Is Drake Still Riding With YMCMB?

This is a picture of the entertainers Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lil' Wayne. Rumors spreading about Drake leaving Cash Money/Young Money Records.

For the hip-hop stans, there's a possible split between the Canadian entertainer and Young Money Entertainment/Cash Money Records. With this album coming out it seems like nothing was the same, literally.

Nothing Was The Same is on the shelves and its minus the usual players of the YMCMB crew.

No Lil' Wayne.

No Nicki Minaj.

No Birdman.

It's purely the sounds of Aubrey "Drake" Graham. He and producer Noah "40" Shebib are the executive producers of the album. There's no mention of Lil' Wayne, Birdman (Bryan Williams) and his brother Ronald "Slim" Williams as executive producers of the album.

The entertainer has enlisted Jay-Z, members of the Wu-Tang Clan, 2 Chainz, and Big Sean. It's pretty much a critically acclaimed hip-hop album with very few mainstream guests other than those mentioned.

This comes as no surprise that it's likely his album will go platinum.

The rumors are now even bigger.

Drake wasn't even featured on the Rich Gang album. The album featured all the members of Cash Money Records along with veteran acts Busta Rhymes, Mystikal, and Limp Bizkit.

As we know Drake, has his own label October's Very Own (OVO Sound) Records. He been running his label alongside the Cash Money/Young Money label for the previous albums.

His albums Thank Me Later and Take Care have won him Grammy's and were platinum selling albums.

Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil' Wayne, Jay-Z and Eminem are the only talents who managed to achieve platinum selling albums.

Anyways, is there something brewing between Cash Money and Drake?

I mean Juvenile, Turk and The B.G. have long complained about the label and how they've done them dirty.

And now it's like history is repeating itself!

In my honest opinion, I've always believe that Drake was more than Cash Money Records. He is an established talent that should have jumped on Jay-Z or Dr. Dre's label in my opinion.

With the procrastination of Dr. Dre and the possibility of ego clash with Jay-Z, it's best that Drake continues to built an empire for himself and his talents.

OVO Sound has signed to Atlantic Records this year and Drake recently signed on PartyNEXTDoor to his label.

HipHopDX reports that Drake goes to The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about his album and what is his future plans.

Drake gave fans a little insight into his dating life during a brief game in which he was shown pictures of different women and commented on what his relationship with that particular person is, if any.

The game first kicked off with a picture of Rihanna, a singer Drake says he had a moment with, before moving on to a picture of Nicki Minaj.
Drake with media mogul Jay-Z.
Not one to shy away from doting on the Jamaica, Queens rapstress, Drake went on to express his appreciation for Nicki before sharing that the two have never had any sort of intimate moment with one another.

“Me and Nicki are like family. I love Nicki with all my heart. We haven’t really shared like an intimate moment like that,” Drake revealed.

Ironically, it was just a few weeks ago when Nicki seemed uncertain of Drake’s fate at the Lil Wayne-led Young Money Entertainment.

Other women brought up during Ellen’s game included model Tyra Banks, Kim Kardashian, and actress Kat Dennings.

Prior to speaking on Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and a handful of other women, Drake spoke briefly on his “Best Rap Album” win at this year’s Grammy Awards and the moment he decided to drink a “vodka concoction” out of his award.

“I did. I got my first Grammy. I got my first Grammy and I gave it to my mom actually,” said Drake. “It’s at my mom’s house…And yeah, I actually took shots out of my Grammy when we got it.”

Drake’s appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” comes days before the September 24 release of the rapper’s third studio album, Nothing Was The Same.

The names of the victims are released and some had lives that many of our readers have.

Their lives were taken out by this nutjob Aaron Alexis.

We want to take a moment to send our condolences to the victims of the DC Navy Yard Shooting.

Some were fathers, mothers, grandparents, celebrating joys, experiencing sorrows. These individuals were expecting a normal day at the job and all that ended when Alexis got the firearms and started popping off.

It's a tragedy that every mass shooting in America leads to Congress doing nothing. And by doing nothing, we'll continue having more and more until it hits the steps of the U.S. Capitol.

Just in Chicago last night, 12 people were shot. A toddler is facing life threatening injuries after a gunman fired off at a group of people.

CNN has the names of each victim who died in this horrible tragedy.

These Americans were doing what most of us were doing. Working to support their families and themselves.

A man would take these lives before the law took his.

If we could do anything, how about we pass a stricter background check on those who operate firerarms?

I'm a firearm owner and I think it's time for reasonable gun control.

Arsenio Hall: We're Making History!

