NYPD under fire after one threw an object at a fleeing suspect causing a deadly crash.
When Eric Adams, mayor of New York City reestablished the New York City Police Department's undercover unit, he wanted to bring criminal activity down. I guess this is a result of the unit returning to its past days.
The NYPD is the country's largest police force with 79,000 officers serving the five city boroughs with a population of 8.7 million. This incident happened in The Bronx.
Adams may have to once again explain why the NYPD once again chose to do a reckless act in pursuit of a suspect.
A plain clothes officer is suspended without pay after he let his need to react to a fleeing suspect on a motorbike go too far. Now the suspect is dead because of it.
The suspect Eric Duprey was literally knocked off his motorbike when NYPD cop Eric Duran threw a cooler into his face. The motorbike crashed into a tree, a vehicle and metal fence.
The NYPD placed sargent (left) on non paid leave. It means possible criminal charges are coming.
The impact caused traumatic brain injury and Duprey died at the scene.
Surveillance video viewed by The Associated Press showed Duprey driving the gas-powered motorcycle on a sidewalk toward a group of people, including the sergeant, who was not in uniform.

As he approached, the video shows Duran pick up a red object — the picnic cooler — and throw it. Duprey is struck hard. He loses control, then is tossed toward a tree as the motorcycle veers into the street. The bike smashes into a metal barricade before coming to rest against a parked car.
Duprey was pronounced dead at the scene minutes after the crash, which happened around 5:30 p.m.
Police said Duprey tried to flee on a friend’s motorcycle after he was caught selling drugs to an undercover police officer. The sergeant was standing on the sidewalk as part of the “buy-and-bust” operation carried out by the Bronx Narcotics Unit. Police declined to specify what drugs Duprey was accused of selling.
Reached by phone, Duprey’s mother, Gretchen Soto, told The Associated Press the police narrative was “all lies,” insisting her son was not selling drugs or trying to evade officers. She said she was on a video call with him from Puerto Rico on Wednesday when suddenly the screen went dark.
“He wasn’t fleeing. He wasn’t fleeing. He was just on the motorcycle talking to me on the video chat. And he passed by that place when all of a sudden the call cut out,” she said in Spanish.
She said Duprey lived in the Bronx, worked as a delivery driver and had three children, ages 3, 5 and 9.
“They left three fatherless babies,” Soto said. “I’m going to get justice.”
New York Attorney General Letitia James’ office, which has jurisdiction to probe deaths involving police, is investigating. The NYPD said it is cooperating.
Republicans complained about Black and Brown children being left without fathers. When cops kill these fathers, guess they're no where to be found. Republicans justify most police encounters.
“The NYPD is committed to ensuring that there will be a full, thorough, and transparent investigation of this incident to determine the facts and to take the appropriate steps forward,” the department said in a statement.
A message seeking comment was left with Duran’s union. The Daily News first reported the incident.
Duran, a 13-year veteran of the department, joined the Bronx Narcotics Unit last September. He has been recognized by the department dozens of times for what it deems excellent and meritorious police service, according to a police personnel database.
Duran’s disciplinary record includes a substantiated complaint last year for abusing his authority during a stop, according to the city’s Civilian Complaint Review Board.
By the way, ask Vivek Ramaswamy why they're are fatherless homes?
His Asian privileged ass blames crime on fatherless homes. Well, it appears that a crime happened by the police and it left children without a father.
Assholes like this cop and Ramaswamy should never exist. Unfortunately they do.
The definition of white privilege and unrepentant ignorance.
Washed Up 45 is back on X (Twitter). He also was given a mugshot in Georgia. He appeared on Tucker Carlson's podcast and even though he did not attend the Fox debate in Milwaukee, he won because he still leads despite his four indictments and the relentless lies.
He will be the first U.S. president (former) to ever appear in a mugshot. It will be American history. It will be a legacy that will be discussed for years.
The 45th President of the United States is indicted in Fulton County, Georgia because of his attempts to sway Republicans to overturn the results of 2020 U.S. Presidential Election.
