Drake: [Meek Mill] Can't Survive Without A Feature!

Meek Mill's feud with Drake got ugly. Drake lined up two. Meek lined up one. Some are saying Meek better catch up. Some say that the 6-God buried Meek.

The feud continues. 6-God laid two hammers and nailed it. He aimed at Meek Mill.

The feud started when Meek laid a bombshell on the public. He criticized Drake for having a ghostwriter in the studio. He also blasted him for not promoting his second album.

Drake was not taking that accusation well. So he went into the studio and let him have it.

The first single Charge Up was a light tap but it was a hammer ringer. That was the sample of what Drake had coming to Meek. I mean I was somewhat alright to it.

But the next song Back-to-Back went hard. It went viral and it almost felt like Eminem destroying Benzino. I've listened to it and I said, damn he hit him harder than I've thought!

[Intro]
Oh man, oh man, oh man, not again

[Verse]
Yeah, I learned the game from William Wesley
You can never check me
Back to back for the niggas that didn't get the message
Back to back like I'm on the cover of Lethal Weapon
Back to back like I'm Jordan '96, '97
Whoa, very important and very pretentious
When I look back I might be mad that I gave this attention
Yeah, but it's weighin' heavy on my conscience
Yeah, and fuck, you left The Boy no options
I wanna see my niggas go insane
You gon' make me step out of my fuckin' frame
You gon' make me buy bottles for Charlamagne
You gon' make me go out of my fuckin' way
I waited four days, nigga, where y'all at?
I drove here in the Wraith playin' AR-AB
I'm not sure what it was that really made y'all mad
But I guess this is what I gotta do to make y'all rap
I mean woah, can't fool the city, man, they know what's up
Second floor at Tootsies, gettin' shoulder rubs
This for y'all to think that I don't write enough
They just mad cause I got the midas touch
You love her, then you gotta give the world to her
Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?
I know that you gotta be a thug for her
This ain't what she meant when she told you to open up more
Yeah, trigger fingers turn to twitter fingers
Yeah, you gettin' bodied by a singin' nigga
I'm not the type of nigga that'll type to niggas
And shout-out to all my boss bitches wife-in niggas
Make sure you hit him with the prenup
Then tell that man to ease up
I did another one, I did another one
You still ain't did shit about the other one
I got the drink in me goin' back to back
Yeah, goin' back to back
I got the drink in me goin' back to back
Yeah, I'm goin' back to back
I don't wanna hear about this ever again
Not even when she tell 'em that they better as friends
Not even when you sayin', "Drizzy, tell 'em again"
I been puttin' on a show, it was a sell out event
Oh, you need better seatin'
I didn't wanna do it, gave me every reason
The point I'm tryna make is I don't ever need 'em
Seen what you'd do for fame or what you'd do for freedom
Please, check 'em for a wire or a earpiece
Please, please do not let these niggas near me
Please, think before you come for the great one
Please, who's a real nigga and who ain't one?
Please, somebody stop me
I'm talkin' boasy and gwanin wassy
I got the fest in five days and it's my shit
Soon as a nigga hit the stage, they gon'
They gon' ask if I can play this shit back to back
Yeah, they want it back to back
They gon' ask if I can play this shit back to back
I took a break from Views, now it's back to that, nigga

Meek teased the fans with a taste of his response. He mocked Drake's singles for being "baby lotion" soft and "lol" his rhyme style. Meek even mocked the fact that this diss came without his ghostwriter.

So few days later, Meek Mill responded back with a single Wanna Know. The single aimed at Drake and it has his alleged ghostwriter and Diddy on it. It also mocked the rapper for being a rap Milli Vanilli.

[Intro]
I just wanna know how niggas going to jail
Telling on niggas, coming back home and it still being cool
I just wanna know how a nigga on Instagram and Twitter with fifty thousand followers
Ain’t got no money in real life, but still popping, I just wanna know
I wanna know, if a nigga ain’t really putting it in, but acting like he putting it in
Niggas still letting it fly like it’s cool, I really wanna know man
This shit getting different out here it’s getting spooky

[Verse 1: Meek Mill & Quentin Miller]
Now when that shit went down with Chris, you wrote a check
In New Orleans wore my chain to get respect (you a fraud)
So what that tell me? You a pussy and a fan
Say the wrong shit you know the shooters at your neck
I just wanna know, if you ain’t write that running through the six shit
Tell us who the fuck was Quentin running through the six with?
Running through the six with my woes
Counting money you know how it goes
All the real live forever baby
And the fake get exposed
Niggas writing for you cause you know you never did shit
When I threw that hook out, I was tryin' to catch a big fish
We the type of niggas to tie your mother up
Fuck your sister in the ass and hit your brother up, pussy
You really sweet, I call you buttercup
You fucking dork you changed the style because you studied us
Coming with the same flow
Switching up your lingo
We just want a refund, this ain’t what we paid for
Every time that we come, we get what we came for
Spitting another niggas shit, but you claim you king though?

[Hook]
I just wanna know, I just wanna know
How these niggas acting like they trill but really fake
And people acting like it go
I just wanna know, I just wanna know
Was it Quentin Miller? Was it Hush or was it Detail where you really got your flow?
(Milli Vanilli ass nigga)

[Verse 2]
Money make a fake ass nigga look real again
Money make a sucker that told look trill again
Says a lot about all the people that's feeling him
But I'ma show you bitch ass niggas we're real again
Heard that other nigga talking we ain’t get back yet
Let’s keep it short, nigga you ain’t get your chick back yet
And now she rocking with the chaser and now you missed that check
You went from Clear Port to buddy pass you miss that jet, hold up

[Interlude 1: Sample]
Cat, I got to take them off of here, that's right
I got to take them off of here, there’s only one
And that’s me, you understand?
'Fore all that fighting, you understand?
Sucka thinks he good
Sucka thinks he can whoop me
And I know he can’t whoop me and I
Hey boy, the nigga whole style is chump, you understand?
When it comes to me you understand
Let me get mines first
Then after I get mine, y’all can do what you wanna do

[Verse 3]
You know you fucked up right?
You shoulda just said nothing
Now you're going to have to give me a check to stop
All I hear is platinum that platinum this
Meanwhile I’m on the carpet with a platinum chick
I got a platinum rollie, platinum whip
Niggas frauds I told the truth, don’t ask me shit
All this industry fake enemy and rap shit
It’s never really my style we got cash to get
I really started from nothing now it’s back to shit
Puffy almost caught a domestic when he smacked that bitch
Hold up, let that bitch breathe

[Interlude 2: Diddy]
Yeah this is called poppin' shit
There’s no cut on it
There’s no cut on it
If your feelings get hurt
You feel like "oh, that’s an arrogant little comment..."
No this is the truth and the truth hurts
Haven’t I paid my dues?
Haven't I went through the storm?
Didn’t I weather the storm?
Niggas is gone and I'm here

[Outro]
You let Tip homie piss on you in a movie theater nigga, we ain’t forget
Real niggas back in style this shit is lit
This that Ja Rule shit and 50 Cent

Many rap fans went right for the bell and said that Drake laid the hammer. The hammer went through the board and Meek got hurt. Critics says that Meek didn't live up to the challenge.

So Meek is determined to go back into the studio to lay a harder rhyme. It's reported that he's releasing another one in the coming days.

So the social media went crazy on it. Automatically the stans say it's a no question, Drake won.

