After 280 mass shootings, the Republican Party rather you worry about NFL players taking a knee to racism and police brutality. Of course, we continue to talk about Chicago. Republicans will deflect from gun violence to focus on the massacres going on in the third largest city in the United States. Over 500 people were shot and killed in the city of alone this year surpassing its last record.
About 94 people get shot by a firearm a day in the United States.
They will change the narrative from the players protesting police brutality and racism to allegations not respecting the American flag and disrespecting the military and police.
This display of symbolism cost taxpayer money. Second banana Mike Pence flew from Las Vegas to Indianapolis for a few minutes. Pence shared a picture of him attending a game in 2014. He would soon leave for California for fundraising.
Spent $250,000 for this stunt. Not to mention it cost the Secret Service probably over $100,000 to secure Lucas Oil Stadium in preparation of Pence's arrival.

The second banana got huffy and puffy over the NFL players taking a knee. He uses taxpayer money to go to a NFL game only to just walk out because he saw a few of them taking a knee.
At the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers game, Mike Pence and wife Karen walk out in the middle of the football game to protest the NFL. The second banana planned the stunt with approval from the most inept leader in the world.
Many NFL players took a need to protest against racism and police brutality.
They were protesting Donald J. Trump's remarks about Colin Kaepernick. Only a few weeks ago, Trump has said that the NFL owners should fire players for taking a knee.
He called him a "son of a bitch" for taking a knee.
Only a week after a mass shooting, Trump and Pence continue to divide our nation. For what?
Political grandstanding.
