Looks like President Donald J. Trump is firing his second Attorney General out the cannon.
William Barr was a loyal soldier in the Trump army. I guess his failure to indict,Trump’s rivals Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton was one of the major issues. The biggest issue was Barr confirming the U.S. Elections were fair and there were no reports of voter fraud.
Trump announced that Barr “resigned” on social media. Actually, Trump fired him and was planning on doing so. Barr carried the Trump mantra of “law and order” and showed immense loyalty despite the legal repercussions.
Trump fired Barr shortly after the Electoral College confirmed Biden as the next President of the United States.
Barr was getting fed up with Trump’s slick talking about the way he handled the elections.
White House aides tried to discourage Trump from firing Barr. The president didn’t give a fuck about what they said. He said he had to go. The White House denies that Barr was forced out or fired out the cannon.
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany was on Fox News basically saying that Trump was done with Barr.
...Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen, an outstanding person, will become Acting Attorney General. Highly respected Richard Donoghue will be taking over the duties of Deputy Attorney General. Thank you to all! pic.twitter.com/V5sqOJT9PM
Barr said that allegations of voter fraud would continue to be reviewed, despite affirming earlier this month there had been no widespread evidence of widespread fraudulent voting. He also praised the president for persisting despite what he described as relentless political opposition.
Barr came in shortly after Trump fired Jeff Session out the cannon.
Barr meddled in the Robert Mueller investigation. He intervened in the cases involving Michael Flynn, Sr. and Roger Stone, Jr.
Barr forced U.S. Attorneys resign. The attorneys were pushing for lengthy bids for Flynn and Stone but Barr threw a wrench in the matter on behalf of Trump. It led to Trump pardoning Flynn and Stone.
Barr even ignored the facts that Russia meddled in the U.S. elections. He went with talking points straight out of Sean “Softball” Hannity’s ass.
Barr ordered authorities to disperse a large peaceful crowd of protesters near the White House so Trump can walk free to the nearby St. John’s Church to do his infamous bible hold.
He also didn’t take the side of E. Jean Carroll, the woman who accused Trump of sexual assault.
He didn’t seem to care about the Black Lives Matter protests. He considered Antifa, a loosely based group that protests against fascism, a bunch of terrorists.
Barr even considered intervening in the matter involving that white terrorist who killed two protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin days after the Jacob Blake shooting.
Barr will not be missed. Trump also announced that Jeff Rosen will be the acting Attorney General.
“I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you are saying, please try again!”
Alphabet, Inc. the company that owns Google and its products confirms it was down at least for an hour. The folks at Google were having a problem and it affected the search engine, YouTube, Gmail, Google Docs and every service under the brand.
The world depends on Google. Uh over 3.3 billion use the server.
Google Assistant, the “Hey Google” and “Okay Google” function was down.
Nest Hub was down for a brief moment. So that means if someone wanted to break in your home, it would have been the best time to get in.
The outage went down in the U.S., Great Britain, The Netherlands and Japan.
Google had managed to get things back to normal around 8am (EST).
Uh, me thinks it was a hacking into their servers. The U.S. confirmed that hackers broke into the networks of the Treasury and Commerce departments as part of a monthslong global cyberespionage campaign revealed Sunday, just days after the prominent cybersecurity firm FireEye said it has been breached in an attack that industry experts said bore the hallmarks of a Russian tradecraft.
The Russian government has been toying with a global attack against the U.S.
President Donald J. Trump is eliminated from winning his election. Russian Federation president Vladimir Putin is a staunch critic of President-elect Joe Biden.
Have fun with Google.
The Russians wanted to make sure the U.S. is in chaos. Trump is doing the work. With Russian influence peddling, the Trump campaign is pushing around voter fraud, “Stop The Steal” and Q’Anon based conspiracies.
Google, Facebook and Twitter have warned individuals posting that nonsense will be permanently disabled from using their services. They warned Trump will no longer have the immunity that comes with their services.
The U.S. continues to fall behind in cybersecurity. Thanks to Trump’s failure to handle matters, our country is less safer. The pandemic is killing over 350,000 Americans and he’s spending most of his time whining about an election he lost.
Donald J. Trump, Sr. may go down in history as one of the country’s worst presidents. He already surpassed George W. Bush, as the worst president. Bush was ranked 40 out of 45.
Now Bush went up to 35. Not an improvement but he’s better than James Polk, James Buchanan and Andrew Johnson. Trump is right now at 41 out of 45.
