A Stefanik In Every Pot!

Hate ages you. The 41 year old New York Republican Elise Stefanik wants the governor seat in Albany.

So instead of being the top Republican recruiter for House members, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) decides to take a risky gamble to run for governor. In better times, had Stefanik returned to the rational Republican moderate she used to be, I would give her a strong shot of upsetting Kathy Hochul.

But I see it as competitive but likely Democrat. New York has not put a Republican in the governor seat since George Pataki. New York hasn't voted for a Republican president since George H.W. Bush. However President Donald J. Trump did pull in 41% of the vote in the 2024 presidential election. It was one of the strongest showings for a continuously failed president.

Gov. Hochul is a two term New York governor who came in after disgraced ex-governor Andrew Cuomo resigned from a sex scandal. Hochul is deeply unpopular due to her stances on Israel, the support for the elites on Wall Street, her refusal to embrace change to the status quo and being a career politician.

Hochul has a primary challenger.

Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado is challenging her.

Stefanik is a career politician who talks from boths sides. Her mouth and her ass. She is ineffective and just downright annoying. She looks a spoiled brat. She looks like Woody Woodpecker's foil Miss Meany.

A spoiled brat who tattle tales on the group when she doesn't get her way.

On friendly networks, Fox, the controversial lawmaker is challenging Hochul and is guns ablazing on New York assemblyman Zohran Mandani, the New York City mayor-elect.

Stefanik's 2½-minute launch video focuses largely on affordability. And while she is a staunch ally of the president, her campaign video does not make any references to the president.

"There's no question: New York is facing an affordability crisis," a narrator says in Stefanik's launch video, which also features commentators calling Hochul the "worst governor in America."

If Kathy Hochul is the worst governor in New York, the I guess Elise Stefanik the worst U.S. Representative in New York?

She is a fucking U.S. lawmaker who can write bills that could make things affordable.

She and Republicans could raise the minimum wage to cost of living standards. Yet, she protects the billionaires, the elite and a sexual predator who is the current President of the United States.

People are going to remember how she is a big government nanny. She was at the forefront of deporting foreign students who participated in the pro Palestinian protests.

She was doing all that theater at prestigious college presidents about antisemitism. She was yelling about how Jewish students are not safe. What about the rest of us?

Gun violence. It killed white nationalist Charlie Kirk.

Sexual assault on college campuses is a real issue.

But let's focus on a few Zionists who are angry over professors and students using their freedom speech to protest a fucking genocide.

She dog whistles the great replacement theory when she wants to attack immigrants and women of color.

She also runs off to Israel to watch the regime kill Palestinians.

Miss Meany for governor.

The video also ties Hochul to Mamdani, a self-described democratic socialist who just had a decisive win earlier this week to become the next mayor of New York City. Hochul endorsed Mamdani in the race and appeared with him on the campaign trail.

"Kathy Hochul made New York the most unaffordable state in the nation, crushing families with sky-high taxes, unaffordable rent, soaring energy costs and record-high grocery bills, and cozied up to an anti-police, tax-hiking, antisemitic communist," a narrator says in the video. The launch video also features clips of Mamdani supporters chanting "tax the rich" as Hochul addressed a recent rally.

"With everything on the line, we need someone who will deliver results and make New York affordable and safe for families and small businesses," a narrator says in the video. "Elise Stefanik will clean up Kathy Hochul's catastrophe and restore New York's greatness."

Stefanik is the first high-profile Republican to launch a campaign and she's been weighing a run for governor for months. She said back in April that she would announce her decision after the 2025 elections, following GOP Rep. Mike Lawler's announcement that he would not run for governor. Trump helped convince Lawler, who represents a competitive district, to stay put in the House, effectively clearing the primary field for Stefanik.

Stefanik had been nominated to be Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations, but Trump withdrew her nomination amid concerns that a competitive special election to replace her in Congress could further shrink the narrow GOP majority.

First elected to Congress in 2014, then the youngest woman elected to the House, Stefanik has risen through the ranks of the GOP leadership, serving as conference chairwoman in the last Congress. She built a national profile as a vocal defender of Trump during his first impeachment in 2019 and has become a prolific fundraiser.

Still, Stefanik will face an uphill battle in the traditionally Democratic state. Trump made significant gains in New York in 2024, improving on his 2020 election margin by 11 points, the largest swing toward Trump of any state in the country. But he still lost New York by 13 points last year.

Hochul is running for her second full term after succeeding Andrew Cuomo in 2021 following his resignation amid sexual harassment allegations, which he has denied. Hochul won her first full term by about 6 points in 2022, defeating two primary challengers in the process.

Back when Stefanik was a rational Republican, folks saw her as a rising star. She hinted running for Senate but like all dreams, the big Republican donors told her to stay in her lane.

Stefanik would have left to be the United Nations Ambassador. Trump pulled her nomination because of some issue that they refuse to discuss.

Marshawn Kneeland Passed Away!

