NAACP: Dayton Bus Driver Gotta Go!

The NAACP and local leaders want this "hero" bus driver fired.

The NAACP and members of the community want that lying bastard fired and prosecuted.

Unfortunately, Richard Biehl police chief for the city of Dayton was told that the county prosecutor wasn't going to do it. But the bus company that hired him is looking forward to put the brakes on his career.

Back in February, Ricky Wagoner claimed that he was working on his bus route for the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority. His bus broke down. He would exit his bus.

He claimed that a group of Black teens confronted him. They told the bus driver they were "polar bear" hunting and they happened to find him.

So what "these Black teens" did was shoot him and stab him. He wrestled the gun from "these Black teens" and fires back at them. He would enter the bus and finish his route.

 He claims that the bullets that travel hit his chest and it was deflected by a pocket size bible.

That turned out to be a damn lie.

Police said last week that Wagoner’s claim of being assaulted by the teens wasn't supported by the facts. He told authorities in February he suspected the assault was part of a gang initiation.

RTA representatives met with Wagoner Tuesday to begin the first step in the transit agency’s personnel process that could lead to Wagoner’s termination.

The meetings are the first steps in the hearing process in relation to the charges Mr. Wagoner faces at the RTA, according to Donaghy.

Wagoner’s legal representatives will get a chance to present evidence and introduce witnesses in his defense. “It’s a labor issue, not a legal proceeding,” Donaghy said.

Dayton’s City Prosecutor, Stephanie Cook, has declined to file charges based on the police investigation. She also has declined, through a city spokesman, to explain why no charges were filed.


The FBI, which investigated the incident as a possible hate crime against the white bus driver, has concluded that a crime of that type did not occur.

Wagoner repeatedly has declined comment. The attorney who represented him in the criminal investigation, Jeremiah Denslow said Tuesday, “From my understanding not only the Dayton police but the FBI has done a thorough investigation and a lengthy one. While they believe Mr. Wagoner was not truthful with them, I suspect the authorities didn’t feel they could prove it in a court of law.”

The investigation also has been reviewed by the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office. On Monday, a coalition of black civil rights groups including the NAACP asked County Prosecutor Mat Heck to consider charging Wagoner.

Office spokesman Greg Flannagan said Tuesday that the police investigation had the potential for misdemeanor charges, which would not be handled by the county prosecutor.

“Our office did have some discussions with the Dayton Police Department concerning this matter and we were assured any possible alleged charges would be misdemeanors. There would not be any felonies they could pursue.”

Target Fires CEO!

After today, the Target store in Trotwood, Ohio will officially close.

It's ironic that I happened to travel through the ghost town today. The local Target store today was boarding up its doors and it was taking down its sign. People were still inside shopping and some were exiting.

Target announced in December that they were closing up the store. Many residents were furious that the last national retail/grocer store is bailing out on the city.

That "ghost town" is Trotwood, Ohio, an inner suburb of Dayton has a terrible legacy. The city annexed most of the rural Madison Township in 1997 and became a city. When that occurred, the Ohio State Route 49 realigned from the formerly busy Salem Avenue to the outskirts of west Dayton.

Trotwood had a whole lot of anchor stores and businesses around the Salem Mall. Then all of sudden, the anchor stores to the mall close up shop and gradually it lead to the downfall of the once thriving community.

Now Trotwood and Middletown, Ohio are some of the cities scheduled to lose Target stores.

After desperate pleas from residents and city leaders, the megastore is closing up shop at least in these communities. They claim that sales at the Target stores were low and the best thing for the company to do is close up shop. Of course you can visit Huber Heights, Sugarcreek Township, Miami Township, Beavercreek and Springfield's locations. If you have to travel by bus, I guess it's an hour and half ride.

For a drive it's about 35 -60 minutes to each location respectively. Losing Target signals that most of the companies in the area are looking to drop Dayton for investments.

This is a major restructuring for the company. Last year the company suffered some negative publicity after it was revealed that hackers got into the company's website and stole credit card information from shoppers.

Target fires CEO.

Target was investigating a major data breach "potentially involving millions of customer credit and debit card records." The report quickly spread across news channels. On December 19, Target confirmed the incident via a press release, revealing that the hack took place between November 27 and December 15, 2013.

Target warned that up to 40 million consumer credit and debit cards may have been compromised. Hackers gained access to customer names, card numbers, expiration dates, and CVV security codes of the cards issued by financial institutions. On December 27 Target disclosed that debit card PIN data had also been stolen, albeit in encrypted form, reversing an earlier stance that PIN data was not part of the breach. Target noted that the accessed PIN numbers were encrypted using Triple DES and has stated the PINs remain "safe and secure" due to the encryption.

On January 10, 2014, Target disclosed that the names, mailing addresses, phone numbers or email addresses of up to 70 million additional people had also been stolen, bringing the possible number of customers affected up to 110 million.

Now all of sudden, the company is planning on releasing its CEO/president Gregg Steinhafel.

He has been the company's president since 1999, and has been with the company since 1979.

He became Chief Executive Officer in 2008.

He resigned on May 5th, 2014 due to the fallout from a massive consumer data breach in December 2013.

He will take a severance package $55 million on his way out.

Target's public stock took a nosedive after the announcement came forth.

While the Feds and Dayton Police look for the three suspects who stabbed and shot a Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority dus driver, I once again give my honest opinion about the situation facing the Black community whenever the media portray negativity upon the whole.

When it come to the tales of Black on White crime, the racist right is carrying that on its sleeve.

I gotta admit that this stuff happens in America. I mean Black on other race crime does occur in America.

But however, the way the media covers this is assured that conservative agitators will make this a political issue in the U.S. Midterms. Count on many of those extremists Tea Party Republicans to make the case to say that it's our faults for the nation's woes.