Back from the dad

Television personality Arsenio Hall made a big comeback this month. September is off to a great start for the Arseino Hall Show. The debut of his late night talk show proves to be fruitful. His ratings are good.

Coming out of semi-retirement the entertainer revived The Arsenio Hall Show. On most of your CW affiliate stations, Arsenio is on. During the 1990s he would do celebrity interviews and became a focal point to Arkansas governor Bill Clinton, a man who would later become the 42nd President of the United States.

The show was aimed primarily at the younger urban audience, with Eddie Murphy (a personal friend of Hall's) and other performers often featured. Other semi-regular guests who were on The Arsenio Hall Show included Andrew "Dice" Clay and Paula Abdul.

Paula Abdul and Snoop Dogg (Snoop Lion) would later returned for debut of his new show.

The show quickly appealed to young people of all races and began to attract a wide variety of guests (although this popularity with audiences was short-lived, leading to the show's cancellation).

It became the show for entertainers to go to in order to reach the "MTV Generation."

The show was known for the audience's chant of "Woof! Woof! Woof!" while pumping their fists in a circular motion. Some say this was appropriated from the fan chants at Hall's hometown team of Cleveland Browns games. Others have speculated that it came from the chant of Black Greek Letter Organization Omega Psi Phi fraternity. In any case, it quickly became associated with Hall's show and with Hall himself. Arsenio was also well known for his long fingers, and it became a long-running gag including some episodes on In Living Color.

Arsenio brings his "woof-woof" fist pounds and his antics back to the late night.

Arsenio is competing with Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Conan O'Brien.

Even the political agitators are throwing their weight and well wishes to Arsenio.

We'll see how it goes. Arsenio Hall, we wish you well dog!

Louisiana Mom Pissed At School Over Twista Being A Homework Assignment!

Chicago rapper Twista was a homework assignment and the ire of the racist right.

The conservative media is working into overdrive over the school assignment at a primary school.

A concern mom finds out her son's homework had mentions of firearms, prostitutes and a mainstream Chicago rapper named Twista. The rapper is considered one of the fastest lyricists by Guinness World Records.

She reports this to the local news agitators. So I guess That Guy Who Throws Shit On The Wall got wind of the story and posted it on his website and here we go.

Another word vomit attacking President Barack Obama, embattled Senator Mary Landrieu (D-Louisiana), Republican governor Bobby Jindal, the hip-hop music industry, the video game industry and the Black community.

Obviously since this about Chicago rapper Twista, it's an automatic discussion about crime in the city, the president and Trayvon Martin.

The racial extremist will say that Twista is one of "Obama's sons".

Todd Starnes is a total dickhead.
Some dickhead named Todd Starnes of Loserville wrote a piece about this mom's concerns with hip-hop being a part of American history. He's the guy who went into a holy shit outrage over President Barack Obama's disappointment in the George Zimmerman verdict.

Vermilion Parish, Louisiana students were given a homework assignment that included words like “Po Pimp” and “mobstaz,” but school officials said the worksheet was age appropriate based on an education website affiliated with Common Core education standards.

“I try to instill values in my son,” parent Brittney Badeaux told Loserville. “My goal is for him to ultimately to become a great man, a family man, a well-rounded man. And now my son wants to know what a pimp is.”

Badeaux was helping her 9-year-old son with his homework when she heard him say the words “Po Pimp” and “mobstaz.”

“I couldn’t believe it at first – hearing him read it to me,” she told Fox News. “So I looked at the paper and read the entire article. It was filled with Ebonics.”

The worksheet, obtained by KPEL provided contextual examples of the word “twist.” It included references to tornadoes and the 1950’s dance craze – the “Twist.”

But it also included a paragraph about “Twista” – a rapper with the group Speedknot Mobstaz who performs a single titled, “Po-Pimp.”

“It was really inappropriate for my child,” Badeaux said. “He doesn’t’ know what a pimp or mobster is.”

She also took issue with the school sending home a worksheet that intentionally misspelled words.
The racist right fumed up over a school assignment about Twista. Whether they like it or not, the rapper is a part of American history. He is the world's fastest lyricist.
“I try to teach him morals and respect and to speak correctly,” she said. “It’s hard for a fourth grader to understand Ebonics when you’re trying to teach him how to spell and write correctly.”

Vermilion Parish School Superintendent Jerome Puyau told Loserville the “po-pimp” assignment was aligned to a fourth grade English Language Arts standard for Common Core.

“Out of context, this word is inappropriate,” Puyau said. “However, within the Common Core standards, they do want us to discuss real world texts.”

