| This is a mannequin. In the 2020s, real incidents. |
Well.
This is something that I will now have to devote my time to.
Let me be clear... I am not suicidal. I will not ever no matter how cruel the world is put an end to my life. I rather die standing on business than allowing failure to kill me.
Making it as clear as I am posting. If anything happens to me, I will say that lived a good life and have a bloodline with my son. But there will be no unaliving myself in this category.
Since 2020, there were 70 incidents of Black men one white man and one Latinx man being hung from trees. These incidents are called suicide but I am calling it bullshit.
Malcolm Harsch, 38, Black: Found hanging from a tree in Victorville, California (May 31, 2020). Ruled suicide.
Robert Fuller, 24 (or reported as 20-24), Black: Found hanging near Palmdale City Hall, California (June 10, 2020). Initially ruled suicide; family and activists raised questions.
Dominique Alexander, 27, Black: Found hanging in a Manhattan park, New York (around early June 2020). Ruled suicide.
Unnamed 17-year-old Black boy: Found hanging from a tree in a Spring, Texas, elementary school playground (around June 2020). Ruled suicide with no foul play.

Demartravion “Trey” Reed, 21, Black: Found hanging from a tree on Delta State University campus, Cleveland, Mississippi (September 15, 2025). Initially ruled suicide; family requested second autopsy amid questions about injuries.
Tory Medley (or similar spelling), Black: Reported in Wisconsin/Mississippi context (2025). Part of broader discussions.
Mario Kaiser Jr., 30, man of color: Found with a noose in North Carolina (April 2025). Ruled suicide; no autopsy performed per some reports.
A white man, Cory Zukatis, 35, was found hanging in Vicksburg, Mississippi, on the same day as Trey Reed (September 15, 2025) and ruled a suicide; unrelated per police.
Recently a 19 year old Hispanic man was found hanging from a tree in Washington, DC.
The 19-year-old was found hanging from a tree in Washington, DC, in a case that investigators say is being treated as a suicide.
Officers were called around 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13, to the 900 block of Quackenbos Street NW after a report of an unconscious person, the Metropolitan Police Department said.
When they arrived, they found the teen hanging from a tree limb, unresponsive and not breathing.
DC Fire and EMS attempted lifesaving efforts at the scene, but he was pronounced dead.
The teen, identified only as a 19-year-old Hispanic man, was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy, which will determine the official cause and manner of death, officials said in an update on Thursday, April 16.
