, Michael & Marlon) is facing harsh scrutiny.

Dash on the other hand, applauded the notion of a White guy playing the iconic pop star. By the way, Michael Jackson is Black and he's always identified himself as such. Although his antics were much tabloid sensation, Michael had a legacy and people respected it. Some will always judge him as a molester of children and a wack-a-doodle.

But his own children will judge him as a great father and a humanitarian to the world.
Most of Black America views Stacey Dash as "clueless".
Anderson had enough of Dash acting "clueless". So at the NAACP Image Awards, Anderson clapped at her. “Everybody give a round of applause for Stacey Dash,” the host joked on Friday. “What the hell is she doing? Doesn't she know that the Fox network is using her? She's just an Ann Coulter dipped in butterscotch.”

“Baby, don't let 'em use you,” he continued. “Come back to the black people and get back to work on some of those beautiful C-movies that you used to do!”

Anderson also made several pointed jokes about the diversity in the audience, a not-so-thinly veiled reference to the #OscarsSoWhite controversy.

“Look at all of these beautiful shades of people in the audience. Hollywood needs to know that this is what diversity is supposed to look like,” he said during his opening monologue. “I love seeing all these faces; black people working.”

“Everybody keeps saying it’s a comeback,” he added. “But hell, don't call it a comeback — we've been here for years.”

He also addressed Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, who made waves when they announced a boycott of the Oscars.

“Will and Jada are in the audience tonight,” Anderson quipped. “Hell, they better be here after all this ish they started.”

As for Dash, she shot back at Anderson on Twitter on Friday night, saying, “Well it’s funny how woman who weighs 105 wet! Can get grown a– men to act like llittle girls! Haha.”

Also Janet Hubert went into the spotlight again. She ripped Dash for being a media ho.

The full video of the NAACP Awards is available for the time being.

Maurice White Passed Away!

Maurice White
Famed singer Maurice White died today.

I am truly sadden by the latest news of a legend in R&B and funk music passing away.

The lead singer of the hit R&B group Earth, Wind & Fire, Maurice White, who's voice led through the 1970-80s with his funky grooves like "September", "Shining Star", "Boogie Wonderland", "Can't Hide Love" and "After The Love Is Gone" passed away.

According to the group, White passed away in his sleep after fighting Parkinson's Disease.

Maurice White was an American singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, arranger and bandleader. He was the founder of the band Earth, Wind & Fire. He was also the older brother of current Earth, Wind & Fire member Verdine White, and former member Fred White. Maurice served as the band's main songwriter and record producer, and was co-lead singer (along with Philip Bailey). White won seven Grammys, and was nominated for 21 Grammys in total.

White was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame as a member of Earth, Wind & Fire, and was also individually inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Also known by his nickname Reese, he worked with several famous recording artists such as Deniece Williams, The Emotions, Barbra Streisand and Neil Diamond.

World News Today send our condolences to the family of Maurice White.

Hollywood Conservatives Denounces #OscarsSoWhite!

Hollywood conservatives speak out against #OscarsSoWhite and Jada Pinkett Smith's boycott of the Oscars.

Did you know that some entertainers in Hollywood are conservative?

Chuck Norris, Ted Nugent, Patricia Heaton, Kelsey Grammer, Clint Eastwood, Jenna Jameson, Rob Schneider, LL Cool J, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Shannen Doherty, Adam Corolla, Dennis Miller, Vince Vaughn, James Woods, Jon Voight, Adam Sandler, Stacey Dash, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Melissa Joan Hart are notable Republicans celebrities.

Hollywood does have celebrities who are dye in the wool Republicans. They happened to be some on the A-list all the way down to the D-list.

Many of these celebrities have spoken on the boycott against the Academy Awards.

Even some in the nomination committee sparked a tad bit of outrage.

Lionel Chetwynd a member of the Academy board said, "It's shortsighted that people are making these accusation and, frankly it's insulting. He added, "I'm quite capable of judging and marveling at a performance without being conscious of the actor's skin color, What's wrong with you all? It's not the Academy of Diversity."