The prosecution alleges that the former president led a "criminal racketeering enterprise", in which he and all other defendants "knowingly and willfully joined a conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome" of the 2020 U.S. presidential election in Georgia. All defendants are charged with one count of violating Georgia's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) statute, which allows for a penalty of five to twenty years in prison. The indictment comes in the context of Washed Up 45's broader effort to overturn his loss in the 2020 presidential election. It is one of four ongoing criminal indictments against the former president.
He arrived to Atlanta to head to the county lockup as it was a reality TV show. Soon after he posted bail, Washed Up 45 decided to use his mugshot as a campaign fundraising event.
After Elon Musk lifted his ban from the platform, it took almost a year and now the noise is back.
Though Washed Up 45 faces multiple charges in three other pending criminal cases, the Aug. 14 indictment brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was the first time officials required he submit to a photograph. The images are routinely taken by authorities when people are arrested, in part to identify a defendant in future criminal investigations.
The former president is one of 19 defendants charged with racketeering and other crimes in the Georgia case. Rudy Giuliani, a former federal prosecutor who became Washed Up 45's personal attorney, and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows had already surrendered before the former president and their booking photos were widely circulated.
The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Nimarata Haley (Nikki), Vivek Ramaswamy, Tim Scott, Mike Pence, William Hutchinson (Asa), Chris Christie, Doug Burgum and Ron DeSantis have participated in the Fox debate in Milwaukee.
Who won this debate?
Washed Up 45, because none of them could break the lead. On top of that, they too busy trying make conspiracy theories and culture wars their plan for 2024.
Who actually won.
Joe Biden.
Why?
Because the Republicans are not Washed Up 45 and they are immediately going to be ignored when the frontrunner (who skipped the debate) appears in Georgia for his arrest.
President Biden and his team are just sitting back watching the Republicans drift further out of the mainstream and all of them do not seem prepared for the challenges.
The debate had highlights and a bunch of lowlights.
Pence defended his rightful decision to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election. Pence openly supports a federal abortion ban. He used old troupes from Ronald Reagan. Pence complained that he wasn't given equal time.
Ramaswamy was trying his best to be click-bait. He boldly stated he will pardon Washed Up 45 (and Jan. 6 rioters) if he was elected. He clapped at Christie for being in this race and saying he is wasting his time. Slams Pence for being too weak (for not violating the constitution to overthrow the election). Ramaswamy was loud and obnoxious like Washed Up 45. He constantly pivoted to claiming all the candidates on stage refuse to be in urban areas like Chicago and Philadelphia. He made a condescending trip to neighborhoods in Chicago and the Kensington district in Philadelphia to bash the policies of the mayors.
Haley (who doesn't use her birth name but has the audacity to attack Barack Obama and Kamala Harris) said that the government should be cautious of pushing for abortion bans. She also hit Washed Up 45 for driving up the debt. She slammed Ramaswamy for his lack of foreign policy. Haley tried to pivot to the old canard about diversity in the Republican Party and how Democrats exploit race as a weapon.
DeSantis was doing best to bring up George Soros when it comes to attacking district attorneys who are "weak" on crime. He also claimed that Biden was hiding in the basement. Claiming that Biden's COVID policies did not work in Florida. He failed to acknowledge the pandemic started in 2020 when Washed Up 45 was in charge. He also defected from the elephant in the room, "Did Joe Biden win the election?", "Would you support a national abortion ban?", and of course "Would you support Trump if he was the nominee?" DeSantis was doing his best to brag about how Florida lead the way to with culture wars, tax cuts and "freedom." DeSantis claims that he will use military force to invade Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Colombia to stop drug traffickers.
Scott was boring. Hutchinson was ignored. Burgum was ignored.
That pretty much my summary. I was too busy working to listen to the noise of eight mini-Washed Up 45s.
Hutchinson and Christie (although he rose his hand) vow not to back Washed Up 45.
Who also got in the news.
Larry Elder. He failed to make the stage and tried to sue to get on the stage. Guess he couldn't get the Tucker Carlson interview. Washed Up 45 went to X for an interview with the former Fox agitator. Carlson, a notorious white nationalist was fired from the network and they banned his name from being mentioned.