The United States is the sixth country to approve the COVID-19 vaccines. The Pfizer vaccine and Moderna vaccine will be distributed to the country. It was a long way to getting the vaccine but first responders, federal officials like President Donald J. Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will be getting it.
In New York City, a Black nurse will be the first American to be getting the vaccine.
UPS and FedEx have committed to shipping the vaccine to the hospitals. The vaccine must be kept at temperatures at -94 Fahrenheit.
Sandra Lindsay is an American hero.
Sandra Lindsay was the first American to receive the vaccine. She took it the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens. The borough of Queens has one of the worst COVID-19 cases in the state.
New York governor Andrew Cuomo watched as Sandra gets the vaccine in her left arm.
“It didn’t feel any different from taking any other vaccine. I feel hopeful today, relieved. I feel like healing is coming. I hope this marks the beginning of the end of a very painful time in our history. I want to install public confidence that the vaccine is safe,” Lindsay said.
“This is the light at the end of the tunnel. But it’s a long tunnel,” said Cuomo.
Trump as expected took credit for the vaccines.
First Vaccine Administered. Congratulations USA! Congratulations WORLD!
The shipments of the frozen vaccine vials began arriving at hospitals around the country first thing this morning so health care workers, as well as nursing home residents, can be the first to receive the shots in a bid to beat the pandemic.
Over 350,000 Americans are expected to be dead from the coronavirus.
Right now we’re at 320,000.
Three stages of distribution will take place between December 2020 and August 2021..
First stage
Health care workers
Nursing home and long-term care facility workers and residents.
The 50 states and the District of Columbia will gather today for the Electoral College. Each state will cast two votes. One for president, one for vice president. As expected, Joe Biden will be the 46th President of the United States.
There are 538 electors. Each state has a number of electors which equals the combined total of its congressional delegation, and each state legislature is free to determine the method it will use to select its own electors.
The electors will meet in each state and cast their ballots. Each elector votes on his or her won ballot and signs it. The ballots are immediately transmitted to various people: one copy goes to the president of the U.S. Senate (that is Vice President of the United States); this copy that will be officially counted later. Other copies go to the state’s secretary of state, the National Archives and Records Administration, and the presiding judge in the district where the electors meet (this serves as a backup copy that would replace the official copy sent to the president of the Senate if it is lost or destroyed),
Biden and Kamala Harris certification means that President Donald J. Trump is officially and finally eliminated from the race.
Trump has not conceded yet. But the reality is that it’s over!
No concession is needed from Trump for Biden to become president, none has been offered and Trump may never admit he was beaten fair and square.
Now the feds are watching the electors making sure they safely cast their ballots.
“Why did the Swing States stop counting in the middle of the night?” @MariaBartiromo Because they waited to find out how many ballots they had to produce in order to steal the Rigged Election. They were so far behind that they needed time, & a fake “water main break”, to recover!
Democrats weakened the Signature Verification (and other) safeguards in Georgia. @staceyabrams played @BrianKempGA & Secretary of State, for fools. Consent Decree, which is terrible for Republicans (and honest people!), must be opened up NOW - David, Kelly, and I will then win!
Swing States that have found massive VOTER FRAUD, which is all of them, CANNOT LEGALLY CERTIFY these votes as complete & correct without committing a severely punishable crime. Everybody knows that dead people, below age people, illegal immigrants, fake signatures, prisoners,....
Trump supporters have chatter online threatening violence. The feds are monitoring websites and watching for potential terrorist attacks.
Never in my life, have I seen such fury over an election. Yes, Hillary Clinton lost in 2016. I was disappointed and angry but I didn’t threaten Trump or Vice President Mike Pence. I didn’t call the election a fraud.
I believed that Trump used Russian intelligence to help him win though. He tried this shit again with the Hunter Biden laptop and this time social media was ahead of the curve. They knew that if Trump and his allies continue to push misinformation, they would lose their impact to generate revenue.
It is over! Donald Trump and Mike Pence are eliminated.
Trump sucked. I really believe he may go down in history as one of America’s worst presidents.
This pandemic is a prime example of the failures he will never accept. He allowed 350,000 Americans to die from this coronavirus pandemic. He now wants credit for getting the vaccines out to Americans. He wants credit for the good and passes the blame to others for the bad.
You can’t be president. The president is the head of state. He is the buck that stops here.
