The Republicans are going to get a wake up call in 2022 if they don't pull their heads out their asses. They better get use to the new norms.

The U.S. House of Representatives has presented its article of impeachment against Donald J. Trump to the Senate.

After years of demonizing Barack Obama and worshiping Trump, the Republicans want to move on past the chaos they've created. We will not let this slide. All the years of misinformation and demonizing will certainly come to an end. We need to hold Republicans and those who engaged in an attack against democracy accountable.

We are not moving on.... We are going to move forward.

The neverending hypocrisy exists with the Republican Party. They party is full of radicals, hypocrites, conspiracy nuts, blue bloods, racists and jocks.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is one of the most least productive members of the U.S. Senate. He is just like his dad, former Republican lawmaker Ron Paul. All talk and no action.

Paul was hoping to sabotage the impeachment trial by throwing shit to the wall hoping it sticks. There were a few Republicans who believe Trump should be held accountable for the insurrection.

Senators were sworn in as jurors to former president Trump’s impeachment trial Tuesday as the Senate voted 55-45 to end debate on Paul’s point of order arguing that the impeachment trial is unconstitutional now that Trump is out of office.

Five GOP senators voted not to dismiss the impeachment trial of President Trump: Susan Collins, Maine, Lisa Murkowski, Alaska, Ben Sasse, Nebraska and Pat Toomey, Pennsylvania, and Mitt Romney, Utah. They voted with all 50 Democrat senators to table the point of order.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who has indicated he has an open mind on whether Trump should be convicted, voted against ending debate.

Paul had told reporters earlier that he would make a point of order alleging that the trial is contrary to the Constitution -- an argument that multiple Republican senators have made. That forced a vote on the point of order, requiring senators to go on the record about whether they believe the trial is constitutional.

The Senate also passed its pre-trial organizing resolution 83 to 17, and the impeachment trial will be adjourned until Tuesday, Feb. 9, as McConnell had been pushing for.

Paul said he expected his resolution to prove there would be "no chance" of impeaching the president in the Senate.

"I think there will be enough support on it to show there’s no chance they can impeach the president," Paul told reporters Tuesday. "If 34 people support my resolution that this is an unconstitutional proceeding it shows they don’t have the votes and we’re basically wasting our time."

The Senate would need a two-thirds majority, or at least 67 votes, to convict the president.

Republicans have called to "move on" from impeachment now that Trump is out of office, adding that to continue pursuing the matter would further divide the country.

The Constitution says, "When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside." Chief Justice John Roberts let it be known that he would not preside over the impeachment now that Trump is no longer president.

Paul and the Republicans want to move past the insurrection. The Republicans instigated this by endorsing Trump's claims that the election was stolen. It led to terrorists storming the U.S. Capitol. Trump is impeached again.

Paul, in floor remarks ahead of the vote, claimed that the absence of the chief justice  made the trial unconstitutional. The Kentucky Republican said that without the chief justice present, the trial was "not a trial of the president but of a private citizen."

"Impeachment is for removal from office and the accused here has already left office. Hyper-partisan Democrats are about to drag our great country into the gutter of rancor and vitriol the likes of which has never been seen in our nation's history," Paul said ahead of the vote.

"Instead of doing the nation’s work with their new majorities in the House, Senate, and the executive branch, Democrats are wasting the nation’s time on a partisan vendetta against a man no longer in office," Paul argued.

Pual argued on Twitter that "45 Senators agreed that this sham of a 'trial' is unconstitutional. That is more than will be needed to acquit and to eventually end this partisan impeachment process."

Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows predicted after the vote that the impeachment article was "dead on arrival." He praised Paul and Republican senators for "standing up."

Schumer said that Paul’s assessment was "flat out wrong" and had been "completely debunked by constitutional scholars all across the political spectrum." The Democrat leader said that Paul had left out Article 1 Section 3, where the Constitution states that officials can be barred from holding office ever again through impeachment.

"Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States," the Constitution reads.

Trump was impeached in the House after for months claiming that he won the presidential election. Trump then held a rally on Jan. 6, when Congress and former Vice President Pence were meeting to certify the results of President Biden's win, where he pressed his claims. Afterward, protestors stormed the Capitol.

