Is That You, Mitt?

Shake the Etch-A-Sketch!
Wow, what a day!

Mother Jones really got the October Surprise out early. This is a shocking development to the country's most inept politically awkward perennial candidate who happens to be Republican nominee for president.

YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. The most powerful things in American media. You're never far from the prying eyes of the amateur filmmaker. It takes one person and a camera to expose this fool for what he is!

This could shake things up in favor of President Barack Obama.

Now while I'm kind of giddy about the latest developments to how a serious candidate for president managed to not only bring forth the argument of him being "out of touch", but the fact he took an overly inflated and grossly misinformed statement and ran with it!

According to sources, Romney stated that the overwhelming majority of voters who back President Barack Obama do so because they are "dependent on government" and "believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing!"

Mitt Romney told a closed-door gathering of about 30 major donors earlier this year, about his disdain for those in the middle class, according to video of the event that has surfaced on the Internet.

Romney is a privileged person. He's the son of an automotive executive turned governor. He's never served in the Vietnam War. He supported the war and dodged it to serve as a goodwill ambassador in France.

He doesn't know much about being a middle class voter! He thinks that 47% of supporters of Obama are lazy, "gubmint" dependent losers!

The Politico, The Huffington Post, Mother Jones, Talking Points Memo, Addicting Info all contribute to this bombshell. It's Monday and this is going to be weeks of progressives shaking their fist in anger and demanding that the president hit this sucker where it hurts.

The person who uploaded a series of potentially inflammatory videos from the fundraiser has claimed authorship of them in an email exchange with The Huffington Post. The source said he or she wishes to remain anonymous for professional reasons and to avoid a lawsuit. The videos, which have created a buzz on the Internet, were blurred and at times blacked out to obscure the location of the filming, the source said.

"I have obviously degraded the quality to attempt to camo the location," said the clandestine filmmaker. The original, which has not been posted in full, is very high quality, the source said.

The source has given the full video to Mother Jones' David Corn, the source said.

The videos capture Romney speaking loosely about Obama supporters, immigrants, privilege and a host of other controversial issues. The candidate seems unguarded and displays the sense of humor that is often mentioned by those close to him, but is so rarely on public display.

It's Romney's remark about the president's backers that might have the most potential to undermine his candidacy, however, as Romney seeks to persuade people who voted for Obama in 2008 to switch this time.

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what," Romney says in one clip. "All right -- there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent on government, who believe that, that they are victims, who believe that government has the responsibility to care for them. Who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing."

Romney's comments on the video go a step beyond his August claim, made in public, that the Obama administration's state-by-state welfare waivers were an effort to "shore up his base." In the behind-closed-doors speech to donors, Romney seems to be suggesting that nearly half of Americans expect to have all their needs supplied by the government.

"[M]y job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives," Romney also said in the video, according to Mother Jones.

As for the other 53 percent? Romney may have been referencing a meme started by conservative blogger Erick Erickson, who has noted that only 53 percent of Americans pay federal income taxes. Erickson argued that the rest of the country, and in particular the Occupy Wall Street movement, should "suck it up you whiners."
Mitt Romney claims that President Barack Obama supporters fail at paying taxes. He's gotten caught up in the moment of letting one slip.
The notion that Democrats hope to ride dependency to political power is one that has no shortage of adherents among conservatives. “We are reaching the tipping point where the majority of Americans are recipients of government programs,” columnist George Will said recently on Laura Ingraham's radio show. "Heavens, one in seven of Americans is on food stamps today. The gamble -- it's really not a gamble, the tactic -- of the Democratic Party is to run up the dependency ratio in this country until you get 50-60 percent of Americans dependent on the government in at least one or often in multiple ways, at which point they figure the party of government will always win."

But there are a few problems with the idea of the overburdened "53 percent." Many Americans don't pay federal income taxes, in part, because of deductions like the child tax credit that have been championed by conservatives and progressives alike. Almost all of the "47 percent" do pay other federal taxes in the form of Social Security and Medicare payroll deductions and gas levies, as well as a variety of state and local sales and property taxes that aren't dependent on income.

