Ohio Suburb's Residents Vent About Bus Line To Mall!

RTA comes to the mall. The racist right blows their steam online and their word vomit is as always disgusting.

The racist right exists in the state of Ohio.

And in the rust belt city of Dayton, Ohio its residents in the nearby suburb of Beaverceek are showing out over the Greater Dayton RTA placing a few bus stops near the Mall at Fairfield Commons.

It's business as usual in their hatred of Barack Obama, the Black community and social injustice.

RTA has finally got approval to have its Route 1 bus line extended on Pentagon Boulevard. The Pentagon Boulevard area is where the Soin Medical Center, the DeVery Institute, and the Mall at Fairfield Commons are located.

Passengers on the new Route 1 can use one inbound and two outbound stops. An outbound, or eastbound stop, is located near the Clark State Community College Beavercreek Campus; both an inbound and outbound stop sit across from each other between the mall and the Walmart and Sam's Club stores.

The new stops are on the same route that serves Wright State University. Alternating Route 1 trips will extend service to the new Pentagon Boulevard stops. Service intervals at the new stops will be 60-70 minutes during weekdays and about 90 minutes on weekends, according to the RTA.

Beavercreek residents go to the Dayton Daily News website to vent their hatred of the bus line and somehow managed to bring President Obama into the fray.

This is not perfect. I mean you have to wait over 70 minutes if you miss a bus. I rather just walk the damn four miles to the nearest bus stop. It's pathetic that in order to get a bus out there, you have to have it come by every 70 minutes to 90 minutes. You're screwed if the last bus to Dayton leaves at 10:00pm and you're not on it.

This is an injustice still in America. The heart of hell exist in the city of Dayton. The White extremists of the suburban wasteland are more nuttier than the squirrels they've poisoned.
The layout for Route 1 goes from poor neighborhood of Drexel to affluent suburb of Beavercreek.
The Dayton Daily News is trying its hardest not to be partisan but yet allows these disgusting comments filter down its pages.

Now you notice that most of these comments are either borderline racist or just utter ignorance. This is why the "You Can't Fix Stupid" crowd flock to That Guy Who Throws Shit To The Wall's website and Loserville for their daily fix of hating America.

This place will be the Salem Mall in 3-5 years. Homeless and thugs taking up residence in the food courts, thugs with no money wandering the hallways all day scaring off the people with money. Fairfield Mall has recieved my last dollar.

And another mall on the downhill slide.

Posted by bob55 at 11:59 a.m. Jan. 12, 2014
Perhaps the "leaders" of the NAACP and the LEAD group should then ride the bus back to the Salem Ave. area and help disband the groups hanging out there. While they are at it they can hit Main St., Gettysburg Ave., etc. Lots more productive use of their time than riding a bus to a mall that will be history in 5 years.

Dayton and the suburban areas really need to invest in light rail! Kasich did a disservice to this state when he sent back 400 hundred million for a start up passenger train. The sprawl around Dayton was built on cheap oil of last century, oil is no longer cheap and it is harder to get for 21st century!

I wouldn't let my child ride the bus out to that area...Too many white men out there and they are known to be child molesters based on the news reports and headlines I see...

We will never know how many people ride per week or day because there was never a real demand only trumped up need just to ram this down the Beavercreek residents throat.I"ll bet people drove cars to the downtown hub to get the bus.Someone should put a referendum on the ballot and take the RTA money away.No body would miss it.

There may be a valid need for mass transit but, facts and figures regarding each bus route should be made available. This should include number of passengers on a given route and peak times when passenger use increases. Then by this, consolidation or elimination of routes could occur. It is not cost effective to run buses with very few passengers.
What study was done for the beavercreek routes?
Or is this just a misuse of the service in order to validate some equality standard?
If one has to use the bus service, how could they possibly afford to shop at the mall?
And, most mall employees got to their jobs without the bus service.

It looks like race not need or demand decides who or what govt. services the taxpayer gets or does not get.I guess some would consider this earth shattering event as a highlight of their life.I would be ashamed that I needed a bus to shop or work. What a boost to ones confidence.

SSBN I will agree with you on this one. I went to their website and could not find any studies or information on usage. I also did a search and did not find anything. This is information they should have on their website out in the open.

