American adult entertainer and activist Stormy Daniels settled with Columbus, Ohio after an improper arrest.
Dirty cops cost Columbus, half a million.
An adult entertainer and activist sues the Ohio city and settled. The dirty cops who arrested her are facing a potential cannon firing.
Stephanie Clifford, known as Stormy Daniels was arrested last year by the Columbus Division of Police Vice Unit on the grounds of inappropriate conduct. She was arrested, fingerprinted and given a mugshot.
She was doing a promotional tour in Columbus, Ohio. The club promoting her knew that they would attract a huge crowd. The Columbus Police knew as well.
So the vice unit came in plain clothes, grabbed a couple of drinks, and watched Stormy and two other Ohio based adult entertainers perform.
When a woman placed a few dollars in Stormy's bra, she motorboated her. Then Daniels smacked her butt.
That was enough to get the Columbus Police to shut down the event. The woman involved was a plain clothes vice. She was one of the many women who stroll Columbus streets as a decoy.
Columbus Police face numerous controversies. Some include the shooting of unarmed people of color.
Daniels, who is best known for making the accusation of sleeping with Donald J. Trump and getting a hefty amount to stay quiet became a focal point in the downfall of his ex-lawyer friend Michael Cohen.
Cohen who was told by Trump to authorize the payment was charged with tax fraud and campaign finance fraud was sent to federal time out in May. He got a four year bid.
Daniels was immediately granted a hefty get out free card and immediately left Ohio.
Stormy Daniels unfazed by the criticism. She doesn't care what Trump or his supporters think of her.
Her former attorney Michael Avenatti dug dirt into why Daniels was arrested. He would soon find out that the leading detective on the vice unit was supportive of Trump and Mike Pence. He and his unit were posting anti-Black Lives Matter and pro-Trump propaganda on their social media.
Daniels had her charges dropped a few weeks later. A state and federal probe soon followed. The Columbus Police had place the unit in the freezer. Those involved were punished and the unit was disbanded soon after.
The charges against fellow entertainers Miranda Panda and Brittany Walters were dropped as well.
The dirty cops who face a possible cannon firing include, Commander Terry Moore, Lt. Ron Kemmerling, Sgt. Scott Soha, Detective Steve Rosser and Detective Whitney Lancaster.
Daniels does promotional tours for her autobiographical book. She is assisted by her new bodyguard who doesn't play any games.
A central figure in exposing George W. Bush has passed away on Friday.
Joseph Charles Wilson, IV was an American ambassador who appointed by George H.W. Bush to serve U.S. Ambassador to Gabon and Sao Tome and Principe. He served the post in 1992 and stay on during Bill Clinton's term until 1995.
Best known for being the American diplomat who went to Niger to investigate allegations that Saddam Hussein was attempting to purchase yellowcake uranium; his New York Times op-ed piece, "What I Didn't Find in Africa," sparked fury among George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.
It debunked the claims that Iraq was building nuclear weapons.
They allegedly leaked the name of Wilson's second wife, Valerie Plame, a convert CIA agent.
Robert Novak wrote a column describing Wilson's wife which became a controversy within itself.
Who authorized the leak?
Joe Wilson with ex-wife Valerie Plame. Plame is running for Congress.
It led to Bush-Cheney ally I. Scooter Libby to be indicted and convicted of leaking a covert identity without permission. He was pardoned by Donald J. Trump in 2018.
Wilson and Plame were vilified by the far-white agitators.
Wilson passed away at the age of 69. He passed away of organ failure at his Santa Fe, New Mexico home.
"It is with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of a true American hero -- Ambassador Joe Wilson," said Valerie Plame in a statement. "He had the heart of a lion and the courage to match."
The couple had divorced in 2017.
Wilson leaves behind four children from Plame and his former wife Susan Otchis. Wilson was married three times.
Plame is running for the open seat being vacated by Rep. Ben Ray Lajan (D-NM). The lawmaker is running for the open seat being vacated by Sen. Tom Udall (D-NM) who is retiring in 2020.
GameStop is struggling. The games and toys company is closing dozens of stores.
American retail is suffering and Donald J. Trump isn't really concerned about the impact of it.
Another company is on the verge of filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
GameStop had announced they're going to close over 200 stores in the United States and Canada.
The company has 5,700 locations in the world.
The underperforming stores will be first to go. Within 12 to 24 months, the company will close the stores and consolidate locations.
