Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) roundly mocked for her political statement of "Tax the Rich" while attending the Met Gala which many attending are paying a hefty sum to get a table.

The New York congresswoman dominated talk about the gala on social media, with people calling her a hypocrite for wearing her economic justice message on the back of a fancy dress while attending a charity event attended by New York and Hollywood elites with tickets that cost $35,000 a pop.

Performance art from members of The Squad. Last month, Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) spent three days and four nights outside the U.S. Capitol to protest the eviction moratorium expiring. She and Ocasio-Cortez could have drafted legislation and try to get it passed through a committee and a floor vote.

All they did was win over a handful of a clicks, a handful of supportive comments and the junk food media covering their protests. At the end of the day, the Supreme Court struck down President Joe Biden's emergency response and punted the decision back to Congress.

Now Congress is doing catch up on a handful of legislative proposals that have slim chance of passage in the Senate. Two idiot Democratic senators are fucking up Biden's agenda on the grounds of this mythical bipartisanship. Even five of these so called Karens in the Senate aren't backing the Democrats.

Ocasio-Cortez is one of 59 members who have low accomplishments. She, Bush, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Rep. Idiot Karen Greene (R-GA), Rep. Karen Boebert (R-CO), Rep. Karen Gaetz (R-FL), Rep. Karen Jordan (R-OH) and Rep. Karen Brooks (R-AL) are notable for being click bait than legislators.

That's probably why a lot of folks on the right and on the left be going at these lawmakers.

They did not elect activists. They elected people who are supposedly required to deliver results to their constituents in their districts.

So this "Tax the Rich" mantra is not going to get anywhere. Ocasio-Cortez has 745,000 constituents who need emergency funding for their flooded homes in Queens and The Bronx by Hurricane Ida. They need roads and bridges fixed. They need to curb gun violence in the five boroughs. They need a person who actually works instead of showboat and takes credit for other people's work.

This dress is tone deaf. She even went on social media to troll those who would dare criticize her for attending the event.

She got a free invite. She got a free dress. Big whoop!

Enjoyed that expensive food, champagne and music. You came to party.

Ocasio-Cortez also made note on her Instagram account that the dress was borrowed from designer Aurora James, who attended the gala along with the congresswoman.

James is the founder of Brother Vellies, a clothing brand focused on traditional African designs and sustainability, and the 15 Percent Pledge, a nonprofit that challenges major retailers to commit a minimum of 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned businesses, according to their respective websites.

Rep. Hakeem Jefferies (D-NY) has considered recruiting a primary challenger to take on Ocasio-Cortez and the six other members. He and Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) have declared war on the Squad. T

hey said their antics cost them seats and now it's time for them to follow Biden's agenda or find another line of work.

Again, this is why Nina Turner lost the special primary. The Democrats saw the writing on the wall.

They do not want a Cori Bush or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in Ohio. Shontel Brown won because she said "I want to be a legislator not an activist." She said that she has 645,000 constituents and their needs are more important than click bait and sloganning.

Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) has also warned that the Squad will damage them going into the midterms.
