The attack was caught on film and it went viral. The person, Shane Michael Stanton was booked in Franklin County lockup on aggravated assault. The victim Timothy Adams said that he wants the charges dropped.
Stanton is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Traverse City Police had to put Michael Peters in the cannon and fire his pasty ass out after he was caught on camera taunting protesters. He was in his big pickup truck and he was flying the flag of the losing side of the Civil War.
The 18-year veteran was caught driving his Dodge Ram at a Black Lives Matter rally. In the wake of the controversial billionaire/racist/sexist/reality television star's surprise election win, White folks are now freely expressing the things they've normally said in the comfort of their homes.
Well the police force wasn't thrilled about his counter-protest. They forced him to out by saying he resigned from the force.
Traverse City manage Marty Colburn says that Peters apologized to the community "for the stain he put on the city" and the city's police department. Colburn thinks that Peters is sincere.
No it's because he got death threats from people. That's why he was forced to apologize for his behavior. He didn't all of sudden say, "damn I didn't mean to be a racist. I was just kidding."
Peters was also caught on camera drinking a beer while parked in a no parking zone. Yet, he got time in the time in the freezer with pocket change.
Marshall Collins, a protester at the rally said that his actions reflect a bias in how he conducts police and civilian encounters. His actions while on the beat were probably singling out Black and Hispanic residents of Traverse City.
"He is a role model and that's what he should be displaying here," said Collins.
"My confrontation was why you would bring that here, knowing what that stands for. Why would you bring that here? The fear that flag instills in me, the fear that flag has put in me and other people like me, why would you choose to display that?"
Collins then went on to say: "To see him, knowing that he's a cop, knowing that he's out there to protect and serve, knowing that I have to look over my back for someone like that in our community and our department, it scares me and it scares my family."
White folks are now openly attacking Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, immigrants, women, those in the LGBT community and progressives protesting the election.

A city director for the Clay, West Virginia Development Corporation called First Lady Michelle Obama an "ape in heels." The posting got a thumbs up from the mayor of the city, Beverly Whaling.
"It will be so refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady back in the White House," wrote Pamela Ramsey Taylor.
The post was screenshot and shared through the web. It went viral. Not for the woman posting this shit, but the Whaling saying, "Just made my day Pam." She commented under the original post.
NAACP state director Owens Brown slammed the disparaging message and said that "there's no place for these types of attitudes in our state."
"Unfortunately this is a reality that we are dealing with today," he added.

An online petition says that both women, who appear to have deleted their Facebook pages, should lose their jobs for the "hateful, racially motivated statement."

The mostly White jury and the Ohio judge declared a mistrial in the case of Ray Tensing, the former University of Cincinnati Police officer accused of murdering motorist Sam DuBose.
The jury was unable to reach a verdict for Tensing who was charged with voluntary manslaughter.
DuBose was being pulled over for missing a front plate. The incident was caught on body camera. It shows Tensing at point blank range shot DuBose in the face before the car accelerated and crashed.
Tensing tried to get his fellow officers to lie for him and he concocted this notion that "he feared for his life" when DuBose closed the door and accelerated the car. He tried to make DuBose's criminal past an issue. They tried to use his 13 children as an excuse for bad behavior.
The jury of 10 White people and two Blacks had a task of weighing whether the shooting was a justifiable use of force or Tensing feared for his life.
Cincinnati's mayor John Cranley knows the bubble is brewing. He is none to happy about the election. He is expecting the tension to increase knowing that Tensing is out on bail.
Now Republican prosecutor Joe Deters will now figure out if another trial could go forth. It would be highly unlikely Tensing could be convicted. If the jury actually convicted him, he would have 15 to LIFE in the iron college.
This incident keeps reminding me about how police officers are allowed to get away with murder.
They can lie about the incident, play the victim and make the victim the one on trial.
Of course, in 2001, Timothy Thomas was gunned down by Stephen Roach in the dark alleys of Cincinnati. Roach was spooked by Thomas running through the alleys. He shot him on sight.
It sparked a week of unrest n the city and a Black economic boycott.

That includes American born men and women who freely head to Mecca for a religious gathering. He mocked a man with disabilities. He said that he loves to grab women by the pussy because he rich and powerful. He has retweeted anti-semitic and racist tweets. He went onto kookspiracy shows like Alex Jones. He got his talking points from Sean "Softball" Hannity and the folks over at Fox News.
He picked an Indiana governor who supported discrimination towards LGBT citizens.
Yeah, he shocked the world by winning the presidency. Now he's going to know what it's like being the President of the United States. They're no breaks and no time off. It's 24/7 job.
It may get worse once he takes office.
Matter of fact, I expect he will get a lot of death threats and threats of assassination.
This election has made America more divided.

