If 50 can't do in the studio, he will do with AI memes.
Clifford "T.I." Harris demands 50 Cent get into the studio and not do these stupid AI click baits. I guess 50 is using his best offense which is a quiet defense.
Ever since the media mogul made fun of T.I.'s wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle-Harris, 50 just basically kept the gas on. And for every online trolling, AI or unflattering picture, it is mixed.
No way—they made a celebrity Power Slap event between 50 Cent and T.I. That’s AI! 👀😭👋 pic.twitter.com/ZJ5lOAlDIl
Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is trying to burn T.I. out basically. He literally stated he is not responding to T.I., King Harris and Domani Harris.
I mean I am wondering how the hell, The Game, Young Buck, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Ja Rule, Rick Ross, Raymond Scott (formerly Benzino) and every rival of yesteryears never got this far?
50 buried these guys and made sure they never succeeded. His bullying has finally come to a head. I mean, when you're an elitist, running your mouth when the society is struggling in President Donald J. Trump's crappy economy is peak.
I mean, King and T.I. throw the gauntlet down on 50. They said basically, "You got smoke for Black men and women but tap dance for the white man. By the way, you're down with Trump."
It all started over a damn VERZUZ snub by Fif.
When T.I. went on a podcast to address it, he said he lost respect for rapper/media mogul.
50 labeled T.I. a snitch after he took a plea deal in a firearms charge. The media mogul has often went after rappers who got light taps with allegations of working with the feds.
Big freaking deal.
Who wants to spend their lives in federal time out or the iron college when you have a wife and children?
An idiot.
C'mon. They are entertainers who got lucky because they can rhyme and sell music. They ain't living a 9 to 5 job like the rest of us. They got talent. It took an opportunity and the right connections, a union and a contract to make them successful media personalities.
They take shits on the toilet too.
T.I. preparing for his possible last album decided to add some new singles on it aimed at 50.
Msg to da Dildo dealer: I don't make memes I MAKE MUSIC!!!! IDGAF what you erase... You keep posting = it's Problems!!!! #WhatBully 🦆 pic.twitter.com/ES7W2i16pO
This is how TIP did Lil Flip. He went harder than I've expected. And for every trolling post 50 made online attacking him, Tiny or King, TIP responded with a hard hitting response.
King did far worse when it came to addressing 50.
King addressed the media mogul and literally said "your mama dead, dig her ass up and compare that to my mama."
I am paraphrasing it. It was extremely volitatle.
It has been a literally back and forth with T.I. and King not letting off the gas.
He is proving that he is definitely the motherfucking "King of the South."
I guess North Carolina wants a tone deaf politician.
Read the room.
Rep. Valerie Foushee (D-NC) served the U.S. House since 2023 and has been considered a frontrunner at some point. Then came Israel’s genocide on Gaza and the Iran War.
Foushee, won with the support of Democratic Majority for Israel. It helped her defeat Nida Allam in the first go around. This second round would be a game changer.
Right now, Foushee is leading by 1,300 votes it is a small margin that triggers a recount.
Allam has called Foushee on Wednesday declaring she has conceded.
Although, I am disappointed that Allam lost, I am not too disappointed. It puts Foushee in the crosshairs of pro Palestinian protesters who vow the next time, she better vote in the interest of her constituents.
Foushee held on in her deep-blue North Carolina seat, surviving roughly $1 million in attack ads from a new group launched to oppose the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
Nida Allam said this primary challenge will force Democrats to change course of face defeat in 2026 and 2028.
Foushee beat Durham County Commissioner Nida Allam, a Bernie Sanders-backed progressive and the first Muslim woman to hold political office in the state, by a razor-thin margin in Tuesday’s primary. Allam, who had previously indicated that she plans to call for a recount, conceded the race Wednesday evening.
The race had been consumed by various tensions rippling through the Democratic Party — generational change versus institutional experience, battles over Big Tech and the influence of dark money. But Israel was the political issue that fueled the most spending against Foushee.
