The New York Times has brought down Bill O'Reilly. Now it's working on taking down Harvey Weinstein.
Conservatives will blame the Democratic party for Harvey Weinstein's misbehavior. The fame media mogul who is an actor, movie director and film producer is the company president of The Weinstein Group.
He is an ordained CBE Knight of Royal order.
He may eventually lose all of that if all the confirmations are true.
Today there's a backlash against Weinstein for his misbehavior towards women. He's facing calls for cannon fire because of allegations of sexual harassment.
Harvey Weinstein had donated to charities, lawmakers and campaign. Notable people include Hillary Clinton, former president Barack Obama who received donations from Weinstein.
Weinstein was at the White House getting honored.
Weinstein had donated to the Democratic party, the ACLU, a few state and federal lawmakers and a notable senators.
Democratic senators Elizabeth Warren, Chuck Schumer, Cory Booker, Sherrod Brown, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Al Franken, Bob Casey, Martin Heinrich, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Patrick Lahey.
Most of the senators had returned the money or donated it to charity.
A few notable actress spoke out against Weinstein. Ashley Judd claims that he had once tried to ask her out. Ashley Judd claimed that Weinstein wanted to get a massage from her. He even asked her to watch him shower. A news reporter claims that he masturbated in front of her.
There are more allegations against him. This may be over three decades long of allegations. He's been paying them off without even a blink of an eye.
A third of Weinstein board members resigned in protest after the allegations surfaced. Famed attorney Lisa Bloom dropped him as a client today.
Mika Brzezinski, a former friend of Weinstein said that she will not endorse any of his products. Brazinski wants out of the book deal because of Weinstein's ties to it.
Weinstein has issued a lawsuit against The New York Times for writing a piece about him claiming it was defaming his image as a celebrity, an entrepreneur and philanthropist.
This could be the biggest shock since the Bill O'Reilly and Roger Ailes.
The Weinstein group is investigating the allegations. Weinstein apologized and decided to place himself inside the freezer.
Weinstein is famous for producing the hit films Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, Scream, and Shakespeare in Love.
He champion himself as a progressive who valued humanitarian events and women's rights.
He was rich and very powerful. And of course he thought he could get away with it. He thought wrong. And like Bill O'Reilly and the late Roger Ailes, they realize that with great power comes responsibility. Unfortunately they didn't use their responsibility wisely.
As with Nelly, we will follow the Harvey Weinstein controversy. It won't be long before we hear the news that he was fired out the cannon. The company he built from the ground up we'll have to move past him and move forward.
And like with Republicans, the Democrats will have to figure out who the vet before they accept donations or at least an endorsement.
Big money and power is a big problem in the United States.
Donald J. Trump has set the bar so low we don't know how bad our country will get when it comes to corruption and money. The thing that Harvey Weinstein, Bill O'Reilly, and Roger Ailes are all involved in this sexual harassment is a wake-up call to all CEOs and executives. Just because you have the title doesn't mean you're above us.