GameStop blames the rise of subscription services and Amazon for the decline. Apple Arcade is coming and it's going to put a dent into Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft.
New hardware sales including game consoles dropped more than 41 eprcent, which the company blamed on announcements of next generation console launches next year; software sales decline 5.3 percent; accessories sales decreased 9.5 percent; and pre-owned sales dropped 17.5 percent.
The company, which saw sales in the second quarter decrease 14.3 percent to $1.3 billion.
GameStop has struggled throughout the years. It's one of the largest provider of video games, toys and computer software. It's been hard to compete with gamers downloading digital copies and going to subscription services like Gamefly.
Same store sales dropped 11.6 percent, the company announced this week.
Louisiana rapper Kevin Gates releases a sophomore album that pays homage to a deceased rapper.
Kevin Gates long awaited sophomore album is out. It pays homage to rapper/music producer Speaker Knockerz. The album I'm Him (I'm His Imperial Majesty) in nod to his conversion to Islam.
The rapper released his album today. It's distributed through Atlantic Records and his own Bread Winners' Association label.
With this album release, Gates (born Kevin Jerome Gilyard) is planning to tour.
After his release from the iron college, Kevin Gates decided to get into the studio. He decided to make a second album after he got out of "retirement." He was inspired by his wife, Dreka and his two children.
Kevin Gates with his wife Dreka.
His return to social media saw him posting a picture with the phrase "I'm Him," many fans speculating it to be the title of his second album. The albums singles were Push It and Facts.
They were included on the 17-track album.
There are no guest features on this album.
The rapper also had released an EP earlier this year. The album Only the Generals Gon Understand.
The six track album was released while Kevin Gates prepared for his sophomore album.
The Baton Rouge rapper announced the projected, titled I'm Him, back in late June along with the release of the album's lead single "Push It." Gates spoke about the 17-track effort in an August interview with Billboard, explaining his mental and physical evolution since the release of his 2016 debut album, ISLAH.
"I’m growing. I’m watching Kevin Gates grow. He’s growing. I’m proud of it. He’s starting to not make excuses. He’s starting to hold himself accountable. I’m proud of him. It took a little longer than it took for most people. Women mature faster than men, but I’m proud of him," he said. "... He came from nothing. Everybody talked about him. He was fat at one time. He’s been everything you can be."
Tears in the eyes of a murderer. The dirty cop takes the stand in her trial. Botham Jean's killer claims she was tired and didn't see the right door.
The dirty cop who shot a man inside his own apartment after she mistaken it as hers is on the stand defending herself.
We're in the second week and the possibly the closing statements of this trial.
This trial is controversial.
Many believe that the Dallas Police and Texas State Rangers are trying to cover up the murder. They believe that this dirty cop is getting special treatment.
The trial had a gag order from jury, the district attorney, the defendant, the defense lawyers and even the family. Somehow the district attorney who violated a gag order and it pissed off the judge who presides over it.
The dirty cop is trying to sob her way out of this. She had the backing of the lead investigator who claims that she didn't commit a criminal act. This dirty Texas Ranger who is a lead investigator in this thought a man in his own apartment minding his own business was a threat.
The death of Botham Jean has became a national story. A dirty cop who claims she worked a long shift entered his apartment mistaken it as her. She immediately fired upon Jean while he was sitting in his living room watching football.
She called 9-1-1 and told the operator that she "thought it was her apartment."
If Botham Jean was a cop and entered the wrong home and shot the owner, he would have been arrested, convicted and sent to the iron college. The killer is a 5'2" white woman who is hoping her white privilege and beauty sets her free.
The dirty cop was on the phone with the operator. Many pointed out that she didn't perform CPR on the victim. Many say that she was concerned about her job. Many provided that she was distracted texting with her lover, a fellow cop.
The trial is live right now. I am going to give you access to it. I refuse to mention the murderer's name. She doesn't deserve the title.
It's a hot mess.
I believe that the trial will result in a hung jury which means it could be sent to a different venue.
There are too many mistakes on the prosecutors. Especially since the prosecutors are probably friendly to the cops, it's almost impossible to say whether an accidental shooting is a murder.
Again, the suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If convicted, the dirty cop could be sent to the iron college for LIFE with no exit. The charges also have her pension on the line.