Fox banned Donald Trump, Jr., Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Rep. Byron Donald's (R-FL), Kimberly Guilfoyle, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and her boyfriend Brian Glenn from the spin room since Washed Up 45 did not attend.
A huge disappointment for independents and those who wanted to hear civility.
None of them are civil or ready for the job. Even though Pence is seasoned, he failures to advise Washed Up 45 when he was reckless is a sure fire reason to not have him as the 47th President of the United States.
Russian state media reported that the leader of the Wagner mercenary group was one of 10 victims in a plane crash outside of Moscow. Many believe the Federation leader Vladimir Putin ordered a hit on his former ally.
You may remember that the Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin was planning an armed mutiny against Russia and it came close to toppling the Kremlin. It did cease after talks.
But Prigozhin was exiled to Belarus and the Wagner mercenaries were banned from Russia. The U.S. and other intelligence agencies have signaled that his time was coming, but they didn't know when the hit was going to happen.
A mysterious plane crash of a critic of Putin is something that will have Ukraine and world leaders pondering. When we thought the armed mutiny weakened Putin, it appears the dictator was regaining his strength.
The victims of this plane crash:
Yevgeny Prigozhin: The founder, leader, and spokesmen for the Wagner group.
Dmitry Utkin: The leader of Wagner's military operations, and who the group was named after.
Sergei Propustin: Wagner veteran and officer.
Yevgeny Makaryan: Prigozhin's bodyguard.
Alexander Totmin: Prigozhin's bodyguard.
Valery Chekalov: The leader of Wagner's security and foreign logistics.
Nikolai Matyuseev: Wagner veteran and officer.
And three were crew members:
Aleksei Levshin: Pilot.
Rustam Karimov: Co-pilot.
Kristina Raspopova: Flight attendant.
The aircraft crashed near Kuzhenkino in Tver Oblast, approximately 60 miles (100 km) north of its departure point in Moscow. The aircraft involved was a private jet manufactured by the Brazilian company Embraer. It is believed to be Yevgeny Prigozhin's personal aircraft, an Embraer Legacy 600; however, certain Russian media outlets suggest ownership by MNT-Aero LLC, a corporate transportation firm.
Putin once considered Prigozhin a trusted ally.
A Telegram channel associated with the Wagner Group called "Grey Zone" reported that the jet was downed by Russian air defenses. The channel claimed that local residents near the crash site heard two loud noises before the incident and observed two vapour trails. However, this assertion was contested due to the lack of visible missile trails in the released footage. All ten passengers' remains were successfully recovered.
According to Flightradar24 data, the plane had ascended to an altitude of 28,000 ft (8,500 m) subsequent to takeoff. Video footage of the crash displayed the aircraft in an apparent flat spin just before impacting the ground. It seemed to be missing either its vertical stabilizer or one of its wings.
Prigozhin was occasionally referred to as "Putin's chef" because he owned restaurants and catering companies that provide services to the Kremlin. Once a convict in the Soviet Union, Prigozhin controlled a network of influential companies, notably the Wagner private military company, which received support from the Russian state, as well as three companies accused of interfering in the 2016 and 2018 U.S. elections. According to a 2022 investigation by Bellingcat, The Insider, and Der Spiegel, Prigozhin's activities "are tightly integrated with Russia's Defence Ministry and its intelligence arm, the GRU".
He was wanted by the FBI and had a $250,000 bounty for his arrest. He was ordered to encourage election interference to help Washed Up 45 beat Hillary Clinton (and later Joe Biden) through a continuing manipulation of information through social media.
Wagner mercenaries allegedly are plotting a revenge attack.
Prigozhin financed and directed a network of companies including a company called the Internet Research Agency Ltd. (Russian: ООО «Агентство интернет-исследований»), Concord Management and Consulting Company and one other related company. The three companies are accused of Internet trolling and attempting to influence the 2016 US presidential elections and other activity to influence political events outside Russia.
Russian journalist Andrey Soshnikov reported that Alexey Soskovets, who had participated in Russian youth political community, was directly connected to the offices of Internet Research in Olgino. His company, North-Western Service Agency, won 17 or 18 (according to different sources) contracts for organizing celebrations, forums and sport competitions for authorities of Saint Petersburg. The agency was the only participant in half of those bids. In the summer of 2013, the agency won a tender for providing freight services for participants of a Seliger camp.