Chetwynd, believes that the votes weren't inspired by bigotry.

"Sometimes it takes a long period of time for culture change to be reflected the time, and they're going to be replaced by a new generation of artists But that doesn't happen overnight. And it shouldn't," said Chetwynd.

Actor Michael Caine an Oscar winner himself found himself catching some heat. The British actor said that Black actors should be "patient" for Oscar nominations and that he wouldn't vote for a Black actor solely based on his race.

"There's are loads of black actors; I think in he end you can't vote for an actor (just) because he's black. You can't say, 'I'm going to vote for him, he's not very good but he's Black, (so) I'll vote for him.' You've got to give a good performance."

British actress Charlotte Rampling fought back tears when she went on record to say that the #OscarsSoWhite hashtag and the boycott was "racist to White people." She went as far to say that Black actors aren't good enough for a nomination. By the way, Rampling is nominated for an Oscar for the movie 45 years.

"One can never really know, but perhaps the Black actors did not deserve to make the final list," said Rampling. Asked if the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences should introduce quotas, a proposal which no current advocate of increased diversity has mooted, Rampling responds with this tepid response: "Why classify people? These days everyone is more or less accepted. People will always say 'Him, he's less handsome'; 'Him, he's too Black', 'He is too White'.... someone will always be saying 'You are too [this or that] ... But do we have to take from this that there should be lots of minorities everywhere?"

Truly sad and pathetic that we have people who continue to undermine the real message to why the Academy Awards have to change. When will they realize that this issue has been active for years.

Macklemore And Ryan Lewis Talk "White Privilege"!

Rap duo release a single that touches a nerve. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis release "White Privilege" off their sophomore album, The Unruly Mess I've Made.

Grammy award winning rap duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are dropping a single that will have people talking. The duo released White Privilege II, a sequel to the White Privilege single from Macklemore's 2005 underground release The Language of My World.

The song gets the nation's attention.

The Huffington Post spotlights the single. Believe me that the song singles out Iggy Azalea, Miley Cyrus and numerous other White entertainers who embraced Black culture.

The duo's lyrics to the song  touch on racial tensions, the Black Lives Matter movement and the toxicity of being passive in one's own white privilege. The nearly nine-minute song, which features Jamila Woods, points out that too often white people stand up against racial injustice when it is convenient for them.

The song also tackles the exploitation of black traditions, calling out Miley Cyrus, Iggy Azalea and Elvis for cultural appropriation. “We take all we want from black culture, but will we show up for black lives?" Macklemore, who's been accused of appropriation himself, raps.

In anticipation of the follow up to their smash album The Heist, the duo releases The Unruly Mess I've Made in February.

This Unruly Mess I've Made, album cover.jpgThe song, which is free on iTunes, is the result of the artists' ongoing dialogue about race in Seattle and across the country as they seek to engage with and invest in black-led organizations like Black Lives Matter and Black Youth Project 100.

"[W]e will continue to find ways in which we can leverage our platform and network towards strengthening the work of organizers and initiatives framed by genuine racial and social equity," the artists said in a statement. "We wish to support direct organizing and be led by the expertise and experience of those on the front lines as we proceed."

Macklemore is passionate about #OscarsSoWhite and the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

He released the song to show solidarity to Jada Pinkett Smith.

Jada called upon a boycott of the Oscar Awards and it's managed to gain traction.

Some individuals in the industry have spoken against the boycott. Besides Janet Hubert, you have two others involved in the controversy. Gerald Molen and Charlotte Rumpling have called the boycott bullshit and blast #OscarsSoWhite as racist.

We will cover this controversy in the next post.

Conservatives: Should The Oscars Give Gangsta Rappers An Award?

The pressure is on.

You know the trolls of the racist right are out! Ever since Jada Pinkett Smith made the call to boycott the Oscars after another year of no Black nominees, conservatives have jumped on the bandwagon to attack her, Spike Lee and President Barack Obama.

The concern trolls, the White extremists and the flagrant flamers are working overtime in trying to undermine the message.

The most common theme among conservatives is "BET gave awards to Black people, what's the big deal?" or "You guys should stop complaining, the movies sucked!".