"Mitt Romney wants to help all Americans struggling in the Obama economy. As the governor has made clear all year, he is concerned about the growing number of people who are dependent on the federal government, including the record number of people who are on food stamps, nearly one in six Americans in poverty, and the 23 million Americans who are struggling to find work," Romney spokeswoman Gail Gitcho said in a statement responding to the video's release. "Mitt Romney's plan creates 12 million new jobs in four years, grows the economy and moves Americans off of government dependency and into jobs."

A separate video clip that featured Romney addressing deplorable conditions at a Chinese factory began making the rounds on the Internet last month. In that video, he contrasted the conditions he witnessed on a business trip to China with conditions in the United States, where he said, "Ninety-five percent of life is set up for you if you were born in this country."

Commentators have seized on the assertion that people are mostly set if they're born in the U.S. In fact, tens of millions of Americans are jobless or living in poverty. The notion also cuts against one of Romney's campaign themes, which is that those who are successful have gotten to where they are on their own.

In addition, the video is notable for Romney's recounting of conditions he saw at the factory. By his own telling, he seemed satisfied when the factory owner told him the barbed wire was to keep job-seekers out, not to keep workers in. Romney may have been referring to conditions at Global Tech Appliances Inc., a Chinese manufacturer, in which Bain Capital invested, that was fined $2.65 million for ripping off a deep-fat fryer design, according to Boston Globe reporter Matt Viser.

There are at least 10 of these videos, each allegedly clipped from the same fundraiser. A YouTube link to the Chinese factory clip, it turns out, was initially posted in May in the comments section of The Huffington Post under the handle romneyexposed.

The commenter posted a link to a YouTube account by the same name, which includes a version of the factory video and three others. Six more videos exist under another account.
It's almost over!
In one of the other videos, Romney lamented, in a joking way, that he would have a better chance of being elected if his father had been ethnically Mexican, rather than born to white parents living in Mexico.

"My dad, as you probably, know was the governor of Michigan and was the head of a car company. But he was born in Mexico ... and, uh, had he been born of, uh, Mexican parents, I'd have a better shot at winning this," Romney said. "But he was unfortunately born to Americans living in Mexico. ... I mean I say that jokingly, but it would be helpful to be Latino."

In a separate video, Romney talks about his success. "Both my dad and [wife] Ann's dad did quite well in their lives. But when they came to the end of their lives and passed along the inheritance to Ann and me, we both decided to give it all away. So I have inherited nothing. Everything that Ann and I have, we earned the old-fashioned way."

Romney's parents did pay for his boarding school, his college, his graduate school and his first home.

He got closer to the truth in another clip. "There's a perception that all of you were born with a silver spoon. You know, you never had to earn anything and so forth," Romney said to the donors. "Frankly, I was born with a silver spoon, which is the greatest gift you can have -- which is to get born in America."

This story was updated to add context from a fuller version of the video posted by Mother Jones, and to add a response from the Romney campaign.

Mitt Romney, get this through your thick noggin! We are all Americans. We love this country just as much as you and your supporters. The Democratic Party nor the Republican Party owns "freedom" or "liberty". We're not tax dodging losers like you claim! We're not dependent on the government as you claim! The American people who support President Barack Obama do pay their taxes! I don't know where the heck you got your information, but based on this comment and many others, I can say this with no remorse: You're done! You're a total asshole and you'll never be President Of The United States!

The Rodeo Of Shame: Announcer Attacks Michelle Obama!

National Geographic with Michelle ObamaThese people have no respect for the office of The President Of The United States. These people are still obsessed with the battles of yesteryear!

Not only this person said an offensive joke that is consider racist, but rather another sexist joke at the expense of First Lady Michelle Obama and Ann Romney.

It was rodeo clown Mike Hayhurst of Barstow, not announcer Ed Kutz of Arroyo Grande, who made a racist joke about Michelle Obama over the public address system of the Creston Classic Rodeo on Saturday, a rodeo board member confirmed.

Spectators initially believed that Kutz made the comment because both he and Hayhurst were on microphones at the same time.