In February 2023, Prigozhin stated that he founded the IRA: "I've never just been the financier of the Internet Research Agency. I invented it, I created it, I managed it for a long time." The admission came months after Prigozhin had admitted to Russian interference in U.S. elections.
Georgia sheriff grabbed Judge Hatchett's breasts and groped her.
I did not know about this until now. It appears former TV judge and lawyer Glenda Hatchett was groped by a former Republican sheriff. He literally grabbed her breasts and squeezed them in front of witnesses. Probably was drunk and thought it would be a moment to see a celebrity. This happened in 2022.
Why wasn't I aware of this?
He just plead guilty to misdemeanor sexual battery.
The incident happened in Cobb County during a state police convention.
Effective this morning, Kristopher Coody has resigned, according to lawyer Joel Pugh. According to his lawyer, Coody wrote a resignation letter to the governor this morning.
“My entire professional career, I have been involved in supporting victims," Judge Hatchett said in the courtroom on Monday “I have seen in my courtroom so many victims over the years.”
Cobb State Court Judge Carl Bowers apologized to Hatchett for how long the case took, and for her ordeal. He also thanked her for being in the courtroom today.
“To be on this side of this is very difficult. It is important for the defendant and everyone present to understand the horrific effect this has had on me." Hatchett said “This has cut me to the core”
Coody has been sentenced to 12 months probation, 40 hours of community service, a $500 fine, and a psychosexual evaluation, and he must complete an alcohol and drug course, which his lawyer says he has already completed.
Glenda Hatchett told the junk food media that she cried after that predator molested her.
He has also been ordered not to make any contact with Hatchett.
If he violates that order, Bowers said, “I will lock you up. Not a threat, simply a promise."
In June, Pugh said they were prepared to go to trial if they couldn't work things out with the state. But with the prosecution pushing for the trial to start Aug. 28, Coody and Pugh reached a plea agreement to avoid trial.
Kris Coody released a statement about his guilty plea. Here is that statement in full.
This morning I plead Guilty to a misdemeanor charge in Cobb County State Court. To be clear, I had no intent to touch Ms. Hatchett inappropriately. Unfortunately, I acted in a careless manner and for that I have taken full responsibility for my actions. Additionally, I have resigned as the Sheriff of Bleckley County effective 8:00 a.m. August 21, 2023, and as such thereby forfeited the pension that is typically associated with that office.
I have dedicated my adult life to law enforcement and have enjoyed the privilege and honor to serve in that capacity. I would like to especially thank the citizens of Bleckley County for an opportunity to serve as Sheriff in such a wonderful community. I would like to express that it has been an honor to serve the citizens of Bleckley County and I appreciate the support I have always received and continue to receive from them along with the entire staff of the Bleckley County Sheriff’s Office. I would like to apologize to the citizens of Bleckley County for the entirety of this unfortunate incident.
As an elected official, you are held to a higher standard. Therefore, when you stumble, often is the case that the punishment for your actions is set at a substantially higher standard. To all my fellow elected officials, be ever so vigilant of your words and actions. As elected officials you are constantly under scrutiny and your paths are littered with pitfalls. This is the nature of politics.
I know that I will move forward and overcome this setback. I have never allowed my mistakes to dictate who I am or diminish my spirit and resolve. I ask the community for your continued support and that you continue to overwhelm the Bleckley County Sheriff’s Office with the same support and encouragement you have been so gracious to have given me during my tenure as Sheriff.
Let my white privilege be the way to redemption.
If the person was Black and done it to a white woman, it would be years not probation.
If it was a political season in which a struggling candidate needed a whisper campaign to run its course, hire an American who is a Russian operative, claim a wild story, amplify it in the junk food media, call for the leading candidate to resign, when it doesn't work claim you are targeted or in fear of arrest and lastly defect to Russia when it may seem like the feds are coming for you.
You maybe Tara Reade.