The creator of the #OscarsSoWhite hashtag April Reign praises Jada's boycott. She believes the time is now to address the controversy and keep pressure on the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences to change course, fast.

The Drudge Report (which I refer to as the conservative Craigslist) spotlighted the washed up celebrity Janet Hubert's vicious rant on Jada Pinkett Smith and her husband Will Smith.

Hubert, who once played Aunt Vivian on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was fired out the cannon. She blames Smith for getting her blackballed in Hollywood. She jumped on the concern troll wagon telling stories about how Will's refusal to stick up for her during a contractual dispute lead to the bitter feud. Hubert says that Blacks have more concerns than some statue. I happen to agree with her only in that sense. But unfortunately, if this is swept under the rug, we condone this and that's what Hubert is missing.
Michael B. Jordan in the movie Creed.
Conservatives have seen Aunt Viv's rant as a way to denounce the boycott.

But it hasn't stopped many others from rallying to her defense. George Clooney, Snoop Dogg, Lupita Nyong'o, Idris Elba, Michael Moore, David Oyelowo, Whoopi Goldberg, and even Oscars host Chris Rock have spoken in favor of Jada's boycott.

Spike Lee appeared on Good Morning America to say that he'll be watching a New York Knicks game instead of watching or going to the Oscars. Lee said that he supports his brother Chris [Rock] and his decisions are his to own. He also said that Academy's president Cheryl Isaacs Boone is a sister of the cause but in a dilemma of her own creating.

A British film critic agitated the controversy even more. Mediaite reports that Jason Solomons basically said that Blacks should be snubbed if they're  playing minstrel characters. He said that black people shouldn't win covet nominations for playing "gangster rappers" like the Straight Outta Compton cast, or an "African savage" like Idris Elba‘s Beasts of No Nation character.

Now this probably a member of the Academy voting committee basically saying that Black talent isn't valued.

50 Cent: You Know You're A Sh*thead When You Rally Behind "Weak" Mill!

Meek Mill feud spreads past Drake and Future. He aims at the Unit's 50 Cent.

Meek Mill released a surprise EP in anticipation of his mixtape Dreamchasers 4. The mixtape has unleashed several subliminals aimed at Drake and Future. Seven months after the Great Feud of 2015, Meek Mill decided to go back into the studio and record a handful of tracks aimed at the Canadian entertainer and those associated around him.

Meek also took aim at another entertainer, one who is a media mogul whose recently struggled with his money.

Curtis got a broadside by Meek.

And Curtis decided to go hard on him. The Unit's leader has made it clear he's no fan of Rick Ross. I am guessing that Meek decided to come to defense of the rapper after 50 continued to taunt him on Rozay's legal situations.

And down below is 50 Cent's official social media page. He mocks Meek. He photoshopped Meek's face to a poop emoji.

50 Cent called Meek a "shithead" and said that his career was over. He went to social media saying that Meek better get his girlfriend Nicki Minaj pregnant and ask for child support.

When Meek released the 4 for 4 Mixtape, he released "Gave 'Em Hope" in which some of the lyrics targeted 50 as a rat. He also went through 50's feud with former ally Floyd Mayweather.

[Intro]
Let them niggas have the Grammys, we got the streets
We rich already and my chick the baddest
This Rollie like my trophy, young nigga

[Hook]
When they needed motivation (What you do?)
I gave 'em hope
When my nigga needed money (What you do?)
I gave him dope
Every time we went to war (What we do?)
We gave 'em smoke
Fiends was copping, I was broke
Fuck that shit, we gave 'em soap
They forgot we gave 'em hope