Hayhurst has performed at the event for several years, but is an independent contractor and not officially affiliated with the rodeo, said Creston Classic Rodeo board member Mike Barrett.

Speaking on behalf of the rodeo’s nine-member board, Barrett said that the board is not responsible for the joke and will ask Hayhurst for a letter addressing the issue and a public apology. The board will discuss at its next meeting if it will fire Hayhurst, and will review scripts for future performances by any clown.

“We probably won’t be using his services in the future,” Barrett said of the clown.

Hayhurst was not performing at the rodeo on Sunday and was unavailable for comment because he is in the hospital, Barrett said. Hayhurst was taken to a local hospital on Saturday evening for head injuries. Barrett did not know if the injuries were related to an accident at the rodeo Saturday, in which a bull tossed Hayhurst into the air.

Kutz, who was erroneously identified at the one who made the comment in initial reports, declined to speak to The Tribune Sunday.

ORIGINAL: An announcer at the Creston Classic Rodeo offended some in the audience Saturday when he made a racist joke about first lady Michelle Obama over the PA system. Now, at least one rodeo board member is demanding an apology.

“I was really appalled and the people around me were really appalled,” said spectator Dona Wilson of Santa Margarita. “He was acting like we were buying into his bigotry and we weren’t.”

Wilson said she heard a lady beside her say: “ ‘Whoa! Racist or what?’ ”

According to Wilson, the joke as told by the announcer, went something like this: Playboy is offering Ann Romney $250,000 to pose in the magazine and the White House is upset about it because National Geographic only offered Michelle Obama $50 to pose for them. “I can’t speak for the board, but I myself think that this is unacceptable behavior or conduct by the announcer,” said Mike Barrett, Creston Classic Rodeo board member. “I find it offensive, and I think that it’s conduct unbecoming the rodeo announcer.”

Wilson did not know the name of the announcer, but three board members told The Tribune the announcer was Ed Kutz of Arroyo Grande. It could not be confirmed that he was the one who made the remarks.

Barrett said he called Kutz and asked for him to apologize, but could only reach his answering machine.

Barrett, who did not hear the remarks firsthand, learned of them when his sister-in-law, Wilson, told his wife.
Rodeo clowns. A California rodeo announcer said an offensive joke about First Lady Michelle Obama.
“There was no way I was going to let that go unmentioned,” Wilson said. “I think there should be an apology made over the loudspeaker.”

Aside from Barrett, only two of the rodeo’s nine-member board could be reached by The Tribune: Tom Hansen and Rick Heim both said they could not comment because they had not heard the joke.

None of the board’s other members returned calls from The Tribune.

Kutz could not be reached for comment.

Racist jokes about Obama appearing in National Geographic magazine have been circulating for several years.

One Obama Hug Sparks Boycott Of Pizza Shop!

Republicans Threaten to Boycott Florida Pizza Shop Because Owner Hugged President Obama
A Huge Hug Pisses Off Conservatives.

You realize that this is going to be likely victory for Barack Obama. This type of nonsense is allowed when an all out hatred of a person they'll never meet in their sad pathetic lives. When a person supports President Barack Obama, expect them to get shuffled around by these conservative agitators. Death threats by the disturbed and boycott of businesses.

This is coming from Gawker and Complex Magazine online.

Scott Van Duzer became a pop culture phenomenon when he gave President Obama the ultimate bear-hug last week at his Florida pizza shop, and now he's facing absurd backlash from local Republicans who are threatening to boycott the place, all because he showed the President some love. The most absurd part of this whole mess is that Van Duzer is a Republican himself. Apparently, he's a traitor and poor businessman now.

Obama paid Van Duzer a visit because he was impressed with the man's charity work. Van Duzer was aware of the President's arrival, but lost his composure as soon as he saw him. See, even proud Republicans get starstruck at the sight of the POTUS. Bitter Republicans retreated to Yelp to criticize the hug, saying it would hurt his business, but most of those comments have been replaced by overwhelmingly positive reviews.