Judge Hatchett and other Black women face this every time. They literally have to prove it happened. Thankfully, people witnessed this and sure enough it led to one dangerous predator off the streets and out of the police.
Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian are celebrating the birth of their baby.
The tennis legend and internet mogul posted on social media their new edition, Adira River Ohanian.
"I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful," he added.
He shared photos of Williams beaming holding her newborn with Ohanian and their 5-year-old daughter, Olympia.
"Thanks to all the amazing medical staff who took care of my wife & our daughter I’ll never forget the moment I introduced @olympiaohanian to her baby sister," he wrote.
He concluded with a verse from the Book of Isaiah: “Your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.”
Williams announced in a Vogue essay last August that she was planning to retire from tennis and focus on growing her family.
“I have never liked the word retirement,” Williams wrote. “Maybe the best word to describe what I’m up to is evolution.”
“These days, if I have to choose between building my tennis résumé and building my family, I choose the latter,” she added.
Williams was also vocal about her health challenges after she gave birth to Olympia in 2017.
In an essay for Elle, she wrote that the day after she delivered Olympia by cesarean section, her legs were numb and she feared she was having a pulmonary embolism — a threatening blood clot in the lungs.
In the essay, she said that she learned in 2010 that she had blood clots in her lungs and that “ever since then, I’ve lived in fear of them returning. It wasn’t a one-off; I’m at high risk for blood clots.”
She alerted hospital staff members but said, “No one was really listening to what I was saying.”
After much persistence, she wrote, a nurse called Williams’ doctor, who agreed to have things checked out, and she was found to have several blood clots and needed several operations.
Williams noted that Black people in the U.S. are nearly three times likelier to die during or after childbirth than white people.
“Many of these deaths are considered by experts to be preventable,” Williams wrote. “Being heard and appropriately treated was the difference between life or death for me; I know those statistics would be different if the medical establishment listened to every Black woman’s experience.”
Far right agitator and perennial loser Larry Elder will not be on the stage of the Republican presidential debate in Milwaukee. He will be on the sidelines with Miami mayor Francis X. Suarez and fellow perennial loser Perry Johnson.
Elder, a Black extremist is known for his anti-Black rhetoric. He tried to defeat California governor Gavin Newsom in a failed recall effort. It only made even more funnier when he posted on X claiming he did.
Now he will sue to appear.
“I said from the beginning that it appeared the rules of the game were rigged, little did we know just how rigged it is,” Elder posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “For some reason, the establishment leaders at the RNC are afraid of having my voice on the debate stage.”
I intend to sue the RNC to halt Wednesday's presidential debate.
I said from the beginning that it appeared the rules of the game were rigged, little did we know just how rigged it is. For some reason, the establishment leaders at the RNC are afraid of having my voice on the… pic.twitter.com/PX5fnD1Rkn
Elder, who previously staged a failed run for California governor in a recall election against Newsom in 2021, said he met all the requirements set by the RNC to participate in Wednesday’s debate in Milwaukee, yet it informed him he was not eligible to participate. He said the committee only informed him after sending in his qualification package for the debate that one of his polls wasn’t considered valid.
Johnson, a businessman from Michigan, also claimed to have met every requirement for the debate, yet the RNC rejected him. In a statement obtained by independent journalist Ben Jacobs, he said the RNC had preconceived ideas about who they wanted on stage.
“It is clear from the beginning, the RNC knew who they wanted on stage and who they wanted to ban from the stage,” Johnson said. “Simply put, this is a flawed decision of a poorly run process of a corrupt organization.”
“The reason, as stated by the RNC, is that Rasmussen Polls have ties to former President Donald Trump – an individual who is not even participating in the upcoming debate,” Elder’s campaign said in a statement attached to his post. “Larry Elder has no knowledge about whether Donald Trump has ever worked with Rasmussen previously.”
It was confirmed that Rihanna had her second child with A$AP Rocky.
The pair have a son together.
The singer and business mogul has welcomed her second child with rapper A$AP Rocky, according to People magazine and Entertainment Tonight. The new addition joins big brother, RZA, who was born in May 2022.
TMZ was the first to report the news. USA TODAY has reached out to the stars' representatives for further details.
