Civic Duty!

The names of the victims are released and some had lives that many of our readers have.

Their lives were taken out by this nutjob Aaron Alexis.

We want to take a moment to send our condolences to the victims of the DC Navy Yard Shooting.

Some were fathers, mothers, grandparents, celebrating joys, experiencing sorrows. These individuals were expecting a normal day at the job and all that ended when Alexis got the firearms and started popping off.

It's a tragedy that every mass shooting in America leads to Congress doing nothing. And by doing nothing, we'll continue having more and more until it hits the steps of the U.S. Capitol.

Just in Chicago last night, 12 people were shot. A toddler is facing life threatening injuries after a gunman fired off at a group of people.

CNN has the names of each victim who died in this horrible tragedy.

These Americans were doing what most of us were doing. Working to support their families and themselves.

A man would take these lives before the law took his.

If we could do anything, how about we pass a stricter background check on those who operate firerarms?

I'm a firearm owner and I think it's time for reasonable gun control.