The racist right is crowing about the bus driver surviving a shooting at point blank range. The Message, a moderate size pocket bible deflected the bullets. But somehow the story doesn't check out. I mean I am kind of sketchy on the story from the jump. However, I hope the Feds nab these assholes. If it turns out to be a racial hoax, then I'll have a commentary on that soon.

This story and the "willful" abduction of Michaela Bruce by Mark Edwards got the nation in talking.

These issues involve Blacks doing criminal acts makes the whole community as a whole look bad.

See That Guy Who Throws Shit To The Wall is a prime agitator of the race stories. He along with Asshat Colin Flaherty drive this narrative that the "liberal media" is shielding Black criminals who commit acts towards White America.

They're trying to prove to the world that "us Black folks" are criminals.

Yeah, we're criminals for banging our music at a gas station. Yeah, those White men and women in fear of loud "thug" should put a bullet in us. Jordan Davis did that. He died because Michael Dunn was in fear of a loud bunch of thugs. I guess he's gotten off a murder charge. But yet managed to take a trip to the iron college for missing the other three teens riding with Jordan.

Yeah, we're criminals because we go to the local store and grab a few snacks. We happen to head to a gated community where my family lives. And out of nowhere, a man approaches me. He tries to be a cop by demanding us to stop. We don't stop so he approaches us. We get into an altercation and he decides to use his own weapon to stop me, a gun. So he kills. And he actually gets to walk a free man. See Trayvon Martin didn't do anything but go to his home and George Zimmerman decided to be a "hero".

The racist right sees Black America as worthless.

They don't give a f--- about us.

They rather see us lock-up in the iron college. They don't want us to vote. They want us to be broke and dead by our own hands.

In the age of Barack Obama, Americans are on food stamps, poverty is on the rise, unemployment is high, the world is spiraling into chaos and the Constitution is being ripped up by the lawlessness of this man and his cronies. This is the word vomit according to the racist right and their supporters.

You got to understand that the economy, while not perfect is doing actually well.

Yeah, its not fair that me and millions of Americans worked two or three jobs to survive. But at least people are hiring and the opportunities are growing for the long term unemployed.

The Republican Party and its allies are devoted to tearing America apart. They have no care for President Barack Obama and those of color. The party must devoid itself of its extremist elements.

Penny Pinching!

An abandoned Walmart in Wisconsin.

The nation's largest retailer has disappointing revenues. The controversy surrounding that involves Washington and the stubborn lawmakers who won't give the poor and middle class a break.

After all, these politicos are living high on the hog while the working class are struggling from day to day trying to keep food on the table.

I can testify. I work two jobs and still can't achieve the successes of the upper income and well off.

It's a shame though that Walmart relies on all their shoppers to stay vibrant.

Food stamps were cut last year and the Congress is planning on bringing up a bill that will engage in severe cuts to the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).

Whenever you hear That Guy Who Helped Obama Win rant on his right wing carnival about 50 million (previously 47 million according to the right wing agitators) being on food stamps, I think to myself that those on assistance are helping Walmart stay in business. I think that those on assistance keeps me working.

Shopping easy Walmart has reinvented its image with newer ways to attract shoppers.

For you see I work in the service industry. These people on assistance are spending money to keep food on my plate. They are keeping my hours plentiful.

With the rising costs of food, gas, energy consumption and tuition, people are turning to food stamps, food banks and various charities to gain access to necessities to keep themselves from landing in the homeless shelter.

Without a safety net, these people will rob and kill those who have the luxuries of having food in the refrigerator or in the pantry. They would steal fuel, water, bread and meat to keep feeding their families. And yet, these Republicans and their conservative allies are thinking the poor are the reasons for the economic recession. Perhaps those who complain about the poor, should walk a day in that person's shoes!

The Republican Party and its allies in the conservative movement are heartless when it comes to the lower and middle class. In their warped minds, the lower class and those who are too poor are stealing from the taxpayers by accepting food stamps, welfare and necessaries.

It does affect everyone.

The Huffington Post reports that Walmart struggled at the end of last year. But according to the retailer's new estimations, it wasn't because people didn't want to buy. It was because they couldn't.

The retail giant warned Friday that the effect of last year's national food stamp cuts on its bottom line will likely be deeper than the company previously estimated. As a result its comparable same-store sales -- a retail metric that measures how stores are doing year over year -- will likely be slightly down for the fourth quarter.

“The sales impact from the reduction in SNAP [the U.S. government Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program] benefits that went into effect Nov. 1 is greater than we expected,” Walmart’s Chief Financial Officer Charles Holley said in a news release Friday. “And, second, eight named winter storms resulted in store closures that impacted traffic throughout the quarter.”

The GOP-led push to cut food stamps benefits to the tune of $5 billion left 47 million Americans reeling during a time of near record-level food insecurity.

The racist right website The Blaze was tipped off by a cart load of necessities. In 2013 a glitch in the Louisiana EBT program caused a panic and people loaded carts full of groceries.

Because about 18 percent of all total food stamp dollars are spent at its stores, according to an October report from the Wall Street Journal, Walmart can serve as a way to gauge how Americans are coping.

Walmart executives were cautiously optimistic about the effects of the cut on Walmart's bottom line last year. "Everybody's benefit is going to get cut, price will become more important. And when price is more important, we're more relevant," Bill Simon, the retail giant’s U.S. CEO, said in October. He noted that Walmart’s market share actually decreased when the food stamp program initially expanded in 2009.

But the opposite hasn't held true so far, indicating that the poorest Americans are so pinched they can’t even afford to shop at the cheapest retailers. Family Dollar, another typical destination for Americans in a squeeze, also reported disappointing earnings earlier this month, which they blamed on factors including food stamp cuts, high unemployment and the payroll tax increase.
