Put Jane Hope Hamilton In Congress!

Jane Hope Hamilton could win Texas run-off primary.

We need more Shontel Brown like candidates in Congress.

People who do the work and never the noise!

Again, why do we allow white leftists dictate how we vote?

Blacks are not monolithic voters. We are not willing to sacrifice our vote for gentrification politics.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and his ilk are once again making it harder for Democrats to unite. We already see it in the Pennsylvania senate race. John Fetterman, the lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania is the Democratic nominee. He is a walking toxic waste dump and it seems like it difficult to get him across the finish line. He beat Rep. Conor Lamb (D-PA), the only candidate who could win in a state that is trending more conservative.

Fetterman barely won. He beat Lamb and former Pennsylvania state senator Malcolm Kenyatta. Many of the leftists are calling candidates running "corporate Democrats" and the "establishment."

Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX) is retiring.

Now Fetterman who suffered a stroke is back on the campaign trail. He will face questions about him chasing a Black jogger and his previous support of Sanders' policies.

Sanders did not win Pennsylvania in the 2020 primary. Matter of fact, he was trounced by Joe Biden in the 2020 Democratic primary. Sanders and his allies doubled down on trying to

They did it to Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH) when she faced off against leftist Nina Turner. They make up allegations against the candidate, call her corrupt, say that Republicans are bankrolling on that candidate and claim that the system is rigged against the progressive's choice.

Turner burnt bridges.

Fetterman burnt bridges.

Sanders burnt bridges. Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton said that he doesn't do anything but sell a bag of goods to folks who are fooled into believing it.

Does the leftists do self-reflection? Nope. They just keep doubling down and attacking women of color for not backing the white leftists and their choice of candidates.

Now they are doing it to Jane Hope Hamilton.

The Democratic candidate for Texas is running for a House seat being vacated by Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX). She is facing off against Jasmine Crockett, a freshman state legislator who is a progressive Democrat. She is the candidate endorsed by Our Revolution, the Sanders-affiliated group that often sows disinformation about the primary challengers.

Crockett is hoping to tarnish Hamilton as the "establishment" candidate.

What got Hamilton riled up is the attack Our Revolution launched against her. The super PAC called Hamilton the "corporations" chosen candidate. They claimed that Hamilton is funded by a billionaire super PAC.

“Everyone was shocked, and we were also shocked to hear that [Johnson] didn’t know her very well,” Hamilton said about Johnson’s endorsement of Crockett, adding that she had good relationships with her endorsers.

Jasmine Crockett will likely act like an activist instead of a lawmaker.

With Johnson’s full-throated endorsement, Crockett was the highest vote-getter in a nine-way Democratic primary for the seat on March 1. She barely missed the majority threshold needed to avoid a runoff with 48.5% of the vote. Hamilton finished second, more than 30 points down with 17.1% of the vote.

The two are now battling it out in what is the last competitive part of this election, as the district makeup essentially guarantees the winner of the May 24 Democratic primary is the next representative. Crockett is running on her experience as a legislator, a civil rights attorney and as Johnson’s hand-picked successor. Hamilton on the other hand, has gone negative in a campaign ad — attacking Crockett for benefiting from a super PAC and misrepresenting herself as an attorney for Botham Jean’s family.

Crockett is unfazed by the criticism as the race heads into its final stages.

“She’s gotta say something, so she’s saying something. Her record is working for politicians,” Crockett said. “I think the people are clear on who has done something.”

Hamilton is hoping voters will value her years of service in the community.

“Now that we’re down to two, [voters] are able to sit back and really have an opportunity to compare my results — my deliverables for our North Texas community and our state — to my opponent’s rhetoric,” Hamilton told The Texas Tribune. “That is what this is coming down to. We have momentum on our side here on the ground.”

Here's a few things we should know.... Do not underestimate your challenger!

Second, go with the candidate who actually look like they can do their job.

Third, don't often count endorsements as a key to victory. Trust me, if you got the backing of high profile figures like Washed Up 45, President Joe Biden, Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) or Sen. Karen Cruz (R-TX), it wouldn't make a damn difference in swaying voters. Because some of these candidates can benefit whereas others fail in obtaining that victory.

I say this in closing. Go with your gut and vote!

I know that a Black woman will win this. However, which Black woman will promise to work and do their job as a legislator?

We need candidates doing the work, not the noise and distractions.

This is why it's hard to unite around Democrats. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) have made it harder for Democrats to unite because their always in the way fucking things up.

I fully endorse Jane Hope Hamilton for Congress.