The Daily Beast is spreading a rumor. It's reported that Meek and Nicki Minaj broke up. I am not confirming this. Meek put a ring on it earlier this year. They're engaged. Nicki stayed out of it for the most part. It's true that the 6-God is friends with Roman Zolanski, and they defend each other.

When Lil' Kim went at Nicki, Drake went right to defense of her. He said that Kim need to retire the hardcore and stick to being washed up.

Okay, judge for yourself which rapper had the juice!

Drake or Meek Mill.

Rozay Gets A Free Card But Loses The Crib!

Rickrossmastermindtour.jpg
Boss up come $$$$. Rozay on home detention without a home.

Out of county lockup, Def Jam rapper Rick Ross has to give the keys of home to the state of Georgia. In order to get out and lawyer up, William Leonard Roberts II has to lose his rides, his clothes, his U.S. passport and the keys to the crib.

So while he gears up for a state trial, the Maybach Music Group CEO now wears a shiny ankle bracelet and probably banned from leaving the United States.

The allegations towards the 39 year old rapper stem from an associate getting a sliver shiner over the head. The victim claims he was pistol whipped by Rozay and his boys.

Rozay and his body man were apprehended in a U.S. Marshal "NO KNOCK" arrest.

It took $5 million to get out of Fayette County lockup.

Kidnapping alone carries up to 20 in the iron college. But the assault and use of weapon in robbery could put the rapper on ice.

Looks like Rozay needs to get back in the studio and record some albums.

Gucci Mane has record songs, put out mixtapes and digital albums while serving his three year federal time out on gun charges.

Rozay better stay relevant while he still got time. Once you're in the iron college, that freedom to make music is limited to recorded phone calls and special privileges to hear production samplers.

It looks like the charges are serious enough for him to be forking out.

NBC To Trump: You're Fired!

I am in Canada right now. I will be back in the United States by the end of the week.

While I haven't had an opportunity to post the latest events happening in the junk food media, I can give you a little bit of information about our friend Donald Trump running for the clown car.

He trademarked the phrase "You're Fired!!!" Now presidential douche Donald Trump found himself without a promotional network home after he talked smack about immigrants.

After his controversial statements on immigrants from Mexico, Trump found himself fired out the cannon.

NBC and Univision dumped the reality turd and business mogul as they put the brakes on the Miss USA and Miss Universe broadcasting. The Apprentice is canceled. The Trump name is no longer a brand on NBC.

Many activists have urged Trump to apologize for his comments about all Mexicans being rapists, drug dealers and the such.

Of course, Trump fired back saying that he quit the network. He said that NBC sold out.

He gets fired but Brian Williams, a former NBC News anchor gets to keep his job.

Williams lied about his reporting and was suspended without pay. He was later demoted to be news reader over at MSNBC. Lester Holt would replace him.

Trump declared he's running for the clown car last month. Since he's announced he surged to the top-tier standings overshadowing Stallmigo Rand Paul (R-KY) and Benjamin Carson.

Also, Macy's decided to end his clothing line. I am guessing that Trump will bitch about Sean "Puffy" Combs still having a deal with the company despite him smacking up his son's coach.

Trump is a carnival barker who questioned Barack Obama's birth certificate. He also banned him, Vice President Joe Biden, and the CEOs of Macy's, Univision and NBC from his properties.

Trump is one of the many clowns running for the nomination. Many speculate that he has no chance.

Republicans fear that he continues on, he may damage their brand.

The Law Put This Dog In The Pound After He Failed To Take Care Of Them Pups!

DMX is sweating. The veteran rapper back in county lockup for some form of stupidity.

Earl Simmons is still a dog on the loose and the pound about to neuter him.

According to Wikipedia, Simmons is a product of his environment.

I miss them days when he was the biggest thing that came off Def Jam Records.

DMX as he's professionally known was a member of the Ruff Ryders. He, Eve, Swizz Beatz, Jadakiss and his group The Lox were the biggest acts during the late 1990s until 2005.

X and his crew were selling hits. But their egos, the law and canceling tours have damaged their reputations. Now people aren't rocking Ruff Ryders.

The mixtape circuit is the only thing that keeps Jadakiss relevant. The others decided to make families and semi-retire from the music. Eve is focused on acting and is married to billionaire mogul Max Cooper. Swizz Beatz divorced his former wife and went on to marry pop singer Alicia Keys.

X on the other hand, is trying to find Black Jesus.

X is still having trouble with the law and is on the verge of being put in the pound for LIFE.

Last time I've talked about X, he was getting in trouble for armed robbery of a fan. Now I hear that he's back in county lockup for missing child support for the seven children (or twelve). I lost count.

Since he's no longer rocking with Def Jam, he's having trouble trying to push out albums.

So I guess with the money making in the dirt, X has blown money fast. He recently filed for bankruptcy after complaining about his child support.

The courts ain't buying that excuse. The law put the muzzle on X after he came to town. He was suppose to perform at Radio City. Alas, his habits of canceling shows continues.

He said those included $400,000 worth of unpaid child support, a warrant issued by the city of White Plains for bail jumping and a robbery complaint out of Newark, New Jersey. No charges have been filed in the Newark case.

A management company that has represented DMX did not immediately return an email seeking comment from The Associated Press.

Diddy Went Diva On His Son's Coach At UCLA!

Sean "Puffy" Combs got into a fight with a UCLA coach after he taunts his son Justin. His son, Justin attends the college.

Sean "Puffy" Combs aka Diddy has spent the night in Los Angeles County Lockup after he got into a smack down with a coach at UCLA.

The famed media mogul who founded Bad Boy Records, Revolt and Sean John Clothing company is going to face a judge in the coming days.

His son Justin plays for the UCLA football team and I guess Diddy didn't appreciate the coach's treatment of his son.

A representative for Combs' company said the media mogul was defending himself in the fight.

"The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate," Nathalie Moar, a rep for Combs Enterprises, said in a statement to The Associated Press. "What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son."
Diddy Rock.

Jail records showed that Combs was released after posting bail. The records showed that Combs' bail was $160,000, but sheriff's officials reached by phone said he posted $50,000. The reason for the discrepancy wasn't clear.

According to TMZ, which first reported the arrest, UCLA strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi was screaming at Justin as Combs watched from the sidelines. Combs allegedly confronted the coach in his office and was then arrested for assault.

UCLA Football coach Jim Mora later issued a statement saying, "I'm thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time."

Alosi gained a measure of infamy in football circles while a strength and conditioning coach for the New York Jets. During a December 2010 game against the Miami Dolphins, Alosi was caught tripping Nolan Carroll as the player ran down the field covering a punt. Alosi was suspended and fined as a result of the incident and resigned the following month. He has been the strength and conditioning coach at UCLA since 2012.
Don't make Diddy mad. He might lay you out!
Justin Combs is a redshirt junior defensive back on the UCLA football team, which has been working out on campus. He has played in just a handful of games in his three years with the team.

The son of another major rap star also plays football for the Bruins. Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus is a wide receiver who signed with the team this year.

The arrest is the latest in a series of allegations against Combs. He was acquitted of bribery and weapons-related charges in connection with a 1999 shooting at a New York nightclub. A jury cleared Combs of firing a weapon during the dispute that wounded three bystanders, as well as bribing his chauffeur to take the rap.

Combs was arrested in 1999 for his involvement in the beating of former Interscope executive Steve Stoute in New York. Combs apologized, the charges were reduced, and he was ordered to attend an anger management class.

