Steve Wilkos, a former Chicago Police sergeant turned media personality and talk show host was the famed bodyguard of Jerry Springer. He often would guest host The Jerry Springer Show when Jerry was doing other shows and projects.
NBCUniversal loved how he handled the show, they greenlit a spinoff talk show but without the sideshow.
The Steve Wilkos Show which launched in 2007 is officially cancelled and will finish its season in nearly 20 years to the launch.
This comes on the heels of NBCUniversal canceling The Kelly Clarkson Show, Access Hollywood and Karamo.
The conglomerate is ending all syndicated programing.
