So big freaking deal!
Since they were rooting for job loss and economic turmoil but ended up getting a successful jobs report and a better chance to advert a recession, what do the far right complain about?
A balloon from China possibly an intelligence machine was spotted over Montana and the far right is demanding the Biden administration shooting it down.
For one thing, if the thing is shot down, where will it land?
Another thing, this happens all the fucking time, It took one person to photograph it and send it to the fucking junk food media for the far right and some of those cowardly Democrats to seize on.
So on Feb.2, Canadian and U.S. defense officials spotted the surveillance balloon. Canada reported it to NORAD and the U.S. quickly got a lock on it.
The decision to shoot it down was turned down due to the fact that debris could impact property or injure life. Of course, that led to a diplomatic crisis. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was scheduled a visit to China but was recalled and President Joe Biden officially cancelled it.
The Chinese claim it was a metrological balloon to observe weather but given the tension between the U.S. and China over Taiwan, the Americans dismiss that.
The far right could resist playing "armchair general" when it comes to China. Many of the infamous lawmakers on the Republican side have resorted to the baseless claim that "If Washed Up 45 was in the White House, it would have been shot down...."

This is coming from the likes of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-MT), Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN), Rep. James Comer (R-KY) and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
They are conspiracy theorists and known do-nothings. McCarthy, a do-nothing House Speaker is trying to make this about Biden being "weak" on China.
Fox and CNN are non stop with this.
And it's like this hadn't happen before.
It happens all the freaking time.
Republicans wouldn't know what to do with themselves when it comes to a crisis.
Under Republican presidents since 2001, we had Sept. 11, 2001, Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Maria, Hurricane Rita, two reckless wars, deadly pandemic, two recessions and nonstop "owning the libs" legislation.
It's worth noting that many of these Republicans are just wasting your tax dollars to post their firearm selfies on social media.
Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) for example shows how he positions himself.
Greene trolls Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) after he was booted from the House Intelligence Committee by bringing up the alleged Chinese spy who worked in his office.
All of this is money spent to keep these buffoons in office.
That's why we need competent government and not reactionary. Reactionary lawmakers are not only reckless but dangerous to society.