The Congress is the legislative body that passes bills. The Supreme Court is the final say in disputes that involve state and federal issues. The president is the prime ambassador, the people’s person, the signer of legislation, the commander in chief and the man/woman in charge of millions.
Trump will not see himself as a failure. His supporters will not see him as a failure. Reality will soon settle in when January 20, 2021 comes. When Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. and Kamala Devi Harris take the oath of office to become the next President and Vice President of the United States.
Cleveland will change its baseball club's name and logo.

Conservatives are riled up over everything. From President Donald J. Trump losing his election to athletes taking a knee during sporting events, conservatives have expressed outrage at the world.
Now they’re worked up over Major League Baseball’s oldest club finally ending its controversial namesake. The Cleveland Indians will no longer use the namesake nor the mascot Chief Wahoo in the future.
The MLB franchise said that the decision came shortly after Washington, DC decided to end its namesake.
The Washington Football Team is currently looking for a permanent name but it dropped the Redskins. The Kansas City Chiefs have also ended themes in regards to Native American culture.
They are retiring the offensive Chief Wahoo.
The 2021 season will be the final year for the team to use the namesake.
It was like this for 105 years.
Oh no! What is going on? This is not good news, even for “Indians”. Cancel culture at work! https://t.co/d1l0C9g6Pd
For years, the team was culturally offensive to Native Americans and First Nations.
The death of George Floyd has changed a whole lot of things. It made President-elect Joe Biden pick Kamala Harris as his running mate. It forced the removal of Confederate statues and naming of buildings, roads and parks. It forced the attention to transgender women of color being killed. His death changed the political landscape.
Had Trump had sympathy towards George Floyd and other people of color being killed by police and white vigilantes, he would have clinched enough support to carry him into a second term.
But alas, he will continue to dig his grave. After all, he’s dead to the world leaders.
What should be the new name for the Cleveland MLB club?
Trump got riled up over the decision.
Anyway, it’s about time for us to turn the page on racism.
Legendary actress Carol Sutton died Friday at the age of 76 from complication of COVID-19.
New Orleans LaToya Cantrell announced her passing.
The New Orleans native built an extensive list of credits, including Steel Magnolias, Queen Sugar and Lovecraft Country according to her IMDb page.
Cantrell praised Sutton, saying she “was practically the Queen of New Orleans theater, having graced the stages across the city for decades.
“The world may recognize her from her performances in movies and on TV -- whether it’s Treme or Claws, or Runaway Jury or Queen Sugar -- but we will always remember her commanding stage presence, her richly portrayed characters, and the warm heart she shared with her fellow cast and crew in productions such as 4000 Miles and A Raisin in the Sun. May she rest in God’s perfect peace,” said Cantrell.
Sutton was born in December 1944 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She later enrolled at Xavier University but dropped out after marrying Archie Sutton, who she later divorced. She worked for Total Community Action and earned certification in early childhood development from Texas Southern University.
She devoted her life to the theater and also served as an acting teacher in New ORleans. She recorded a large number of supporting roles in American film and television, participating in productions such as The Pelican Brief, Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh, American Horror Story: Coven, True Detective, Kidnap, The Last Exorcism and Killer JOe.
Sutton received a New Orleans Lifetime Achievement Award.
She leaves behind two children and five grandchildren.
A legendary country music icon passed away from complications of COVID-19.
Charley Pride, one of country music’s first Black superstar whose rich baritone on such hits as Kiss an Angel Good Morning helped sell millions of records and made him the first Black member of the Country Music Hall of Fame has died at the age of 86.
The Associated Press reports that the entertainer died in Dallas from complications of COVID-19. Jeremy Westby of the public relations firm 2911 Media confirms this.
“I’m so heartbroken that one of my dearest and oldest friends, Charley Pride, has passed away. It’s even worse to know that he passed away from COVID-19. What a horrible, horrible virus. Charley, we will always love you,” said Dolly Parton on social media.
Rest In Peace. My love and thoughts go out to his family and all of his fans. - Dolly (2/2)
Pride released dozens of albums and sold more than 25 million records during a career that began in the mid-1960s. Hits like Kiss an Angel Good Morning, in 1971 included Is Anybody Goin’ to San Antone, Burgers and Fries, Mountain of Love and Somebody Loves You Honey.
