Pete Hegseth Face Impeachment!

Pete Puma faces impeachment threats. The drunk is under fire.

Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-Ariz.) filed six articles of impeachment against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, accusing him of repeatedly violating his oath to the Constitution.

“Pete Hegseth broke his oath to the Constitution, put U.S. troops at grave risk through the unauthorized disclosure of classified information, engaged in abuse of office and conduct beneath the dignity of his office, and carried out unlawful military actions despite his obligation to refuse–including strikes on civilians and a girls’ school in Minab, Iran,” Ansari said in a statement.

“Hegseth’s conduct meets the threshold of high crimes and misdemeanors and warrants immediate removal by Congress,” she said.

Iran American lawmaker Yassamin Ansari calls for Hegseth to be impeached.

House Democrats cosponsoring Ansari’s bill are Reps. Sarah McBride (Del.), Lauren Underwood (Ill.), Al Green (Texas), Steve Cohen (Tenn.), Jasmine Crockett (Texas), Nikema Williams (Ga.), Dina Titus (Nev.), Dave Min (Calif.), Shri Thanedar (Mich.), Melanie Stansbury (N.M.), Mike Quigley (Ill.) and Brittany Pettersen (Colo.).

While it is unlikely to get a passing vote, this has been the latest in a series of recklessness of Hegseth who has refused to address the reasons why the U.S. went to war with Iran.

Hegseth has drawn criticism during his tenure as Secretary of Defense for a variety of actions such as: the fallout from a leaked government group chat on Signal, alleged war crimes related to U.S. military strikes on alleged drug traffickers in the Caribbean Sea, promoting Christianity inside the military, using unmarked military planes for boat strikes, and the use of force and the rules of engagement in the 2026 Iran war.