Nida Allam vows the fight doesn't end. She will hold Foushee and Democrats accountable.
Allam and a progressive super PAC launched to counter AIPAC spending have leaned heavily into the fact that the pro-Israel group — which Foushee has since disavowed — helped support the representative in her 2022 campaign.
But Foushee had friends of her own to counter their ads. The Anthropic-aligned Jobs and Democracy PAC and mystery super PAC called Article One both flooded the airwaves in support of Foushee.
Her win is also a loss for Leaders We Deserve, the David Hogg-founded group that has promised to primary “asleep at the wheel” Democrats, which backed Allam.
Kristi Noem was ICED out. President Trump fired her.
I gave up my governor seat for this load of crap.
Midway Wrap Up in May.
Kristi Noem, the second high profile figure to be ousted in Donald J. Trump's second chaotic term. Michael Walz was ousted only to be demoted to be UN Ambassador.
That means she and her alleged romantic partner Corey Lewandowski are out.
The Homeland Security Secretary days were numbered after the president got angry over the scandal she and Lewandowski caused while on a flight. How about Noem having her purse stolen? The food allegery that swelled her throat. Or perhaps it was the spending on that extravagant commercial from Noem.
No concerns about Americans being killed by gun violence, ICE agents killing people and preventing potential deadly disease outbreaks. Just tabloid fodder.
Trump on Thursday fired his embattled Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, after mounting criticism over her leadership of the department, including the handling of the administration’s immigration crackdown and disaster response.
Trump, who said he would nominate Oklahoma Republican Sen. Markwayne Mullin in her place, made the announcement on social media after Noem faced a two-day grilling on Capitol Hill this week from GOP members as well as Democrats.
Noem’s departure marks a stunning turnaround for a close ally to the president who was tasked with steering his centerpiece policy of mass deportations. But she appeared to increasingly become a liability for Trump, with questions arising over her spending at her department and over her conduct in the aftermath of the shooting deaths of two protesters in Minneapolis earlier this year.
Trump said Noem “has served us well, and has had numerous and spectacular results (especially on the Border!).” He said he was making her a “Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas,” a new security initiative that he said would focus on the Western Hemisphere.
A scandal prone Oklahoma senator may replace Noem. Markwayne Mullen is a former mixed martial artist and media personality who became senator in 2023.
Noem, who appeared at a law enforcement event in Nashville, Tennessee, moments after Trump’s announcement, did not address her ouster there. She read from prepared remarks and was not asked by attendees about the development.
Later, in a social media post, she thanked Trump for the new appointment and touted her accomplishments as secretary.
“We have made historic accomplishments at the Department of Homeland Security to make America safe again,” she wrote.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the administration will work with the GOP-led Senate to get Mullin, whom she called “extraordinarily qualified,” confirmed to lead DHS “as soon as possible.”
The administration’s immigration crackdown faced criticism, especially in Minnesota
Noem is the first Cabinet secretary to leave during Trump’s second term. Her tenure looked increasingly short-lived after hearings in Congress this week where she faced rare but blistering criticism from Republican lawmakers. One particular point of scrutiny was a $220 million ad campaign featuring Noem that encouraged people in the country illegally to leave voluntarily.
Noem told lawmakers that Trump was aware of the campaign in advance, but Trump disputed that in an interview Thursday with Reuters, saying he did not sign off on the ad campaign.
Noem has faced waves of criticism as she’s overseen Trump’s immigration crackdown, especially since the shooting deaths of the two protesters in Minneapolis at the hands of immigration enforcement officers. In the immediate aftermath of the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, Noem portrayed both of them as aggressors, contradicting widely viewed videos and descriptions of their deaths from bystanders. She declined to apologize for her description over two days of Congressional testimony.
The former South Dakota governor was also criticized over the way her department has spent billions of dollars allocated to it by Congress.
Her department, DHS, has been at the center of a funding battle in Congress over immigration enforcement tactics and has been shut down for 20 days, although many of the employees are continuing to work, often without pay.