The Common Core State Standards initiative is a plan devised by the nation’s governors and backed by the Obama administration to set a uniform standard for grades K-12. In practice, it will ensure that every child in the nation reaches the same level of learning. So far, 45 states have agreed to use Common Core – including Louisiana.

“The Common Core curriculum, like it or not – we have to make our students successful,” the superintendent said. “We know that in New York proficiency in state testing was very low. We foresee that our students will not be successful unless with align everything to the common core standards.”

And that’s why fourth graders were learning about pimps and mobstaz.

“We want them to read real world texts,” he said. “We know they will go into a department store and see an album with that language on it. We know that will happen. But is that something they should be reading in the schools?”

Puyau conceded the actual paragraph in the assignment was not appropriate for 9-year-olds – even though Common Core-affiliated education site said it was.

“We are going to edit and audit everything that comes through,” he said. “In southwest Louisiana we do have high morals. We’re going to utilize everything that we have to ensure our parents that what they are reading is appropriate to grade level.”

So I guess if Ted Nugent was included in the homework assignment, would you hear a peep out of this woman or this dickhead Starnes?

Twista is born Carl Mitchell. He is an American rapper. He hails from Chicago, Illinois and is known for his Chopper style of rap and for once holding the title of fastest rapper in the world according to Guinness World Records in 1992, being able to pronounce 598 syllables in 55 seconds.

In 1997, after appearing on Do or Die's hit "Po Pimp" produced by The Legendary Traxster, Twista signed with Big Beat/Atlantic Records and debuted with that label with Adrenaline Rush and formed the group Speedknot Mobstaz in 1998.

His 2004 album Kamikaze went to the top on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart after the success of his Billboard Hot 100 single "Slow Jamz".

Twista appears on Atlantic Records.

Weeper Boehner Gambles His Political Future!

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) can't keep his party together.

Once this guy represented my neighborhood. A man who has dedicated his life to being an elite. John Boehner is the current Speaker of the House. He is the main Republican leader. He is at odds with the extremist wing of the Republican Party over his handling over issues.

So in order to win their support, he'll go forward into the political suicide mission of his speakership.

The Republican House members voted in support of cutting the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) of $39 billion in an attempt to punish the middle class in the poor struggling in the sluggish economy. Food stamps are a part of the safety net and racist right are celebrating a victory.

Clearly it's not going to pass the U.S. Senate and it faced the veto of President Barack Obama.

Instead of passing serious laws like gun control and immigration reform, the Republicans are back at the bottom of the barrel looking for that pickle in the brim. This latest attempt of trying to cut spending isn't a smart idea.

The Republicans seriously believe the poor are the reasons for the economic turmoils.

Unapologetic as they are, they vow to defund Obamacare. They clearly have no chance in hell to repeal or defund the healthcare law. The Republicans are in a civil war with one another. The Republicans are fearing a public backlash to the possibility of losing the House in the Midterm elections.

These political suicide moves doesn't stop the cameras from rolling on Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky), Senator Lindsay Graham (R-South Carolina), Senator John McCain (R-Arizona), Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah), Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota), Congressman Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) and the remaining members of the Republican Party. These Republicans are part of the Tea Party movement.

The Tea Party Movement is struggling for survival. If they can't get Obamacare defund or repealed, then its conservative outreach will sit out the Midterms.

When you look at the situation, I figure that Republicans are seriously concerned about food stamp fraud and the misuse of them. That's fine. I mean there are some who sell food stamps for drugs. But for the millions of Americans who depend on food stamps when the food prices are high, the fuel prices are high and the cost of living going up, those few who take advantage of the system is just 8%.

A measly 8% of the food stamp users are exploiting for fraud.

This gridlock will be the death of Congress. They're polling very unfavorably. I am guessing Congress job approval is at 14%.

The Republicans already lost an election this year. Why are they continuing the same path to failure?

Speaker John Boehner represents parts of Southwestern Ohio. His district is heavily favored for Republicans. The speaker's district includes Troy, Springfield, New Carlisle, Eaton, Greenville, Oxford, Hamilton, Middletown, Tipp City, and his hometown of West Chester.

His leadership is ranked unfavorable. Nancy Pelosi, the California Democrat who was a Speaker herself did more as a leader than this guy.

It's an embarrassment for Ohio to have a lawmaker who cries in public events. It's an embarrassment for Ohio to have a lawmaker in high power fold to the extremists.

It's reasons to why it's important to send the racist right Tea Party back into the dustbin of history.