Rihanna announced her second pregnancy in February during her halftime performance to the shock and delight of fans. The singer performed hits like "All of the Lights" and "Umbrella" in a custom red jacket and bralette designed by LOEWE which showed off the 34-year-old's growing baby bump.
She could also be seen caressing her stomach during the performance, a nod to her soon-to-be bundle of joy. The singer’s representative confirmed the pregnancy shortly after she ended her 13-minute set.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were quiet about the arrival of their first child last May, not giving fans a glimpse of the baby boy until December when the "Umbrella" singer shared an adorable video of the then 7-month-old to TikTok. The video features mom and baby riding around in the backseat of a car while RZA yawns, smiles and tries to grab the phone from her hand.
Washed Up 45 announced he will not participate in any Republican primary or presidential debates. He will not debate his GOP rivals or President Joe Biden. He will continue to spread his lies without being fact checked. He will not offer any ideas or challenges to his first term agenda. He will continue to play the victim, whip up violence and threaten democracy at every turn.
“The public knows who I am & what a successful Presidency I had,” Washed Up 45 wrote on his social media site. “I WILL THEREFORE NOT BE DOING THE DEBATES!” His spokesman did not immediately clarify whether he plans to boycott every primary debate or just those that have currently been scheduled.
The former president and early GOP frontrunner had said for months that he saw little upside in joining his GOP rivals on stage when they gather for the first time in Milwaukee Wednesday, given his commanding lead in the race. And he had made clear to those he had spoken to in recent days that his opinion had not changed.
Pretty much, the Republican Party will have to make a decision on whether they should allow him to even be a candidate.
I am certain that GOP Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel is none too happy about this latest development. The Republican Party should issue an ultimatum.
"Either you participate in the debates or be thrown off the primary ballot!"
So can we finally phase him out!
I mean every news channel (especially MSNBC) name drops this character. I wish they stop doing it. They should only do it when it comes to his trials. They also should give President Joe Biden more credit for pulling America out of the mess he inherited.
Fox will be highly angered by this. Their relationship with the former president is waning.
“Why would I allow people at 1 or 2% and 0% to be hitting me with questions all night?” he said in an interview in June with Fox News host Bret Baier, who will be serving as a moderator. The former president has also repeatedly criticized Fox, the host of the Aug. 23 primetime event, insisting it is a “hostile network” that he believes will not treat him fairly.
Washed Up 45 had been discussing a number of debate counterprogramming options, including sitting for an interview with ex-Fox host Tucker Carlson, who has been hosting a show on the website formerly known as Twitter. Carlson was spotted at the former president’s Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club ahead of the announcement, according to a person familiar with the visit who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it. The New York Times reported Saturday the interview set to air Wednesday has already been taped.
Washed Up 45 has also said that he will not sign a pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee if he loses the nomination — a requirement set by the Republican National Committee for appearing on stage.
“Why would I sign it?” he said. “I can name three or four people that I wouldn’t support for president. So right there, there’s a problem.”
Washed Up 45 refuses to sign the GOP Loyalty Pledge. It is a requirement for Republican presidential candidates to back the nominee. It comes as no surprise part of the MAGA-wing's obligation to keep primary challengers outside.
America please do not make the mistake of electing him again. The coronavirus pandemic was proof enough that he can govern. He is too old to be acting this immature.
He literally is a threat to our nation's secrets, rule of law and is the very definition of white privilege.
Think if this Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden acting like this! Republicans would not waste time calling for their removal from ballot and shunning from American voters.
The leftist candidate running for president is a fraud. The unemployed Cornel West is running for the Green Party nomination. He is trying to garner the white vote.
Cause I know Black voters are not backing this guy. I am definitely not backing this guy.
West has some embarrassing news coming his way. Mind you he was trashing Barack Obama and Joe Biden. He backed Bernie Sanders in 2016 and 2020. He backed Nina Turner in 2021 and 2022.
He palling around with Robert P. George, Tavis Smiley, Candace Owens, Gavin McInnes, Sean "Softball" Hannity, Ye, Jill Stein and Washed Up 45.