Even before Noem’s appearance before key congressional committees this week, Republican lawmakers had been anticipating the secretary’s eventual ouster, particularly after her handling of the immigration enforcement crackdown in Minneapolis.
As they tried to end the ongoing Homeland Security shutdown, Senate Republicans had noted privately to Democratic senators that Noem was likely on her way out and that that should prompt Democrats to move forward with agreeing to fund the department again, according to two people familiar with the discussions.
Democrats did not see that as an actual concession by Republicans, considering Noem was becoming a political liability for the GOP, said the people, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss private negotiations.
Aside from immigration, Noem also faced criticism — including from Republicans — over the pace of emergency funding approved through the Federal Emergency Management Agency and for the Trump administration’s response to disasters.
Critics welcomed Noem’s departure. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey wrote “good riddance” on social media, a sentiment echoed by Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer.
Some immigration activists questioned whether her departure would change the execution of an immigration agenda that they fundamentally disagree with.
“This is not accountability, just a reshuffling of the enablers of the agenda of President Trump,” said Vanessa Cárdenas, Executive Director of America’s Voice, an advocacy group. She said Noem’s tenure was “marked by cruelty.”
Gregory Bovino, a Border Patrol official who was elevated under Noem’s watch to lead immigration crackdowns in cities including Los Angeles, Chicago and Minneapolis, was one of the few who applauded Noem’s tenure.
“She is the best Secretary I ever worked for, period. The others weren’t even close. Noem is the ultimate patriot,” Bovino told The Associated Press.
DHS leadership changes come at a pivotal time
Mullin would need to be confirmed by the Senate, but under a federal law governing executive branch vacancies, he would be allowed to serve as an acting Homeland Security secretary as long as his nomination is formally pending.
Voting in the Senate just after Trump’s announcement, Mullin said he has “no idea” how quickly his nomination will move.
“The president and I are good friends. So we look forward to working closer with the White House, and obviously I’m gonna be over there a lot more,” he said.
Mullin would take over the third-largest department in government that has responsibility for carrying out Trump’s hardline immigration agenda. And he would assume the role at a pivotal time for that agenda.
Immigration enforcement during the first year of Trump’s administration was largely defined by high-profile, made-for-social-media operations with flashy names, often led by Bovino, who reported directly to Noem. Noem herself often went out on those operations, riding along with officers when they went out to make arrests.
But those high-profile operations in places like Los Angeles, Chicago and Minneapolis often led to clashes with activists and protesters that were captured on video and drove opposition to the president’s immigration agenda.
That culminated with the shooting deaths in Minneapolis after which Trump shuffled leadership of the operation. The number of officers there was drawn down shortly after.
The folks up in South Bend are mourning a legend. Norte Dame had an iconic football coach who talked tough and held the school to top prestige.
By the way, he was MAGA.
He won't live long enough to see his buddy, President Donald J. Trump eff up everything in the world.
Legendary college football coach Lou Holtz, who led the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to their last national championship in 1988, has died, the school announced Wednesday.
He was 89.
Holtz had been in failing health in recent months, with his family announcing he'd been moved to hospice care in Orlando, Florida.
In 33 seasons on the college sidelines, Holtz went 249-132-7, with much of that work coming in South Bend, Indiana, where the Irish were 100-30-2 from 1986 to 1996.
"We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Lou Holtz," current Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman said in a statement.
"Lou's impact at Notre Dame has gone well beyond the football field. He and his wife, Beth, are respected across campus for their generous hearts and commitment to carry out Notre Dame's mission," he said.
Holtz's head coaching career took him to William & Mary, North Carolina State, Arkansas, Minnesota and South Carolina, in addition to Notre Dame.
Between the N.C. State and Arkansas gigs, Holtz tried his hand at pro ball, going 3-10 in one season running the New York Jets. He quit with one game left in the 1976 season.
Holtz famously said of his time in New York: “God did not put Lou Holtz on this Earth to coach in the pros.”