Come one folks, your pizza isn't tainted because the shop owner hugged the President.

Rush Limbaugh: al-Qaeda Threw Osama bin Laden Under The Bus To Make Obama Win!

I've listened to the Friday episodes of Neal Boortz, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Their radio programs are the stable of my entertainment when I'm bored with the hip-hop stations. When the opportunity is right, I sometimes cleanse my head of the negativity with progressive radio hosts Stephanie Miller and Alan Colmes.

Each of them have nothing but Obama on their tongues. This is a sign that they're giving up on Mitt Romney as the viable candidate to take on President Barack Obama. These characters (known as conservative agitators) name drop the president more than anything else this week! They know the gig is up for Romney.

Of course, Sean Hannity is madly obsessed with the Egyptian conservative Muslim Brotherhood, a political group that swooped into power under the country's first democratically held elections this year.

The crisis in the Middle East has the United States doing damage control. The United States is denouncing the violence that led to the death of diplomat Christopher Stevens.

Tyrone Woods, former U.S. Navy Seal died in attack.
President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appear at Fort Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. They awaited the arrivals of the coffins of the men who lost their lives in this senseless violence over an American bigot's decision to rile up tension in the Middle East. The president and Secretary Clinton spoke favorably of the late Stevens and three

This bigot created a movie depicting the Prophet Mohammad in a negative light. The person who filmed this movie is fearing for his life. With good reason! His decision to use his freedom of speech to promote religious intolerance has probably undone the progress of the United States relations in the Middle East.

Afghanistan is the longest war in the history of the United States. President Barack Obama outline withdrawal in the Summer of 2014. The Republicans crow about the president not saying "War on Terrorism" or "declaring victory" in their statements. They're so invested in symbolic themes to paint themselves as the "Savior of the world" and the like!

Rush Limbaugh is no stranger to controversy. This year alone, the Big Voice on The Right has taken drastic steps to prevent another potential boycott of his show. He lost a number of national endorsements and is trying to regain some footing since the Sandra Fluke controversy.
Libya Attack Victims
Sean Smith and Glen Doherty died in U.S. Embassy Attack.
Limbaugh, 62 has been a huge thorn to the president.

Limbaugh mocks the president by mocking his middle name in a humming sound. He had the nerve to call the president, reality star Kim Kardashian in response to his fundraisers with major celebrities in Hollywood. He knocked First Lady Michelle Obama for being "not like the women that baseball star Alex Rodriguez dates". In other words he called the first lady, fat.

Yet, no one has taken to the streets demanding him being pulled from the radio over comments like this. But it took a private citizen to make it possible. Rush Limbaugh made Sandra Fluke the voice and face of the women's right movement.

This week, the conservative agitator makes his opinion known that he long wished Osama bin Laden was still alive invoking fear upon the United States.

Rush Limbaugh on Friday went into this tirade over media knocking the foreign policy gaffe Mitt Romney made on Wednesday. He claims that President Barack Obama doesn't care about the victims lost in the Libyan embassy attack. He also attacked the president for going to a fundraiser being sponsored by media mogul Jay-Z and his wife pop singer Beyonce.
Christopher Stevens, U.S. Ambassador who died in embassy attacks.
The conservative agitator goes forth with a ridiculous notion that the terrorist group al-Qaeda gotten tired of being pushed around by Osama bin Laden, so they've decided to hand him over to the United States to make the president look good.

“What if Ayman al-Zawahiri and other Al Qaeda leaders gave up Osama bin Laden for the express purpose of making Obama look good?”

 “Giving Obama stature, political capital?”

The Politico reports, Limbaugh, admitting he had a “wild theory” and was “just thinking off the top of my head,” said bin Laden — the founder of Al Qaeda, its leader for more than two decades and a major funder of its operations until he was killed by Navy SEALs in 2011 — was “expendable.”

“al-Qaeda was not depending on Osama bin Laden for operational leadership,” Limbaugh said. “His day had come and gone.”

Limbaugh said the terrorist group would rather have Obama in power to help them get “what they want more than anything in the world” — the destruction of Israel.