Born in Sledge, Mississippi, in 1934, Pride picked cotton, played baseball in the Negro leagues, served in the U.S. Army, and worked in a smelting plant in Montana before moving to Nashville and becoming country music’s first black superstar. He scored 52 Top 10 country hits, including 29 Number Ones, and was the first African-American performer to appear on the Grand Ole Opry stage since Deford Bailey made his debut in the 1920s. Pride became an Opry member in 1993. In 2000, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
After leaving the Army, Pride landed in Helena, Montana, where he continued to play baseball (Jackie Robinson was an early hero) and took a job in a smelting plant. He also began singing in public, where he caught the ear of a local DJ who arranged for Pride to sing for country stars Red Sovine and Red Foley. The pair convinced him to move to Nashville and, in 1964, he signed a management deal with longtime manager Jack D. Johnson. The following year, he had his first Nashville recording session and, a month later, signed with the label RCA.
Pride’s debut single, “The Snakes Crawl at Night,” failed to chart, but his debut album, Country, reached the Top 20. His 1967 album The Pride of Country Music went on to hit Number One and, that same year, he became the first African-American solo singer to appear on the Opry. On April 29th, he made his national TV debut, appearing on Lawrence Welk’s Saturday-night ABC music series.
A lifelong disciple of Hank Williams, Pride’s debut on The Lawrence Welk Show presented his vibrant take on Williams’ 1949 hit “Lovesick Blues.” During a later appearance, Pride sang Lead Belly’s oft-covered folk tune “Cotton Fields,” a song that reminded him of his hard upbringing as a sharecropper’s son. “[It] reminds me of what I don’t ever go back to doing because it hurt my fingers and my back and my knees,” Pride said.
Pride’s appearance on a variety show popular with a white audience was no small achievement, especially given RCA’s early penchant for obscuring Pride’s race. When Pride’s singles were sent to DJs and press, they arrived without the usual artist publicity photo.
An iconic country singer passed away from COVID-19. Charley Pride was a legend.
By 1969, Pride was on a hot streak, propelled by his Top Three cover of Hank Williams’ “Kaw-Liga.” He notched his first Number One single with “All I Have to Offer You (Is Me),” following by another chart-topper, “(I’m So) Afraid of Losing You Again.” The following year Pride released one of his signatures songs, “Is Anybody Goin’ to San Antone.” It too hit Number One. His other signature, “Kiss an Angel Good Mornin’,” arrived in 1971 and gave him a bona fide crossover smash, reaching Number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The hits continued well into the early Eighties, with singles like 1974’s “Then Who Am I,” 1977’s “More to Me,” 1980’s “Honky Tonk Blues” and “You Win Again” (two more Hank Williams covers), and 1983’s sultry “Night Games,” which would be his last Number One.
Listen to his albums here.
Despite being such an important black figure in country music, Pride never felt defined by his race, even when peppered with questions about it by the press. “I never see anything but the staunch American Charley Pride,” he told NPR in a 2017 interview. “They says, ‘Charley, how did it feel to be the Jackie Robinson of country music? How did it feel to be the first colored country singer? How did it feel to be the first Negro country singer? How did it feel to be the first black country singer?’ It don’t bother me, other than I have to explain it to you how I maneuvered around all these obstacles to get to where I am today…. I’ve got a great-grandson and [grand] daughter and they gonna be asking them that too if we don’t get out of this crutch we’ve been in all these years… this ‘them’ and ‘us.'”
In a 2019 documentary about his life and career, Pride did recall one particularly tense concert, however. It was in Big Springs, Texas, on April 4, 1968 — the date of Martin Luther King’s assassination. “I got onstage, nobody said nothin’,” Pride said. “They applauded, I got a standing ovation. I didn’t say nothin’ about nothin’ pertaining to what had happened. But it was hanging there, what had happened and me the only one there with these pigmentations. You don’t forget nothin’ like that.”
Dolly Parton, who sang with Pride on the duet “God’s Coloring Book,” remembered the country star in a tweet on Saturday. “I’m so heartbroken that one of my dearest and oldest friends, Charley Pride, has passed away,” she wrote. “It’s even worse to know that he passed away from COVID-19. What a horrible, horrible virus. Charley, we will always love you.”
Just last month, Pride, a three-time Grammy winner, was honored by the Country Music Association with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. He performed on the telecast with country singer Jimmie Allen, recreating “Kiss an Angel Good Mornin’.” It would be Pride’s final performance.