Combs is the father of six. He resides in New Jersey.

Bad Boy Records and Revolt are subsidiaries of Interscope and Universal Music Group.

The label features include Diddy, Machine Gun Kelly (aka MGK), French Montana and Cassie.

Biggie: The Real King of New York!

The legend Biggie Smalls

Today marks another grave milestone in American music.

On March 9, 1997, a rap legend died. The legendary Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down in Los Angeles after attending a party for Vibe Magazine. The 25 year old rapper's death still remains a mystery to this day.

I woke up to hearing the news. My mom told us that this rapper named Biggie was shot. I was shocked by this. We all knew this day was coming. I was just listening to the single "Notorious Thugs" on the radio two days ago and I had used the cassette tape to record it.

Never in my day, that rap lost two legends in a six month period.

If you're a real fan of hip-hop, you would know Biggie Smalls (aka Frank White).

The Brooklyn MC who is the real king of New York hip-hop.

No one can take that. Not even Nas or Jay-Z.

Wallace was raised in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. When he released his debut album Ready to Die in 1994, he became a central figure in the East Coast hip hop scene and increased New York's visibility in the genre at a time when West Coast hip hop was dominant in the mainstream.

The following year, Wallace led his childhood friends to chart success through his protégé group, Junior M.A.F.I.A. While recording his second album, Wallace was heavily involved in the growing East Coast/West Coast hip hop feud.

Before the release of his Life After Death album, got booed by some West Coast rappers at the Soul Train Awards after presenting an award.

During the night, he was with his entourage attending a Vibe Magazine party. Then when he was leaving for his hotel, a vehicle pulls up and opens fire on him. He was hit four times. Out of three bullets one managed to hit the vitals. He was rushed to the hospital and died that night.

That led to speculation that Big Suge ordered a hit on him in retaliation. There are some who believed that Tupac Shakur's murder was orchestrated by Biggie and Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Biggie and Shakur's death led to the decline of quality hip-hop. Although this decline in music still exist, many rappers dedicate their legacies to them.

Many in the law enforcement industry feels that hip-hop's no snitching philosophy doomed their chances to solve these mysteries.

But still we here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to family of the Notorious B.I.G.

Also R.I.P. to Christopher Rios (aka Big Pun), Chad Butler (aka Pimp C), Lisa Lopes (aka Left-Eye), Aaliyah Houghton, Tupac Shakur (aka Makaveli), Eric Wright (aka Eazy-E), Jason Mizell (aka Jam Master Jay), James Adarryl Tapp (aka Soulja Slim), Russell Jones (aka Ol' Dirty Bastard), DeShaun Holton (aka Proof) and every rapper or R & B singer who passed away.

BIGGIE: WE MISS YA!

Drake Shocks The Junk Food Media By Releasing Surprise Album!

One more and I'm done. He's trying to bounce from YMCMB. It's official Cash Money Records is going through a Too Big To Fail moment.

While Cash Money is going through some serious conflict, Canadian entertainer Aubrey "Drake" Graham is putting at least some of his conflict aside to drop a "surprise" album this week.

On memorable line from the album comes from 6PM in New York where Drake aims at Tyga.

"I heard a lil lil homie talking reckless in Vibe/ Quite a platform you chose, you shoulda kept it inside/ Oh you tried, it’s so childish calling my name on the world stage/ You need to act your age and not your girl’s age".

Drake's mixtape (album) is called If You're Reading This, It's Too Late.

If You're Reading This It's Too Late is the fourth studio album.

One more album and Drake can officially go free agent. He's been determined to leave Cash Money and Young Money for some time now.

It was released on February 13, 2015 by Cash Money Records, Young Money Entertainment, and OVO Sound. Drake and his longtime producer Noah "40" Shebib are the executive producers. It features Lil' Wayne, Travi$ Scott and his OVO label artist PartyNextDoor.

The album was released onto iTunes with no prior announcement. The album precedes his previously announced upcoming fifth studio album, Views From The 6. The album is a mixtape marketed as an album in order to free himself from his contract with Cash Money.

Lil' Wayne is currently feuding with the label over Bryan "Birdman" Williams pushing back The Carter V. The rapper also express annoyance at Birdman solely focusing on Atlanta based rappers Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan through his own Rich Gang label and leaving him, Tyga and Nicki Minaj on the sidelines.

Tyga is also engaged in a feud with Birdman and Drake. Alleged rumors of the rapper dating Kylie Jenner has the media buzzing about the under 21 step sister of Kim Kardashian hanging around with a truly thuggish rapper.

Drake is engaged in not only feuds with Tyga but even Sean "Diddy" Combs. They had an apparent altercation.

Some entertainers in the music industry are putting tight lips on leaks. Eminem, Beyonce, Jay-Z and now Drake are releasing surprise albums to fulfill the demand.

Cee U Later!

Legendary DJ, Mister Cee leaves Hot 97.

Nearly 20 years on New York's Hot 97, Mister Cee finished the job. He jump ship to join the Hudson Valley's urban contemporary Radio 103.9 FM to do the mixes.

“I AM EXCITED, HUMBLED, & BLESSED TO BE BACK ON THE RADIO WITH THE NEW RADIO 103.9 IN NEW YORK. TO BE A PART OF A NEW GROWING STATION GIVES ME A FRESH START IN MY RADIO CAREER,” Cee says of the transition in an exclusive statement to XXL. “SPECIAL THANKS TO KEN JOHNSON & RAPHAEL GEORGE FOR GIVING ME THIS OPPORTUNITY. ALSO A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ANDREW VERAS AKA DOMINICAN DREW FOR PUSHING FOR ME TO BE A PART OF THE RADIO 103.9 FAMILY, I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET IT.”

“I would love to continue to be on radio if the opportunity arises. I would love to do radio whether it’s on-air or [other] programming. I would love to take a shot at being a program director or a music director at a radio station. I would love to continue to be in the music industry in any form. If an offer came to me in regards to working at a record label, depending on the situation, I would love to. Music is in my blood. I’m still going to DJ parties. Mister Cee was best known as the guy who helped Notorious B.I.G. get signed to Sean "Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Records in the early 1990s.

Mister Cee was also known for the stroll. He would pick up prostitutes. Namely he would pick up not only women but transgender prostitutes. He got busted three times for soliciting for them.

He went to the public to admit that he's bisexual after being forced out by a crossdresser who tried to exploit him for profit.

Lost Pounds, Bawse!

Rapper Rick Ross slims down.

Rick Ross is the CEO of Maybach Music Group and the primary force that keeps that label Def Jam running. While Jeezy, Juelz Santana, Fabolous, Ludacris, and Nas are looking for the exit, Ross continues to stand firm with the label that made him a bawse.

Def Jam veteran acts are frustrated with the label delaying their albums. Jeezy is the most notable act to vent about the label's troubles.

William Roberts II (aka Rick Ross/Teflon Don/Rozay) was fearing more than the Gangster Disciples, he was fearing diabetes. The rapper weight nearly 360 lbs on a good day. Now pictures emerge of the rapper weigh down a little.

In May, Ross, appearing shirtless, talked about his weight loss in an on-camera interview with British DJ Tim Westwood.

"You know, I ain't really keeping up on, you know, the amount, you know, of weight," he said. "I just, I just wanted to, you know, get in some better shape, you know what I'm saying, put myself in a better position.