[Verse 1]
I would spend time on that corner trying to stack me a hundred up
Strapped with that Glock with on my hip shit the coppers was running up
I look at these niggas and I can tell they are not one of us
I ride in the back like a nigga that can't ride the front of the bus
They had it segregated, bulletproof Caddy, I escalated
Stepped up in my game like a escalator
When you shine like I shine, you get extra haters
Seen 'em ride with the fake and I hesitated
"Wait, these niggas serious?", or maybe Meek Milly delirious
Judge had to sentence a nigga, no period
I'm putting fear in these niggas, ain't sparing these niggas
I cut out your head with a hair on the trigger
Try to reach for my chain shit I deal with you niggas
I end one of you niggas, had the paramedics screaming, "Clear", on you niggas
Uh, back in the Phil, we gon' get to the money and stack up that dough 'til it way up
'Member them bitches? They played us back in the day like a Sega
Now I got paper, young nigga doing so major
Niggas is hater, look as they faces
Yeah, we still balling, bitch, it's the Chasers

[Hook]
I gave 'em hope
When my nigga needed money (What you do?)
I gave him dope
Every time we went to war (What we do?)
We gave 'em smoke
Fiends was copping, I was broke
Fuck that shit, we gave 'em soap
They forgot we gave 'em hope

[Verse 2]
Uh, look at the money and stack it up
I talk about it, I bag it up
You popping shit on your Instagram
Shit that you're popping ain't adding up
Shit that you're popping ain't making sense
I got fifty reasons say you're taking dick
And it's fifty reasons I should kill, nigga
But, for real, nigga, I been taking trips with my Philly niggas
Got the richest chick, she's from your hood
Niggas hating on me, I ain't really tripping, shit, I'm good
I be in the 40 with the .40 on me like I should
I be deep in your hood where you never be at
Be with them guys that you never could dap
You could never adapt
You know the game, if you cosign a rat, you forever a rat
We were never with that
You tried to go "Money" May with that paper, but now you in debt cause you never was that
Fuck is you high? You know better than that
Mention my name and Berettas with that
I move for real in these streets, in the world with that piece I'm like Metta with that
Fuck what you heard, I'm a get mine out the curb
I'm a just sit back, I'm watching 'em serve
How niggas, they didn't rock the wave and they surf
I'm on my surfboard, this what I worked for
Mention my name, the shit your get murked for
Shit you get robbed for, shit you get killed for
Shit you get carried boxes into church for, oh

[Hook]
I gave 'em hope
When my nigga needed money (What you do?)
I gave him dope
Every time we went to war (What we do?)
We gave 'em smoke
Fiends was copping, I was broke
Fuck that shit, we gave 'em soap
They forgot we gave 'em hope

I see that it was clearly aimed at 50 Cent. Meek who is currently facing a bid in the iron college once again violates his probation by doing something that the judge told him not to do.

A photo posted by Meek Mill (@meekmill) on

By posting on social media, he may have violated his term of conditions. But who knows what could happen! He knows he's fucked anyway.

What makes the feud so crazy, 50 Cent wasn't letting Meek off the hook. He went on to post a handful of direct shots at Meek. Matter of fact, there were nine mentions of Meek in a video.

The first one was funny. The second one was hilarious and I'll leave it up to you to view the rest on his official Instagram page.

.

Let's hear what 50 Cent's going to bring to the table. Meek fired first shot. Will 50 Cent give Meek "back to back" disses?

Once Again #OscarsSoWhite Is Trending!

If it wasn't for #BlackLivesMatter, I wouldn't have notice this stuff. I've normally avoided watching award shows.

I don't care for them.

But now I am going to start caring because it's starting to look a little more Whiter and less colorful.

And for that, it spawned the hashtag #OscarsSoWhite.

Again, the Academy Awards is facing harsh scrutiny over nominating only White actors, directors and producers over the Black and Hispanic talent.

None of the 20 main spots were given to any actors of color. Especially the Black ones.

The Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is about to be boycotted.

Straight Outta Compton, Creed, Concussion, Beasts of No Nation and The Hateful Eight were snubbed.

Me and S. Baldwin see this as a disgrace of talent and deliberate attempts to undermine the great feats of Black, Hispanic and Asian actors and actresses.

If this is supposed to be LIBERAL HOLLYWOOD, wondering who's in charge of the nominating committee?

There are four acting categories with 20 slots each. Not one of those categories have a Black actor or director nominated for the award.

Will the #BlackLivesMatter activists try to convince Chris Rock bow out of hosting duties?

