Hillary Clinton's running mate is Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA). He was the former governor of Virginia and Democratic Party chairman. He was formerly the mayor of Richmond.

"I'm thrilled to share this news: I've chosen Tim Kaine as my running mate," Clinton said to the email. "Tim is a lifelong fighter for progressive causes and one of the most qualified vice presidential candidates in our nation's history."

She added, "I've have the privilege of seeing two presidents and two vice presidents up close. I want a vice president who can be my partner in bringing this country together. I want someone who will be able to give me their best advice, look me in the eye, and tell me they disagree with me when they do," said Clinton.

Clinton's pick will rile up liberals. They were hoping that her pick would be more progressive.

Alas it's not. Many progressives are pissed that Clinton would pick a candidate who is in favor of deregulating the banks.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) was a formidable opponent. He forced Clinton to the left on many issues that the base supports. Kaine isn't 100% progressive. He's about 75% at best on the progressive level.

Sanders said back in May.

"I would hope, if I am not the nominee, that the vice-presidential candidate will not be from Wall Street, will be somebody who has a history of standing up and fighting for working families, taking on the drug companies whose greed is doing so much harm, taking on Wall Street, taking on corporate America, and fighting for a government that works for all of us, not just the 1%."

He will bring his A-game to a campaign that needs some major boost. Clinton's pick will be the attack dog against Donald Trump and his running mate Mike Pence.

Feds Look Into Brutal Arrest Of Texas Schoolteacher!

The Texas Department of Safety is doing an investigation into the Austin Police officer who arrested an elementary school teacher. She was thrown to the ground twice and was detained.

While in the police cruiser, the second officer said that to her  "Blacks have 'violent' tendencies.

As she was being driven to county lockup. She was placed in the back of Patrick Spradlin's vehicle.

She asked him why this country is hard on Black people. He said that Black people can be intimidating.

Austin's police chief Art Acevedo said that the whole ordeal should have been handled without force.

He said that Richter will face some mandatory time without pay, proper retraining and probably a ban from social media contact. Spradlin will face a ban from social media as well.

This is an example of why Blacks have a distrust with those in law enforcement.

Jon Stewart: There Is No Real America! You Don't Own It!

Now that Donald Trump has became the face of the Republican Party, The Late Show's Stephen Colbert invites an old friend back to discuss the nomination.

Matter of fact, he let him take over the show for a moment to address not only Trump, but Roger Ailes, the former CEO of Fox News and his "obsession".

Jon Stewart reminds the audience that the feud between him and Sean "Softball" Hannity isn't over.

He let him have it.

"So let's just say for real, here's where we are. Either [Sean Hannity aka Lumpy] and his friends are lying about being bothered by thin-skinned, authoritarian, less-than-Christian readers-of-prompter-authoritarian-tyrant-narcissist. You just want that person to give you your country back. Because you fell that you're this country's rightful owners. There's only one problem with that. This country isn't yours. You don't own it. It never was. There is no real America. You don't won it. You don't own patriotism. You don't own Christianity. You sure as hell don't own respect for the bravery and sacrifice of military, police, and firefighters."

Jon Stewart told audience to point out bullshit. He mentioned Softball Hannity as an example of it.

"Trust me, I saw a lot of people on the convention floor in Cleveland with their 'blue lives matter' rhetoric, who either remained silent or actively fought against the 9/11 first responders' bill reauthorization. I see you and I see "bullshit".....I see it!"

Stewart called out the annoying conservative agitator for ass kissing Donald Trump. He knocked him for his selective moral outrage over things he's decried about President Barack Obama.

He lastly noted that this brand of conservatism from folks like Sean "Softball Lumpy" Hannity, that creepy internet troll Matt Drudge and old fart Rush Limbaugh.

"So, Lumpy, you and your friends have embraced Donald Trump. Clearly, the "c" next to your names don't stand for "constitutional" or "conservative." But "cravenly". "convenient", "cunts"..."

Matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Softball Hannity responds back.

Leslie Jones: Internet Trolls Wish They Were Me!

Actress Leslie Jones was harassed by some internet troll with a vendetta.

Comedian and actress Leslie Jones who is a featured player on SNL has an opportunity to address the nonsense of the internet. She was hit by this gay conservative jackass who writes for Breitbart.

He and his loyal band of bandwidth warriors trashed her and the movie that she was starring in.

Leslie is the star of the Sony comedy Ghostbusters. The movie is out in theaters and it's a success. It's a female version and it's attracted some controversy. Many die hard fans and conservatives are going nuts about the movie. They are trashing the movie online and singling out Leslie and her castmates for allegedly "ruining" the movie.

Many of the trolls have referred Leslie as an "ape" and one big "ugly woman".

Milo Yiannopoulos is dangerous individual on social media. He is a part of the GamerGate group that advocates spamming and trolling of people they deem liberal.