Cornel West lost his tenure after going ballistic at Lawrence Summers during his Harvard days. West was not in classes, inflating grades and too busy making a name for himself instead of teaching. Like this doofus "professor" name Anthony Zenkus, a leftist who backed Russian operative Tara Reade's bogus sexual assault claims against Biden. He has two stints at Harvard and both times, he became a problem.
He has taught at Union Theological Seminary, Yale University, Harvard University, Princeton University and Dartmouth College. He had conflict with each institution and burnt bridges with staffers.
He has married five times. Hilda Holloman, Ramona Santiago, Elleni Gebre Amlak and
Leslie Kotkin must have found him attractive as an intellectual. However, they divorced him because of his wandering eyes. He probably was insufferable as a husband and his politics probably drove them out of their homes. He is married to Annahita Mahdavi, his fifth wife. It may not last long.
He is literally broke.
Records show West owes nearly $466,000 in federal income taxes from 2013 until 2017. This came after he accrued (and later repaid) a debt of nearly $725,000 from 1998-2005, and more than $34,000 in 2008, according to tax records in Mercer County, New Jersey – where he owns a home.
Additionally, West has an outstanding $49,500 child support judgement from 2003, records show.
The debts were first reported by the Daily Beast.
The tax debts have not been paid off as of 30 days ago – the last available data, according to Mercer County records. ABC News reached out to West and his campaign to see if West had plans to pay off the debt or set up a payment plan; they have not returned those requests for comment.
The outstanding child support payment is owed to Aytul Gurtas, his former partner and mother of one of his children. ABC News was unable to reach Gurtas for comment.
While it's not clear how long West didn't pay child support, New Jersey family lawyer Kathleen Stockton said that the amount of money appears substantial. The average U.S. child support obligation is about $5,800 per year, according to census data, making West's nearly $50,000 more than eight times that.
Stockton noted that it is possible West paid Gurtas and didn't register it with the court – though West has given no indication of that.
When the question of his debts was brought up on The Breakfast Club radio morning show last week, West told the radio show host "Charlamagne the God" that they were being used as a "distraction" from his presidential campaign, which has focused on ending poverty, mass incarceration and environmental degradation.
"Any time you shine a flashlight under somebody's clothes, you're gonna find all kind of mess, because that's what it is to be human," West said.
Earlier on the show, West mentioned he was "broke as the Ten Commandments financially, personally, collectively."
West's debts are personal, not related to the campaign, so they may not directly bear on the finances of his candidacy. Still, personal finance issues have been known to interfere with campaigns: Florida Sen. Marco Rubio's sometimes imprudent management of his own finances were scrutinized during his 2016 campaign for president, and then-Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's personal debt seemed to undermine his message of fiscal hawkishness.
According to West's financial disclosure filed with the Federal Election Commission in August 2023, he currently makes at least $200,000 annually. That includes his professorship at the Union Theological Seminary, where his annual income falls upward of $100,000; his speaking engagements, where he makes at least another $100,000; and his retirement fund, which earns him somewhere between $5,000 and $15,000 annually. His spouse, a professor, makes at least $50,000 per year.
Kedric Payne, an ethics lawyer with the Campaign Legal Center, said in an email to ABC News that the U.S. Office of Government Ethics advises candidates to disclose debts the size of West's.
"The federal disclosure law requires candidates for president to report liabilities owed over $10,000. Child support is excluded, but OGE advises that overdue taxes are reportable. If West in fact owes taxes, voters have a right to know why this isn't disclosed," Payne wrote.
West's associate, author Christopher Phillips described West as "authentic" and someone who hasn't hesitated to spend his own money to help others.
Phillips, who said he has known West for eight years, said that when he first met West over the phone, the scholar volunteered to lecture and spend time with his students at the University of Pennsylvania, where Phillips was a writing fellow.
"He said he could come down on his own nickel, and he spent the entire day breaking philosophical bread with my students … just because he likes what I do," Phillips said.
The campaign did not respond to ABC News' multiple requests for comment.
The Dallas Police still haven't learned their lesson.
When Botham Jean was killed by an off duty Dallas Police officer, the agency promised to reform. But so far there were more police shootings of unarmed suspects, more brutal abuse by officers and insults towards suspects.
