Katrina 10!

The worst natural disaster in American history happened in 2005.

World News Today send our condolences to those lost in this horrific tragedy.

On August 29th, 2005, the costliest and most deadliest natural disaster hit the Gulf Coast cities of New Orleans, Slidell. Gulfport, and Biloxi.

Over 1,940 people have lost their lives to such a destructive force of nature.

The hurricane was retired as a name. The impact was felt throughout the nation and the world. It gave the public a negative perception of leadership. It sealed a legacy of failure caused by the lack of government response to handle a catastrophe.

Hurricane Katrina started August 23rd in the Atlantic. The hurricane hit the Caribbean nations first. It landed on the southern tier of Florida. As the hurricane grew in the Gulf of Mexico, the hurricane strengthen into a category 5 storm. When it crashed on Louisiana shore line, it was a disastrous category 3 storm.

The impact caused the collapse of the levee system in New Orleans. People stranded in the city were force to find food by looting businesses. The city was swamped. People were crying for help.

A handful of residents were forced to take refuge in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

It lead to 85% of New Orleans to be flooded by the waters of Lake Pontchartrain, the Mississippi River and the canals.

President George W. Bush took the most heat. His failure to handle this crisis doomed his second term. He was on his annual vacation when this happened. The perception of ignoring a crisis came full circle when he finally made it out to New Orleans. The last time he caught flack was when September 11th happened in 2001. Many people rallied behind Bush during this crisis. But this time, it wasn't the case.

Of course, FEMA was active in New Orleans. But due to the Bush pledge of limited government, the organization couldn't muster enough relief to the victims. A handful of residents of New Orleans were poor. They couldn't afford flood insurance. So when the storm washed away their homes, they were left without a chance to rebuild.

FEMA's then chief Michael Brown took the fall. When FEMA's top workers were scrambled they didn't have the experience to deal with a wide scale disaster such as this. Bush would utter "Heck of a job Brownie" response. That would be words of infamy. blamed the government and the extreme partisanship by his fellow Republicans for the disaster. The White House denied it.

Matter of fact, the impact got Kathleen Blanco to not seek reelection for the governorship.
Bush's Katrina.
Who suffered the most was C. Ray Nagin, then mayor of New Orleans. He was the most passionate of the leadership. Matter of fact, he was so passionate about the victims, he made the infamous declaration of failure on national television.

The government was unaware of the massive kickbacks and political corruption at the time. Nagin was taking steps to collect $$$$$ so his family could rebuilt and he can live the live of luxury. Nagin was indicted by the feds and found guilty in corruption. He is serving a dime in federal time out.

Bush's legacy went down in flames. It paved the way for Barack Obama to become the president.

Since Katrina, the government made it top priority to get things right.

Well ten years later, a long road ahead.

President Barack Obama, former president George W. Bush and members of Congress visit areas worst hit by the hurricane.

The historic Ninth Ward is still a long way to go. But hopefully, the government can rebuild this great city back to its glory.

Tyga's Ride Broke Down In West Kardashian!

The junk food media believe T-Raww is dating a gold digger. His relationship with Kylie Jenner is destroying his funds.

The embattled rapper is going broke fast. His controversial relationship with celebrity agitator Kylie Jenner is costing him money. Many believe that he can't afford the luxury. Now that he's at odds with Cash Money Records, he has no meal ticket.

Tyga with Blac Chyna and their child.
The meal ticket was the $20 million signing bonus. When he put his label on blast for delaying the Last Kings: The 18th Dynasty Album, he took to the internet to blast the label. The label CEO Bryan "Birdman" Williams told Tyga and Lil' Wayne (by whom he's feuding with as well), that you'll be "blackballed" if you fuck with the money.

Sure enough, Tyga got blackballed. Now that's he's fired from the label, he will have to managed to make hits on his own. He can't crawl back after burning bridges.