Debra So you are assuming that these people are Christians. If they are they are not living it.

Posted by 43mb at 8:04 p.m. Jan. 12, 2014
Interesting how the same ilk that scream and shout about certain "lazy folks living on the dole", then complain when the bus makes it easier for those folks to get work.

First of all, the same bus has been going to WSU for years(IT'S IN GREENE COUNTY ALSO!). Second, the RACISTS in this thread need to get over it! It's 2014, not 1950! What proof do you have that RTA killed Salem Mall? ZERO. Bad Trotwood leadership was the cause(and still is). How about you bigoted idiots stay the hell out of our Montgomery county? Sounds resonable, since you want to tell us to stay out of Greene, right? - See more at: http://www.whio.com/news/news/local/new-rta-stops-pentagon-blvd-now-service/nckgG/#cmComments

Sorry, hdayejr. Your revisionist tactics won't work. Like most liberals who cannot face the truth about the past, you seek to change t it to your liking. Black youths DID kill the Salem Mall. I was a frequent patron there. I SAW it. I worked at the Arcade Square, and I saw what the kids (all races) did to it, when the Board of Education dropped off kids to transfer to RTA buses in the late 80's. The Dayton Mall DID kick the RTA out, and I'm sure they had to have an excuse. Glad they found one.

Ya friggin race pimp!

Most of the mall crime come from people driving cars not riding buses!

Amiri Baraka Passes Away!

File:Amiri Baraka.jpg
Famed poet and activist Amiri Baraka passed away.

Over the past few days, there's been talk about the New Jersey Republican governor Chris Christie and his ties to a deliberate traffic tie up at the George Washington Bridge to get revenge on the Fort Lee mayor.

While this is the talk of the nation, a famed and yes controversial poet named Amiri Baraka died on January 9, 2014. Baraka born Everett LeRoi Jones was an American writer of poetry, drama, fiction, essays and music criticism. He was the author of numerous books of poetry and taught at a number of universities, including the State University of New York at Buffalo and the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He received the PEN Open Book Award, formerly known as the Beyond Margins Award, in 2008 for Tales of the Out and the Gone.

Baraka's poetry and writing has attracted both extreme praise and condemnation. Within the African-American community, some compare him to James Baldwin and call Baraka one of the most respected and most widely published Black writers of his generation.

Others have said his work is an expression of violence, misogyny, homophobia and racism.

Baraka's brief tenure as Poet Laureate of New Jersey (2002–03), involved controversy over a public reading of his poem "Somebody Blew Up America?" and accusations of anti-semitism, and some negative attention from critics, and politicians.

Baraka read his 2001 poem on the September 11th attacks "Somebody Blew Up America?", which was criticized for anti-Semitism and attacks on public figures. Because there was no mechanism in the law to remove Baraka from the post, the position of state poet laureate was officially abolished by the State Legislature and Governor McGreevey.

Baraka collaborated with hip-hop group The Roots on the song "Something in the Way of Things (In Town)" on their 2002 album Phrenology.

He first married Hettie Cohen, with whom he had two daughters, Kellie Jones (b. 1959) and Lisa Jones (b.1961). Baraka would author an acclaimed, controversial play Dutchman, in which a white woman accosts a black man on the New York subway. The play premiered in 1964 and received the Obie Award for Best American Play in the same year.

After the assassination of Malcolm X in 1965, Baraka left his wife and their two children and moved to Harlem. Now a "black cultural nationalist," he broke away from the predominantly white Beats and became very critical of the pacifist and integrationist Civil Rights movement. His revolutionary poetry now became more controversial.

Baraka married his second wife, Sylvia Robinson, who later adopted the name Amina Baraka.

In 1967, he lectured at San Francisco State University. The year after, he was arrested in Newark for having allegedly carried an illegal weapon and resisting arrest during the 1967 Newark riots, and was subsequently sentenced to three years in prison.

Baraka's daughter Shani (Amina) with , aged 31, and her lesbian partner, Rayshon Homes, were murdered in the home of Shani's sister, Wanda Wilson Pasha, by Pasha's ex-husband, James Coleman. Prosecutors argued that Coleman shot Shani because she had helped her sister separate from her husband.