Gone too soon. Mental health in our Black men and women is real.

The issues of mental health, the stress of playing in the National Football Lesgue and the end game.

Taking blows to the body can have a life altering experience in the long run. Many of the retired NFL players experience pain for life after they take off the uniforms.

Some have experience decline in cognitive development.

Marshawn Kneeland has passed away from suicide. He was an American professional football player who was a defensive end for two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Western Michigan Broncos, earning second-team all-conference honors in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) in 2023. He was selected by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft.

Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (Lifeline) at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or 988, or text the Crisis Text Line (text HELLO to 741741). Both services are free and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The deaf and hard of hearing can contact the Lifeline via TTY at 1-800-799-4889. All calls are confidential. Contact social media outlets directly if you are concerned about a friend’s social media updates or dial 911 in an emergency. Learn more on the Lifeline’s website or the Crisis Text Line’s website.

Police in a Dallas suburb say 24-year-old Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland was found dead of an apparent suicide after evading authorities in his vehicle and fleeing the scene of an accident on foot.

Frisco police said Thursday they are investigating the suicide. They said Kneeland didn’t stop for Texas Department of Public Safety troopers over a traffic violation in a chase that was joined by Frisco police on Wednesday night.

Authorities lost sight of the vehicle before locating it crashed minutes later. During the search after Kneeland fled the crash site on foot, officers said they received word that Kneeland might be suicidal.

As authorities were looking for Kneeland, a dispatcher told officers that people who knew him had received a group text from Kneeland “saying goodbye. They’re concerned for his welfare,”

“We’re talking to the girlfriend. She’s trying to call his agent. But we’re trying to get her to call him first. But she’s saying he is armed and has a history of mental illness. And her quote was, ‘He will end it all,’” another dispatcher told officers.

He was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound early Thursday morning, about three hours after the crash, police said without specifying where Kneeland’s body was found. In the recordings from Broadcastify, officers said they had tried to get in contact with Kneeland by calling and texting him and had used a drone to try and locate him after the crash.

His family issued a statement.

“We are devastated by this tremendous loss and are still processing the depth of our grief,” Marshawn’s family, including his siblings AJ Kneeland, Shawn Kneeland and Yahmya Kneeland, wrote in a joint Nov. 6 Facebook statement. “As Marshawn was making his mark on the football field with the Dallas Cowboys, he held an even more special place off the field—as a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, grandson, and friend.”

Of his character, they added, “He was kind, determined, humble, and full of love. His light shone brightly in every life he touched, and his spirit will continue to live on through the countless hearts he inspired.”

“We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support from friends, fans, and the community,” they concluded. “During this difficult time, we ask for privacy as we come together as a family to honor and remember Marshawn’s life and legacy.”

Gun violence is the number one threat in the United States.

The website Officer Down is a memorial to those police officers who were killed in the line of duty. Those victims who don't get their names or accomplishments mentioned in the junk food media. Also the website the National Gun Violence Memorial also keeps record of the many individuals killed by gun violence. We are covering workplace violencereligious facility violencepolice violence and school shootings as well.

The call center to the White House and Congress should still be the same.

The call number to the White House and U.S. Capitol is now going to be used. This is the official White House numbers 202-456-1111 and 202-456-1414. This is the Congress official phone number, 202-224-3121. Please be respectful to operators, staff members and elected leaders. Your calls are monitored by the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Capitol Police.

Let them know that "thoughts and prayers," "hearts going to" and "good guys with guns" are no longer acceptable and you want legislation to curb gun violence. Let them know that we are tired of police officers using immunity when committing death of suspects in custody. You want no more qualified immunity for police officers who use deadly force when it's not justified. Let them know that deporting law abiding immigrants seeking refuge is inhumane. You want the U.S. to improve the immigration process. You want the U.S. lawmakers stop dehumanizing human beings. You want the U.S. to prove to the world its a beacon of freedom. You want our American military out of out of our cities, the Middle East and every fucking international conflict in the world. You want legislation to focus on lowering the cost of rent, lowering the cost of food, lowering the cost of hospital visits, improving healthcare and building relationships with other nations. Let them know that you will not tolerate a government shutdown which affects federal services for Americans in need or in support of services. Let them know that pulling out of the UN Human Rights Organization, World Health Organization and Paris Climate Accords will put the U.S. in danger when catastrophic event happen. Let them know that you are tired of private equity firms getting away with destroying small businesses and long established companies. Let them know that you are tired of your taxpayer money going to foreign nations like Israel and Ukraine. You are tired of hearing about "Israel having a right to..." and the bogus claims of being anti-semitic or in support of terrorism because you support the freedom of Palestinians. You are tired of the propaganda being forced on your media platforms.

