Doug Jones will serve the remaining term. |
The Democrat, Doug Jones beats Roy Moore, the Republican who was accused of sexual abuse of nine women when they were underage girls.
At this point, we see the beginning of the end of the Republican majority.
The Republicans placed their bets on Roy Moore, a candidate marred in controversy. A candidate endorsed by Steve Bannon, Sean "Softball" Hannity, Fox News, Breitbart and inept leader Donald J. Trump.
Ride your horse home, you're done! |
Now the civil war begins.
First we want to thank Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) for endorsing Senator-elect Doug Jones in his bid to win.

Congratulations to Doug Jones on a hard fought victory. The write-in votes played a very big factor, but a win is a win. The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time. It never ends!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 13, 2017
Trump remarked in sarcasm.
Even the softball made a snide remark and placed the blame on Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for the loss. He said that he was down for the other White meat.
I own it. I wanted and endorsed Mo Brooks.— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) December 13, 2017
1) MCConnell deserves a lot of the blame for Alabama. Mo Brooks would have won by 20% of the vote, and McConnell interference hurt badly. 2)Peter Strzok, Lisa Page text messages show how CORRUPT the SC Mueller and his team are. Wow! More tomorrow.— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) December 13, 2017
Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) is another bigot. Thank god he lost too.
Understand we are far from done. We will hold Jones and the Democrats accountable.