So I just, I still eat the way I want to eat...I just go to the gym. I do this s--t called, uh, CrossFit. I call it 'RossFit.' Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's called 'RossFit' now."

Ross said that via Reebok, he had obtained a trainer who introduced him to the method, which has been touted by the likes of auto racing star Danica Patrick and Bob Harper of The Biggest Loser.

"Let's say, for instance, if you got on a treadmill and you did that s--t for 30 minutes, yeah you're burning calories but you could be doing something that's burning calories and building muscle at the same time. So it's like, you're working out a shorter time. I could go out and do some s--t for 20 minutes and you could be looking like this, you heard me?" he said, looking at the camera and flexing his bicep and later, his pecs.

"You know, the most I used to do for exercise was stand up to count the money, you know what I'm saying?" he joked. "But now, they, they, you know, they give me fruit to eat. I forgot what fruit, you know, tasted like. I eat pears now and s--t like that."
Rick Ross appears after losing 100 lbs.
People wouldn't even recognize him without those tattoos and gold chains and the 5 inches long beard.

I guess Reebok decided to rehire him back as a pitchman after the U.O.E.N.O. scandal.

As a rapper, he is signed to Def Jam through a joint venture of Sean "Puffy" Combs' Ciroc Entertainment and Slip-N-Slide Records. He is the founder and CEO of Maybach Music Group.

The label is disturbed through Atlantic Records. Although Rozay, Gunplay appear on Def Jam, Wale, Meek Mill and Stalley appear on Atlantic. French Montana appears on the label with joint venture through Bad Boy Records and Interscope.

Well wishes to the rapper on his road to recovery.

South Of West Kardashian!

Khloe Kardashian dating French Montana. Another stupid story about the Kardashians.

Khloe Kardashian found her a new friend. Being estranged from dope head Lamar Odom is probably a good thing for her. But to turn up with a guy who claims he's a "coke boy", well you know how this story goes!

This new friend who like guns and acting like a total "gangsta".

Somali-born rapper French Montana is an artist who is affiliated with Sean "Mr. Puff" Combs' Bad Boy label and joint associated with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group.

He's the rising act in a saturated market of "STREET NIGGAS".

He released the Excuse My French album last year and is known to drop a mixtape or two during his downtime.

I guess he's dating the reality turd. The reality turd is sister of Kim Kardashian-West, the wife of rap producer/entertainer Kanye West.

The Huffington Post reports that Khloe Kardashian is under fire after posting a controversial photo to her Instagram account on June 2.

In the black and white picture, the 29-year-old reality star poses with rumored boyfriend French Montana, who is holding a machine gun while Kardashian drinks champagne from the bottle. "About to go gucci maaannnnnn. #MovieSet #JustDifferent @frenchmontana," she captioned the snapshot. Montana also posted the photo to his account, writing, "#bangbang."

The picture was allegedly taken on the set of DJ Khaled's new music video for "They Don't Love You No More," which Montana has been filming in Miami, Florida. The song also features Jay Z, Rick Ross and Meek Mill.

Some of Kardashian's followers were not happy with the picture, taking to her Instagram page to voice their opinions. "Guns should not be glamorized," one commenter wrote, with others posting, "So disrespectful to those who have lost people recently" and "You are a role model!! Alcohol and guns DO NOT MIX."

The Kardashians are probably one of the most hated celebrities out there. I understand that they value a certain group of stans, but reality shows us nothing but utter ignorance.

Mister Cee Mixing Beats Out The Closet! [NSFW]

The famous deejay was outed by a gay blogger who threaten to expose him.
As a part of his court order for prostitution arrests, the famous New York deejay and radio personality had to release a public service announcement. He talks about HIV/AIDS and sexuality transmitted diseases.

In this PSA he decides to "out" himself as a bisexual. This is been one of the first since Frank Ocean became the officially "outed" entertainer in hip-hop. Calvin "Mister Cee" Lebrun is the first hip-hop deejay to be gay or bisexual.

The guy who helped Notorious B.I.G. get that deal on Sean "Puffy" Combs' Bad Boy label back in the day, has acknowledged that he's open about his sexuality.

Mister Cee was famous for Christopher Wallace's demo tape to friend, Sean Combs, which would later prove as the beginning of the rap icon's historical career in the music.

Mister Cee was arrested after police officers allegedly caught him in a sexual act in Lower Manhattan with a transgender prostitute in the early hours of the morning.

Then he was arrested again after he was soliciting an undercover officer dressed as a woman.

His latest event happened a few days ago. Mister Cee's encounter with a gay blogger dressed as a woman was revealed after recorded audio was released on September 11, 2013.

That sealed his "straight" credibility. He couldn't hide his sexuality in the closet.
Mister Cee's newest problem has an internet blog. He done a dress and Mister Cee got a rise out of it.
Though he resigned his job at New York City radio station Hot 97 after the recording was made public, he later decided to stay on.

Mister Cee is a good friend of 50 Cent. The media mogul and rapper stood behind the deejay during his ordeal and say that Cee is the "guy who brought music and gave the world B.I.G.!"

Anyway, this world knew. I mean he got caught the first time with a transgender prostitute. He should have acknowledged his sexuality then.

But since, he's in fear of losing endorsements and the oh so straight rap community, he continue this on without people knowing. It came to the end when a turdelebrity decided to put an encounter between him and the deejay. The turdelebrity who goes by the name of Bimbo Winehouse wanted to tell the world he's a prostitute and met the deejay in an encounter in Queens, New York.
Mister Cee and 50 Cent.
Now this individual that Mister Cee is involved with is some internet turdelebrity who wanted to make a few dollars off shaming him.

The turdelebrity was going to blackmail Mister Cee. So to cushion the fall, the deejay was forced him to "out" himself.

And the video below is hard to hear and it's pretty much disturbing. It's a disturbing and not safe for work.

Again, I have no problems with the LGBT community. They're entitled to live their lives like everyone else.

They're not hurting me.

Special thanks to VIKTOR KERNEY of Maybe It's Just Me.

I stress discretion when viewing this. It's explicit and language is offensive.

What Happen To Lil' Kim? [NSFW]

Brooklyn's don diva is......whoa!

The 4'11" rapper/model/reality star known as the "Queen Bee" of hip-hop hasn't done much lately.

Besides the feuds with longtime foes Foxy Brown and Nicki Minaj, it's been relatively low profile for Kim.

Kimberly Denise Jones born July 11, 1974 grew up on the streets of Brooklyn., New York. Getting involved in the rap scene she met her mentor Christopher Wallace who developed the street name Biggie Smalls (but best the nationally as the Notorious B.I.G.). She got involved in the rap scene around the early 1990s and worked on singles with Biggie and his friends Lil' Cease, Capone and Bugsy. As the lieutenant of Notorious B.I.G.'s clique Junior M.A.F.I.A. broke into the rap scene with her witty and oftentimes sexually explicit lines.

The album Conspiracy went on to become gold and gave the Brooklyn rapper a chance to break out on her own. The debut album Hardcore was produced by little known Sean "Puffy" Combs who went on to establish his own label Bad Boy. Lil' Kim went double platinum on her album and launched her as a mainstream act.

She was featured on the single, "Lady Marmalade", which also had guest vocals by fellow recording artists Mýa, Pink and Christina Aguilera (a remake of the 1975 smash hit, originally recorded by LaBelle) which went to #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100, making her the first female rapper to have a #1 on that chart.