Until January 20th, I will not worry about the transition period or whomever the Republicans happen to line up for the leadership. I will not worry about the Democrats or their leaders.

We've lost a legend.
Gwen Ifill, the host of PBS NewsHour had passed away today of cancer. She was 61 years old. A remarkable woman of color who covered Washington, DC like no other. She was at the forefront of a journalism vanguard as a Black woman in a field dominated by white men.
She co-hosted NewsHour with Judy Woodruff and broke ground by being an all-female anchor team on a network nightly news.
Gwen was the daughter of Caribbean immigrants. She wanted to cover the news since the younger ages. She was a native of New York City. She grew up in Jamaica, Queens. She was the fifth of six children.
She was the host of Washington Week and worked both positions. She had an opportunity to gain national recognition as a debate moderator.
She hosted two vice presidential debates. She hosted the 2004 debate between then Vice President Dick Cheney and then senator John Edwards. She also had an opportunity to host the 2008 debate between then senator Joe Biden and then Alaskan governor Sarah Palin.
Back in 2007, bigot talker Don Imus was caught up in scandal where he called the Rutgers women's basketball team a bunch of "nappy headed hos". He called Gwen Ifill the "cleaning lady".
She handled this with such class.
She had covered the White House and Congress and was praised from both sides of the political aisle.
She took a month long leave from PBS without disclosing her medical condition. I am guessing she had terminal uterine cancer.

Chappelle hits it off. He first address the unrest in Portland, Oregon and compare it to the fatal police encounters of Black men in Charlotte, Milwaukee, Baltimore and Ferguson. He says it is sort of a double standard for Whites when it comes to protesting injustices.
Dave Chappelle opening monologue went viral. I mean it's touched nerves and it gave an honest truth about the election in the Black and White prospective.
"I didn't know that Donald Trump was going to win the election. I did suspect it. Seemed like Hillary [Clinton] was doing well in the polls and yet .... I know the whites. You guys aren't as full as you used to be. America has done it. We've actually elected an internet troll as our president."
As he addressed the Portland protests, he remarked the following: " I watched the white riot in Portland on television the other night. The news said they did $1 million worth of damage. Every black person was watching it like, 'Amateurs'," said Chappelle.
In regards to 1/3 of Clinton supporters saying they will not respect President Trump, he said:
"I'm staying out it. I'm just going to take a knee like [Colin] Kaepernick and let the whites figure this out amongst themselves".
Classic.
Chapelle even brought out his inspiration, Chris Rock to perform in a skit involving angry Clinton supporters.
Rep. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), Attorney General Kamala Harris and former Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto were elected to the Senate. The Senate now has a record number of women in office.
While I have taken a moment away from the political dogfights, I happen to at least smile knowing that Democrats scored a little success post election.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL). Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH). Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO), Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) survive their reelection bids. They continue to be fixtures in an already broken Washington. And they continue to build their political fortunes on being the party still stuck in the past.
The night was bad for the Dems. But on a positive note, Democrats managed to keep a hold on Nevada, California and pick off New Hampshire and Illinois.
Rep. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), California Attorney General Kamala Harris, New Hampshire governor Maggie Hassan, and former Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto were elected to the Senate.
Duckworth an Iraq war veteran quadruple amputee will be the second Asian American woman elected to the senate. She served as U.S. Representative for three terms. She was a sure favorite among Democrats in the state. Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) made the fatal error of telling a racially insensitive joke in the face of an Army veteran. Duckworth's father is White and her mother is from Thailand.
Harris is the current Attorney General of California. She beat Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) in a competitive but yet historical fight for the seat once occupied by Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA). Harris is part Indian-American and African American. She will be the third of both Asian and Black race serving in the senate.
Catherine Cortez Masto was the former Attorney General of Nevada. She would beat Rep. Joe Heck (R-NV) in a very competitive seat being vacated by outgoing Minority Leader, Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV). Cortez Masto's parents are immigrants from Mexico and she's passionate about the rights of immigrants. She will be the first Latina elected to the senate.
Governor Maggie Hassan is the current governor of New Hampshire. She fended off a formidable opponent in Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH). The race was heavily favored for Ayotte. Even I was off the point. Matter of fact, most pollsters were really off on each election. I mean it was a nail biter to say at least.
Look Democrats were outmatched. Plain and simple. Republicans have such disdain for President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and it was pretty easy for President-elect Trump to overwhelmingly win the majority of Republicans.
I am pleased to see that the senate isn't just full of old White people.
