The Klan Flocks To Harrison Arkansas!

Harrison is a friendly town.

Americans Against The Tea Party (AATTP) is becoming my favorite website besides The Hinterland Post, Addicting Info and Raw Story for stuff involving the racist right.

They got this article on a city in Arkansas that's a majority White city. The KLAN is looking forward to adding new residents to the town. I wonder if Craig Cobb got the word.

The sign that greets visitors of Harrison.
Okay, Harrison, Arkansas is about 2 1/2 hours away from Little Rock. The city's racial makeup of the city was 96.2% White, 0.3% Black or African American, 0.6% American Indian and Alaska Native, 0.7% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, and 1.6% from two or more races. 2.2% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There's little to no Black or African American residents in the city.

The racist right would love it.

Why don't Congressman Tom Cotton (R-AK) open two campaign offices there?

Hell get Senator Mark Pryor (D-AK) to march in their parades as their "Grand Pumba"?

Harrison is trying to disspell the notion of being the town that hates Blacks. They want to rid themselves of a resident and his followers.

Thomas Robb, national director of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, maintains his headquarters near Harrison in the outlying town of Zinc and uses a Harrison mailing address for the organization.
Thomas Robb, Knights Party leader and pastor
White extremist Thomas Robb lives outside of Harrison. He's determined to keep the town White and Right.
Combined with the history of the 1905 and 1909 banishment of African-Americans, this incidental connection to the KKK has given the town a negative image which it has taken active steps to combat in recent years.

In 2013, a billboard appeared above a local sign company on the eastern edge of Harrison that read: "Anti-Racist is a Code Word for Anti-White." In response, a local radio station removed its nearby billboard, and students from North Arkansas College passed out fliers calling for a protest of the sign.

An official statement read: "the mayor’s office considers the content inflammatory, distasteful and not in line with the truth on how Harrison is a city of welcoming and tolerant citizens."

David Letterman Retires!

Millions of laughs and hundreds of guests. David Letterman says that the time has come for retirement.

The Late Show with David Letterman is the stable of CBS late nights. And it will soon have a vacancy in the coming year. The host is preparing for retirement.

This was announced on the current taping of the show.

David Letterman 67, started the Late Show in 1993 after a bitter fallout with NBC when he was passed off for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. They had a competitive and yet bitter rivalry for the most part.

Leno was forced out The Tonight Show this year for Jimmy Fallon. Seth Meyers took the mantle of Late Night. Letterman continues to be reigning king of late night.

Jimmy Kimmel regarded Letterman was a mentor and friend. He took to Twitter wish the comedian well.

Letterman announced the news during a taping of Thursday's episode of "Late Show." He called CBS president Leslie Moonves before the program, "And I said ‘Leslie, it’s been great, you’ve been great, and the network has been great, but I’m retiring.'"

The late night host explained that "Moonves, he and I have had a relationship for years and years and years, and we have had this conversation in the past, and we agreed that we would work together on this circumstance and the timing of this circumstance."

"I just want to reiterate my thanks for the support from the network, all of the people who have worked here, all of the people in the theater, all the people on the staff, everybody at home, thank you very much," Letterman said, then joked, "What this means now, is that Paul and I can be married ... we don’t have the timetable for this precisely down – I think it will be at least a year or so, but sometime in the not too distant future, 2015 for the love of God, in fact, Paul and I will be wrapping things up."

By the time Letterman retires, he will have hosted CBS' "Late Show With David Letterman" for 22 years.

He previously hosted NBC's "Late Night" for 11 years.

Paul Shaffer.
Moonves said in a statement that "we knew this day was getting closer" when Letterman went with a one-year extension for his contract, "but that doesn’t make the moment any less poignant for us."

"For 21 years, David Letterman has graced our Network’s air in late night with wit, gravitas and brilliance unique in the history of our medium," Moonves stated. "During that time, Dave has given television audiences thousands of hours of comedic entertainment, the sharpest interviews in late night, and brilliant moments of candor and perspective around national events. He’s also managed to keep many celebrities, politicians and executives on their toes – including me."

"There is only one David Letterman," Moonves added. "His greatness will always be remembered here, and he will certainly sit among the pantheon of this business."

Conservatives Hate Muslims!

American conservatives have another reactionary response to an event.

As developments unfold to how Spc Ivan Lopez went on his rampage at Fort Hood, the president and Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel have issued condolences and the lowering of American flags.

As the conservatives mount another assault against people of color and the president, we here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to those who were lost in this horrible tragedy.

Here's a dose of bigotry courtesy of Pat Dollard of Breitfart News.