Will Chris Rock address the controversy?

Does The Academy Awards Nominations Deliberately Shut Out Black Entertainers?
Yeah. I believe it's terrible for Hollywood to shut out great talent.
Nope. It's not a big deal. Maybe the talent wasn't good enough for the nomination.

If you're not the winner from California, you're probably returning back to work.

So as we wait for the winner of the jackpot ticket to come forth, many others have their bets on at least getting some of their money back.

So far, the clerk at 7-Eleven in Chino Hills will have a huge bonus for selling the ticket. Probably the company itself will get the bragging rights.

St. Louis Loses The Rams! San Diego May Lose The Chargers!

Los Angeles Rams logo
Los Angeles will get a football team. They will play in Inglewood, CA

It comes as no surprise that St. Louis isn't happy about this development. Mayor Francis Slay is really pissed about the NFL's decision to have the city's professional football team move back to Los Angeles. The Gateway to the West hosted the Rams for over 20 years. They had a somewhat good relationship until recently.

This departure stemmed from the city refusing to build a $4 billion dollar stadium. The city cites revenue cost and taxpayers refusal to pass levies to grant the leasing of a stadium.

In unanimous vote of 30-2, the NFL owners decided that time was now for Los Angeles to have a professional team. They decided St. Louis, the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers

The move really shocked the fans and probably many around the St. Louis metro area.

Now the fears of San Diego losing their Chargers and Oakland losing their Raiders happen to surge in the news.
St. Louis was hoping to please the NFL by giving them a riverfront stadium. It failed.
The Los Angeles Times reported that St. Louis business executive Stan Kroenke and Stockbridge Capital Group were partnering up in developing a new NFL stadium on the Inglewood property owned by Kroenke. The project would include an 80,000-seat stadium and a 6,000-seat performance venue, while re-configuring the previously approved Hollywood Park plan for up to 890,000 square feet of retail, 780,000 square feet of office space, 2,500 new residential units, a 300-room hotel and 25 acres of public parks, playgrounds, open space and pedestrian and bicycle access. The stadium would likely be ready by 2019.

The Rams will relocate to the City of Champions Stadium in Inglewood, California.

In lieu of this, St. Louis countered with a stadium plan for the north riverfront area of downtown, with the hope of keeping the Rams franchise in the city. On February 24, 2015, the Inglewood City Council approved the stadium and the initiative with construction on the stadium planned to begin in December 2015.

The day following the conclusion of the 2015 regular season, the Rams, Raiders, and Chargers all filed to relocate to Los Angeles. The same day, the NFL announced that any franchise approved for relocation would need to pay a $550 million relocation fee.

Kendrick Lamar Meets Obama!

President Barack Obama address gun violence with hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar.

The 11 time Grammy nominated rapper/singer Kendrick Lamar got an opportunity to meet President Barack Obama this weekend.

The Compton rapper has been very focused on politics and hasn't endorsed any political candidate for president. He heads to the White House to discuss issues involving gun violence, Black empowerment and the president's favorite song off his platinum selling album.

If these walls could talk...!

"I look at where I'm at today and realize that most of my success is owed to the mentors that was in my life," Lamar says at the opening, playing basketball with a young kid.
Kendrick Lamar and Terry Crews "Hit The Quan" in the "These Walls" video.
"I sat down with President Barack Obama and we shared the same views. Topics concerning the inner cities, the problems, the solutions, and furthermore embracing the youth, both being aware that mentoring saves lives."

To Pimp a Butterfly album is a smash. The rapper released the album in February 2015, and it spawned the hits, "i (Love Myself)", "Alright", and "These Walls".

The president admits that he's a fan of hip-hop and he enjoyed the album. His favorite song off the album was "How Much a Dollar Cost".

Last year, Geraldo Rivera went on this rant about Kendrick Lamar being anti-White and anti-cop with his song.

"This is why I say that hip-hop has done more damage to young African-Americans than racism in recent years. This is exactly the wrong message. And then to conflate what happened in the church in Charleston, South Carolina with the tragic incidents involving excessive use of force by cops is to equate that racist killer with these cops. It's so wrong. It’s so counterproductive. It gives exactly the wrong message." said the agitator.