He was impeached on the charge of inciting an insurrection.

Trump and his allies at that rally used pitched rhetoric -- although Trump did at one point tell his supporters to "peacefully and patriotically" march to the Capitol -- as they continued to make unproven claims about widespread voter fraud.

A pro-Trump mob shortly thereafter stormed the Capitol, forcing Pence and hundreds of lawmakers into hiding, and ransacking the building.

The Senate did concede to a Republican request by delaying the trial’s start until Feb. 9. McConnell had requested Schumer allow the trial to be delayed to offer the president’s defense team "a modest and reasonable amount of additional time" to prepare a case.

Democrats embraced the delay and, in turn, will be able to dedicate the immediate weeks to confirming President Biden’s cabinet nominees.

"If the framers intended impeachment to be merely a vehicle to remove a president from sitting office they would not have included this," Schumer argued.

Sen. Pat Leahy (D-VT) will preside over the trial. He did not feel well and was rushed to the hospital. The senator is resting at home and confirms he will return to the Senate to conduct the trial.

Still, Why Kobe?

One year ago, Kobe and Gigi Bryant died in a helicopter crash.

STILL MAMBA ALL DAY! KOBE BRYANT STILL A LEGEND!

GOOGLE'S BLOGGER IS TRASH!

It's almost hard to believe that on this day, the legendary basketball star Kobe Bryant passed away along with his daughter Gigi and five others.

On Sunday, January 26, 2020, Kobe and his daughter were on their way to a basketball camp in the Los Angeles area. They took along four of her friends, a coach and operated by the pilot.

The day was heavily foggy and air travel was restricted. The pilot ignored the warnings and end up flying the helicopter on its deadly flight.

The helicopter crashed into a mountain near Simi Valley.

The crash led to the death of an iconic figure in NBA history. A man who worked tirelessly to build the Los Angeles Lakers to greatness. A man who played with the team for over 20 years.

A man who was a father to his daughters and working on building a life with his wife.

A man who was flawed with the temptations of fame almost ruined by an encounter in a Colorado resort. Bryant was accused of sexual assault on a woman at the resort. He would have seen his career in the iron college. He managed to beat the charges but it ruined his brand.

He ended up settling out of court and moving on. He and his wife Vanessa had a rocky relationship at one point in which they were going to divorce, but they ended up reconciling before his death.

His youngest daughter will have no memory of him. She was only less than a year old when her dad passed away.

Vanessa a widow now raises her three daughters and copes everyday missing her love.

Kobe Bean Bryant was an American professional basketball player. A shooting guard, he spent his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association.

Vanessa mournfully marked the first anniversary of the tragic deaths of her late husband, NBA legend Kobe Bryant, and her teenage daughter, Gianna — sharing a moving note from one of Gianna's best friends.

Thirty-eight-year-old Vanessa — who is also mom to daughters Natalia, 18, Bianka, 4, and 1-year-old Capri — shared the letter on her Instagram feed, writing a heartfelt message alongside the post.

A moment that shows a family. Kobe and vanessa and their daughters.

"Today I received this sweet letter from one of Gianna's best friends, Aubrey," Vanessa began in her caption. "I love you Aubz (as my Gigi would call you). Thank you so much for beautifully sharing some of your memories of my Gigi with me and allowing me to share them here on my ig."

She continued, "My Gigi is INCREDIBLE and I truly appreciate your thoughtful letter. She loves you so much. I miss my baby girl and Kob-Kob so much, too. ♥️I will never understand why/how this tragedy could've happened to such beautiful, kind and amazing human beings. It still doesn't seem real. Kob, we did it right. Gigi, you still make mommy proud. I love you!"

Vanessa concluded the post using the hashtags "#PlayGigisWay,"  "#Mambacita,"  "#Mamba,"  "#DaddysGirl" and "#GirlDad."

The emotional note from Aubrey honored Gianna as a friend who pushed Aubrey "to be better," and praised Vanessa as a mother.