“Let me put it to you this way,” he said. “Do you think that militant Islamists will be as hopeful of getting rid of Israel with a Republican president or with a Democrat president?”
President Barack Obama embraces Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at Andrews Air Force Base.
al-Qaeda isn’t the only group working to help Obama’s reelection, according to Limbaugh. In recent months, the host has suggested the Chicago Teachers’ Union strike was a Democratic ploy to help the president, implied the National Hurricane Center falsified early forecasts for Hurricane Isaac to force the GOP to cancel the first day of its convention, and briefly claimed Hollywood had Batman fight Bane in “The Dark Knight Rises” to remind voters of GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s business career. He quickly backed off the latter accusation.

Racist Bar Claims The White House Smells Like Chicken?

Georgia bar owner who famously held up t-shirts depicting Barack Obama as a monkey is once again throwing up another racist attack on the president.

Once again, Mike Norman's controversial restaurant is under fire for bring forth another eye popping attack on the president.

The asshole died in 2011.

So now under the ownership of his daughters, Brandi and Kelly, these assholes continue to make their father proud.

They went forth to put a sign on the Mulligan's Food & Spirits to depict President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama as "chicken eating, watermelon slurping, Kool-Aid drinking, collard green chomping, Colt 45 guzzling niggers" according to the sign!

Now technically, they're not throwing up the offensive slur. But the way they're depicting the "Blacks and the bucket of chicken" stereotype makes it more likely they meant to go further then what the sign said!

Redding News Review and the South Cobb Patch writer Kiri Walton brought it to my attention.

Mulligan's former owner Mike Norman was no stranger to posting controversial signs and even sold T-shirts depicting President Barack Obama, then a presidential candidate, as the monkey, Curious George.

Gerald Rose, founder of the New Order National Human Rights Organization, and other members of the group plan to meet at the restaurant at 11 a.m. to speak with the bar's owner and hold a press conference.

Rose wrote this in an email to Patch and other news outlets:
"As African Americans we UNDERSTAND the meaning of FREEDOM of SPEECH, and we can also SEE when people ABUSE that RIGHT just to show their IGNORANCE! The Mulligan's Restaurant is NOT a STRANGER in DISPLAYING their HATE toward ANYONE that's ou...tside of their own race. So, being the case Gerald E. Rose and New Order will be holding a PRESS CONFERENCE on THIS TUESDAY at 11:00am at the Mulligan's Food & Spirits. As a race we have come TOO FAR to GO BACKWARDS, and instead of REMAINING SILENT our VOICES will be HEARD!"
Racist asshole Mike Norman in 2008 with anti-Obama shirt.
This isn't the first time the bar has posted signs deemed racist by community members. In April 2011, the bar posted a sign that read "W------s R criminals! Hire one and U R too! House Bill 87" referring to controversial House Bill 87, an anti-illegal immigration bill which Gov. Nathan Deal signed into law. Various individuals and members of human rights groups said the law encouraged racial profiling.

Norman, who owned the bar before he died in October 2011, told CBS Atlanta in 2011 that he did not think his sign was racist.

"I am just telling it like it is," Norman said.

However, Jerry Gonzalez, executive director of Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials, said the sign was racist and "the hateful rhetoric" is inappropriate for Georgia.

"It’s racist. It’s pejorative. It’s demeaning. It’s dehumanizing,” said Gonzalez.

Curious George is a famous series of books that tells the adventures of a little monkey and his owner The Man In A Big Yellow Hat. Curious George is also a television series on PBS.

No More Mr. Nice Guy!

The most pathetic candidate running for president still could win this election.

Fuel prices are above $4.00 a gallon once again. Inflation and a bad drought has food prices soaring. The unemployment rate is still over 8%. The conflict in Afghanistan, Israel and the remaining Middle East appears to be on the verge of a diplomatic collapse. A dragging on European financial crisis could impact banks and loans at home. Partisanship has Congress in gridlock, delaying important votes.

Yet, former governor Mitt Romney the perennial candidate for president isn't ahead in the polls. He is struggling. Desperation is in the air and yes, it's there!

