Nelly Off The Hook, For Now!

Nelly gets out of county lockup. No charges.

Cornell Haynes, Jr. is out a free man. The 42 year old rapper known as Nelly is not facing criminal charges for second degree rape.

The accuser didn't want to pursue forward out of fear that he won't be charged. In light of these accusations, the rapper was ordered off the Florida Georgia Line concert tour.

The city of Auburn was going to push for an indictment.

The victim decided that because she may have been under the influence, the law might not believe her and the case won't pursue.

The rapper maintained his innocence throughout the whole ordeal.

He went on to chastise the junk food media for rushing to judgment.

The rapper was best known for the hit singles, Country Grammar, Air Force Ones, E.I., Hot in Here and Ride Wit Me.

Nelly and his group the St. Lunatics were the biggest rap acts of the early 2000s. He put St. Louis on the map. It opened the door to Murphy Lee, Chingy, Ali and J-Kwon.

The rapper has five Grammys wins and is part owner of the Charlotte Hornets.