NJ GOP Senate Candidate: Cory Booker Is A Dope Boy!

Republican candidate playing racial politics.

The Republicans are hoping that they can take the steam out of Newark mayor Cory Booker's bid for U.S. Senate.

Steve Lonegan is hoping that his long shot bid for U.S. Senate is going at least be worth the fight.

In his attempt to paint the mayor of Newark as a "lazy ineffective gay NIGGER", the Republican decides to stand near one of the few properties that Booker owns in Newark.

He make the assumption that Booker is a "dope boy" who is "jugging through a trap!"

The Urban Dictionary for dope boy and jugging.

DOPE BOY: Any person who distributes illicit substances. Most often used to describe a young male that sells to a specific geographic area or neighborhood, and most likely moves hard drugs (ex. cocaine, crack), as well as the standard marijuana and prescription pills. Mostly used in the Southern part of the US, even though its use has become more widespread due to the emergence of southern Rap in the mainstream.

JUGGING: Intravenous injection of drugs (heroin) into one's jugular vein, located in the neck. Assistance from another person is often required. usually the person using has to lay down and hold their breath, in order to puff out the veins; someone else will then do the injection for them.

Another example of dog whistle politics from the political party that believes Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr is one of them and President Barack Obama is an adjective attached to a noun.

Talking Points Memo reports that Lonegan's "crack house" accusations are in response to reports published in the New York Post and Bergen Record in recent days about a property Booker obtained while mayor.

The property drew complaints from neighbors who said it was left vacant and "overrun by squatters."

"Mayor Steve Lonegan, the Republican candidate for the United States Senate, will hold a press conference today in front of Cory Booker's abandoned property, now a crack house," a press release announcing the event said.
It's almost over!
In another story published Monday, the Post reported a neighbor who lived near the building said she wrote "many many letters to [Booker] about squatters in the yard, people using drugs." According to the Record, Booker purchased the building in 2009 and sold it to a non-profit he owns for $1 "less than three weeks" after the late Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) announced he would not run for re-election in February of this year.

Lonegan's press conference is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET. TPM reached out to Lonegan's spokesman, Will Gattenby, to ask whether they had any evidence of drug-related activity at the building.

"I think we'll speak to that today in the press conference," Gattenby said.

So if people trespass on abandon property to set up a trap, it's Cory Booker's fault for it.

The open seat is LIKELY DEMOCRAT so it wouldn't matter who the Republicans line up, they don't have a candidate that appeals to the needs of New Jersey.

Republicans, you can learn a lot from Governor Chris Christie.

If Booker should win the election, he will be the first elected Black senator since Barack Obama. He will be the third Black U.S. Senator in the current 113th Congress. Tim Scott is the current South Carolina Republican U.S. senator. Mo Cowan was the second Black U.S. Senator. He was from Massachusetts. He served at least six months before Ed Markey won the special election.

GA Teen Rescued After An Armed Robbery And Kidnapping!

Teen was kidnapped by armed robbers. Found safe in Atlanta suburbs.

Ayvani Hope Perez, was found safe today after the law found her in the suburban Atlanta area of Conyers, Georgia. The nation is relieved that her young life was spared today.

The young teen along with her brother and mother were held hostage by two individuals who demanded money. The two individuals ended up shooting and killing their family dog. When the neighbors tipped off the law to a gun going off, the two individuals panicked and took the girl as "collateral".

There were suspects. These individuals are being sought. Two others were caught after botched robbery and kidnapping.

The suspects who would later be sought after and caught. They were caught after numerous tips led to the whereabouts of the young girl's location.

Clayton County Police Chief Gregory Porter in a press conference this afternoon. "This is a good day for the family," Porter said.

He credited "hardcore law enforcement, boots to the ground," for helping authorities locate the teen, who he said was found in good health but is undergoing an evaluation.

The teen has since been reunited with her family, Porter said, and two suspects have been taken into custody.

The suspects were identified by the FBI as Wildrego Jackson of Atlanta, and Juan Alberto Contreras-Rodriguez, a 40-year-old Mexican national who is being held on immigration-related charges.

This is an open investigation because the individuals arrested weren't the ones who were described in the mugshot detail.

Perez was in her pajamas when police say two men broke in the back door of her Ellenwood, Georgia., home Tuesday at 2:15 a.m. looking for jewelry and money. When Perez's mother said the family didn't have any, the suspects shot the family dog and fled the home with Perez, according to police.

The family had just moved to Ellenwood, a small community about 10 miles southeast of Atlanta, a month ago and police believed they had no connection to the abductors.