The rapper responded back to the criticism.

"How can you take a song that's about hope and turn it into hatred?" he said. "The message, the overall message [of  'Alright'], is, 'We gon' be alright.' It's not a message of  'I want to kill people.'"

World News Today congratulates Kendrick Lamar on his success.

The Perils Of Janet Jackson!

Junk food media reports Janet Jackson suffered a cancer scare.

The famed pop singer is denouncing rumors that she may have cancer. But some form of illness forced her to scrap the tour for her recent release Unbreakable.

The singer's publicist went to social media to disspell rumors.

On her social media account, Janet released a video saying that she's recovering from the illness but gave no further word about the situation. Janet canceled North America tours and had been on a hiatus.

Her announcement came less than two weeks after she said that she was postponing her tour to have an unspecific surgical procedure. Janet was going to a performance in Denver. She is scheduled to perform in Europe. She was cleared by her doctors to head overseas.

Janet hasn't really spoken to the junk food media about her health, her marriage to Qatar business mogul Wissam Al Mana and her brother Michael's tragic death.

The Unbreakable album is the first album release from the entertainer in nearly ten years.

It's been long road to recovery for the entertainer. She struggled from depression. Janet felt the sting of the junk food media when she and Justin Timberlake performed at the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show. Timberlake ripped the plate off Janet's wardrobe and exposed her right breast. The iconic term "wardrobe malfunction" became symbolic with Janet.

The NFL, CBS and the entertainers had to personally apologize for the incident. Many in the junk food media called the incident a point where Janet could never recover from.

Kylie Jenner Put The Tyga Out!

kylie-jenner-18-birthday-party-21-tyga-ffn
Tyga broke and single. His controversial relationship with Kylie Jenner is over.

Almost a year together and I guess the "Rack City" rapper was being plagued with allegations of cheating. The rapper was facing some serious criticism for dating the half-sister of celebrity agitator Kim Kardashian-West.

Michael Ray Nguyen Stevenson (aka Tyga) is officially a washed up rapper. He's burn more homes during his rise to fame and never was charged with arson.

Now he won't have that side chick anymore. Kylie Jenner put the Tyga out.

They are officially broke up.

To make it more embarrassing for the Compton rapper, Kylie broke up with him on his birthday.

Tyga who sparked the internal feud within the Young Money/Cash Money label has been blackballed after he went to the junk food media to blast Drake and Nicki Minaj.

Drake took Tyga to the woodshed. The mother of his son, Blac Chyna went after him for cheating on her with an underage spoiled brat.

The Fan of Fan collaboration album with fellow washed up singer Chris Brown and Last Kings: The Gold Album 18th Dynasty flopped.

Tyga was surviving on the much controversial relationship with the now 18 year old celebrity agitator.

Tyga was going broke fast. He failed to pay his rent on his luxury home. He got Kylie a Lamborghini on rental. He was spoiling this teenager more than his son.

Tyga also played on his numerous flings. One fling, transgender porn star Mia Isabella told the junk food media that he does it "NASTY".

Tyga was allegedly caught sexting a stripper.

Many in the Kardashian and Jenner household were so relieved to hear that Tyga was kicked to the curb. They knew he was up to no good. He couldn't help his libido.

Chris Brown and Blac Chyna had came to his rescue. They were spotted with the rapper trying to at least cheer him up.

Apple Cannon Fires Staffers After Profiling Black Shoppers!

Students Petrie Alemu, Mabior Ater, Mihamed Semra, Ese Oseghale and Gereng Dere go to Apple at Highpoint Shopping Centre for the store's apology.
Apple formally apologized to Black teens after they were profiled in one of their stores in Australia.

I was caught off guard by the horrific attacks in the French Republic. The city of Paris is under siege.

Terrorism happened tonight in the entertainment districts of Paris France. World News Today send our condolences to the victims of this senseless tragedy.

Shopping while Black in Australia.

