Two Karens in Texas fought for the House seat left open after one died. The runoff results are in and it appears that the widow of the lawmaker was handed a defeat. Ron Wright passed away this year from the coronavirus. He was one of the many Republicans who refused to listen to the advice of medical officials.

His wife Susan was the heir-apparent to fill the seat. She was endorsed by Washed Up 45. It turns out the endorsement didn't matter, the other candidate won. This Karen embraced the former president as well but didn't get the endorsement.

Gov. Karen Abbott, a fellow Republican, said in a statement that Ellzey will be "a strong and effective leader for the people of North Texas."

Ellzey was carrying more than 53% of the vote in Texas' 6th Congressional District with results from almost all precincts reported.

In May, Susan Wright, the widow of late Rep. Ron Wright, and Ellzey advanced to the runoff for Texas’ Sixth Congressional District, which many viewed as a bellwether for future contests. The runoff was also seen as a disappointment for Democrats who did not advance.

Wright's husband died of COVID-19 complications in February. She was gracious in her loss.

"Special elections are special, and this one was no exception," she tweeted. "I want to congratulate Congressman-elect Jake Ellzey on his victory. I am praying for his success & wish him well. I will never forget the kindness the people of #TX06 have shown Ron & I for so many years. Thank you."

The Washed Up 45 factor played out on the periphery during the contest. In 2016, he won the district by 12 points, and lost some ground to candidate Joe Biden in 2020, after securing only a 3-point win there. Political insiders say the race between Ellzey and Wright was a litmus test for the former president in Texas and perhaps a gauge of his influence in general.

Ron Wright passed away from the coronavirus. His wife Susan was hoping to capitalize off his death like Julia Letlow when her husband Luke Letow died two days before his swear-in.

"The Trump candidate goes down in TX special That’ll give folks something to chew on!" David Axelrod, the former senior adviser to President Obama, tweeted.

Ellzey did not try to distance himself from Washed Up 45 and instead sought to overcome the lack of former president's backing by raising more money and showing off other endorsements, including the support of former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, the Associated Press reported.

"One of the things that we've seen from this campaign is a positive outlook — a Reagan Republican outlook for the future of our country — is what the people of the 6th District really, really want," Ellzey said, according to the Texas Tribune.

He will be sworn in by either QAnon leader Karen McCarthy (R-CA) or House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). This will make the Texas delegation complete until 2022 when two new districts will be drawn.

The results of the next three contests will determine if the U.S. Congress will be fully staffed. The contests in Florida and Ohio are upcoming. The replacements for Steve Stivers, Marcia Fudge and Alcee Hastings are coming up.

Republicans seem favorable for Ohio's 15th District. Democrats are favorable for Ohio's 11th Congressional District and Florida's 20th Congressional District.

Cowboy Karen will be a burden to President Joe Biden.

The other national race is Ohio's 11th Congressional District. Nina Turner is facing off against Shontel Brown. This race will determine if the last remnants of Bernie Sanders' movement is capable of pulling a victory. Turner is controversial for her remarks about President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. She compared to voting for them as eating a "half a bowl of shit."

We already got a cowboy Karen going in, why not have a token Karen like Turner in the House to oppose Biden's agenda.

If you live in Ohio's 11th Congressional District, please vote in the election. Vote for Shontel Brown.

She will be the perfect candidate to represent Cleveland, Akron and the region. She is not perfect and does have controversial issues attached to her, but she's far better than Turner.

Turner is too much of an activist. She will be the anchor tied to the Democrats neck. She will be too polarizing and it will make it difficult for Tim Ryan, the moderate running for U.S. Senate to win. It will also make Republicans redistrict the area to make Turner and Marcy Kaptur fight over the district.

Turner will cost Democrats in Ohio seats because she's tied to Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush and Rashida Tlaib. They have no accomplishments as lawmakers. I respect their passion but they need to work on fixing the problems and help President Joe Biden succeed.

VOTE FOR SHONTEL BROWN.

IGNORE THE NOISE!
