Obama Meets The Jackie Robinson All-Stars!

President Barack Obama meets American greatness.

The famous Little League team has gotten an opportunity to meet with President Barack Obama this week. It's a miracle team and one of the positive things that makes Chicago a great city.

They made it to the Little League World Series. They ended up losing to South Korean team.

Nonetheless, the president got an opportunity to see America's greatness.

They presented the president with an autographed glove.

Flashing Signs!

The consequence of not voting. Voting is extremely important for Americans. They say that your voice doesn't matter. If you supported the party that loss, then you can't be mad that you didn't vote.

The junk food media leads into stupid discussions about politicians doing unprofessional or unbecoming things around their constituents.

The racist right continues to rear its ugly head after this election. This local junk food media story from Minneapolis got attention of The Huffington Post and the Daily Kos.

TWO THINGS TO GET OFF MY CHEST.

ONE: IF YOU ARE COMMENTING ON THIS AND ANY OTHER STORY ON JOURNAL DE LA REYNA, PLEASE LEAVE A NAME AND A MESSAGE. ANY COMMENTS FROM ANONYMOUS USERS WILL BE DELETED. NO EXCEPTIONS.

TWO: IF YOU'RE NOT AWARE OF THE OUTRAGE METER BY THE CONSERVATIVES (ALSO KNOWN AS THE RACIST RIGHT), A WHITE WOMAN STANDING NEAR A BLACK MAN. THAT IS DOG WHISTLE FOR RACISTS. THEY HATE INTERRACIAL COUPLES. EVEN THOUGH THIS IS JUST A GRASSROOTS ATTEMPT TO GET PEOPLE TO VOTE. THE VERY MENTION OF A WHITE WOMAN NEAR A BLACK MAN PISSES THE WHITE EXTREMISTS OFF. THIS IS A PROGRESSIVE MAYOR WHO WANTS TO ENCOURAGE THEM KNOT HEADED BLACK FOLKS TO VOTE.

IT MAY BE PART OF THE CONDESCENDING LEFT'S ATTEMPTS TO WRANGLE BLACKS AND LATINOS OUT TO THE POLLS. BUT THIS WEEK'S REPUBLICAN VICTORY IS A CERTAIN REASON FOR AN IN-DEPTH LOOK INTO ENCOURAGING HIGHER TURNOUT.

They want to clear the air over an apparent racially motivated story created by a disgruntled law enforcement officer and a turdporter who leans conservative.

The mayor of Minneapolis, Betsy Hodges is under fire for appearing in a YouTube video in what seems to be making a "gang sign" with an ex-convict.

Hodges teamed up with the charity Neighborhoods Organizing for Change for a get-out-the-vote effort one week before Election Day. She posed with Navell Gordon, a former resident of the iron college. He got served for drug possession and illegal gun usage. He's reformed and trying to at least repay his debts to society.
He poses with the mayor and takes a picture. That got the disgruntled officer pissed. He decides to gin up a racial panic by tipping off a local turdporter who probably acts like an anchor on Loserville.

Gordon who has been advocating for ex-convicts to vote is being smeared by this disgruntled cop.

KTSP hasn't responded to the concerns but are aware that their report gave them a great deal of controversy.

While that may look like just an innocently pointed finger, to KSTP and local law enforcement, it's apparently a "known gang sign." KSTP noted it was tipped off to the photo by law enforcement sources, who said they were browsing Gordon's Facebook page while doing "investigative work."

"She's putting cops at risk," Michael Quinn, a retired law enforcement officer, said in KSTP's report. "The fact that they're flashing gang signs back and forth at each other, showing solidarity with the gangs, she's legitimizing what they're doing, she's legitimizing these people who are killing our children in Minneapolis."

John Delmonico, president of the Minneapolis Police Federation, wondered if Hughes would "support gangs in the city or cops."
Two thumbs up are a "gang sign".
Based on what police told the station, KSTP reports there's "no evidence" Gordon is in a gang but he does have "connections to gang members." KSTP reports a spokesman for Hodges told them, "The man in the photo is well regarded by the nonprofit that employs him and the mayor is simply 'pointing at him' in the photo."

KSTP reporter Jay Kolls has defended the station's interpretation of the photo, suggesting the point is actually a symbol of a local gang called the Stick Up Boys.

Kolls did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Huffington Post.