"... If I ever become a mother, I hope my daughter turns out exactly as yours did," Aubrey said in the note. "[Gianna's] love of life is something I admire endlessly ... She would smile up the rest of the world."

Later in the letter, Aubrey wrote, "There are times I get into a pit of despair thinking about her and what she could've accomplished had she had a couple more years. But recently I have been thinking about the mark she did leave on this earth. Her fights for equality in sports made the world reconsider there opinions, she along with Mr. Bryant, set the wheels in motion."

Concluding her note, Aubrey told Vanessa that she "did it right" when it came to raising Gianna.

"I am so, so blessed I got to have time with your angel of a daughter, and thank you for giving me that chance," she said, adding, "I love you and am thinking of you as we remember an honor her life."

On the morning of Jan. 26, 2020, Kobe, Gianna and a group of friends — including Sarah and Payton Chester, Christina Mauser, John Altobelli, his wife Keri Altobelli and their daughter, Alyssa Altobelli — were on their way to a basketball game in a helicopter piloted by Ara Zobayan that ultimately crashed in Calabasas, California. At the time, Kobe was 41, and Gianna was 13.

At the time of his death, Kobe was four years into his retirement from the NBA and had positioned himself at the helm of prominent business interests including the basketball camp, the Mamba Sports Academy, and the multimedia agency, Granity Studios, which produced the 2018 Academy Award-winning animated short film, Dear Basketball, and several New York Times best-selling novels.

Kobe Bryant is missed.

"She had the best laugh," Vanessa said at the celebration of life. "It was infectious, it was pure and genuine. Kobe and Gianna naturally gravitated toward each other. "

Vanessa paid tribute to her husband's love of fatherhood, saying, "Kobe was the MVP of girl dads, or MVD. He never left the toilet seat up. He always told the girls how beautiful and smart they are. He taught them how to be brave."

"We loved each other with our whole beings," she continued, "two perfectly imperfect people making a beautiful family and raising our sweet and amazing girls."

Nearly two weeks before the solemn anniversary, Vanessa opened up on Instagram about dealing with grief.

"One day you're in the moment laughing and the next day you don't feel like being alive," she wrote. "I want to say this for people struggling with grief and heartbreaking loss. Find your reason to live. I know it's hard."

"Death is guaranteed but living the rest of the day isn't," Vanessa added. "Find your reason."

The jingle is:

"For the best night sleep in the whole wide world, visit MyPillow.com"

The commercial had swamped your radio and television for years. You seen the My Pillow Guy promoting his American made pillows and urging you a great night's rest.

The pitchman and CEO of the company is Mike Lindell. He had went through a lot of rough patches before he cleaned up his act and became a very famous pitchman and businessman.

Lindell overcame drug abuse and criminal behavior. He turned his life around and became a CEO.

However his success also came with controversy. He became radicalized by the movement of a pitchman, business mogul and reality television star. Liddell became a vocal supporter of Donald J. Trump.

He fiercely defended Trump and even urged him to declare martial law to prevent the certification and inauguration of Joe Biden. He continued to promote baseless claims of voter fraud and felt that the election was stolen from Trump.

He vocally admits that he will not rest until Trump is back in office.

He even supported the deadly chaos at the U.S. Capitol in January.

Now he's finding the rough side of business. The boycott.

Companies are abandoning My Pillow. It was confirmed by Lindell that Kohl's and Bed Bath & Beyond have dropped the brand. There is pressure to have Amazon, Kroger, Walmart, AtHome and other businesses to drop My Pillow.

Lindell also found himself without a Twitter account. It was confirmed on Sunday that Twitter permanently banned Lindell from its platform after he repeatedly violated its civil integrity clause and promoted violence.

Lindell is also being watched by Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube.

Twitter didn’t say which of Lindell’s posts pushed it over the edge. But he had used his personal account and My Pillow’s corporate account in recent months to post and share bogus rumors about widespread election fraud that appeared aimed at undermining President Biden’s victory.

Lindell — who features prominently in My Pillow’s TV ads — has refused to walk back the claims even though they’ve been rejected by courts across the country.

Lindell continued to push bullshit.