I swear if the jury finds her not guilty.......It's going to put cops lives in danger. Some deranged terrorist will plot a massacre of law enforcement. They will be riled up by the white privilege and unfair justice being served to people of color. They will take it out on individuals who had nothing to do with this cop.

The rapper revealed the next album title to be KIRK, an homage to his last name.
DaBaby has been on the forefront of controversy. He managed to beat a murder charge after an altercation in a North Carolina Walmart. He got into a fight with a man. The entertainer shot the man in the abdomen and the guy died soon after. Kirk said that he acted in self defense. Kirk was pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon, a misdemeanor.
He also got into a fight with fans and served a man a knuckle style chili.
The album is expected to chart No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 albums.
Food allergies are dangerous. If you're allergic to a certain food, it could be a death sentence.
Elementary school student choked on a carrot and died a few days later.
This happened in Massachusetts and it's gotten the attention of me and LeReyna.
This beautiful little girl died choking on a vegetable and her school didn't perform the necessary means to save her life.
Marilyn Ofobi Korankyewaa collapsed in a restroom after eating the carrot. The 10 year old girl was rushed to a local hospital in Worcester. She would die from her injuries.
The girl attended Belmont Community School in the city. She died on September 17.
Her family is trying to raise money for a proper burial. Her uncle set up a GoFundMe page to help secure enough funds for a proper burial and organ donation.
"Fortunately, she went in there with a friend, so the friend had to rush back to them when Marilyn was complaining she was choking on something," said the girl's uncle, Ken Asafo-Adjei.
School staff found the little girl unconscious before they immediately called 9-1-1.
The girl's family told the local junk food media, that the city is showing support and compassion.
"Going to the bathroom, nobody was there. We don't know what happened. I'm not saying this to blame, but if the school has a system in place, that will be good, a procedure," said John Amoah, the local pastor and family friend who spoke on-behalf of them.
Family members said the entire community has been supportive, including Worcester Mayor Joseph Petty. They said many of Marilyn's teachers came to visit her in the hospital.
This appears to be a heartbreaking accident, but Marilyn's family hopes the autopsy results will give them closure.
A food allergy is an abnormal immune response to food.
The symptoms of the allergic reaction may range from mild to severe. They may include itchiness, swelling of the tongue, vomiting, diarrhea, hives, trouble breathing, or low blood pressure. This typically occurs within minutes to several hours of exposure. When the symptoms are severe, it is known as anaphylaxis. A food intolerance and food poisoning are separate conditions, not due to an immune response.
Common foods involved include cow's milk, peanuts, eggs, shellfish, fish, tree nuts, soy, wheat, rice, and fruit. The common allergies vary depending on the country.
Marilyn Korankyewaa passed away from choking on a carrot.
Risk factors include a family history of allergies, vitamin D deficiency, obesity, and high levels of cleanliness. Allergies occur when immunoglobulin E (IgE), part of the body's immune system, binds to food molecules. A protein in the food is usually the problem. This triggers the release of inflammatory chemicals such as histamine. Diagnosis is usually based on a medical history, elimination diet, skin prick test, blood tests for food-specific IgE antibodies, or oral food challenge.
Early exposure to potential allergens may be protective. Management primarily involves avoiding the food in question and having a plan if exposure occurs. This plan may include giving adrenaline (epinephrine) and wearing medical alert jewelry. The benefits of allergen immunotherapy for food allergies is unclear, thus is not recommended as of 2015. Some types of food allergies among children resolve with age, including that to milk, eggs, and soy; while others such as to nuts and shellfish typically do not.
California teen being bullied dies. Now the bullies face criminal charges.
This is what we're sending our children to school for!?
Two California teens are facing a criminal charge for the involuntary death of a fellow teen.
The teen who is named Diego was given a knuckle style chili. It knocked him off his feet.
The 13-year old teen was seen on cellphone video getting served a hot plate. It started with a slight of hand to the back of his head. Then a hot plate to the face and chest. The serving got Diego to fall backwards and hit his head against a concrete pillar.
This happened at the Landmark Middle School.
The injury put Diego in a coma. After a week of failed treatment, they declared Diego was clinical brain dead and they had to pronounce him dead. Now the teens who served him that hot plate will face charges that could be bumped to adult homicide.
The Riverside County Sheriff's department at Moreno Valley said that they're saddened by the lost of this promising teen. They promise that those involve will face criminal charges.