“Law enforcement sources alerted KSTP-TV to a photo they believed could jeopardize public safety and put their officers at risk, especially given the recent increase in gang violence," said Joe Johnston, director of public affairs for 5 Eyewitness News. "Multiple sources from several law enforcement agencies told 5 Eyewitness News the photo had the potential for undermining the work they are doing on the streets. 5 Eyewitness News blurred the individual’s face and did not name the group he was working for because police called into question only the judgment of Mayor Betsy Hodges.”
Mayor Betsy Hodges of Minneapolis. She is a member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party. This political organization supports the Democratic Party.
This isn't the first time Gordon has been targeted while trying to get out the vote. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported in September that while collecting signatures for a petition to restore felons' voting rights, Gordon was tackled and handcuffed after a brief exchange with an officer, who then threatened to shoot witnesses who were protesting the incident.

The Minneapolis Police Department has been under scrutiny for a number of high-profile incidents, as well as a recent American Civil Liberties Union report that found blacks in the city are far more likely to be arrested for minor crimes than whites. While the mayor has worked to smooth over some of the department's issues, the Star-Tribune reports she has also criticized the police:

In response to the news report about Gordon and Hodges, Nekima Levy-Pounds, a law professor at the University of St. Thomas Law School and the founding director of the civil rights legal clinic Community Justice Project, penned an op-ed in the Star-Tribune titled "Dear White People: Mayor Betsy Hodges is Not in a Gang." She wrote about how she met Gordon and was impressed by his efforts to make change.

"This young man personally knocked on thousands of doors during the election season to help get out the vote and educate community residents about the impacts of felon disenfranchisement in Minnesota," Levy-Pounds wrote.

"As a young black man with a criminal history, he has experienced numerous challenges in attempting to successfully reintegrate back into society," she continued.

Here's The Replacement!

The newest scorn for Republicans. The Brooklyn federal district attorney will be nominated for U.S. Attorney by President Barack Obama. The nomination of Loretta Lynch will be a first for African American women.

Might as well get it confirmed before the insurgents join the new Republican majority.

President Barack Obama has announced the new pick for Attorney General. She's going to be the newest conservative outrage. She's a Black woman. I can hear the conservative agitators going on about this. After all, they couldn't stand Eric Holder, the current Attorney General.

Holder is the first African American to be currently holding the post of U.S. Attorney General.

Holder was the scorn of the insurgency and Republican establishment. Holder never hid his feelings towards race, the Republicans and criminals. The Republicans held Holder in contempt of Congress back in 2012 over the handling of Operation: Fast & Furious. That ongoing issue was driven by Darrell Issa, Republican representative from California.

Loretta Lynch is expected to be nominated for the position of Attorney General making her the second African-American (and the first African-American woman) to hold that position.
The president and Attorney General Eric Holder have a contentious relationship with Republicans.
CNN reports Lynch is a popular prosecutor who is in her second stint as US Attorney in New York's eastern district, appointed by President Obama in 2010 and also serving in the same post from 1999-2001 under President Bill Clinton.

White House principal deputy press secretary Eric Schultz told CNN in a statement "We don't have any personnel updates for you, and I'm certainly not going to speculate on any decisions before the President announces them."

U.S. Officials says the President's decision is not official until there is a formal announcement from the White House.

Lynch would be the second woman to serve as Attorney General and second African American to hold the post. Lynch served on the trial team that prosecuted and won convictions against New York City police officers for violating the civil rights of Abner Louima, a Haitian immigrant who police sodomized.

That experience could help at the helm at the Justice Department, which is overseeing high-profile civil rights probes including that into the Ferguson, Mo., police shooting of Michael Brown.

Lynch has quietly built a solid reputation in New York, where Preet Bharara, the top federal prosecutor in Manhattan, garners magazine covers and regular media attention for Wall Street prosecutions.

Her 2010 nomination won Senate approval on a voice vote, meaning Republicans didn't view her as controversial. In recent months, however, she has led the prosecution of Rep. Michael Grimm, a Republican congressman from Staten Island, for alleged tax fraud. Grimm won reelection this week despite being under indictment, and has called the case against him politically motivated. Current Attorney General Eric Holder announced his plans in Septenber to step down.

A Turkey In A Black Pot!

Good news at the end of a bad week for President Barack Obama.

The first job report since the Republican wave crashed to shore. The president is meeting with the lawmakers today to discuss the next years with a Republican majority. A historical first, the Republicans managed to win back Congress. They pulled in new House and Senate members giving them the largest majority since the days of Harry Truman.

Of course, the jobs reports are still coming out. Regardless this issue is a very important factor to the president's legacy. President Barack Obama, under his watch has created over 5.5 million jobs. The current jobs rate has went down. The unemployment rate has went to 5.8 percent.

October's job report said that it created 215,000 jobs which helped lower the unemployment rate.

Although good, the negatives should come forth, The underemployed. That's [employees] who work one or more jobs, those who have stagnant wages, and no movement to advancement. That's still relatively high.