The asshole quickly goes to Twitter to post his reactionary outrage towards today shooting at Ft. Hood in Texas.

Also TruthRevolt, a spin off site created by former Breitfart editor Ben Shapiro makes the case to attack the president for heading to Chicago for a fundraiser instead of heading back to the White House.

This event occurred the moment the president got into Chicago. Yet our mindless peons in the racist right can't stomach him in the White House. No amount of good will satisfy these Americans.

It's usually created by two of the country's most notorious agitators. Loserville and That Guy Who Throws Shit To The Wall, the racist right's perfect combination.

That Guy Who Throws Shit To The Wall is already trying to make the racist right have a meltdown against the Muslim community.

Again, extremists don't always have long beards, sandals and turbans. These people are professionally trained to blend in with the Western world.

The racist right takes to the social networks and vent off about this....

Shooting At Fort Hood!

Again a shooting at Fort Hood has the nation mourning.

Nearly five years ago, American soldiers were attacked by their own.

Today, I think it may have happened again! We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to those who were lost in this horrible tragedy. The Associated Press reports that this shooting has multiple injuries and the possibility of death.

One person was killed and 14 injured in a shooting Wednesday at Fort Hood, and officials at the base said the shooter is believed to be dead.

The details about the number of people hurt came from two U.S. officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the information by name.

Fort Hood said in a statement posted online that its Directorate of Emergency Services had an initial report that the shooter was dead, but that the report was unconfirmed. Additional details were not immediately available.

A U.S. law enforcement official said reports circulating within the Justice Department indicate the shooter died of what appears to be a self-inflicted wound. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is still ongoing.

The Army said on its official Twitter feed that the Texas Army post was still on lockdown. Injured people were being treated at the post's Carl R. Darnall Medical Center and other local hospitals.
Nidal Hasan was a decorated soldier. He snapped and ended up killing 13 of his fellow members. He was inspired to kill by American born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki who became a recruiter for extremism. al-Awlaki was killed in 2011 and Hasan was sentenced to the gas house.

President Barack Obama said he was following the situation closely and that the government will get to the bottom of what happened.

He said Wednesday's incident brought back painful memories of a 2009 mass shooting at the Texas Army post. Thirteen people were killed and more than 30 wounded in what was the deadliest attack on a domestic military installation in history.

"We're heartbroken that something like this might've happened again," Obama said at a restaurant in Chicago where he held a fundraiser.

"The folks there have sacrificed so much on behalf of our freedom. Many of the people there have been on multiple tours to Iraq and Afghanistan," Obama said. "They serve with valor, they serve with distinction and when they're at their home base, they need to feel safe. We don't yet know what happened tonight, but obviously that sense of safety has been broken once again."

The November 2009 attack happened inside a crowded building where soldiers were waiting to get vaccines and routine paperwork after recently returning from deployments or while preparing to go to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan was convicted and sentenced to death last year in that mass shooting.

According to testimony during Hasan's trial last August, Hasan walked inside carrying two weapons and several loaded magazines, shouted "Allahu Akbar!" - Arabic for "God is great!" - and opened fire with a handgun.

Witnesses said he targeted soldiers as he walked through the building, leaving pools of blood, spent casings and dying soldiers on the floor. Photos of the scene were shown to the 13 officers on the military jury.
Developments are rapid.
The rampage ended when Hasan was shot in the back by Fort Hood police officers outside the building, which left him paralyzed from the waist down. Hasan is now on death row at the military prison at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas.

After that shooting, the military tightened security at bases nationwide. Those measures included issuing security personnel long-barreled weapons, adding an insider-attack scenario to their training, and strengthening ties to local law enforcement, according to Peter Daly, a vice admiral who retired from the Navy in 2011. The military also joined an FBI intelligence-sharing program aimed at identifying terror threats.

In September, a former Navy man opened fire at the Washington Navy Yard, leaving at least 13 people dead, including the gunman. After that shooting, Hagel ordered the Pentagon to review security at all U.S. defense installations worldwide and examine the granting of security clearances that allow access to them.

The Unlikely Star Of A Viral Video Got Busted For Leaving Scene Of An Accident!

In suburban Tampa, a young woman whips out the camera on an aggressive driver. The aggressive driver closes in on her bumper. She speeds up to avoid him. As he cuts her off, he gives her the finger.

When he recaptures the lane, he jumps the divider and crashes into a streetlight.

"That's what you get," the woman says, laughing loudly. "All on video, buddy."

The video is called Redneck Road Rage Instant Karma. The young woman who refused to be named was going to share this with her friends on YouTube.