He sure did. The album was quietly released in June and pulled in a measly 3,500 copies sold. Even his collaboration album with Chris Brown (Fan of a Fan) managed to get in 135,000 copies sold.

Those two albums were considered flops. And now that he ain't got the back up from Drake and Nicki Minaj, it's pretty much him and the always busy Kanye West.

West is prepping for his new album and his second child with his wife, the infamous celebrity agitator Kim Kardashian-West.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Tyga (Michael Ray Nyguen Stevenson) is worth $5 million.

Okay. He just blew a lot on a ride for Kylie. He bought a $350,000 whip on lease. So it may be a temporary ride. He was forced to owe up on his home. The court ruled that he best fork over $100K or face punitive damages. He also owes back child support for King Cairo, his son with ex-wife Blac Chyna. He also owes that state of California.

He and his girl Kylie were wasting the much needed H2O. California has a stern rationing ordinance in effect after numerous years of drought. Many entertainers and lawmakers have to follow the rules or be fined heavily.
Tyga's much talked about relationship with Kylie Jenner is confirmed. He is officially dating the 18 year old celebrity agitator. He once claimed that he wants to "knock her up". How much money will that cost him?
Tyga is no exception. He will have to owe up for traffic violations as well.

Damn. It seems like people are clowning on T-Raww. I am not surprised. He bit the hand that fed him and burned so many bridges. Now he's getting blackballed.

Drake destroyed his career. Drake managed to destroy the gangsta images of Meek Mill and Tyga.

Now I've heard that Tyga got a reality television show on MTV2 while his baby mama Blac Chyna is working with Amber Rose on a reality television show on MTV.

Ouch. His baby mama got a better gig than he did.

This is result of being blackballed in the junk food media.

Is Tyga dating a gold digger?

Welcome to West Kardashian.

Zimmerman: Obama's A Baboon!

Zimmerman  (right) returns to the spotlight. He teams up with a gun store that bans Muslims and Obama supporters. He paints a confederate flag painting. He blast the president in the wake of the tragedy in Roanoke, VA.

I really must have been tired. I could of sworn that an infamous figure in the Black Lives Matter movement returns back to the spotlight.

In the wake of the shooting deaths of WDBJ's Alison Parker and Adam Ward, the Sanford, FL man who killed Trayvon Martin speaks out against BLM and President Barack Obama.

It seems like the ever temperamental George Zimmerman goes to the social media to do a victory lap.

He managed to survive a near fatal shooting. He managed to avoid the iron college in the death of Trayvon, the physical assault of his wife Shellie, his girlfriend Samantha Scheibe and numerous run-ins with the legal woes.

According to the junk food media, this was the alleged account of Zimmerman. He went off about the president's "rush to judgement" on gun control. He blamed Black Lives Matter, and event went as far to throw a racial insult at the president.

A few added racial nuggets.

It's also reported that Zimmerman had teamed up with a gun store owner who bans Muslims and Obama supporters from his store.

Remember that Zimmerman has no regrets for killing an unarmed Trayvon Martin. He threatens people online and public. This piece of shit is daring the public to take him down.

Added a Chicago cop is under investigation for unprofessional conduct that could put him in sensitivity training. The officer pulled over a car with black men inside, and during a heated confrontation, one of them said, “We don’t trust y’all. You heard about Mike Brown.”

The officer in the video responded, “Mike Brown deserved it.” The man shot back, “Mike Brown should've shot his ass in the face.”

The Chicago PD got wind of the video and, according to CBS Chicago, opened an internal affairs investigation. A spokesman said, “CPD prides itself on fostering productive relationships with communities to help make Chicago safer. The comments in this video are troubling and do not represent the views of this department.”

Darryl "Chocolate Thunder" Dawkins Passed Away!

The famed Chocolate Thunder, Darryl Dawkins passed away.

The legend of Chocolate Thunder. The famed dunking center would often break the glass when he done them dunks. He earned the name from R&B legend Stevie Wonder.