He could not have been more correct, immediately landing in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and leading the Razorbacks to glory. The Hogs were 60-21-2 in Holtz's time there; only one coach has win more games at Arkansas since he departed.
But he'll always be most closely associated with Notre Dame, where five coaches have won 11 national championships.
The others are Knute Rockne, Frank Leahy, Ara Parseghian and Dan Devine. All are legends.
Well he at least got a medal.
The "Play Like A Champion" sign that adorns the Irish dressing room "was first displayed during the Holtz era," the school said in a statement.
Holtz also removed names from the back of the football jerseys to emphasize the team dynamic, a tradition that is still followed today during all regular-season games," Notre Dame added.
He retired from coaching after the 1996 season in South Bend and launched a new career in the studio, working as an analyst for CBS Sports.
The retirement didn't last long, as Holtz still had one coaching run left in him, taking over a downtrodden South Carolina program.
The Gamecocks were 1-10 in 1998 and then 0-11 in Holtz's first season in 1999. He turned it around, going 33-26 in the next five seasons in Columbia.
The next retirement from the sidelines was for real, and Holtz went back to the studio, as an analyst on ESPN.
Marcus Freeman will study the master.
ESPN's Andrea Adelson fondly recalled mingling with Holtz and another college football legend, Lee Corso, at one of his final public appearances, in Orlando in November.
"He and Lee Corso told epic stories, and Lou was as sharp and funny as ever," according to Adelson. "He knew he didn’t have much time left, but that didn’t stop him from filling the room with joy."
Holtz is survived by his four children, Luanne; Lou Jr., known as “Skip”; Kevin; and Elizabeth. The latter three all graduated from Notre Dame, the school said.
When the Real Housewives of New York fired Lizzy Savetsky for being a racist asshole, she denied it. As a staunch supporter of the apartheid genocidal ethnostate of Israel, Savetsky has been promoting narratives to counter pro-Palestinian content on social media.
Savetsky has made feuds with people for no fucking reason.
From Spike Lee to Ms. Rachel, Savetsky has smoke.
Rachel Griffin-Accurso, known as Ms. Rachel is a media personality, educator and activist.
She is a mother, wife and daughter.
Before she was a famous media personality, she was an indie artist who sung inside nightclubs and preschool teacher.

On Purim we dress up to remember that "evil" often masquerades as "good." This costume was way too easy. Tonight we celebrate our 2500-year-old story of Jewish resilience over enemies who sought to destroy us in what is now modern day Iran, as we are at war with the enemy in Iran who seeks our destruction! We are living through biblical times! G-d was with us then and He is with us now. As we will say in unison tonight, "So may all Your enemies perish, O Lord." AMEN! Happy Purim!
The U.S. and Israel have single handedly made Iranians unite despite their disdain for their political leadership.
David vs. Goliath and Israel.
Iran has the right to defend itself.
Israel thinks killing people is going to generate sympathy for it. Nah, it is only going to make more countries join forces to stop them and the United States.
Mojtaba Khamenei is the son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Khamenei was assassinated by the U.S. and Israel. The impact has shocked the world.
Now as the Iranians plan on replacing their ayatollah, Mojtaba is emerging as their frontrunner. I previous stated Alireza Arafi was the new ayatollah. He is temporary but also in the running.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated on March 4, 2026, that whoever is chosen as the next Supreme Leader will be a target for elimination if they continue the regime's plans against Israel.
Trump lock tight support of Israel has now started to affect Republicans.
My opinion is simple, the Democrats are completely locked in retaking the House of Representatives. The Senate Republicans could lose two and gain one. But the voters od the respective states can determine the fate of the Congress.
If you wanted "Death to America," remind yourself that Trump supporters tried to violently overturn a peaceful transfer of power. They violently broke into the U.S. Capitol and tried to kill Nancy Pelosi and Mike Pence. Republicans refuse to hold President Donald J. Trump accountable for his actions. They are more upset over protected speech than a foreign country committing war crimes and an active genocide.