The Labor Department also said a combined 31,000 more jobs were added in August and September than it had previously estimated. Employers have now added at least 200,000 jobs for nine straight months — the longest such stretch since 1995.

The burst of hiring lowered the unemployment rate to 5.8 percent from 5.9 percent. It is the lowest rate since July 2008. Yet workers' average hourly pay rose only slightly, a glaring weak spot in an otherwise solid report.

Voters identified the economy as their top concern in Tuesday's elections. That suggested that economic improvement hasn't yet been felt by many Americans. The sluggish pace of pay growth is a likely factor.

Average hourly pay rose 3 cents in October to $24.57. That's just 2 percent higher than the average wage was 12 months earlier and is barely ahead of the 1.7 percent inflation rate.

"While the labor market is improving and in many respects has already healed, employee bargaining power remains virtually nonexistent," Dan Greenhaus, an analyst at the brokerage firm BTIG LLC, said in a research note.

Still, the brightening jobs picture led more people to start looking for work last month. The percentage of Americans who either have a job or are looking for one rose in October to 62.8 percent. And 267,000 people who had been out of work said they were now employed. Their hiring reduced the number of unemployed to just under 9 million.

The job gains were broad-based, though many lower-paying industries posted especially large increases. Retailers added 27,100 jobs. Restaurants, hotels and entertainment firms gained 52,000.

Some higher-paying industries also showed progress. Manufacturers added 15,000 jobs, up from 9,000 the previous month. Transportation and shipping companies gained 13,300. And professional and business services, which includes accountants, engineers and other higher-skilled fields, added 37,000.

Analysts say the economic expansion remains strong enough to support the current pace of hiring. Over the past six months, the economy has grown at a 4.1 percent annual rate.

U.S. manufacturers are expanding at the fastest pace in three years, according to a survey by the Institute for Supply Management, a trade group. A measure of new orders showed that factory output will likely continue to grow in coming months. A separate survey by the ISM found that retailers, restaurants and other service companies grew at a healthy pace last month.

Home sales rose in September at their fastest rate this year, a sign that housing could pick up after a sluggish performance for most of this year.

Still, faltering global growth could create trouble for the U.S. economy in the months ahead. Exports fell in September, the government said this week, widening the trade deficit. That led many economists to shave their predictions of economic growth in the July-September quarter to an annual rate of 3 percent or less, down from the government's initial estimate of 3.5 percent.

Who Turned Out?

o-NY-POST-OBAMA-570
The conservative publication went through its gloating.

As the president and the Democratic Party sort through their failures, Republicans are celebrating the largest turnout to ever happen. They managed not only to retake the U.S. Senate but gained extra seats in the U.S. House. This gives them largest majority since the days of Truman.

They are hoping that they can turn out the WHITE, CONSERVATIVE, MALE and OVER 65 YEAR OLD crowd again in the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election.

The conservative agitators are gloating and running around with their "WE WON" nonsense.

The racist right rag The New York Post saved the best for the president.

Again, elections have consequences. The Democratic candidates could muster a stronger message.

The Republicans have a big microphone. The junk food media (i.e. Laura Ingraham, that annoying ass conservative agitator, The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, Sinclair Broadcasting, and his network Loserville) were instrumental to getting that BASE out.

I had to tune out liberal agitator Stephanie Miller. She and her crew were trying to make the best of that disastrous night by poking fun at Joni Ernst, the U.S. Senator elect from Iowa. The liberal agitator was calling her a "clown" and mocking her for winning.

I said that Ernst is going to extremely controversial. Nothing else. I won't resort to saying anything other than she's an insurgent backed candidate who won. We'll see if she'll work to help Iowa or show off on friendly networks such as Loserville.

Insurgent is another word for TEA PARTY. The movement purged the moderate and more mainstream Republicans from power. That's why it's called an insurgency.

BREAKING: Carlisha Freeland-Gaither Alive! Suspect Caught!

Just a few hours into the news, the junk food media reports that the missing 22-year old woman was found. The feds and local law enforcement found the pieces and solved a mystery.

Carlisha Freeland-Gaither was found in Jessup, Maryland. The suspect is a tier III offender who has charges for attempted capital murder, explosives and malicious injury with deadly substance.

The junk food media reported that Sunday after leaving a party, Carlisha was abducted by a Black male who ran up on her.

The feds quickly found a suspect on video in two locations. One in Philadelphia and one in Maryland.
Delvin Barnes, the evil man who abducted a woman.
The suspect was using her credit card. That was the key to solving this case. Carlisha was found over 100 miles from her home. She's being treated for minor injuries from the scuffle.