The name stuck, and the rim-wrecking, glass-shattering dunks remain unforgettable — as will the giant of a man who changed the game with them. Darryl Dawkins died Thursday at a hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania, according to the Lehigh County coroner's office. He was 58, and even though officials said an autopsy would be performed on Friday his family released a statement saying the cause of death was a heart attack.

"Darryl touched the hearts and spirits of so many with his big smile and personality, ferocious dunks, but more than anything, his huge, loving heart," his family said. "His family, wife Janice, children Dara, Tabitha, Nicholas and Alexis, along with countless family, friends, and fans, all mourn his loss.

"More than anything Darryl accomplished in his basketball career as the inimitable 'Chocolate Thunder,' he was most proud of his role and responsibility as a husband and father," his family added.

Dawkins, the first player to go from high school into the first round of the NBA draft, spent parts of 14 seasons in the NBA with Philadelphia, New Jersey, Utah and Detroit. He averaged 12 points and 6.1 rebounds in 726 career regular-season games.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said Dawkins was "beloved around the league."
He was a beloved player said NBA commissioner Adam Silver.
"The NBA family is heartbroken by the sudden and tragic passing of Darryl Dawkins," Silver said. "We will always remember Darryl for his incredible talent, his infectious enthusiasm and his boundless generosity. He played the game with passion, integrity and joy, never forgetting how great an influence he had on his legions of fans, young and old."

Dawkins was, by any measure, a character. His love for the game was unquestioned and unwavering — he appeared at an 76ers alumni event earlier this month and recently posted a photo to his Twitter account of him coaching a summer-league girls team.

Dawkins was as revered off the court as he was on it. He remained enormously popular after his playing days were done, even during his stint as a member of the Harlem Globetrotters. He would name his dunks — the "look out below," the "yo-mama" and the "rim wrecker" among them — and often boasted that he hailed from the "Planet Lovetron."

In actuality, he was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, growing up impoverished with dreams of giving his mother and grandmother better lives.

"A great man, entertainer, athlete and ferocious dunker," former NBA guard Kevin Johnson wrote on Twitter. "He will be missed but not forgotten."

Injuries plagued Dawkins late in his NBA career, and he went overseas for several more years to play in the Italian league. He also briefly had stints in the Continental Basketball Association and the International Basketball Association. He also coached at times, at both the minor-league and junior-college levels.

He averaged double digits in nine consecutive NBA seasons, with his best year likely being the 1983-84 campaign for New Jersey. He averaged a career-best 16.8 points that year, with only foul trouble — 386 that season, still a league record — holding him back.

"Darryl Dawkins is the father of power dunking," Shaquille O'Neal once said. "I'm just one of his sons."

Many across the country expressed their thoughts to a great legend. World News Today send our condolences to the family of Darryl "Chocolate Thunder" Dawkins.

Amelia Boynton Robinson Passed Away!

Amelia Boynton Robinson passed away.

With great sadness we've heard that Amelia Boynton Robinson passed away at the age of 104.

Amelia fought for Civil Rights during the turbulent times of the 1960s. She was a key figure of the Selma to Montgomery march. She and John Lewis suffered a beat down by the White bigots who tried to silence their peaceful march.

Amelia Boynton Robinson was an American activist who was a leader of the American Civil Rights Movement.

Amelia was among those beaten during the voting rights march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, in March 1965 that became known as "Bloody Sunday." State troopers teargased and clubbed the marchers as they tried to cross the bridge. A newspaper photo showing Boynton Robinson, who had been beaten unconscious, drew wide attention to the movement.

Fifty years later, Barack Obama, the first black president of the United States, pushed her across the span in a wheelchair during a commemoration.