Three crucial states, Virginia, Ohio and Florida. These are the states that are swinging back into Barack Obama's corner. The president is enjoying a huge single digit lead in these states. I mean what happen to the Republican nominee?

First things first. Mitt Romney didn't make himself look good on Wednesday when he blasted the president for the U.S. Embassy attacks in Egypt and Libya. Romney got ahead of himself in a crucial test of leadership.

His diplomatic flub adds to the disaster in the United Kingdom in which he criticized the country's handling of the Olympics. The conservative leader of the United Kingdom, Prime Minister David Cameron was kind of weary of his comments.

Romney's Republican National Convention acceptance speech is long forgotten. He failed to mention Afghanistan in his speech and pretty much let another victory slip from his grasp.

His acceptance speech was overshadowed by actor Clint Eastwood and potential 2016 presidential candidate New Jersey governor Chris Christie. Christie admits that it's likely Romney may lose because of his failure to disclose Afghanistan and of course his proposals to fix the economy.

Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick mocked Romney at the Democratic National Convention in which he claimed that Romney only wanted to win so he could taste the position being a president (and of course not do the job that's assigned to him)!

As the commander-and-chief, the president has to not assume anything until the facts are presented and the causes are known.

The Romney Campaign is trying to do damage control after this. While still sticking to his guns on the issue of the economy, Romney is even losing the message on how to fix the economy. President Barack Obama has put forth the message of Mitt Romney being aloof and not concerned about the backbone of the economy, the middle class.

The refusal to release his plans to fix the economy, his tax returns, the talk of his car elevator, the two Cadillacs, the $10,000 bet, and numerous missteps has finally made the message clear. Mitt Romney isn't fit to be the President of the United States.

Now I know a lot of Americans are not satisfied with the economy. The president and U.S. Congress are polling badly when it comes to economy. The public knows that its was George W. Bush's fault for the economic turmoils. They should know that the Republicans are the reason why we're in this mess.

We're in a basic crisis with the Romney Campaign. His supporters and running mate are screwing up as well.

Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) the vice presidential nominee couldn't defend his own voting record when it came to budget cuts that include defense. The defense cuts are something that Mitt Romney opposes as a candidate for president. Ryan distance himself from most of his controversial voting records and his own austerity budget which could undo the safety nets to the economy.

The Drudge Report is trying to find more racially based stories to paint the president bad. They're not working.

Conservatives are upset over Romney's media press pool asking him tough questions about his decision to attack the president. That backfired too! The media press pool is getting tired of Romney ducking and dodging questions that matter to the general public.

Fox News and conservative talk radio is getting fed up with Mitt Romney not taking on the president harder.

Laura Ingraham, Rush Limbaugh, George Will, Peggy Noonan, Ann Coulter, Bill Kristol, and Joe Scarborough have went hard on Mitt Romney. They've all but let him know that he's going to hurt the Republican Party's chances at the presidency and their recapture of the U.S. Senate.

Don't let Romney's slip ups become a distraction. He has a slight advantage in this election. This election isn't over. President Barack Obama is still embattled and he can lose this election.

While Romney's mistakes are taken seriously by those who follow politics to the fullest, the average voter isn't concerned about this. These are ones who don't watch cable news and more likely to worry more about kitchen table issues (i.e. independents) are likely to dismiss this.

Romney leads in the independents.

The president got his groove back, but will this groove get his dispirited supporters back to the polls?

Diplomacy Wasn't Romney's Best Subject!

An American bigot's movie causes a deadly outbreak of violence in the Middle East. Many Muslims feel that the United States has strong intolerance towards Islam. The Libyan government condemns those who killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other members.
This pathetic candidate for president manages to bring forth another poor attempt to look presidential.

The Republican nominee criticized the president for the U.S. Embassy in Egypt trying to smooth over the outrage over an anti-Islamic American movie. The nominee has went out of his way to politicize an event that  was caused by an American bigot and his cheaply done movie trailer. That American bigot sparked outrage in the Middle East by portraying the Prophet Mohammad in a negative light.