Between her highs and lows, Lil' Kim knew how to impress and sometimes shock the paparazzi.

The most memorable moment of Lil' Kim was the VMA awards in which she had a pallet covering one of her breast and Diana Ross (her idol) groped her in front of millions.

During her rise, she, Combs, and Biggie were engaged in a feud with the West Coast rappers. The Notorious B.I.G. was singled out by rapper Tupac Shakur in the attempted robbery and shooting of him outside a studio in 1994. The rappers were cordial in the beginning but things turned sour after allegations of Tupac Shakur made the claim that he slept with Biggie's then wife Faith Evans.

Biggie was accused by some in the hip-hop media of having numerous affairs on Faith Evans. One being Lil' Kim and Charli Baltimore, a Queens based rapper who was affiliated with Junior M.A.F.I.A..

She also was known to wear shocking outfits.

Her lowest point of her career was the prison time she served for "not snitchin" on her crew during a dispute with longtime rival Foxy Brown. She was charged with perjury in a federal court in regards to a shooting outside a recording studio. She spent a year in a federal prison and was then released.

The most embarrassing moment in her career was the local news crew coming to her home. They filmed a debt collector and towing service tow away her expensive Bentley vehicle after she had broken an engagement to Scott Storch.

Lil' Kim has appeared on reality television shows such as The Apprentice and Dance With The Stars.

Lil' Kim made an appearance on the Bravo reality series Pregnant in Heels.

Lil' Kim appeared in movies and television series. She is friends with celebrities such as Missy Elliott, Da Brat, Mary J. Blige, former wrestler Trish Stratus, Pamela Anderson and Debbie Harry.

The Daily Mail reports that the 38-year-old showing off her remarkably smooth skin and opted to keep warm in a huge fur coat over her tight leather dress as he headed into MTV studios to film Rap Fix Live.

Fans of the Put Your Lighters Up rapper didn't seem to notice her startling appearance and took to Twitter to commend the tiny brunette. with one user writing: 'QUEEN WE LOVE YOU Nicki Minaj is trash.'

The Lady Marmalade star topped off her fierce look with lashings of red lipstick, some thick false lashes and a chunky gold necklace.

Her hair was left loose around her shoulders and she seemed relaxed when she appeared on the show, unlike when she was questioned over her potential surgery last year on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club.

The pint-sized star got offended when quizzed about the subject, saying: 'Why would you ask me that?'

Now you can see a few of the pictures that were obtained through The Daily Mail. And even though, I still think Lil' Kim is the girlfriend of my dreams, it's today that I will kindly tell her, that she really screwed up on this one.

Reason why I say there NSFW is because it's........................Terrible.

The art of self-promotion: Lil Kim purses her lips as she arrives in New York - the rapper has been under fire for her extreme plastic surgery
Controversial: Lil Kim covers up with a huge fur coat - the 4ft 11in star also opted for some sky-high wedges
Head down: Lil Kim smiles as she wanders around NYC - she completed her look with a chunk gold necklace
Rapper Lil Kim Lady in fur: Lil' Kim looks pleased to be back on the scene

Now I am going to be honest. It's not pretty, but far better than Joan Rivers and her daughter.

Lil' Kim you're beautiful and that's a fact. But damn girl, that plastic surgery is going to have you looking like a train wreck. Keep it real, Kim.

We all age naturally. Please don't do something that may end your career!

Game Over?

Rapper's album release was panned!

50 Cent and Michelle Malkin are going to clown on rival's disappointing album release.

Rapper Game's latest album Jesus Piece debuts Number 6 on Billboard with projected sales between 85,000 to 100,000 copies being sold. A big disappointment for the Compton based rapper who rose to fame under the whims of Dr. Dre and 50 Cent. The Game released his debut album The Documentary and it went to number one in the charts. After a bitter fallout between 50 Cent and members of G-Unit, Game was forced off Aftermath Records.

Soon after the rapper released The Doctor's Advocate, L.A.X., The R.E.D. Album and the recent album Jesus Piece. The rappers two albums post G-Unit went to Number 1 on Billboard charts but these last two were disappointments.

Game is rumored to sign to Cash Money Records. Although it's not confirmed, it's been the talk of the internet as of recently. The rap label is home to Lil' Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj. These entertainers also appear under Lil' Wayne's Young Money Records as well.

Game's ongoing feud with 50 Cent will certainly spark up again! 50 Cent usually attacks rivals for low album sales. The rapper has an ongoing issue with not only Game, but former members Lloyd Banks and Young Buck.

50 Cent also shares in disappointment too. His last album Before I Self Destruct didn't live up to expectations, even with help from Eminem and Dr. Dre producing most of his album. The next album release is Street King Immortal and it may be the rapper's last album. The album first singles are out. New Day with Dr. Dre and Alicia Keyes and My Life featuring Eminem and Adam Levine are the official singles.

Game and 50 Cent's feud has put a dent in both of their careers. Both failed to succeed in charting on the Billboard top list with their singles. Each entertainer associated with G-Unit hasn't lived up to their first releases. 50 Cent is maintain his image by investing in products. He contributed to his own brand of  energy drinks, headphones and taking up part time acting.

50 Cent engaged in feuds with Rick Ross, Ja Rule, Nas, Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Slim da Mobster, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Irv Gotti, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Young Buck, Game, Lloyd Banks, Benzino, Floyd Mayweather, Vivica A. Fox, Oprah, Bill O'Reilly, Cam'Ron, Lil' Wayne, Kanye West, and his the mother of his child.

Game engaged in feuds with 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Ja Rule, Joe Budden, .40 Gloc, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, Michelle Malkin, Dr. Dre, Tony Yayo, Big Sean, Tyler The Creator, Memphis Bleek, Young Chris, and his former manager Big Fase his half-brother.

Both entertainers are professional agitators. 50 Cent and Game lyrics contain language that embraces criminal activity, gun violence, homophobia, sexism and commercialism.  In the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting, rappers, Ted Nugent, video games, conservative agitators and the gun lobbyist group the National Rifle Association are under fire for embracing the gun culture.

The gun control issue is back on the table. These individuals mentioned are entitled to their opinions and do have the right to freely express their music talents. However with the sales decline in most music genres, the rappers may have to reinvent an image in order to stay mainstream.

Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, T.I., Rick Ross, Rihanna, Lil' Wayne, Drake, Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Future, and Nicki Minaj are the most sought after rappers right now! The rest of them are still trying to stay relevant.

The video below is a homage to Eazy-E. Game records the Celebration Remix with Bone Thugs 'N Harmony.

Presidential Shoot Out: Rick Ross and Young Jeezy!

Def Jam rappers involved in a fight at BET Hip-Hop Awards. Rappers Rick Ross (left) and Young Jeezy (right) got into a heated confrontation between their respective camps. Media mogul Jay-Z (center) was instrumental in signing them to Def Jam in 2004 and they've both went on to become successful (and yes controversial) entertainers. Both rappers write songs about cocaine dealing and gun play. Matt Drudge, the notorious race-baiter is going after Jay-Z and Young Jeezy because of President Barack Obama's association with them.
Gay conservative race baiting agitator Matt Drudge is desperate. Of course this election season is where he thinks he could shine! His website The Drudge Report has once again splashed another Black story on its pages. The reason is because of one of the rappers getting a shout out from the president and the other name dropping the president's name in a verse. Two rappers who appear to have fought behind the stages at the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta over the past weekend made the news rounds.

