Sen. John Fetterman (I-PA) looks more like a one and done senator. He is extremely unpopular with Democrats and somewhat popular with Republicans. His job approval in Pennsylvania is 42% favorable and 58% unfavorable. Democrats have him at 32%, while Republicans have him at 44% in favorable views.
Almost three years ago, Republicans call this asshole a vegetable after he has a mild stroke. Fetterman has been a controversial figure since he announced his run.
In 2016, he ran for the senate and lost to Joe Sastek. Fetterman had the backing of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and progressive at the time. Fetterman would end up being lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania when Tom Wolf won his gubernatorial bid.
Fetterman was known for his hoodies, shorts and tattoos. He would travel Pennsylvania on behalf of Wolf to talk about issues in the state.
Fetterman decided to run again after Pat Toomey decided to retire. Conor Lamb who had the backing of Black voters and Malcolm Kenyetta who had the backing of the Black voters as well were concerned about Fetterman.
Fetterman as then mayor of Braddock had chased a Black jogger with a shotgun. He has never apologized and denied it was racism. Fetterman courted the left by running on populist policies that progressives supported.
Fetterman would never attend debates and often ran on the narrative that Pennsylvania voters wanted results not showboats. It worked. He won the nomination.
Two weeks later it was revealed he had a nearly devastating stroke. Many called for him to step down and focus on his health. Fetterman refused to step down. His campaign made run of it and used it to hammer Dr. Mehmet Oz, his Republican opponent.
Oz, a Turkish American media personality cardiothoracic surgeon and neurologist was backed by Donald J. Trump. Oz would be defeated by Fetterman.
Fetterman would vote to confirm Oz to lead Medicare and Medicaid.
Fetterman is the latest Fox News Democrat. He appeared on many of these shows.
What is notable he is appearing on Lara Trump, Mark Levin and Sean "Softball" Hannity's carnivals of utter bullshit.
On Saturday, Fetterman appears on Life, Liberty and Levin to discuss Iran, Israel and the Democrats opposition to President Donald J. Trump's policies.
Noted was his bullshit about Trump Derangement Syndrome. That right there seals his fate. He is riding on this cock of fascism.
He is the most vulnerable Democrat in 2028. He is likely to face a primary opponent so he is likely to retire or continue on as an independent hoping he can court Democrats and Republican votes. He said he will not join the Republican conference for now.
He is an independent who caucuses with the Democrats. Under Joe Biden, Fetterman voted about 85% of the time. Under Donald J. Trump, Fetterman voted about 35% of the time.