Let me repeat this for any online bigot who thinks without knowing! Criticizing Mohammad is blasphemous!

These people are proud of their religion and heritage!

We Americans should respect that! We believe in religious tolerance. Unfortunately, we also believe in religious intolerance as well!

Mitt Romney's attempt to upstage President Barack Obama backfires. Now conservatives are really panicking over this epic flub. Some conservative foreign policy experts think that Romney really screw up this time!
I understand that these bigots are entitled to make horrible statements condemning Islam, but it's just a shame! These people over here in the United States never visited these countries but yet these people have the audacity to criticize those who believe in their religion as a part of their daily lives! I understand the freedom of speech comes with a price. Like shouting fire in the a crowd room, there's consequences to these type of actions.

Mitt Romney's presidential campaign claims President Barack Obama apologized to those who stormed the U.S. Embassy. Romney claims that the president is more interested in making nice with those who killed the four Americans in Libya.

The video.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was ordered to immediately come back to the United States to have a briefing with the president and members of the United States military on how to resolve this problem. The FBI is also investigating if this was the work of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. Reports of an intended plot are emerging. This tragedy falls on the day of the deadly attacks that happened on September 11, 2001.

Christopher Stevens lost his life in a senseless event. These cowards should be brought to swift justice.

Hey I understand that these idiots here in the United States pissed off the Middle East. I can say this with no remorse, that it's typical of the White angry male! They have no respect towards race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, political and economic standings.

If this man was so proud of his movie, why don't he actually reveal his name, and movie production company?

Why not let all the performers go out into the Middle East and say these comments directly to those conservative Islamic followers?

I can tell you this! These cowards would never do it!

It's easier to say something offensive if its behind a camera, computer, a comment section online or in the comfort of the religious institution that promotes this type of divisiveness.

Think of the hundreds of anti-Black websites alone. These arm chair warriors would rather waste their time criticizing us but never themselves or people who associate with them.

For them it's always they're the victim! It's because they've said something offensive and they're taking the fall! While they're taking the fall, they claim that many others would say stuff like this but never have the guts to do it!

Really funny that Mitt Romney rushed to the cameras to condemn the violent act as well as the president. It shows the signs of desperation. Many of his own supporters felt that he may have stepped over his line as a candidate. Lacking foreign policy skills hurts the United States in trade, assistance at times of war, or even in times of borrowing.

Romney criticizes China for taking advantage of the economic food chain. Say that to the face of the president of the Democratic Republic of China, Hu Jintao!

Romney thinks Russia should stay out of the way when the United States plans on building a weapons shield in Poland. That gives it clear distance to the city center of Moscow. You want to say that to President Vladimir Putin!

Romney claims that England wasn't prepared to handle a possible terrorist attack at the Summer Olympics. I guess he learned that the United Kingdom takes all threats seriously and they've maintained assurance that anyone attending London will be safe. The country has taken steps to prevent any massive attack post July 7, 2007.

The United States Embassy released a statement to tone down the uprising:
The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims -- as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.
Romney was criticized by the president as a person who "shoots first and then aim later!" He roundly dismissed the Romney campaign's attempts at politicizing this tragedy for gamesmanship.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama express anger over this. President Barack Obama ordered all U.S. embassies to take extreme caution. The order was given after he called back Clinton for a briefing. The president will order the FBI and U.S. military to investigate this as a potential terrorist plot masquerading as a riot!
His Republican Party members with exception of Reince Priebus and Sarah Palin managed to stay clear of this controversy. They express sadness for those lost and anger at those who committed this act.

Peggy Noonan, a longtime conservative writer was concerned that Romney may have damaged his skills as a diplomatic leader. She thinks that his rush to judgment has doomed his chances come this election.

Bill Kristol, a fierce warmongering conservative publicist made the case to defend Romney for at least showing that he's concerned but also acknowledge that his timing was off.

Many others in the conservative media weren't so nice to Mitt Romney.