Lindell is also in the crosshairs of Dominion Voting Systems. The company is planning on suing him, Fox News and the Trump campaign for pushing baseless claims about their company being involved in voter fraud. Dominion has already sued Rudy Giuliani, L. Linn Wood and Sidney Powell.

Lindell is planning on suing The Daily Mail after the tabloid made the claims that he was secretly dating actress/comedian Jane Krakowski. The two deny dating.

The social media companies are cracking down on misinformation, racism and promotion of violence. The companies are hoping to take steps to ensure they're not encouraging another violent insurrection.

Trump was permanently banned on Twitter shortly after the chaos. He continued to push the narrative the election was stolen and he didn't show empathy nor concern for the chaos. At first, Twitter gave him a 12 hour ban and told him to remove the "We love you. Go home, in peace" video. Shortly after the 12 hour ban, Trump conceded and said he will not attend the inauguration and saying that he and his supporters will not be disrespected. That was flagged as a potential call for violence and Twitter finally banned him.

Trump had over 90 million followers before he got banned.

Trump tried to go around the ban by posting on his @POTUS handle and campaign handle. Twitter halted the POTUS tag until Biden took the oath of office and Trump's multiple accounts were suspended.

The U.S. National Archives now retains his tweets and he's no longer allowed to be on social media. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and TikTok have suspended his accounts indefinitely due to the potential for violence and spread of misinformation.

Dave Chappelle: I Got The Coronavirus!

Dave Chappelle caught the coronavirus despite the "safety" measures.

The famed comedian did not take the coronavirus seriously or did he?

I mean entertainers want to continue to perform their shows at venues in states that have lax rules. The states of Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, South Dakota, Iowa and Alabama act like this is business as usual.

We are approaching 450,000 Americans dead from the coronavirus. The daily deaths are 6,400 a day and people infected by this are extremely high. I am at a point to inform you that we will likely lose a million Americans by April.

We can thank former president Donald J. Trump, Republicans, selfishness and American capitalism for the failures to take control of a pandemic. If we took a moment to consider following safety protocols and wear a damn facial mask, we could bring the infection rates down.

Alas, we won't because we are so fucking stupid.

President Joe Biden wants to have 100 millions Americans vaccinated in his first 100 days.

Dave Chappelle confirms he got the coronavirus after a performance in Texas.

Chappelle was expected to perform Thursday through Sunday at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, Texas. Those shows have been canceled and Chappelle is quarantining, his representative Carla Sims said in a statement. The comedian is asymptomatic.

The entertainer was posing with Elon Musk, Joe Rogan and Grimes in a photo while in Austin. None of them were wearing masks.

Also Chappelle did another photobomb of a married couple while in Texas. The last time he photobombed a couple was a newly engaged couple in his hometown of Yellow Springs, Ohio.

Chappelle rarely takes pictures with people.

The entertainer canceled his shows.

Here's the map.

Here's things to remember about the coronavirus. Revised.

1. Wash your hands frequently. Wash for at least 20 seconds (two Happy Birthday songs).

2. Do not touch your face (mouth, nose and eyes). We have an usual notion to touch our face. I mean it's common to do this. But if you wash your hands and try to not engage with people who may have been exposed to COVID-19, it will prevent you from catching it.

3. Cough into your elbow instead of your hands.

4. Keep a safe distance (at least 6 to 10 feet) from individuals. Businesses are now issuing social distancing and will have the right to refuse service if you're not adhering to the guidelines.

5. If you're sick, please stay home. You could spread the disease to others and trust me, you could face legal ramifications if you're sick and you deliberately showing up to work.

6. There is no treatment or cure for the COVID-19. A vaccine is being made. It could prevent future spread if issued right. Vaccines are officially greenlighted distribution. The vaccines will be going to first responders and those who care for the elderly. Please have patience, the vaccine will be distributed in three phases. The elderly, the first responders, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and several lawmakers will be treated first. Those with serious medical conditions. The final ones will be younger and those who at least are healthy.