Here we have a military veteran who was left with a permanent disability denied services and told that he was banned from entry. He literally urinated on himself because the pizza restaurant and Dallas Police disrespect him.
They laughed at him and it was caught on body camera.
Four Dallas police officers were caught on video laughing about a disabled veteran urinating on himself after he was denied access to a restaurant bathroom.
The veteran, Dynell Lane, told the Dallas Community Police Oversight Board that he asked two off-duty police officers who were working security at Serious Pizza to review his medical paperwork at around 2:15 a.m. on June 10 after employees said he couldn't use the restrooms, The Dallas Morning News reported.
Lane called 911, but officers did not arrive in time, and he said he left after he had a "urine and bowel leak issue," the paper reported.
Two on-duty police officers arrived at the restaurant, and body-camera footage shows them asking the off-duty cops about someone who reported having "pissed themselves," according to the local paper.
"So you guys made a guy pee himself?" one of the on-duty officers said while laughing and bringing her a fist to her mouth.
One of the off-duty officers smiles and says, "Yeah," while the other one questions: "He called 911?"
When the on-duty officers respond affirmatively, one of the off-duty officers exclaims, "Ah!" and slaps his knee while laughing, the paper reported.

"He got mad you guys wouldn't let him use the restroom, and then he calls back and said it's OK; he doesn't need to pee anymore because he soiled —" one of the on-duty officers says before the other one appears to shut off the body camera filming the exchange.
"The Dallas Police Department failed me," Lane told oversight members, the Dallas Morning News reported. "Two Dallas police officers discriminated against me and declined to assist me in bridging the gap between myself and the Serious Pizza manager."
Several states, including Texas, have a restroom access law known as "Ally's Law," which requires establishments to allow individuals with certain medical conditions to access their restroom facilities when needed.
"If a retail establishment chooses to ignore a person who is trying to present such documents, they should be held accountable," Lane told the oversight board, the paper reported. He added that this is one of the reasons the Americans with Disabilities Act is in place.
The department's internal-affairs division initially found that the officers did not violate department policy, the paper reported.
The noise is loud. The facts are the only thing that matter.
The president and first lady will head to Maui, one of the Hawai'ian Islands effected by deadly wildfires. President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States are expected to tour the island and meet with families and first responders.
The junk food media constantly dogged Biden for not going. I mean, a presidential visit will shut down roads, airspace, waterways and inconvenience those not affected. I mean the first responders need all the resources and it could be five hours of delay due to a presidential visit. Biden wanted to be careful by not allowing his presence disrupt the cleanup and recovery process.
As with Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Washed Up 45, Biden is facing backlash for not doing a photo-op in the wake of a natural disaster.
The most infamous of natural disasters was Hurricane Katrina.
Bush was golfing and on his vacation when the catastrophe storm hit Louisiana and Mississippi. Bush was pressured to appear and it was a disaster. Due to Republicans cutting government spending, FEMA was not prepared for this.
Washed Up 45 was golfing during the coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic spreaded from coast to coast and he ended ignoring the threat in late 2019. The former president closed an Obama administration
Biden and first lady vow that the U.S. will help.
The far right and far left were complaining thar Biden took a vacation while Maui burned.
Far right media and celebrity agitating website The Shade Room were reporting that Biden was offering $700 to families who lost homes to the wildlife.
That is not true.
President Joe Biden faces heat for not traveling to Hawai'i.
It is supplemental food assistance as well as incentives to help Maui's residents to get supplies.
The Bidens will halt their vacation for a day on Monday to visit Maui, where a wildfire ripped through the historic town of Lahaina and killed at least 114 people. They will meet with survivors, first responders, and local officials while surveying the damage.
Biden was on top of it from the very moment the fires began to spread.
Biden declared that a major disaster exists in the State of Hawai'i and ordered Federal aid to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by wildfires beginning on August 8, 2023, and continuing.
The President’s action makes federal funding available to affected individuals in Maui County.
Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster.
Federal funding also is available to state and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for debris removal and emergency protective measures in Maui County, and assistance for emergency protective measures for Hawai'i County.