Amelia who was hospitalized in July after having a major stroke, turned 104 on Aug. 18. Her son said she had been living in Tuskegee and was hospitalized in Montgomery. Boynton Robinson's family said in a written statement that she was surrounded by relatives and friends when she died around 2:20 a.m.
Selma this year. President Barack Obama holds hands with Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) and Amelia Boynton Robinson.
In January, Boynton Robinson attended the State of the Union address as a special guest of Democratic Alabama Rep. Terri Sewell, who said Boynton's 1964 run for Congress paved the way for her. Sewell is Alabama's first elected black congresswoman. Boynton was the first woman to run on a Democratic ticket in Alabama and the first black woman to run for Congress in the state, according to the Encyclopedia of Alabama.

"Mrs. Boynton Robinson suffered grave injustices on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma at the hands of state troopers on Bloody Sunday, yet she refused to be intimidated," Sewell said in January. "She marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, my colleague Rep. John Lewis and thousands of others from Selma to Montgomery and ultimately witnessed the day when their work led to the passage of the historic Voting Rights Act of 1965."

World News Today send our condolences to the family of Amelia Boynton Robinson. You are a hero to the movement for change. You fought for me to be here.

Blame Game: Alison Parker Murder!

Murder of news reporter sparks the blame game.

WHO WILL TAKE THE BLAME FOR THE DEATH OF TWO NEWS REPORTERS?

A) BARACK OBAMA
B) BLACK LIVES MATTER
C) NRA
D) CONGRESS
E) THE SHOOTER
F) ALL OF THESE ABOVE

Okay if you're picking E as the answer, then you're right. But if you're pointing the blame at the other entities, then you've proven my point. You would find blame with entities that have nothing to do with the situation.

Some are quick to point fingers at other entities instead of the shooter. The fault lies solely on the shooter. Not the president, not protesters, not a gun lobbyist group, not lawmakers.

They have a role to do something about it. But it won't bring back the millions of victims killed by gun violence.

The racist right is so quick to blame Black Lives Matter by using the All Lives Matter hashtag.

For the very fact that this issue now became a partisan event is truly frustrating. The BLM protesters are pissed that the junk food media and conservative agitators are using this event to undermine their concerns.

The point of Black Lives Matter ahem is the need to have better policing, open up about criminal activities and denouncing the media's tactics on smearing unarmed suspects and innocent victims of gun violence by the hands of the law.

The WDBJ 7 family and the nation is mourning the loss of anchor Alison Parker and her cameraman Adam Ward. The terrorist Vester Flanagan (Bryce Williams) shot Alison, Adam and Vicki Gardner at point blank range. He managed to escape authorities for a moment. But when cornered he put the bullet to his head.

ABC News got a manifesto from the terrorist. He admits that he had anger issues. He blames WDBJ for his firing. He said that he's a gay Black man who was harassed by staffers and the victims.
The terrorist was angry about being fired. He claims that he was a target of gay insults and racism.
He said that he was motivated by the Virginia Tech mass killer, Seung Hui Cho, calls him “his boy,” and expresses admiration for the Columbine High School killers. “Also, I was influenced by Seung–Hui Cho. That’s my boy right there. He got NEARLY double the amount that Eric Harris and Dylann Klebold got…just sayin.'"

In an often rambling letter to the authorities, and family and friends, he writes of a long list of grievances. In one part of the document, Williams calls it a “Suicide Note for Friends and Family."

He says has suffered racial discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying at work.

He says he has been attacked by black men and white females.

He talks about how he was attacked for being a gay, black man.

“Yes, it will sound like I am angry...I am. And I have every right to be. But when I leave this Earth, the only emotion I want to feel is peace....”

“The church shooting was the tipping point…but my anger has been building steadily...I’ve been a human powder keg for a while…just waiting to go BOOM!!!!”

He said that he gotten racial insults. He was inspired by mass shooters. He felt that if he could do more damage, he would be recognized.

The junk food media can confirm that he's dead.

Here's one of Alison's pictures from social media.

This event was captured on live television. Many viewers happen to see the reaction and the blood curling screams of Alison after this terror began firing upon her.

Now I said this many times. Every day there is a gun crime in America.