Who know it would have went viral?

On top of that, her video helped identify the driver who apparently left the scene of the accident.

Florida State Patrol and Hillsborough County Sheriff will throw the book at this guy.
Not so fast, Mr. White. The guy who got nationally shamed after he got into an accident after starting a road rage event.
The YouTube video has garnered millions of views since it was posted March 26 and now, WTSP reports, the man in the video, who police said is 33-year-old Jeffrey White, was arrested.

Cops said they used footage to get White's license plate number. He was charged with reckless driving, leaving the scene, and failure to wear a seatbelt.

Authorities didn't reprimand her for filming the incident instead of keeping all her attention on the road. Instead, she said to WTSP, they were thankful that the footage helped them collar the culprit.

Glenn Beck Sued For Slander!

If you're looking for the "money man", here he is!

The controversial media mogul gotten served his papers. The controversial media mogul has TheBlaze Network which promotes socially conservative and libertarian programs on DishTV.

Since leaving Loserville, we all but wrote this nut off. How we were wrong!

Now establishing himself in Dallas, Chalk E Becker is gaining recognition as not only a conservative agitator, but a wealthy business owner.

Looks like he'll shelve out some cash....

Last year the conservative media went into full blown panic over two Chechnya men who put two backpack bombs near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. The two men  were white and just like every other American. The thing that got them all in a panic is these two were Muslim extremists.

Instead of wearing the hijab and turbans, the extremists are dressing like normal people. They would listen to the same music you and I listen to. They would travel in vehicles and engage in conversation with people just like you and me.

But the junk food media has the perception that all Muslims are sandal wearing men who carry bombs on their chest.

I guess Chalk E Becker made some stupid comments about an individual. The Washington Post reports that less than one week had passed since a pair of bombs had exploded at the Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring hundreds more. The FBI had just identified the Tsarnaev brothers as primary suspects behind the attack. But to Beck, cloaked in a gray button-down and a sheen of indignation, this wasn’t enough.

In attendance at the marathon had been a 20-year-old Saudi Arabian student named Abdulrahman Alharbi.

He was on a full ride to study at the nearby New England School of English. He’d been injured at the marathon, later questioned by police and ultimately cleared of wrongdoing.

Beck, however, had suspicions. The radio host urged the U.S. government to release information on Alharbi or Beck would “expose” him. “Let me send this message very clear,” said Beck, who left Loserville in 2011. ”We know who this Saudi national is…. We know who this man is and, listen to me carefully, we know he is a very bad, bad, bad man.”
The racist right made Abdulrahman Alharbi look like a criminal.
Beck continued days later: “While the media continues to look at what the causes were [behind] these two guys, there are, at this hour, three people involved,” he said, alleging the U.S. government had “tagged” Alharbi as a “proven terrorist.”

The broadcaster eventually called Alharbi an al-Qaeda “control agent” and the “money man” behind the attacks. “You know who the Saudi is?” Beck asked. “He’s the money man. He’s the guy who paid for it.”

“Is this speculation or are you reporting something?” a co-host asked.

Beck ignored the question. “He’s the money man.”

The “money man” has now filed a defamation suit against Beck, who has made a career out of conspiratorial musings. Beck has not responded publicly to the suit, which was filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Boston. He had not responded to e-mails from The Washington Post as of early this morning.

“Alharbi, like many others, was questioned by federal authorities investigating the events of that day,” says the lawsuit. “The authorities quickly concluded that Mr. Alharbi, other than being injured in the attacks, had no involvement.

“Beck repeatedly and falsely identified Mr. Alharbi as an active participant, repeatedly questioned the motives of federal officials in failing to pursue or detain Alharbi and repeatedly and falsely accused Mr. Alharbi of being a criminal who had funded the attacks,” the lawsuit says.

Beck’s allegations added to a cacophony of misinformation that rose out of the Boston bombings, as anonymous Redditors vented unsubstantiated suspicions, and the New York Post plastered its own accusations on the paper’s cover. (The New York Post was sued for defamation in Massachusetts court over the matter, and the case is pending.)

Beck, normally a frenetic tweeter, has remained quiet since the lawsuit was filed.

The host’s allegations have haunted the Saudi student, according to the complaint. “Alharbi has received numerous messages, internet postings and other communications based on Beck’s false statements accusing him of being a murderer, child killer and terrorist.”

Alharbi told the Islamic Monthly in May that such accusations have left him changed forever. “All the police officers and the FBI … and all the nurses and all the doctors were staring at me…. I was looking [at] them like, is it because of the color of my skin, or is it because of the name of my country?”