Peggy Noonan slams Romney for being aloof on foreign policy.
The Associated Press and Huffington Post report that Romney's rash condemnation of the president, released after it was known that there had been U.S. fatalities, calls to mind Sen. John McCain's snap decision in 2008 to suspend his presidential campaign to deal with the financial crisis. The move was judged deeply unpresidential and contributed to his defeat.

After the Cairo embassy's initial statement, as a mob protest outside the embassy heated up, even entering the compound, and commentators in the U.S. suggested the embassy condemn the protesters, the embassy responded through its Twitter feed: "Of course we condemn breaches of our compound, we’re the ones actually living through this."

The embassy added: "Sorry, but neither breaches of our compound or angry messages will dissuade us from defending freedom of speech AND criticizing bigotry."

The diplomats in Cairo survived the assault on their embassy. When the protests spread to Libya, diplomats there weren't so lucky: Four U.S. State Department officials, including Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens, were killed in an hourslong assault. Romney responded by attacking the diplomats in Cairo.

"The embassy in Cairo put out a statement after their grounds had been breached, protesters were inside the grounds," said Romney at his press conference. "They reiterated that statement after the breach. I think it's a -- a terrible course for America to stand in apology for our values."

Did Romney expect the Cairo diplomats to retract their defense of religious tolerance in the face of the attack? Or did Romney expect the Obama administration to denounce the diplomats who were under siege?

"It's their administration," said Romney, referring to the embassy in Cairo. "Their administration spoke. The president takes responsibility not just for the words that come from his mouth but also from the words of his ambassadors, from his administration, from his embassies, from his State Department. They clearly sent mixed messages to the world. The statement that came from the administration -- and the embassy is the administration -- the statement that came from the administration was a statement which is akin to apology. And I think was a severe miscalculation."

Reporters in Washington have been as quick to condemn Romney as he was to condemn Obama and the embassy officials. "Unless Mitt has gamed crisis out in some manner completely invisible to Gang of 500, doubling down=most craven+ill-advised move of '12," Time's Mark Halperin tweeted, referring to the Beltway establishment.

The United States condemns the actions of those who killed four Americans. The outbreak of violence started by word of mouth. An American movie depicts Islam in a bad light.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama, meanwhile, struck a somber and emotional tone, offering remembrances for the American diplomats who lost their lives in the violence.

In an appearance in the Rose Garden on Wednesday, flanked by Clinton, the president spoke about the events the night before, pledging that the incidents would "not break the bonds between the United States and Libya."

"We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others," Obama said, referencing the anti-Islamic video, "but there is no justification for this kind of violence. None."

Libyan security workers had helped bring other American diplomats to safety during the crisis, Obama noted, and had transported the ambassador to the hospital.

"It is especially tragic that Chris Stevens died in Benghazi because it's a city he helped to save at the height of the Libyan revolution," Obama said.
Libyans try to remove the body of Christopher Stevens, the U.S. ambassador killed by protesters after an American bigot produced a film depicting the Prophet Mohammad in an offensive nature.
Earlier in the morning at the State Department, a shaken Clinton talked about Stevens and the other diplomats who had been killed and strongly denounced the attacks at the outpost in Libya.

"This is an attack that should shock the conscience of people of all faiths around the world," she said. "We condemn in the strongest terms this senseless act of violence."

With her eyes occasionally watering, Clinton spoke at length about Ambassador Stevens, whom she knew well and whom she had personally dispatched to Libya at the beginning to the uprising against Muammar Gaddafi, to be the American attache to the rebel leadership.

"He arrived on a cargo ship in the port of Benghazi and began building our relationship with the Libyan revolutionaries," she said. "He risked his life to stop a tyrant, then gave his life trying to help build a better Libya. The world needs more Chris Stevenses."

Clinton too pledged to maintain America's relationship with Libya, although she conceded that events like those on Tuesday challenged even her certainty.

"Today many Americans are asking -- indeed, I ask myself -- how could this happen," Clinton said. "How could this happen in a country we helped liberate, in a city we helped save from destruction. This question reflects just how complicated, and at times how confounding, the world can be. But we must be clear-eyed even in our grief: This was an attack by a small and savage group, not the people or the government of Libya."