The family have decided to donate Diego's organs to other children as a last gift to those who harmed their son. A child who never got the experience of going to a prom, getting his driver's license, marrying a person who loved him, having children and experiencing greatness.
Landmark Middle School has tributes and memorials for Diego.
All taken away by a bunch of teens who had some form of bigotry or hatred of this teen.
Obviously in California any charges that involve assault or involuntary manslaughter are serious criminal acts. The charges could put the teens in juvie for years or if they are charged as adults, they will face up to 40 years in the iron college if convicted.
The suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The school administration face the wrath. They were belittled by parents and students for not taking control of the situation. They believed that Diego was bullied by these individuals and school administrators didn't do much to stop it.
British journalist remarks about Trump got her in trouble.
The BBC had reprimand a commentator for criticizing Donald J. Trump's remarks about The Squad.
She said that remarks made by Trump aren't political opinions. She said they are racist and those who support the rhetoric are enablers of racism.
When Trump went after Reps. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rashida (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) it brought a great deal of controversy. The remarks "go back" had touched a nerve with people of color.
Naga Munchetty was not pleased with the remarks. As a woman of color, she was offended as well.
"Every time I have been told as a woman of color to go home, to go back where I came from, that was embedded in racism,. Now I'm not accusing anyone of anything here but you know what certain phrases mean," she said.
Asked by a co-presenter how she felt about the comments, Munchetty said it made her furious.
"Furious. Absolutely furious. And I can imagine that lots of people in this country will be feeling absolutely furious that a man in that position feels its OK to skirt the line using language like that."
Now the BBC decided to drop a hammer on her for expressing her opinion.
They said that she went "beyond what the guidelines allowed for."
She wasn't punished for the remarks as of yet. But there was an outpouring of support from Brits and Americans who felt the decision to punish her was unfair.
BBC correspondent Sangita Myska went to social media to defend her
"Right now, there is a lot of bewilderment among BAME staff."
BAME is acronym for Black, Asian, Minority ethnic.
A BBC spokesman quoted by BBC News said: "While Ms. Munchetty was entitled to give a personal response to the phrase 'go back o you own country' as it was rooted in her own experience, overall her comments went beyond what the guidelines allowed for."
Munchetty is a presenter on BBC One's BBC World News, BBC Breakfast and Victoria Debryshire.
On her spare time, she is an avid golfer. She has a handicap of nine. She also plays jazz trumpet and classical piano. She also makes cocktails. She learned the trait of mixology while working at bars and pubs.
Antonio Brown called the NFL a plantation and took a shot at Robert Kraft for his own sexual abuse allegations.
Former NFL football player slams The New England Patriots owner. He said that Robert Kraft is a dirty ass pervert and he should face the same fate.
The Patriots let Antonio Brown go after he faced accusations of sexual abuse from two women.
Brown now wants his contract fulfilled and a chance to reenter the NFL.
The allegations of Brown sending threatening texts to an accuser and the person who wrote the story got Kraft upset.
The 31-year old star said he was "through playing with the league." He obviously was not serious about that.
Brown happened to mention the scandals that plagued the Patriots owner. This year, Kraft was arrested for soliciting services from prostitutes at a massage parlor in Florida. Brown said that the standards are different for white owners, white athletes and white commentators.
It was only this year, Robert Kraft was caught up in a sex scandal. He was implicated in a sex trafficking scandal.
Brown said the league is corrupt.
He took shots at Shannon Sharpe who is facing accusations of sexual assault.
He took aim at former teammate Ben Roethlisberger who was investigated for sexual assault.
Brown also was pleased that Patriot fans went after the Sports Illustrated reporter who brought to light the story.
Many in the league are concerned that he has tainted his chances at being signed to a team.
The feds bust a dirty police chief. He was accused of implicated bias towards Black citizens.
There was a dirty cop caught on tape making racist remarks before and after he was accused of bashing a handcuffed black teen's head into a door frame acknowledges his past thetoric about African Americans is repulsive, but argues bigoted statements aren't illegal -- even for a cop.
The dirty cop was the police chief for Bordentown Township, New Jersey. He was one of the few cops who actually faced a federal sandwich. His violent encounter towards Timothy Stroye.
The dirty cop's trial began on Friday. During the opening remarks, the attorney representing him admitted that his client shouted racial slurs and threats of violence towards Black people.
The incident that happened at the Ramada Inn.