It did blow the spirit of the actress. Leslie who stands at 6 feet tall. Many of these asshats compared her to the gorilla shot and killed at the Cincinnati Zoo.

It almost drove her from social media. The social media website where all this nonsense came from was Twitter.

Twitter takes all these issues seriously. When Twitter was bombarded with complaints about this asshole, they finally ended his account. Yiannopoulos is banned from Twitter for LIFE.

He and Charles Johnson (of GotNews) are notorious internet trolls.

Leslie got the last laugh. She got an opportunity to address this troll and the support from her fans.

Hackers Share Dem Lawmaker's XXX photos!

Congresswoman got hit by a cyberbully.

I will address the controversy of cyberbullies. I am frustrated with ignorance online. They have created websites devoted to exposing racists and cyberbullies. It's not easy to find a digital footprint, but in the age of Donald Trump, the need for being politically correct should merit accountability for such actions.

Actress Leslie Jones was attacked by some internet troll and his merry band of bigots. He was dismissed from Twitter after this. I was going to address this controversy but this one overshadowed it for the moment.

A Democratic lawmaker who represents a U.S. territory was the focus of a smear campaign. I don't know what happened, but it's a sign of what happens when you share things that should be private through your phone or computer.

Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) is finding herself with an embarassment. Now she is calling upon the U.S. Capitol Police and the FBI's cyber crime unit to find out who leaked a video of Plaskett and her husband taking things a little freaky.

She and her then husband made a sex tape and it got leaked on social media.

Some of the videos that were leaked were really XXX. I mean it was so racy it's practically got her attention.

She added, "Private photographs shared between my husband and me, as well as a private playful video of our family, including one of our children, were illegally obtained and disseminated via the internet".

The video was posted on Facebook before it was quickly deleted. It also showed her husband Jonathan Buckney-Small wearing eyeshadow and lipstick.

Again, I don't care what people do in their bedrooms. I mean this is some real fucked up shit to have a public servant get caught up in a sex scandal. I mean her opponents are likely going to use this against her.

Plaskett who is a nonvoting delegate from the U.S. Virgin Islands, an unincorporated territory in the Caribbean Sea. She won a seat in Congress in 2015. She declared her intentions to run for reelection.

Also in the junk food media, Garry Marshall the famed entertainer and producer of Happy Days and Mork & Mindy, Laverne & Shirley, The Odd Couple and Pretty Woman passed away yesterday. He will sorely be missed. A part of my childhood died along with Saturday Morning Cartoons.

And not to forget the Hawaii Democratic lawmaker who died of cancer. Rep. Mark Takai passed away at the age of 49. He was suffering from pancreatic cancer. He would not finish out his term.

He was a first term congressman.

Donald Trump lays out his message to the nation. In an astonishing 76 minutes, Donald J. Trump, the Republican nominee for president has went there. I mean it was long rant about how Hillary Clinton, President Barack Obama, Muslims, immigrants, those who criticizes law enforcement being the enemy.

I will be blunt, I tuned out after 20 minutes. It was the longest and most unimpressive speech ever.

Trump was still in primary mode. He was hoping to bring the Republicans together. Alas, he didn't.

Someone on the inside allegedly leaked out Trump's acceptance speech tonight. The Hillary Clinton presidential campaign had all the ammunition to take down Trump.

Okay, I won't bore you too much with the details but it's the list of talkers who ended up on the floor before The Donald made his plea for president.

The man behind the most successful cable news channel is officially gone. Roger Ailes was fired out the cannon. As of 4:00pm news went out that the 76 year old political agitator and business mogul was loaded in the cannon and fired out the tent.

For a portion of his contract, he will stay on 21th Century Fox (Fox Television) until 2018.

It was Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly who took the controversial Republican media mogul down. Carlson sued Ailes for sexual harassment and wrongful termination. She managed to get other women to inform the Murdochs about the behind the scene antics of the Fox News network.

Rupert Murdoch and his sons James and Lachlan hired a law firm and did an investigation of all the workers and staff at News Corp. Some of the people working say that Roger was a nasty old guy who had a fixation for blonde women in mini skirts.

Megyn Kelly, then a reporter admitted that Ailes did harass her. It was enough to get Ailes out of Fox News effective immediately.

Ailes who has been a muckraker for most of his life finally got shafted by the Murdoch family.

The scandal comes as turmoil boils between Republicans at their own convention. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) disgraced the stage by not endorsing Donald Trump for president.

Melania Trump stole phrases from First Lady Michelle Obama and the speech was panned.

Mike Pence was extremely boring and his acceptance speech wasn't memorable. Cruz, Rudy Giuliani, David Clarke and Newt Gingrich were the biggest assholes of the night.

He leaves a company that he's ran since its beginnings in 1996.