In Melbourne, Victoria, a group of Black students went into an Apple Store and they got roused by the store security. After exiting the building, the manager came out to inform the students that they were acting suspiciously and he feared they were planning on lifting property.

A video of the interaction between a Highpoint Apple store staff member and a group of students was uploaded to Facebook on Tuesday night.

The six boys from Maribyrnong College were denied entry to the store by a staff member and two security guards.

“These guys [security guards] are just a bit worried about your presence in our store. They’re just worried you might steal something,” the Apple staff member says in the video.

A member of the group replied: “Why would we steal something?”

One of the students evicted from the store, Mabior Ater, told Fairfax Media that he had been going to the Highpoint shopping centre for a long time.

“I never thought something like this would happen ... of course I was offended,” he said.

Ater said the principal of their school accompanied the students back to the store to help them in seeking an apology.

“[The manager] apologized to us and told us that we are welcome here anytime,” he said. “It feels like we have justice now.”

An Apple Australia spokeswoman told Guardian Australia that the company would not be commenting.

Apple CEO Tim Cook wasn't pleased about this.

He ordered an immediate retraining of all employees. The company released a statement saying that "inclusion and diversity are among Apple's core values. We believe in equality for everyone, regardless of race, age, gender, gender identity, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation. That applies throughout our company, around the world with no exceptions. We've looked into the details of the situation and we apologize to the customers involved. We will continue to do everything in our power to ensure all our customers are treated the way they should be."

Allen Toussaint Passed Away!

AllenToussaintFeb07.jpg
The legendary Allen Toussaint passed away.

The world of jazz and blues loses another legend. The great blues player Allen Toussaint passed away of an apparent heart attack while performing in Madrid, Spain.

He was an American musician, songwriter/composer, record producer, and influential figure in New Orleans R&B.

Many of Toussaint's songs became familiar through versions by other musicians, including "Working in the Coal Mine", "Ride Your Pony", "Fortune Teller", "Play Something Sweet", "Southern Nights", "Everything I Do Gonna Be Funky", "I'll Take a Melody", "Get Out of My Life, Woman" and "Mother-in-Law".

Toussaint, 77, had been touring in Madrid, Clarence Toussaint said in the statement.

Artists in nearly every major genre recorded Toussaint's songs or collaborated with him, including the Rolling Stones, the Yardbirds, Herb Alpert, Glenn Campbell, Robert Palmer and Alison Kraus and Elvis Costello.

His music, often by way of his house band The Meters, was also widely sampled by hip-hop artists such as Amerie, Public Enemy and N.W.A.
President Barack Obama shakes hands with Allen Toussaint at the 2012 Medal of Honor induction.
"I don't want y'all thinkin' 'this is just some old legend that passed away' naw," Questlove, founding member of the hip-hop group The Roots, wrote on Instagram. "This dude wrote some of your favorite music & you just didn't know it."

Toussaint's influence is woven through popular music and hip-hop, he wrote.

"At least 12 'Get Out My Life Woman' snares were like starch in hip hop's daily nutritional chart -- meaning so there you barely notice it," Questlove wrote.

British singer Billy Bragg also lamented Toussaint's death on Twitter.

"The man was a genius," he said.

Toussaint also was a well-regarded performer in his own right. His 2012 jazz album, "The Bright Mississippi," showcased "what an idiosyncratic, inventive instrumentalist he is," Allmusic critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine wrote at the time.

Toussaint opened a recording studio, Sea-Saint, in 1973 with partner Marshall Sehorn and operated his own record label.

Artists including Dr. John, the Neville Brothers, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Robert Palmer and Labelle recorded at the studio, according to Toussaint's biography for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, into which he was inducted in 1998.

After Hurricane Katrina destroyed his studio in New Orleans, he relocated to New York, according to his biography, and began a resurgent career as a live performer that continued to his death.

"After his hometown was battered by Katrina and Allen was forced to evacuate, he did something even more important for his city: He went back," President Barack Obama said in 2012 in awarding Toussaint a National Medal of the Arts. "And since then, Allen has devoted his musical talent to lifting up and building up a city."