A New Jersey jury found Coleman (also known as Ibn El-Amin Pasha) guilty of murdering Shani Baraka and Rayshon Holmes, and he was sentenced to 168 years in prison for the 2003 shooting.

Amiri Baraka died on January 9, 2014, at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, after being hospitalized in the facility's intensive care unit for one month prior to his death. The cause of death was not reported initially, but it is mentioned that Baraka had a long struggle with diabetes.

Later reports indicated that he died from complications after a recent surgery.

Baraka's funeral will be held at Newark Symphony Hall on January 18, 2014.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Amiri Baraka.

Ex-Cop Murders A Movie-Goer Over A Phone!

Florida law enforcement investigate a fatal shooting at a movie theater. The suspect is an ex-cop.

Down in the state where everyone is entitled to "stand their ground", a retired cop gets into a heated argument with a man and his wife over their use of a cell phone while in the playing of a movie.

The retired cop decides that he had to teach this disrespectful punk a lesson. He pulls out his pistol and fires a few slugs in the chest of the man.

Curtis Reeves, Jr. the suspect.
The man gets a slug in his chest, walks a few feet and collapse.

A off-duty cop and a few medical nurse were watching the event go on. They disarm the ex-cop and tend to the man with a slug in his chest.

As the law enforcement was coming, the wife of the man who got a slug in chest was injured by an apparent  fragment. She knew that her man is on his last breath. He took one to the chest, you're chances were very slim if the bullet hit internal organs.

As they load the man onto the helicopter for a fast track to the nearest Tampa hospital, he would later die upon arrival.

Somehow I guess the ex-cop wasn't aware that the man was on the phone with his daughter. Cause all the texting and phone chatting happened because I guess there was an emergency at home. The ex-cop didn't know that one, did he?

Curtis Reeves, Jr. age 71 is a retired police captain who worked in the tactical response unit is being held on a $2 million get outta free card. He is being charged with SECOND DEGREE smokeout!

The victims were Chad and Nichole Oulson. Chad was killed by a .380 pistol. Nichole was injured by the fragments of the bullet.
Chad and Nichole Oulson were shot by a deranged man. The man confronted the family over their use of a cell phone. The shooter is a former cop who has years of experience in dissolving conflicts.

Passo County sheriff in Florida and the city of Wesley Chapel are handling the investigation.

The movie was Lone Survival.

Ironic.

Will this ex-cop claim that he thought the Oulsons on their phone were acting "suspiciously"?

After all he could have solved the problem by getting management or asking for a refund!

BUT SINCE FLORIDA IS THE WILD WEST OF GUN CRIMES AND UTTER STUPIDITY, HE DIDN'T NEED NO STUPID MANAGEMENT! HE HAD A GUN!

Developments will follow here on Journal de la Reyna.

Trying To Cause Drama...

Nike Gets Sued By Shoe Pimp!

Pimp sues Nike after his shoe met the face of the victim he stomped. Woman on the right was beaten by the trick.

They say pimping ain't easy.

I know a guy who is a pimp.

Anyway, I am just another guy who is stomped by the accusations being hurled at shoe giant Nike by convicted pimp Sirgiorgiro Clardy.

Clardy is serving a 100-year bid in the iron college after being found guilty for second-degree assault. The suit calls for the company to put warning labels on their Air Jordan shoe line and other merchandise.

The conviction stemmed from a June 2012 confrontation in which Clardy — who was wearing a pair of Jordans at the time — attacked an 18-year-old woman he forced to work as an escort, and an unidentified man who attempted to leave a Portland hotel room without paying her. The woman was beaten so badly she was bleeding from her ears, while the man required plastic surgery to repair his nose.

“Under product liability there is a certain standard of care that is required to be up-held by potentially dangerous product” Clardy wrote. “Do [sic] to the fact that these defendants named in this Tort claim failed to warn of risk or to provide an adequate warning or instruction it has caused personal injury in the likes of mental suffering.”

