The opening of a civil rights museum brings controversy.
The most divisive leader, Donald J. Trump heads to the Museum of Mississippi History and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum.
The governor Phil Bryant invited Trump to make an appearance. His appearance was an insult to Rep. John Lewis (D-GA), Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) and Jackson's mayor Chokwe Lumumba.
They abandoned the opening.
They believe that Trump's attacks on immigrants, Muslims, LGBTQ, the NFL protests, the attacks on Black entertainers and the Charlottesville response showed lack of compassion towards the rights of Americans.
The inept leader stayed on script and remarked about the fictional struggles.
Republicans and especially conservatives like to whitewash history.
If they were alive today, Trump, Republicans, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News and Breitbart would demonize Martin L. King, Jr., Malcolm X and Medgar Evans.
Don't believe the hype.
They were called everything out the book.
Dedicating streets, schools and holidays to these individuals is meaningless.
We will never see a nation coming together. Trump pretty much set back 60 years of progress just by being in the White House.
