Chicago rapper Fredo Santana passed away at the age of 27. He leaves behind an 8 month old son
He was affiliated with rapper Chief Keef, the founder of The Glory Boyz Empire. Keef, a controversial figure in hip-hop was proud of the gangsta lifestyle. Santana was his cousin.
He had a fatal seizure over the weekend.

It was known that Fredo (born Derrick Coleman) was addicted to the "lean" and was trying to overcome the addiction.
He was in the hospital for a kidney and liver infection.
Outpouring of sympathy came from rappers from Chicago.
Lil B The Based God, comedian Andy Milonakis, Drake, Action Bronson and others offered their condolences.

The rapper praised Fredo and hope the afterlife is paradise.