The suit was filed in Multnomah County Circuit Court, and will reportedly be delivered to the company’s headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, for a response.
Shoe game!
Clardy’s July 2013 conviction for the attack was his 20th, and he has been found guilty on other occasions of compelling prostitution, assault and robbery. He claimed during the trial that he was suicidal and that he heard voices, despite a psychologist’s assessment that he was in the “the 100th percentile of narcissistic criminals.” The terms of Clardy’s conviction also allows for his possible release in 36 years.

“I’ve evaluated serial murders, serial rapists, and I’m going to tell you very few of those people reach the [scores] we’re going to talk about here,” the psychologist, Frank Colistro, was quoted as saying. “People like Mr. Clardy are born bad. It’s not something we can fix. That’s why we have prisons.”

State law allows for crimes involving “dangerous weapons” to have longer sentences. The Oregonian reported that the classification has been used for cases involving blood infected with the HIV virus, scalding hot water, and a phone receiver, among several unusual items.

More power to the pimp, but I think he's gonna lose this one.

Again sex trafficking is an illegal act that involves the prostitution of women and underage children. This is a CLASS TWO felony and it does carry a sentence up to life in the iron college. The person who profits (pimp or madam) usually puts women and children in emotional distress and forces them to do errands for them.

These people are usually looking into the modeling field and are tricked into doing this.

Yeah, emotional distress drives prostitution.

Again, I have my prayers to one of my friends. She's caught up in the game and eventually it will be game over for her.

Ride Friendly!

Riders welcome. Dayton's Regional Transit Authority was granted access to Beavercreek, Ohio despite outcry from residents. The bus service to Beavercreek will start on Sunday.

The Greater Dayton RTA won the battle but will Beavercreek win the war?

The public transit service is scheduled a bus to arrive near The Mall of Fairfield Commons on Sunday beginning a trial run for passengers who want to catch a ride out to area. It gives it a year for RTA to prove that the bus is necessary for the suburb.

The city of Beavercreek is a heavily Republican area. The residents weren't happy about this. They've vocally complained about this and warned that its going to bring nothing but trouble. They plan to rebuke the RTA by calling police upon the bus riders the moment they act inappropriate around the area.

It's a win for the residents who had to walk at least four miles to the mall. It was extremely dangerous for people to walk on North Fairfield Road. The six to eight lane road has limited access to sidewalks and the easternmost side of the road is likely the only access for walkers.

The United States Federal Highway Administration and the Department of Justice warned the Dayton's suburb that if they refuse to get a bus line out there, they would lose funding.

The Greene County Area Transit and RTA have long complained about the city not advocating public transportation in the area.

It's a small step to at equality.

The RTA only serves a portion of Greene and Montgomery County. It serves Dayton and its inner and some of its outer suburbs.

The public transit still has trouble entering areas like Fairborn, Troy, Tipp City and Bellbrook. These suburbs are extremely conservative and have fought against the RTA as well.

Did you know that the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) has buses that serve Columbus and its neighboring communities?

The COTA is hoping to expand its service by adding light rail transit. Columbus population is over 796,000 people.
A win for the RTA.
COTA has buses that cover Franklin, Delaware, Licking and Fairfield Counties respectively. There's COTA buses that serve the Ohio State University, Port Columbus International Airport, Polaris Fashion Mall, Tuttle Crossing Mall, The Easton, Ohio Dominion University, Capital University and the Hollywood Casino.

Did you know that the Southern Ohio Regional Transit Authority (Cincinnati's Metro) has buses that serve Cincinnati and its neighboring communities?

The Metro covers Hamilton, Butler, Clemont, and Warren Counties respectively.

It covers the Kenwood Town Center, Lunken Airport, The Horseshoe Casino, Tri-County Mall, Kings Island, the Eastgate Mall, Paul Brown Stadium, Great American Ballpark and the National Underground Railroad Museum.

The Metro wants to install the controversial streetcar/light rail project. The mayor of Cincinnati is strongly against the idea and wants to drop the streetcar project.

The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) also serves the city of Cincinnati. The bus service covers Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

The TANK serves Campbell, Boone and Kenton Counties respectively.

The TANK serves the Northern Kentucky University, the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Turfway Downs, The Newport on The Levee, the Florence Mall and Thomas More College.

TANK and Metro work together often when it serves the needs of its residents.

Cincinnati's population is 293,000. The metro Cincinnati area including Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana is 2.4 million residents.