To quote the words of Young Jeezy: My President Is Black!

Rick Ross appears under Def Jam Records.

Young Jeezy appears under Def Jam Records.

Jay-Z appears under Roc-A-Fella Records/Roc Nation, LLC.

Okay, Rick Ross (aka The Boss, Rick Rozay or Maybach Untouchable) is the top billing hip-hop artist this year and his record label Maybach Music Group has became the newest cult following among the hip-hop stans. Ross borrowed the name from a former drug kingpin who rose to prominence in the late 1980s. The rapper established his hip-hop collective with rappers Wale, Meek Mill, Stalley, Gunplay and even R & B singer Omarion.

Okay, Young Jeezy (aka Snowman/Tha Trappa) is the former drug dealer from the streets of Atlanta who rose to fame after joining the hip-hop collective Boyz 'N Da Hood. The defunct rap collective was started by Sean "Puffy" Combs through a recruitment of five Southern based rappers with unique backgrounds. He appeared as the guy in the Icy video by fellow Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane and then broke out on his own with his Thug Motivation albums. He is a member of the hip hop group United Streets Dopeboyz of America (USDA) and a former member of BMF (Black Mafia Family). He began his career in 2001 under an independent label and joined Boyz 'N Da Hood in 2005 before striking it out on his own.

I wish I had cable. I would of love to see the BET Awards. Alas, I'm stuck to hearing about it through channels like WorldStarHipHop, SOHH.com, Allhiphop.com, The Huffington Post and The Drudge Report.

Well the Drudge Report's reason to linking this article! The presidential shout out to Young Jeezy!

This year at the National Correspondents Dinner, President Barack Obama joked about being as gangster as Young Jeezy when it comes to getting things done. That lit up the internet and Young Jeezy was surprised and even thankful for his shout out!

Once again you'll hear stuff about Young Jeezy being one of "Obama's sons!"

You'll hear the word salad from conservatives or even White supremacists. They'll use words like "gang bangers", "Niggers", "Obama", "Holder", "monkeys", "hate rap", "Romney", and "coons".

You'll see either Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity or the mighty Rush Limbaugh look upon this as the reasons to why President Barack Obama must be defeated.

The Daily Mail is where Drudge linked the article and I'll share a few insights to how this started and offer an honest opinion of hip-hop awards shows in general.

Shots were allegedly fired on Saturday night outside the taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta following a shoving match that broke out backstage between rappers Young Jeezy and Rick Ross.

According to TMZ sources, the two performers exchanged heated words during the ceremony and started pushing each other before their bodyguards and BET security intervened and separated the two men.

But that was apparently not the end of the incident. According to eyewitnesses, soon afterwards a member of Ross's entourage went to the parking lot of the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center and pulled out a gun, firing several shots.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, neither Young Jeezy nor Rick Ross was arrested in connection to the altercation.

Rick Ross (William Roberts III), 36, and Young Jeezy, 34 (Jay Jenkins), have not enjoyed a good relationship in the past, but lately the two appeared to be on good terms.

Rick Ross newest protege Gunplay got into a feud with 50 Cent's G-Unit camp later that night.

Entertainment Weekly reports that BET released a statement that said, “BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past seven years BET has celebrated the true art form of hip-hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks does not condone any type of violence. Local authorities are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.”

The awards, which were hosted by Mike Epps, will air on Oct. 9 on BET.

Okay my opinion of this.

These rappers are entertainers. It's apparently "street cred" for these individuals who make trouble. They have to keep up their image in order to make themselves successful.

Rick Ross and Young Jeezy are both dumbass rappers for the very fact they allowed their petty feud become the news. The Drudge Report is looking for anything to inspire angry white men to vote against President Barack Obama.

The angry white male is drenched in hate of a growing minority, cultural differences, urban crime, illegal immigration, gays becoming more powerful, and the likelihood of President Barack Obama winning reelection.

Anything that involves hip-hop is directly tied to President Barack Obama. The very mention of the president in the verses of Young Jeezy, Jay-Z, 50 Cent and Rick Ross are like magnets to conservative agitators like Drudge, Limbaugh, Hannity and O'Reilly.

Most rappers should acknowledge they're entertainers first, everything else next. These people set us back three steps for every incident that leads to violence.

Rappers are not destined to be role models or inspirations for Black youth. They're entertainers. They inspire young people to become musicians and media moguls.

Jay-Z, Will Smith, LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, Queen Latifah, and Ice-T have became successful entertainers in hip-hop music. They managed to become not only rappers but actors and media moguls.

In other words, I love the music, hate the controversy that follow it!

Dr. Dre Tops Forbes Richest Rappers!

Rappers Dr. Dre (L) and Snoop Dogg may be together on stage, but the Dr. is the only one on the Forbes’ annual list of Cash Kings — not that Snoop is hurting for green.
Mighty D.R.E. Is Still Beating The Boards And Packing In The Millions. Rapper/producer Dr. Dre is Forbes Magazine's richest rappers. His estimated earnings top over $110 million in 2011. Beats By Dre are the successful headphones from the rapper. He attended the 2012 Coachella Festival with Snoop Dogg. Big Snoop is releasing a reggae album under the moniker Snoop Lion.
We're still waiting on the comeback of Andre Young, 47, professionally known as Dr. Dre. The famed album producer and original gangsta has crafted the works of Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent and newcomer Kendrick Lamar.

Andre Romelle Young (born February 18, 1965), is an American rapper, record producer, record executive, entrepreneur, bodybuilder and occasional actor. He is the founder and current CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and a former co-owner and artist of Death Row Records.

The Mighty Mighty D.R.E. is the world's richest rapper. He beats out media mogul/rapper Jay-Z, Kanye West, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Lil' Wayne and Eminem.

The good doctor hasn't released an album since his masterpiece [Chronic] 2001 in 1999.

Dr. Dre was working on the long awaited Detox album. The album is slated for release in 2013. The album was scrapped this year after numerous tracks failed to bring mainstream buzz. The first single "Kush" with Akon and Snoop Dogg was released last year. The second single was a leftover from Eminem but it was released. "I Need A Doctor" was released a few weeks later. He decided to focus on Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent's album releases.

The Beats By Dre headphones are a factor to the riches. Besides the royalties and the rap label Aftermath Entertainment, Dr. Dre is a self-made man.

Dre began his career in music as a member of the World Class Wreckin' Cru and he later found fame with the influential gangsta rap group N.W.A with Eazy-E, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and DJ Yella which popularized the use of explicit lyrics in rap to detail the violence of street life which lead to the controversial albums Straight Outta Compton and Niggaz4Life.

Dr. Dre is credited to the success of Eminem (right) and 50 Cent (center).
Since the days of co-founding the gangsta rap label Death Row with former business partner Marion "Suge" Knight, Dre had released the classic Tha Chronic. The mix of g-funk, weed smokin', soul friendly and truly gangsta classics.

He produced Snoop Dogg's debut album Doggystyle, produced the hit single "California Love" off Tupac Shakur's All Eyez On Me and made notable contributions to Tha Dogg Pound.

Dr. Dre has made enemies in his time reaching the top.

The feud with Suge Knight is an ongoing saga. Dr. Dre has sued the media mogul for royalties of the albums he produced and played a role in having his old label shut down. Dre left Death Row in 1994 after the label got involved with the Bloods street gang. Even Tupac Shakur released singles targeting Dre for selling out.