7. Follow state and federal laws regarding this. Some states have relaxed regulations but that doesn't mean you're fully able to return to normal life. You have to stay vigilant and remind yourself that you can still catch this despite social distancing and safe sanitation practices. States like Florida, Texas, South Dakota and Alabama are very relaxed. Please use caution when traveling to these states and the U.S. territories of Guam and Puerto Rico.

8. Do not hoard items like toilet paper, disinfectants, paper towels, facial masks, milk, eggs, bread, gloves, hand sanitizer, etc.

9. Use social media like Facebook Messenger, Alexa, Meet, Zoom, Google Duo, Skype or social media to connect.

10. COVID-19 can live on surfaces for more than 72 hours. Including steel, plastic and cardboard. There are new strains that are detected in the United Kingdom, Brazil and South Africa. The variants are considered deadlier. The new variant could be resistant to medications and the vaccines.

11. A pandemic has no timeline. We can't magically say that the pandemic is over when the infection rate is still high. We just can't return to normal until it is determined that the infection rate has decreased. The coronavirus is being studied and documented by scientists. They are trying to figure out how to combat this.

12. COVID-19 doesn't care about borders. The coronavirus spreads from human to human contact. We have no confirmation on how it made it to the United States. Don't believe what Trump, Republicans and far-right agitators says about it coming from China. It was detected in China, then Italy and our first confirmed case was in January 2020 in the United States. We probably had thousands of people affected in 2019 and we just didn't know it. Quit calling it the "China Virus" and the "Kung-Flu." It's offensive and xenophobic and racist.

Chappelle rarely takes pictures. So it's apparent the entertainer didn't take the coronavirus seriously.

13. If you deliberately infect other individuals, food and first responders, you will be charged with crime. So if people are trying to cough on you, sneeze on you, lick food products, lick toilet seats and refuse to wear masks where its required, they could face criminal charges. This is a controversial issue because some believe the mask isn't protecting them and some don't care about you or your family's health.

14. If you notice someone or you having signs of bluish lips or face, inability to wake or stay awake, new confusion, persistent pain in the chest, trouble breathing or blood in cough, call 9-1-1. There are mobile testing sites in your community but always check with a doctor first before getting a test at a public center. Most doctors will not take you openly without facial protection and confirmed symptoms.

15. Not all symptoms of COVID-19 are confirmed or denied. New issues keep showing up. So don't believe everything you've heard. The most common symptoms are noted above. Also please note that asymptomatic individuals are folks who have no symptoms but are spreading. Those are folks who look normal but have it and not showing signs yet.

16. Retail is now mandating workers and shoppers to wear facial protection. If you are continuing to not follow company policies when it comes to wearing facial protection, you can be banned from their establishment. Walmart, Kroger, Target, Whole Foods, Best Buy and other companies are now requiring facial protection in their businesses. MANY BUSINESSES ARE WARNING CUSTOMERS THAT ENGAGING IN DELIBERATE ATTEMPTS OF NOT WEARING FACIAL PROTECTION AND FILMING WITHOUT CONSENT WILL LEAD TO LAWSUITS AND POSSIBLE PERMANENT EXPULSION FROM ENTRY.

Chappelle photobombs newlyweds in Austin, Texas. That was before he caught the coronavirus.

17. Have patience with those in the healthcare industry, service industry and law enforcement. They are operating at limited staff. Those who work at restaurants, casinos, media companies, landscaping, construction and first responders are working to serve and help you. But note, that they are putting themselves at risk as well of catching the coronavirus. Respect those who have to work in this. There are companies working on producing a vaccine. They will produce a vaccine that is safe and effective before usage. See 19.

18. Some hand sanitizers are considered dangerous to your health. Methanol-based hand sanitizer could be toxic to those with weaken immune systems or allergies. The Food and Drug Administration have warned of methanol contamination. Some products made in Mexico and China may be dangerous. There are some people ingesting hand sanitizer. See 19.

19. Please do not ingest or inject sanitizer, bleach or hydroxychloroquine into your body. There is no cure for the coronavirus. Scientists are working on creating a safe vaccine to treat the coronavirus.