Stroye and his girlfriend were with her aunt, uncle and three cousins when they rented a room.
Stroye was later accused of not paying for a room.
He and his girlfriend were in the swimming pool when the hotel staff called the law on him. The dirty cop came to the hotel and they got into an argument. Stroye was maced in the face. He had an asthma attack and the dirty cop would soon wrestle him to the ground.
The cop signaled a 99 and other officers arrived. The dirty police chief was three and decided to handle the matters. Stroye was arrested. The dirty chief shoved his head into a glass door while he was in handcuffs and being escorted to a patrol car. The dirty chief would then slam his head against the patrol car's door as Stroye was being placed inside.
Stroye was charged with resisting arrest, assault on an officer, and theft after the incident.
He took a plea deal. He served 180 days in the county lockup and got two years in-house.
New Jersey man lucky to be alive. He had his head smashed into a patrol car and was verbally threatened with death.
After the arrest, the dirty chief and his cops were discussing the arrest. The dirty chief would make the racial comments and call Stroye a "dirty ass NIGGER." He said that that "NIGGER better stay the fuck out of Bordentown."
A whistleblower cop told the junk food media that the dirty chief made inappropriate comments about Blacks, immigrants and progressives.
One recorded conversation that came to light was the remarks about a Black woman being arrested.
"I'm tired of them man. I'll tell you what, it's getting to the point where I could shoot one of these motherfuckers. And that NIGGER bitch lady, she almost got it."
The same cop who recorded this dirty chief making comments about a Black man who he accused of slashing tires on a police vehicle.
"These NIGGERS are like ISIS, they have no value. They should line them all up and mow 'em down. I'd like to be on the firing squad, I could do it. I used to think about if I could shoot someone or not, I could do it, I'm tired of it."
This dirty police chief could face 20 years in federal time out if convicted. He is losing his pension.
The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
St. Paul Police shot and kill mentally ill man armed with a knife.
BE WARNED THERE WILL BE GRAPHIC VIDEO
How many men of color are going to die at the hands of the police?
Once again, we talk about the death of people of color at the hands of police. Many African American men are often shot. Whether they're armed or unarmed, police officers in the United States and Canada often see Black men as a danger.
You heard about the white mass shooter who murdered a minor league baseball star's family. The white terrorist stripped himself to the nude and started attacking police and an innocent bystander.
The white cop who was being chased by the suspect deployed the Taser and tried to wrestle him to the ground. He didn't bother grabbing his firearm and shooting this guy.
The suspect was caught without a bullet fired.
You have that dirty Dallas Cop who shot Botham Jean. She is trying to use the "I feared he was in my house" as an excuse to the reckless homicide of that unarmed Black man. That dirty cop was pictured on camera texting her boyfriend, a fellow cop. Her family were caught on camera with politically bias or racially offense images. She is hoping to make the jury see her fatal shooting of an unarmed individual as an accident and not cold-blooded murder.
Again, cops aren't babysitters. They're not therapists. They are individuals who swore a duty to serve and protect the communities they've pledge their lives to. Mind you that 60% of law enforcement officers manage to make it home after a shift. The other 40% are often killed in the line of duty by a suspect who managed to get the drop on them.
We here at Journal de la Reyna do not condone violence against police officers, people of color and those in the news. We just address issues that face people of color, the communities they represent, the governments that we hold accountable and the controversies in the junk food media.
This is an opinion website. We are entitled to an our opinions. We don't have to be objective towards those who disagree with us. We have a responsibility to our readers.
We don't answer to trolls or cynical individuals.
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER ONE THREAT IN THE UNITED STATES. THERE IS NO GOD! GOD IS NOT FIXING THIS!
Again, I am getting tired of hearing "thoughts and prayers." I am sick of it.
The moment the cop shoots Davis.
Thoughts and prayers, thoughts and prayers. Thoughts and prayers will not heal the wounded or bring back the dead. These are worthless platitudes and we have to stop pretending like we care about individuals we never met in our lives. Hashtag activism is not going to stop the ongoing crisis that faces people of color. We need to get motivated to run for office. We need to elect leaders who will change the status quo.
We can't let the opposition try to break us. If you're tired of platitudes and the status quo, it's time to vote. Vote to change the narrative. Hold your local, state and federal officials accountable.