2,000 people are shot by firearms a day. 44 people died by firearms a day.

This event won't get Congress to push for tougher gun restrictions. I am a gun owner and I surely want gun control, police reform and accountability towards illegal gun purchases.

Let's take a look at the social media. DeRay McKesson, the activist for the Black Lives Matter movement immediately took to social media to send his condolences.

Then of course, Rev. Perm responds to social media and his radio program.

Then let's look at the Gateway Pundit (aka dumbass Jim Hoft). He is already using this to push his anti-Black agenda.

Then let's look at few of the BLM reactions to the death of Alison and Adam.

The rational continue to let the world know about gun violence in the United States.

Then of course, conservatives blame Obama, Black Lives Matter or concern troll about fetuses and Black on whatever crime.

What makes me think that our country is doomed is the fact that no one seems to understand that blame should automatically go to the shooter.

The shooter was upset over being fired from a job. He had mental issues. He had legal access to firearms. He wanted to get revenge on people who he claimed hurt his chances at success.

He created his own faults. That is not the responsibility of the president, the activists, the conservative and liberal agitators or the media. He could have gotten help. He could have an opportunity to work for other venues if he would have tried. But he just felt that he got the short end of the stick. He snapped.

The nice guy is the most dangerous person with a gun. They don't care who they kill. If they were spurned, expect revenge to be served.

To all of those who blame Obama, Black Lives Matter or whatever, that's your opinion. It hasn't stopped the movement. It hasn't stopped the president from pushing gun control. Matter of fact, your responses may have created more supporters.

Again World News Today send our condolences to Alison Parker and Adam Ward. We also send our condolences to Marcy Borders, Jamyla Bolden, and Mansur Ball-Bey.

Marcy Borders Passed Away!

The iconic photo of the dusty lady. Marcy Borders didn't know she was filmed. It was confirmed by her family that Marcy died of cancer.

The iconic picture of a Black woman covered head to toe with dust from the horrific tragedy on September 11, 2001 passed away from stomach cancer.

Marcy Borders who became a groundbreaking image of the horrors of that day.

She was on her way to her job at the World Trade Center when reports of an explosion at the North Tower. Like most people at the WTC, not many people were aware of the event. Some didn't expect it to happen that fast. The second plane would crash into the South Tower.

Marcy was working at the tower.

She managed to escape the horror.
Marcy tried to overcome the fear.
Marcy was a 28-year-old Bank of America worker when the photograph of her staring into the lens with her eyes asquint and her mouth agape was taken. Marcy, who came to be known around the world as “dust lady”, died on Monday at the age of 42 after a year-long battle with stomach cancer that she blamed on dust inhaled during the attack.

“I can’t believe my sister is gone,” Michael Borders wrote of his sibling on Facebook. Borders’ cousin John Borde added that she was a “hero” and she “unfortunately succumbed to the diseases that have ridden her body since 9/11”.

“In addition to losing so many friends, coworkers, and colleagues on and after that tragic day ... the pain from yesteryear has found a way to resurface,” he said.

Marcy had no idea she had been photographed until her mother called to say she had seen the picture. The image remained an emblem of the problems that continued to trouble her after the attacks.

The Guardian reports that Marcy was struggling since the event. She turned to drugs and had severe paranoia.

She battled severe depression and became addicted to crack cocaine. “I didn’t do a day’s work in nearly 10 years, and by 2011 I was a complete mess,” she said. “I was convinced Osama bin Laden was planning more attacks. Every time I saw an aircraft, I panicked. If I saw a man on a building, I was convinced he was going to shoot me.”

After losing custody of her two children, Borders checked into rehab in April 2011 and remained sober. She announced that she’d been diagnosed with stomach cancer and had undergone chemotherapy last summer. She was scheduled to undergo further surgery, radiation and chemotherapy in December.

Her daughter, Noelle, told the New York Post her mother “fought an amazing battle”.

World News Today send our condolences to the family of Marcy Borders.