20. Hold your state and federal lawmakers accountable for not taking the threat seriously. The reasons to why Trump loss was his failure to take control of the pandemic. He also caught the coronavirus. Trump deliberately ignored the threat. In a series of audiotapes produced by the Washington Post's Bob Woodward, Trump was warned about the threat from the jump. He downplayed it because he didn't want to lose the trade deal and force Americans to take precautions. In March 2020, Trump had declared the pandemic was in effect and since first detection one year ago, we now have over 450,000 Americans dead and over 50 million infected. We are expected to lose 1 million Americans. As the Democrats take control of both chambers of Congress, the Republican lawmakers continues to run this "repeal and replace" the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and refuse to work with President Joe Biden to pass COVID-19 relief because of their stupid principles. It's important that you get go out and vote. The Republicans continue to push conspiracies and misinformation. It will lead to another deadly insurrection.

21. THE MASK DOESN'T IMPALE BREATHING! YOU CAN FUCKING BREATHE THROUGH A MASK! THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF A MASK BEING A THREAT TO THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF THOSE WEARING THEM PROPERLY. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR THE MASK ABOVE YOUR NOSE AND COVER COMPLETELY YOUR CHIN.

22. YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID! MISINFORMATION IS PROBABLY THE MOST DANGEROUS THING TO DEAL WITH WHEN IT COMES TO A PANDEMIC.

According to the CDC, there is still not enough information on antibodies for COVID-19 and whether they can prevent someone from getting reinfected. It still recommends that people with a positive antibody test follow recommendations for protecting themselves and others.

The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about your business, your performances, your personal finances and travel.  It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.

Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19.

Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!

The House Delivers The Articles Of Impeachment To The Senate!

The Republicans are going to get a wake up call in 2022 if they don't pull their heads out their asses. They better get use to the new norms.

The U.S. House of Representatives has presented its article of impeachment against Donald J. Trump to the Senate, a step that formally sets in motion the Senate trial against the former United States president, which is expected to start next month.

Republicans are divided over the impeachment, with some senators saying Trump should be held accountable for the Capitol riot and others fearing a conviction of the former Republican president could be damaging for the party.

Some Republican legislators have argued that holding an impeachment trial after Trump has left office is unconstitutional – a claim that has been rejected by Democrats and some U.S. experts.

Walking from one side of the U.S. Capitol to the other, nine House managers appointed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi hand-delivered the impeachment document to the Senate on Monday evening.

The article charged Trump with “incitement of insurrection” in relation to the deadly storming on January 6 of the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, DC by a mob of his supporters.

The House impeached Trump on January 13 on the same charge – making him the first president in U.S. history to be impeached twice.

Former president Donald J. Trump has lots of time on his miserable hands. He can continue to golf at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), a constitutional scholar and one of the House managers who will be acting as prosecutors in the Senate trial against Trump, read the article of impeachment out loud to the upper house on Monday.

“President Trump repeatedly issued false statements asserting that the presidential election results were the product of widespread fraud, and should not be accepted by the American people, or certified by state or federal officials,” Raskin said.

The formal step kickstarts the trial phase of the impeachment process, in which all 100 senators will sit as jurors to hear evidence and legal arguments from the House managers and Trump’s defence team.

To be convicted, the Senate must secure a two-thirds majority on the impeachment charge.

If that happens, a subsequent vote could bar Trump from running for public office again in the future.

The trial will begin on February 8. The Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has said that he will allow two weeks to go through so President Joe Biden gets his Cabinet filled.

Trump now has to find defense attorneys willing to help him avoid conviction.

The Republicans are going to get a wake up call in 2022 if they don't pull their heads out their asses. They better get use to the new norms.

U.S. senator Rob Portman of Ohio announces he will retire. It sets the stage for a very competitive race in a state that lean more Republican.

One of the moderate Republicans in the U.S. Senate, Portman served the senate seat since 2011. He was then a U.S. lawmaker from Cincinnati and U.S. Trade Representative and White House Budget Director under George W. Bush.

On Monday, Portman announced his decision not to run in 2022 with his wife Jane in tow.

He made his decision at the Hilton Netherland Plaza in downtown Cincinnati.