Dr. Dre got involved in the conflicts with Atlanta producer/rapper Jermaine Dupri. Dupri declared his production skills was bigger than Dr. Dre and Timbaland. Dre, Eminem and West Coast rapper Xzibit sent Dupri numerous responses about his "obsession with little boys!" They ended the feud in 2001.

When Dr. Dre signed 50 Cent to the label, he and Eminem were engaged in a feud with Murder, Inc. Records and their main act Ja Rule. Ja Rule claims that 50 Cent's rise to fame was a sham. Ja Rule warned Eminem and Dr. Dre not to side with 50 Cent in this feud. This lead to a major feud which elevated to near violence. Ja Rule allied with The Source Magazine co-owner rapper Raymond Scott (known as Benzino) in a public boycott campaign of 50 Cent and Eminem. Dr. Dre's longtime mentor Jimmy Iovine decided to pull advertising from the magazine and move revenue to The Source's rival magazine XXL.

Dr. Dre has engaged in a minor conflict with 50 Cent. When 50 Cent decided to ditch Beats By Dre to jump onto Sleek Audio for his own headphones, he made Dr. Dre angry. The rapper threaten to leave after the conflict and Dr. Dre's lack of attention on his follow up albums. The conflict was resolved and Dr. Dre will produce a fraction of 50 Cent's album which is slated for Winter 2013.

Dre has produced albums for Jay-Z, Game, Nas, Ice Cube, Eve, Gwen Stefani, T.I., Rick Ross, half-brother Warren G, Nate Dogg, Lil' Wayne, Mary J. Blige, The D.O.C., Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Slimm Tha Mobster, Xzibit, and Obie Trice.

The World's Richest Rappers
  • Dr. Dre (Aftermath Entertainment)
  • Sean "Puffy" Combs (Diddy) (Bad Boy Records)
  • Jay-Z (Roc-A-Fella Records/Roc Nation)
  • Kanye West (Roc-A-Fella Records)
  • Lil' Wayne (Cash Money Records)
  • Bryan "Baby" Williams (Birdman) (Cash Money Records)
  • 50 Cent (Shady Records/Aftermath Entertainment)
  • Drake (Cash Money Records)
  • Nicki Minaj (Cash Money Records)
  • Eminem (Aftermath Entertainment)
  • Ludacris (Disturbing Tha Peace/Def Jam Records)

Most of these entertainers comes from Universal Music Group. The home of Def Jam, Motown, and Interscope Records.

* UPDATE: The Drudge Report is making light of Snoop Dogg's endorsement of Barack Obama. Again the race baiting gay conservative agitator is trying to find reasons to dog whistle white voters. Mitt Romney and his campaign are desperate. They're in the process of throwing everything including the kitchen sink at President Barack Obama. I will cover the Snoop Dogg (Snoop Lion) endorsement of Barack Obama in the next day!

Rapper Ends Decade Long Feud With Eminem!

Eminem will turn 40 years old this October. One of the best rappers in the world, is a slim figured White guy who hails from Detroit, Michigan. Marshall Mathers is the founder of Shady Records, the home of gangster rapper 50 Cent, Alabama native Yelawolf and hip-hop collective Slaughterhouse.

Eminem comes from the cloth of the good Dr. Dre, the world famous producer credited to making him, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and many others very rich. Anything with Dr. Dre's blessing is classic. Eminem's influences help push rap music more mainstream so rappers like Ludacris, Nelly, Kanye West, Flo Rida, Waka Flocka Flame, Future, Lil' Wayne and Drake could succeed in an industry that creates sharks.

Hailed as one of the best, there were some who questioned his standings as the world's most recognized White rapper.

Rapper Benzino apologized to Eminem after decade long feud. Is this real? Apparently so!

Whatever you decide on calling him, he has been a mark in hip-hop. The self acclaimed Made Man, Almighty RSO, and road dog for the Hangmen 3, Raymond “Benzino” Scott has been a name that been around for awhile. The rapper and entrepreneur of the hip-hop magazine, The Source, has been no stranger to the speculation stemming from his alleged alterations with his group Made Men, to his on air beef with rappers Eminem, 50 Cent and Dr. Dre.

The rapper's motives of threatening people from exposing any dirt about his life, have came under heavy scrutiny. Benzino has been a warrior in a “state of hip-hop emergency” and is not ready to put the mic down and walk away.

We'll revisit my previous article of 2004. The climax of the feud between Eminem and Benzino.

I was a subscriber of The Source Magazine. I was greatly upset over the magazine's turmoils under the leadership of Dave Mays and Benzino. The company was blowing money fast. They've filed for bankruptcy after this feud. My magazine subscription was in limbo. Millions of readers dumped The Source and picked up the XXL Magazine. And today, the XXL Magazine reigns as the top selling rap magazine. Even in tough times, the magazine is still thriving as well as Vibe and Ozone.

My personal opinion is that hip-hop deserves a chance!

Hell, I gave rappers like Jay-Z, DMX, Ludacris, 50 Cent, Eve and Nelly props. I paid respect to the pioneers of hip-hop, from Eric B and Rakim, Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls, to even the Cold Crush Brothers, but there’s no way I can support a rapper that seems make a name for his self in a magazine that over hypes his lackluster talent.

Benzino, 49 was born in Latham, Massachusetts and resides in either New York or Miami. Formerly known as the Ray Dog of Almighty RSO (Rock Shit Out) and the lead vocals to the group Made Men, the Boston brawler, has edged his name in hip-hop as either the “savior of hip-hop” or the “worst rapper since Vanilla Ice”.
Eminem
Benzino seems to fall short of his expectations. Under the Made Men, The Source heavily promoted the rap group's ads. The magazine even considering them once as Def Jam artists.

The Source gave a unknown rapper such as Benzino a place with rap moguls Sean “Puffy” Combs,  Steve Stoute and Lyor Cohn. When Benzino's group Made Men debut album was released, The Source was giving it heavy promotion despite concerns among staff.

The reviewers and editors of the Source, gave the group a mid size rating and Benzino was highly upset.

Benzino asked the editor and long time friend, founder, Dave Mays, to give the album Classic Limited Edition, better promotion or top notch ratings.

Mays agree to Benzino’s request and changed the rating to top-notch behind the staff. With the album being changed to top-notch ratings the staff of The Source warned Mays if he changes their credibility, they walked.

Mays refused their request and told them to leave. So that’s what they did. Even with the change the Made Men didn’t do so well with their album. Heavy cameos such as Master P, The LOX and  Montell Jordan couldn't save this album.

Benzino’s group didn’t pave the way for hip-hop. So they disbanded and Benzino tries to strike it out on his own.

The debut solo album, The Benzino Project and The Benzino Remix Project were both released by Universal-Motown. The debut album managed to sell over 78,000 copies and the "Remix" album didn't chart major sales. Even providing the single “Bootee” with producer Teddy Riley, having G-Dep, Fabolous, Snoop Dogg, Scarface and among others featured on it couldn't save this album.

Benzino had disappointed Motown so much, they released the rapper from his contract.

Despite the album flops Benzino still supported the album by releasing the single “Shine Like My Son” featuring his own son, upcoming rapper Ray Ray (known as Cool Breeze Ray), and featured spots from Master P, Jadakiss and their families. Benzino lost the battle. So Benzino fumes up with Motown having their ads removed from The Source.
The legendary Dr. Dre helped proteges Eminem and 50 Cent produce their successful albums.
Benzino decides to jump on to Interscope, home to Eminem and Dr. Dre. After pushing the Black Friday Album on lukewarm results, Interscope drops the Hangman 3, Made Men, and Benzino. So thus he promoted his albums on the independent scene for awhile.