Fuck the hypocrisy of President Donald J. Trump, Republicans, the far right, Zionists, former president Joe Biden, Democrats, Israel and the junk food media.
Israel and its propaganda is not working this time around. Too many folks around the world see how this country operates and they want it to stop. The U.S. is the only country still backing this evil regime.
President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Sen. John Thune (R-SC), Sen. Question.
Who is going to protect you when the protection can't protect you?
With the approval of AIPAC, the ADL and the state of Israel, Congress has:
1. Forced TikTok to divest from ByteDance and allow it to be sold to Larry Ellison, a Trump supporter who has investments with Israel. He has already meddled with the app. Ellison will also control Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance to push pro Trump or Zionist propaganda.
2. Advocated the arrest, the suspension, the termination of students, staff and media figures for protesting. With ICE apprehending people regardless of nationality is similar to how Israel conducts itself in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
3. Drafted bills to define criticism of Israel as antisemitic and are working to push for fines and jail time. Making critics pay fines or face jail time for actions.
4. Working to sanction the International Criminal Court and its prosecutors from issuing arrest warrant to top Israeli leaders.
5. Continue to give Israel billions in taxpayer money without any conditions.
6. Refuse to have a formal investigation into the deaths of Americans killed by Israel.
7. Support retaliation towards Venezuela, Cuba, Lebanon, Nigeria, Yemen, Syria, Iran and Iraq despite Israel launching illegal airstrikes.
8. Refuses to sanction Israel for illegal settlements, killing of journalists and other atrocities.
9. Voted to block funding to UNRWA and WHO because of allegations made by Israeli propaganda. Banning Francesca Albanese entry, stripping her finances, banning international professors critical of Israel, deplatforming social media influencers critical of Israel and making it difficult to create content because of draconian child protection laws.
10. Called organized protesters and those who support them outside agitators as a label to denounce active protest and dissent against status quo.
Expect the president, vice president, administration officials, lawmakers and some media figures to be demanding more protection. They are expected death threats, protests and potential violent encounters.
I do not condone violence or support anyone gassed up to harm any person mentioned.
But an eye for an eye is coming.
FOR THE TIME IN POLLING, THE SYMPATHY FOR PALESTINIANS IS GREATER THAN ISRAELIS. THAT MEANS MORE AMERICANS ARE GETTING TIRED OF OUR POLITICIANS PUTTING ISRAEL'S INTERESTS AHEAD OF THE UNITED STATES.
When young Americans are seeing children being blown up, Israeli Defense Soliders wearing the clothes of their victims, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lecturing Americans on what is justified opinionated concerns, the AIPAC lobby trying to deflect by painting critics as being bought by foreign influence, the ADL trying push censorship campaigns on social media, the deflections to blame Muslims, the calls to deport critics because they oppose Israel, calling people "antisemitic" and a "terrorist" to stifle critics is seriously backfiring.
This 🇮🇱 And Zionism Will Be Regarded As A Symbol Of Evil In The 21st Century.
Y'all voted for this.
Mark this day, February 28, 2026, the U.S. and Israel have set off World War III.
From theRiver to the Sea, Palestine will be Free! 🇵🇸 🍉
Cry more!
The strike on Iran killing Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the nation's top leader has triggered the third global war. It will soon expand to a regional conflict which will put the lives of millions at risk.
The apartheid genocidal ethnostate of Israel will use its last tool in the box if cornered.
It will launch an atomic end of times ballistic missile on Iran which will spread across the Middle East killing millions to expand its Jewish supremacist nation.
The U.S. carried out an illegal war, killed its leaders, its military and now it threatens the global markets.
Iran has shut down the Straight of Hormuz. That waterway is in Iranian sovereignty.
They have barred U.S., British, European Union and Israeli oil tankers from passing through the narrow waterway. It has literally put the global markets at risk of a recession.
The U.S. warned Americans in 14 countries to abandon their vacations or business endeavors. The backlash to attacking Iran has many embassies on high alert.