WHEN COPS SEE A BLACK MAN WITH A FIREARM REGARDLESS OF IT BEING LEGAL OR ILLEGAL, THEY AUTOMATICALLY SHOOT THE BLACK MAN. EVEN AN UNARMED BLACK MAN JUST REACHING FOR A WALLET OR A DOOR HANDLE COULD BE KILLED BY THE COPS. THE POLICE AND JUNK FOOD MEDIA TRY TO MAKE THE VICTIM, "THE BAD GUY" BY BRINGING UP HIS PAST HISTORY, HIS SOCIAL MEDIA OR HIS FAMILY LIFE. MANY WHITES (IN LARGE GROUPS) HAVE FIREARMS IN FRONT OF POLICE AND THEY NEVER GET SHOT OR KILLED. WHY AREN'T THEY AFRAID OF THEM? WHENEVER SOMEONE COMPLAINS ABOUT LACK OF BLACK FATHERS, I CONTINUE TO DENOUNCE THIS BULLSHIT. I REMIND THEM THAT THE POLICE KILL BLACK FATHERS. THE POLICE LEAVE CHILDREN OF COLOR WITHOUT A BLACK FATHER. AND NO AMOUNT OF MONEY COULD BRING THE PEACE AND TRANQUILITY TO THE FAMILIES OF THOSE KILLED BY THE COPS. FOR EVERY BAD COP, THERE WILL BE A DEAD COP! I DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET OR THE COP'S VERSION.
DONALD J. TRUMP, REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS ARE INEPT. THEY ARE NUMB TO GUN VIOLENCE. THEY CONTINUE TO ALLOW FIREARMS IN THE HANDS OF TERRORISTS AND BAD COPS. EXPECT MORE COPS SHOOTING UNARMED OR LEGALLY ARMED PEOPLE OF COLOR. EXPECT COPS TO WALK WHEN THEY CLAIM THEY USED DEADLY FORCE BECAUSE THEY FEARED FOR THEIR LIVES. EXPECT MORE MASS SHOOTINGS. EXPECT GOOD COPS TO BE KILLED BY TERRORISTS. POLICE DEPARTMENTS CONTINUE TO ALLOW BAD COPS AND CORRUPT POLICE UNIONS TO REIGN STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM UPON PEOPLE OF COLOR. POLICE KILLING PEOPLE OF COLOR IS STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM. BEING A COP IS A THANKLESS JOB. THEY CONTINUE TO SERVE AND PROTECT IN AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS JOB. THOSE CHARGED ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW. WE DON'T CONDONE VIOLENCE AGAINST LAW ENFORCEMENT OR ANY HUMAN BEING.
The St. Paul Police released the body cam footage of an officer involved shooting of a knife-welding Black man. The dramatic body camera footage has emerged showing Ronald Davis armed with a knife charging at a St. Paul cop before he fatally shot the man.
St. Paul Police said their officer, Steve Mattson screamed warnings before firing at Davis on September 15 in the Midway neighborhood of St. Paul. The 31 year old ran at him with a knife.
Instead of deploying a Taser, the cop decided to use deadly force. How many white men with knives are shot within seconds of yelling a warning?
Davis probably had mental issues. Obviously, the junk food media and conservative agitators will say that this young man had a history of criminality. They would say that cops have to do their jobs to save lives.
What drives Black Lives Matter into the matter? They are saying that cops in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metroplex are often killing people of color without regards of consequences. They complain that non-lethal force was used on white suspects and deadly force on people of color. They believe that cops have complicit bias.
Why the cops use lethal force on mentally ill people of color?
The law released portions of the dash cam. The activists are calling for a full unedited video of the shooting.
The video starts with the cop exiting his vehicle when Davis can be seen running towards him. Davis had rammed into the back end of an officer's car.
The 31-year old man was carrying items in his hand which the law confirm were a flashlight and a knife.
As he moves out the way of Davis's attack, the officer shouts at him to drop the items. As Davis advances, the cop shoots Davis.
The St. Paul Chief of Police, Todd Axtell, supported the actions of the cop. He said that the cop had no other options in the matter.
The cop still had his hand on the service weapon when he called for assistance. He didn't render CPR or treated the wounded Davis.
The cop is currently in the freezer pending a state investigation into whether criminal intent or justifiable use of force was implied.
Gov. Mark Dayton, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Sen. Tina Davis (D-MN) and the eight lawmakers in the current Minnesota delegation should do something to change this.