With a hook up with Queen Latifah and Shakim on Flavor Unit, Benzino got him a deal distribution with Elektra Entertainment.

With the release of his album Redemption he teams up with Bad Boy head producer Mario “Yellow Man” Winans to produce his tracks. Releasing the first single “Rock The Party” it seemed like Benzino had at least manage to catch the attention of the clubs with a fresh up start to a up and coming career. But the ever looming slum of failure has seemed to haunt Benzino.
Rapper Benzino and Dave Mays (far right). Dave Mays is a Harvard educated business executive and hip-hop journalist. He co-founded The Source Magazine with Jonathon Schecter and James Bernard.
Artists who contributed to the album were Scarface, Jadakiss, Wyclef Jean, Lil’ Kim and notably actress LisaRaye. Benzino released a single to attack at Eminem. The single “Pull Your Skirt Up” exposes Eminem as a machine that steals music from up and coming artists, infiltrating a culture that makes him wealthy (in reference to “Without Me” from The Eminem Show). To put things worst the single “Would You and Staying 4 Eva” has modestly proven that with rap there is a line that has been cross. Despite the hype of Benzino fails to score at least the amount of albums he sold from his previous albums. Last time I checked, Benzino had sold at least 15,000 albums.

In November 2002, getting a chance at exposing Eminem for what he is and what his purpose is, he attacks Shady and Aftermath Records. Benzino exposes Eminem's legal troubles and the looming signing of 50 Cent to the labels. Benzino claims that Eminem’s album sales hurt the upcoming hip-hop acts.

What drove Eminem into the battle was the threats Benzino had made to his family and claims of Eminem being a racist (calling him a Rap Hitler or David Duke). During an interview with Angie Martinez, Eminem airs out the beef with Benzino and released two devastating disses toward Benzino.

The first single The Sauce exposes the fact of artists who feud with Benzino would be shut out of the magazine. Eminem exposes The Source sharing ties with Benzino.

Hip-Hop Weekly. A gossip magazine covering hip-hop. Benzino was feuding with  Fat Joe. Benzino claims he slept with the rapper's wife.
The second single was a big blow to Benzino. It was titled the Nail In The Coffin.

The diss goes hard at Benzino, his son Ray Ray, Dave Mays, Kim Osorio, and The Source itself.

So with that Benzino, attacks back stating that this “cracka” is dying to say “nigga” and he is willing to settle this with violence. Benzino states that Eminem and Shady Records will have no place in The Source.

In the February 2003 issue featuring Ja Rule, The Source gave people a free poster showing a virtual unknown holding the head of the world’s most popular rapper.

That’s right, it’s Benzino in cartoon form showing him holding Eminem by the head and spine, warning Eminem to watch what he says or he will face a untimely demise.

The Source takes shots at Elliott Wilson, former Source editor now founder of The XXL, in reference to the XXL issue of 50 Cent, Eminem, and Dr. Dre. On top of that The Source had drawn a muscle man crushing a midget light skinned man with the XXS logo on the bottom of the jersey, with the words “Respect The Architect or Get Broken”.

In fact, the issue had a five page interview with Benzino, heavily promotion for his now defunct nightclub South Beach Club ZNO, and of course for those who bought his album, those would receive a free 6 month subscription to The Source.

Canibus, an underground rapper (Eminem’s nemesis) and the writer Harry Allen, also were featured in the magazine addressing the issues of white emceeing, The Eminem Show and what hip hop is now directing itself into.

Lastly in the Last Word, the Boston Celtics jersey and ice banded Benzino was crushing M & M milk chocolate candies, while a white candy stands in the background watching.

Dr. Dre, Aftermath, Interscope pulled their ads and promotions away from The Source. 50 Cent takes jabs at Benzino by attacking his lackluster career and selling copies less than his first album.

Unfortunate for Benzino the disrespect doesn’t stop there! The world’s leading magazine, The Rolling Stone, Vibe, Murder Dog, and XXL (the rival magazines) stated that Eminem, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent are welcome to their magazines.

Benzino was rated in the top 20 in the Maxim Blender’s notably worst entertainers in the world, a group from Petition Online asked for a boycott for The Source to have Benzino be removed from The Source. The marketing strategy for The Source is out! Benzino is part of The Source. In order to keep his name from being tarnished the magazine denied the allegations stemming from his shady dealings while being at The Source. Although current issues had less Benzino, he is eventually showing up somewhere; whether in the Fat Tape (high rotation singles), Coast 2 Coast, and ads for clothing and jewelry.

After the release of 50 Cent's album, Eminem has stated that the beef was done. Eminem declared that Benzino is too wack to respond too. Benzino swears he will not back down to Eminem and continues to keep taking shots at him. Even through the Source magazine, naming 50 Cent on of the top 115 artists of hip-hop, stating that his album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ will outsell The Eminem Show. Even taking blows at Eminem by drawing him as Elvis and Tarzan. The Source also featured a comic called Past Imperfect, taking shots not only at Eminem, but rappers (whom are white) Bubba Sparxxx and Haystak. Benzino had a hand in creating the comic and editorials addressing white MCs.

The Source carried its high profile feud with 50 Cent by releasing an attack article. The article exposes the life and the hype of 50 Cent, his bosses Eminem and Dr. Dre, and the label head, Jimmy Iovine. The issue also takes a jab at rapper, Nas (post XXL issue where he was setting ablaze to The Source and XXL magazines). In the first pages of the Source, Benzino and Mays retaliate towards the XXL and Vibe Magazine attacks from 50 Cent, Eminem, Nas and Dr. Dre by setting ablaze the competitors and stating that their friendship and business relations will remain the same.

The magazine released portions of a freestyle Eminem done when he was young. In this song, he disses a Black woman whom he used to date. The rapper demanded the magazine to cease publishing of his song.

Benzino refused and aired out the entire song in full. Eminem's publishing company sued The Source and won a hefty amount.

In 2005, Benzino and Dave Mays were let go after Black Enterprises took over the struggling magazine.

Benzino and Mays both went on to create another hip-hop magazine called Hip-Hop Weekly. The Weekly is a gossip rag that covers issues such as the hip-hop feuds and controversy in politics. Benzino and Mays continue to make themselves relevant in these tough times.

Benzino realized that he's getting older and the music people are listening to isn't his! He promotes himself as the gangsta rapper who hailed from the "mean streets" of Boston. The American hip-hop listener likes catchy beats and easy to remember hooks. Nothing about the complex struggle in the streets. No tales of hustling to eat and running from the police.

What Benzino failed to do in his feud with Eminem is actually know who he's dealing with.

At the time of this feud, Benzino and his partner Dave Mays were in charge of the hip-hop magazine, The Source. In January 2003, the rapper released multiple disses going after Eminem, his group D12 and 50 Cent. Benzino teamed up with 50 Cent's rival Ja Rule to go after Eminem.

Eminem went to the microphone and literally destroyed Benzino's career and credibility as a fair journalist.

It took over 10 years. Benzino finally admits that he lost the rap feud and Eminem deserves respect. He apologizes to Eminem during an interview with Sway Calloway of MTV and Shade45.