Protests are increasing globally and folks are demanding the U.S. and Israel be held accountable.
The junk food media here doesn't tell the truth to why President Donald J. Trump launched this aggression. He did it on behalf of a war criminal named Benjamin Netanyahu.
Why we are closing in on over $40 trillion in debt, the U.S. will spend more to fund this aggression while Americans are struggling to pay bills and incurring massive debt.
Fuel prices are rising to high levels forcing corporations to pass the expenses on consumers.
The U.S. also confirmed they sank an Iranian vessel in international waters. That is a violation of war. That means Iran could use submarines to destroy U.S. and Israeli ships at their will.
This is White Angry Racists at the world.
Iran, a country of 90 million has prepared for this. For nearly 30 years, Iran has been watching how Israel and the U.S. acted.
How are you gonna get Texans to vote for you in the general? You got eight months.
Everything is crazy in Texas.
Let me make this clear, I do not endorse Democrats James Talarico or Jasmine Crockett for the U.S. Senate.
I do not endorse Republicans John Cornyn, Ken Paxton or Wesley Hunt for the U.S. Senate.
If anything, I endorse a candidate that fully opposes Israel. If any candidate that is opposed to the status quo or Israel, you got my vote.
It appears the bitter primary fight between two polarizing Democrats is over.
James Talarico, a Texas state representative who left the state during Gov. Greg Abbott's decision to hold a special session for state lawmakers to gerrymander the U.S. congressional districts to give Republicans a five seat advantage. It triggered other states to redraw their maps and it has been proven once again that democracy is in decline.
Coming from Dave Wasserman, he seen enough.
It appears that Talarico may have defeated Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) for the Democratic nomination. It did not matter if former vice president Kamala Harris or many Black elected leaders put their efforts behind her, it was her votes and the controversy that doomed her.
You cannot win being noise.
Had she been more caring about the pro Palestinian vote, she could have won.
Crockett has never took money from AIPAC but she has visit Israel, voted to fund the country its ongoing genocide and push for global war. Crockett also rolled her eyes at people who confronted her.
If anything, Talarico will start off as a weak opponent. He will have to win over disgruntled Crockett supporters who believe race and gender played a big role in her defeat.
He will have to denounce Israel. He will have to prove to Texans that he is not the far left radical the junk food media's right agitators claim all Democrats are.
It ain't over. John Cornyn got to face Ken Paxton in May.
The competitive Republican primary for Senate in Texas is headed to a runoff, according to a Decision Desk HQ projection.
The race will head to a May 26 showdown between incumbent Sen. John Cornyn and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton as Republicans scramble to keep the seat in GOP hands.
Neither Cornyn nor Paxton won the 50 percent-plus-one support they needed to avoid a runoff against a third competitor, Rep. Wesley Hunt, who was pulling in double-digit support in polls ahead of the race. Polls had also shown Paxton with a slight lead.
The upcoming runoff will pit the four-term incumbent senator against the controversial attorney general as national Republicans warn against a possible Paxton win and Democrats gain steam across the aisle.
This doofus will take on John Cornyn.
In February, the National Republican Senatorial Committee cited internal polling in a memo arguing that Cornyn was “the only Republican candidate who reliably wins a general election matchup” and that Texas “cannot afford to be a gamble” in the high-stakes midterms.
Both Crockett and Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX) were rejected. Both Black lawmakers who supported Israel despite their constituents warning them it was a gamble.
Rep. Dan Cranshaw (R-TX) fell out of favor with President Donald J. Trump. He ends up being a high profile Republican to fall. Again, all that support for Israel will doom candidates especially in a close primary race.
State Rep. Steve Toth declared victory Tuesday night in his bid to unseat incumbent U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw, coming one step closer to representing Texas’ 2nd Congressional District.
Toth opened a wide lead in the Republican primary on Tuesday as results came in. The Associated Press has not declared a winner for the Houston-area seat.
