Heart Of Steel!

Conor Lamb is a viable Democratic candidate for the race to replace disgraced Tim Murphy.

Will Donald J. Trump's impact save the 18th Congressional District of Pennsylvania?

On March 13, there will be a special election to replace the disgraced Tim Murphy, the lawmaker who quit his job after he was accused of having an affair with a Pittsburgh coroner. He asked her to have an abortion after a pregnancy scare.

Murphy was an anti-choice lawmaker and one of the so called moral values Republican. He represented suburban Pittsburgh, New Stanton, and the city of Washington, Pennsylvania.
Former lawmaker Tim Murphy created a shitstorm. His seat is now competitive.
He was accused of sexual harassment and berating his staff. He was forced out by Republicans.

Now his seat is up for grabs and the Democrats are hoping to pick off a relatively safe Republican district.

The 18th Congressional District is a mix of rural, suburban and exurban areas.

Murphy won reelection without serious opposition.

Enter Conor Lamb. He is a former U.S. Attorney who is running as a Democrat. He is hoping to bring attention back to infrastructure and the controversial tax cut that Republicans passed last year.
This old buzzard is trying to protect the Republican majority. Rick Saccone said he will embrace the Trump agenda.
The Democrat will run against another moral values, anti-choice, anti-Muslim state lawmaker on the Republican side.

The Pennsylvania state representative Rick Saccone is Trump without the baggage. He says that if they elect Lamb, he will be a Nancy Pelosi clone.

The district has a 2:1 Democratic majority. However, the district trends Republican. That coalition of Trump supporting Democrats could swing the direction of this special election.

Again, this is the usual strategy of the Republicans and right wing demogugues. Tag every candidate running as a Democrat as a liberal and anti-American.

Trump and Pence will stomp for Saccone. They want to nationalize this race to get the endorsements of prominent conservatives and lawmakers.

Will this work?

If the Republican wins the seat by a wide margin, it cools the Democrats sails. But if the Democrat wins this seat, sayonara Republicans.