Portman said that the insurrection and the partisan bullshit were factors for his decision to retire from the U.S. Senate.

He said he will serve out his term until January 2023.

He hopes to be remembered for the legislation he passed and urged his fellow colleagues to work together for the betterment of America.

I'll remember him for being a part of the obstructionists in the Senate. He will be remembered for siding with Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in denying Barack Obama's third nominee Merrick Garland a place on the Supreme Court. I'll remember him voting for Donald J. Trump's third nominee Amy Coney Barrett despite the previous president having the same amount of time to replace a judicial nominee.

Mitch McConnell will now have to fight to return to the majority.

I'll remember Portman for the dirty politics he's been a part of in the state of Ohio.

I'll remember him for not support gun reforms in the wake of the mass shootings in Cincinnati and Dayton. I'll remember him for not taking a stance in the wake of police shootings of people of color.

I'll remember him for supporting the definition of marriage (the man and woman union) and rejecting same sex marriage while having a son who is openly gay.

I'll remember him for not taking a stance on children being detained in cages and being stripped from their families.

I'll remember him for supporting the controversial decision to move the American embassy to Israel. Portman doesn't value the human rights of Palestinians and people who worship Islam.

Trump and Portman had a great relationship. He voted for Trump's Supreme Court nominees.

I'll remember him being a "country club Republican." A Republican who lives in the gated community and never once in his life ever visited a neighborhood where a person of color lives.

So he makes his statements on Monday.

"If we just keep pushing out to the right and to the left, there's not oging to be much left in the middle to solve the real problems we face," Portman said.

Over 30 years of public service is enough. He said that incivility in politics and the partisan divide has kept Washington, DC in consistent gridlock.

Portman who is expected to hear the trial of the former president will not commit to an answer whether he convicts or acquit him. He stood with the Republicans in supporting not removing him from office in 2020.

Portman getting sworn in by Biden.

Now who may run for the seat. There's talk that six Republicans and five Democrats are vying for the seat.

Republicans who may jump in include: Lt. Governor Jon Husted, Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH), Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose and Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH).

Democrats who may jump in include: Rep. Tim Ryan (R-OH), former Ohio Democratic leader David Pepper, outgoing Dayton mayor Nan Whaley and Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH).

Ohio is likely Republican.

Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) was the only Democrat to win his election in 2018 when the Republicans swept the statehouse, the governor's home and maintained it's Congressional Districts.

The New York Police Department are investigating an incident involving a brutal attack of a woman outside a bodega in Harlem. The woman was attacked because she did not want to contribute to the delinquency of minors.

The 31-year old woman who wishes to remain anonymous, had entered a Harlem bodega to make a purchase when three young men asked her to retrieve a liquor for them, according to ABC News.

After politely declining to do so, she was followed and subsequently attacked right outside the store.

A surveillance camera captured the attack. The woman says she was punched, kicked and her face was bitten. "I was mauled, this is more than being bitten," she said.

Allegedly, the attacker tried to bite her eye out.

The attack happened at a liquor store.

NBC News reports that the attack also left her exposed to COVID-19. The attacker spit on during the attack.

"I couldn't believe it, it was like an animal," she said. "That's the only way I can put it, it was like an animal."

According to the NYPD, the woman had her iPhone stolen which totaled $750.

The police are looking at the tape and are looking at three suspects.

It sparked outrage and protests in Harlem. On Saturday, a group of residents took to the streets in protests demanding justice and accountability for the victim.

They were chanting:

PROTECT BLACK WOMEN!

The activist group, SAVE (Stand Against Violence East Harlem) is urging the community start protecting residents in the neighborhood.

These attackers will eventually be caught.

The suspects are going to be charged with aggravated assault, robbery, loitering and theft of property. They could face up to 10 years in the iron college if convicted.

The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

This is the latest incident where Black women are under assault. To see that woman be attacked is horrific and disgusting. I hope these attackers are caught and prosecuted to the fullest.

I normally take a neutral stance because I believe in a fair trial and the proof of innocence. But the camera shows the attackers. It's on them if they're caught and convicted.
