Jesse Lee Peterson is a conservative Black extremist who is closely associated with conservative agitators Sean Hannity and Bill Cunningham. Peterson managed to outdo himself as a "civil rights leader". If there was anything amazing about this man or his Brotherhood Organization of A New Destiny, is the fact that I haven't seen how many members were a part of this group being Black.
I guess he's upset that the family of Trayvon Martin decided his services weren't needed in the matter. So what does he do? Peterson goes after Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson for meddling in the affairs of those white people who suffered under the notion of being a racist for an incident that involves Black people.
These Black conservatives are trying to whitewash the Trayvon Martin shooting controversy.
In the words of his parents: "Even in death, they are still trying to ruin the reputation of [Trayvon Martin]!"
Conservatives are engaged in the "change the subject" defense. They will ignore the fact this issue became national news when the police said there's no reasonable indication to arrest George Zimmerman. The family asked the NAACP, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to help them in the matter. They didn't hear about the story until the family was intimidated by the police and the Florida state prosecutors weren't interested.
Without them, the family of Trayvon Martin would have been marginalized by the police and civil attorneys of the shooter. By trying to say that Trayvon Martin being suspended from school for having an empty "weed" bag, having gold teeth, tattoos and middle fingers (all proven either false or misleading) is not the subject. The boy was unarmed and the young man was armed! Why wasn't George Zimmerman taken to the hospital if he claimed he was bashed in the head and suffering from a broken nose? In the incidents that involved White people being attacked by Blacks, the perpetrators were apprehended and charged with the crimes.
If Republicans and their conservative allies were capable of trying to interject their opinions on the matter, they usually have at least Barack Obama in their back pocket. Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum both condemned the president and accused him of using this incident to play to the base. When conservatives are blaming the outrage on the Black leaders, another young Muslim woman was killed. Three people (two Black and one white) were shot by police officers. Sean Bell, who was gunned down after attending a bachelor's party by the NYPD. All these people were unarmed. While conservatives are complaining about this story, they seek out hundreds of violent crime incidents involving Blacks killing Blacks. Blacks killing whites. They complain these issues are often ignored by the media. And President Barack Obama is the original "race hustler" in the matter.
On Feb. 26, Trayvon Martin, 17, was shot and killed near his home in a gated community in Sanford, Florida by Hispanic neighborhood watch leader, George Zimmerman. Rev. Al Sharpton, The Congressional Black Caucus and the NAACP have all condemned the shooting and labeled it a racially-motivated "hate crime." Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND, the Brotherhood Organization of A New Destiny, released the following statement regarding this issue:
"It's hypocritical for so-called black 'leaders' to call for the prosecution of George Zimmerman and accuse the police of racism without knowing the facts. Black-on-black crime takes place every day. And blacks kill whites in far greater numbers than whites kill blacks. Yet, we only see these leaders and their hypnotized black followers worked up when a black is victimized by another race. This is racist and evil.
"Where were the NAACP, Al Sharpton, the Black Caucus and black ministers when black flash mobs were terrorizing the city of Philadelphia and attacking whites and others? It was so bad that Mayor Michael Nutter threatened to jail parents if they were not willing to get their thug children under control. In Kansas City, a 13-year-old white kid was attacked by two black teens who poured gasoline on him and set him on fire saying, 'you get what you deserve, white boy.' If these leaders were sincere, they would condemn crime across the board.
"I've said for the last 22 years that most black Americans are brainwashed. The recent actions of these black leaders and their followers are not about justice—it's about getting even with whites and gaining political power. This is black hatred of white people and a result of more than fifty years of brainwashing by racist civil-rights leaders.
"It's unfortunate that the parents of Trayvon Martin would associate with the likes of Al Sharpton and allow their loss to be exploited. Just imagine the support they would receive from Americans of all races if they rejected hate and called for calm and due process to allow the truth to come out."

R.I.P Rekia Boyd: Innocent Chicago Woman Shot & Killed By Off-Duty Detective! (No Weapons Found At The Scene)
March 22, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A woman shot by an off-duty Chicago police officer on Wednesday morning died Thursday. Family members say she was an innocent bystander and are calling for an investigation into her death.
The suburban man is grieving the loss of his sister, who died Thursday at Mount Sinai Hospital after being shot in the head by an off-duty Chicago police officer.
Boyd and a man were both shot early Wednesday morning by an off-duty detective on the city's West Side.
Family and friends who were at Boyd's side when she passed away Thursday are calling for a federal investigation into her death.
Boyd's family insists she was an innocent bystander.
"This young beautiful girl dead in the streets. Why?" said Sutton.
Boyd's family brought two photos of her Thursday to the hospital. In the first, she is a smiling, happy 22-year-old woman. The second photo was snapped shortly before she died.
"All we want to know is what happened?" said Sutton.
Just after 1 a.m. Wednesday morning, the police union says, an off-duty detective rolled down his car window and asked a group of people gathered near Douglas Park to quiet down. In response, police say, a 39-year-old man pointed a gun at the officer, who drew his own weapon and fired. The bullets hit the alleged gunman in the hand and Rekia Boyd in the head as she stood nearby.
"They said the shooting is justified, but how is it justified when you got a young girl up there with a bullet hole in her head? What kind of justice is that?" said Sutton.
Witnesses told ABC 7 Wednesday that no one pulled a gun on the off-duty officer. And prosecutors only charged the man who police say had a gun with aggravated assault, a misdemeanor.
"There were 60-70 people in the park and no one had a gun. Everyone was just out there to hang out, that's it," said witness Leo Coleman on Wednesday. Coleman is the alleged gunman's cousin.
Boyd's large family from south suburban Dolton sees similarities between what happened to her and the case of the unarmed Florida teen shot by a neighborhood watch volunteer.
"First you got Trayvon, now you got Rekia," Sutton said. "Senseless, senseless violence. It didn't have to happen."
The Independent Police Review Authority is investigating the shooting.
Late Thursday afternoon, the Chicago Police Department told ABC 7 that CPD had been in contact with Boyd's family and would like to express sincere condolences.
Rekia Boyd tragedy.