“Congressional District 2 voters want a representative in D.C. who will stand firm in his convictions, fight for his constituents, and follow through on his promises. I won’t let them down,” Toth said in a news release.
Toth’s commanding lead was a reversal of fortunes for Crenshaw, who had in previous years sailed through the primaries with double-digit leads. The sudden overtaking comes despite Crenshaw having raised $1.3 million more than Toth.
Toth is among the Texas Republican Party’s most conservative members who have repeatedly questioned the commitment of leadership and Gov. Greg Abbott to the GOP’s values. The Conroe Republican has framed the race as a referendum on the future of the Republican Party, an effort that garnered support from several conservative leaders, including U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and Turning Point Action.
Trump shows Republicans that he ain't playing. Dan Crenshaw goes down.
Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL currently in his fourth term, is a conservative in his own right. Since being elected to the seat in 2018, the Houston-area Republican has made barring federal funding for gender-affirming care and targeting Mexican cartels a focus. His endorsements include leading conservative organizations such as the National Rifle Association and a swath of local elected officials.
But Crenshaw has clashed with Republican allies over several issues, including his support for Ukraine aid and the 2020 election results, which he voted to certify. Crenshaw is the only Texas Republican incumbent in the House running without Trump’s endorsement.
Despite all the noise and shocking content, 78 year old Rep. Al Green (D-TX) loses his bid to unseat Rep. Christian Menefee (D-TX).
Memefee, who just joined Congress only three weeks ago, easily beaten the longtime lawmaker. Both candidates were not backed by AIPAC.
Memefee who backed Crockett has a "nuanced position" on the issue. He defeated the pro Israel Democratic opponent Amanda Edwards.
Green who is a strong progressive. He was forced out last week during the State of the Union when he presented a poster saying "Black People aren't apes."
Menefee led longtime U.S. Rep. Al Green in the Democratic primary, according to early voting results released Tuesday by the Harris County Clerk’s Office. Election Day results in the redrawn Houston district, which historically favors Black Democrats, were still being tallied.
Rejected. Wesley Hunt goes down hard.
Menefee, 37, received 48.75% of the early vote compared to 43.13% for the 78-year-old Green, who has represented the 9th Congressional District since 2005. He switched to the 18th after Texas Republicans undertook a rare mid-decade redistricting last summer in order to help the GOP win up to five additional seats in the November midterm election.
In Harris County, Menefee received 54.69% of the vote while Green received 36.79% of the vote, according to the Harris County early voting results.
In Fort Bend County, which includes a part of the 18th District, Green had 61.9% of the vote, while Menefee had 31.08% of the vote, according to Fort Bend County early voting results.
The closely watched primary race is the second election for the 18th District in just over one month — and the third overall in a period of four months — after a special election to fill the seat vacated by the late U.S. Rep. Sylvester Turner, who died last March at age 70.
Menefee, the former Harris County attorney, won the Jan. 31 special election against former Houston City Council member Amanda Edwards. Menefee was sworn into office in February.
Friendly fire. Al Green falls to Christian Menefee in a bitter primary. Menefee joined the Congress in February. He faces a general election against a Republican.
But the scope of the special election was vastly different from that of Tuesday's primary election. The Texas legislature approved new congressional maps designed to benefit Republicans. In some circumstances, including in the new 18th Congressional District, the new maps pit Democrats against one another.
Green, whose home and many of his current constituents were shifted from the 9th District to the 18th, opted to seek reelection in the latter district, setting him up for a race against Menefee. Green, a frequent critic of President Donald Trump, made headlines last week after being removed from Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress for the second year in a row.
Two other candidates — Edwards and Department of Defense employee Gretchen Brown — were also on the ballot. Edwards suspended her campaign in February after her special election defeat, though her name still appeared on the ballot.
In the Republican primary, Ronald Whitfield led Elizabeth Vences with 54% after early voting. The two primary winners will compete in the general election in November.
The district has long leaned Democratic, with a Black Democrat having held the seat since the early 1970s. Redistricting last year made the 18th even more favorable for Democrats.