According to CBS Baltimore, the suspect is named Delvin Barnes. He’s being investigated for a previous case and faces attempted capital murder, assault and malicious injury with acid, explosives or fire. He will face federal charges in this case. He is 37.

Details of that other case are not yet available.

Barnes and Gaither were found inside of a vehicle in Jessup. An officer said he believes it was a stranger abduction and there’s no indication that they knew each other.

Officers stress this is an active criminal investigation.

“We got a very dangerous predator off the street,” Police Chief Charles Ramsey said. “He’s a thug and this is what he does, apparently.”

ATF agents say that she was hysterical when Barnes was arrested.

A three minute video shows the moment the suspect parks his car, gets out and starts stalking his victim. She turns to face him and he grabs her and drags her down the street. They continue to struggle after she falls to the ground.
Quick actions lead to her being found.

Witnesses who didn’t want to be identified describe the chaotic scene.

“`Help me, help me!’ I turned around and I just started running up here and I called the cops, screaming `Stop, stop, stop,'” said one.

On Tuesday morning the suspect was seen 72 miles south of Philadelphia in Aberdeen, using his victim’s ATM card at PNC Bank. The suspect was then caught on surveillance video buying snacks at a nearby mini-mart. WJZ went to a Shell gas station and spoke to the employees, who did not want to go on camera but say that is where he came.

Gaither lived in California, Maryland, for some time before moving to Pennsylvania. Her picture is now plastered everywhere from Philadelphia to Maryland as her mother begs for her daughter.

Keisha Gaither thanked everyone for praying for her daughter.

“I’m taking my baby home. Thank you. Thank you so much.”

Gaither relayed a story during the conference of how a detective came to her home and promised that he would find her daughter and bring her home.

Police say Carlisha put up a fight and kicked out the window of the suspect’s car. The vehicle is described as a Ford Taurus, possibly gray, and that shattered window is a key detail in this crime.

The reward for tips leading to the suspect is now $47,000. It’s not known if someone will be claiming that reward.

Where's Carlisha Freeland-Gaither?

Where's Carlisha?
The junk food media has taken an interest in the abduction of a Philadelphia nurse who was kidnapped. The kidnapping was on video showing a man running up on the young woman Carlisha Freeland-Gaither. Within a few seconds, you see her kicking and screaming. There's reports that she was trying to punch the abductor. The woman was leaving a party and then a few moments later, a Black male runs up on her and takes her.

Now leads are pouring into the case. The law has a description of the person who used her credit card in a Maryland store.

Now what's going down?

The feds are now getting involved in the search.

On Sunday, Carlisha a 22-year old nurse was heading home. When she gotten to the Germantown section of Philadelphia, the kidnapping occurred.

Police recovered the woman's purse and cell phone. So this isn't an apparent robbery.

I mean this young woman put up a fight. The family is grief stricken by this. They are hoping that there's a chance that the young woman is still alive.
The description of the suspect who used Carlisha Freeland-Gaither's credit card.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that it's unclear whether the man seen using the ATM early Monday is the same man who was captured on video Sunday dragging Carlesha Freeland-Gaither into a waiting sedan in the 100 block of West Coulter Street as she struggled and screamed.

Added, investigators have also interviewed a person whose car is seen on the video backing away from the Taurus, as well as a man seen running down the block. The witness in the car told investigators he saw Freeland-Gaither being forced into the car, police said, and saw the car's windows shatter before he backed away. The witness did not get a license plate number, police said.

At the news conference, Freeland-Gaither's grandmother, Ana Mulero, said there were "some gray people" in the woman's past, mentioning a boy she had forbidden her granddaughter to date. A police official ended the line of questioning before she went into more detail.

Freeland-Gaither had recently moved from her grandfather's house to live with her boyfriend just a few blocks from where she was kidnapped.

ABC News reports that the feds released the new video showing a man in a hooded jacket as he shops in a supermarket hours before that Carlesha Freeland-Gaither was kidnapped on Sunday, according to the video time stamp.

The video shows the man entering and leaving the unidentified store as well as walking through its aisles. He appears to have a slight limp. Investigators also noted that the man in the video had a wallet chain and wore a dark hoodie.

Police have not named any suspects in the case.

Freeland-Gaither's abduction on an empty Philadelphia street Sunday night was caught on surveillance video and began with a wary handshake, according to additional video released Tuesday night.

Additional surveillance footage taken from a second angle of the kidnapping revealed the first frightening moments between Freeland-Gaither and her assailant.

It's not clear if they interviewed the boyfriend but obviously that's the first person to question.

We here at Journal de la Reyna hope for a safe recovery for Carlisha.