We have bigger issues at home and our tax dollars should solve the housing crisis, lowering food prices, fixing roads, bridges, helping reinvest in struggling urban and rural communities. We have hospitals closing, big box retailers leaving communities and television programs dying. There are bigger issues in the country than Israel. You want an immediate ceasefire, a weapons embargo, sanctions and accountability for war crimes done by Israel. You want no more domestic or foreign influence in American elections. You also want to make sure future presidents and lawmakers avoid influence from lobbyists and special interest groups.

Bama Deputy Crashes Her Career!

Bad day.

An Alabama deputy off duty crashes her cruiser after apparently being under the influnce while operating a motor vehicle.

Shamonte Lenfair is on administrative leave and is likely in good position for a cannon firing. She will face a judge this month. Her troubles began in late October when she blew through a light and immediately crashed into a vehicle in Center Point, outside of Birmingham.

She worked for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Lanfair is formally charged with first-degree assault connected to driving under the influence of alcohol, causing serious physical injury. A criminal complaint was filed on Monday, Oct. 27.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said Lanfair was off-duty at the time of the crash. She was initially booked in the Jefferson County Jail Birmingham Division on two counts of first-degree assault on Oct. 24, where she later bonded out. That bond was set at $30,000.

This was some bad work.

The crash happened on Alabama 75 near the 4 mile marker.

ALEA said Lanfair was also injured when the department issued 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe patrol unit she was driving struck a sedan driven by a 22-year-old Birmingham woman.

The other vehicle driven by 22-year-old Kayla Williams and passenger 15-year-old brother Nicholas Williams were injured seriously.

After the initial impact, ALEA said the sedan then struck a second sedan driven by a 30-year-old Center Point woman.

Lanfair was taken to UAB St. Vincent's East Hospital for medical treatment.

Moving from Illinois to Alabama to start a life as law enforcement. All of it ruined because of mental health and alcohol abuse.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

If convicted, she could lose her license for five years. She will lose her certification as a law enforcement officer in Alabama, face up to five years in the iron college.

She will be required to pay for damages to those injured. She will likely be sued by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for property damage.

A lot of career ending things for her.

Greene Pastures!

Worked up. Marjorie Taylor Greene escalating feud with Mike Johnson and Donald J. Trump.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is an insufferable lawmaker. She is ineffective, bombastic, sadistic, bigoted, conspiracy peddling.... well Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) said it best:

"Bleach Blonde, Bad Built, Butch Body"

That remark made Greene upset. Since that confrontation, Greene has tried to improve her looks. With the support of Real America's Voice personality and boyfriend Brian Glenn, the controversial lawmaker has tried to girly her image.

While I do not endorse her or what she stands for, I am in agreement with Greene on a few things.

President Donald J. Trump is not fulfilling his America First agenda.

He refuses to release the Jeffrey Epstein client list.

The United States is giving billions to Ukraine and Israel in their endless wars.

Israel is committing a genocide, a famine, global unrest, a censorship campaign, election interference and destruction to the United States.

Greene might be right on those Jewish Space Lazers. The apartheid ethnostate has an Iron Beam which can shoot a partical beam on targets. Israel has used AI to target people in Gaza. The Mossad has used deadly terrorist tactics like the exploding pagers and cell phones in Lebanon.

Greene was earlier a feverant supporter of Israel.

She has "evolved" from the AIPAC script.

Greene used to be on friendly networks to promote her vicious behavior. Now she is appearing on networks she once called hostile towards her.

Real Time with Bill Maher, The View, CNN, NewsNation, MSNBC and The Breakfast Club.

What the hell is going on with Margie?

She is acting like a rational Republican for once. I am almost in shock.

The new MTG is a target of the Trump Administration. His allies are calling for a serious primary challenger to defeat her. Mark Levin is not tolerating her any longer.

In his previous rant at the Republican Jewish Coalition, Levin called Greene a "traitor" and a raging supporter of "Islamist Marxist jihadists in the Democrat Party."

Greene has clashed with House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) over the government shutdown. She believes the deliberate punishing of the American people because of politics is so status quo.

The status quo is keeping Republican and Democrats stalled in passing a yearly budget.

On Monday, the United States will surpassed the longest days of a government shutdown.

Greene said that the subsidies of the Affordable Care Act expiring could raise insurance premiums. She also has frustration with the Republicans attempting to stop SNAP benefits.

Trump was ordered by a federal judge to release emergency funds to fund SNAP benefits.

Greene is also angry at the president for continuing support for Israel. The rogue state is banning her and a several House members from entry.

The Mosad is planning on releasing damaging things about Greene and her personal life. She had an open relationship with her ex-husband Perry Greene.

She allegedly cheated on him with bodybuilders and contractors who were investing in her gyms.

Trump Being Trump: Man Passes Out! Trump Annoyed!

What the Trump?

A business executive had a medical emergency in the White House and of course, President Donald J. Trump was being Trump.

Dr, Mehmet Oz and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. panicked when the executive passed out.

Trump stood there.

During the conference, which was being broadcast on Fox News and livestreamed on multiple platforms, an individual stumbled forward and subsequently fell to the ground as Dave Lilly, the CEO of pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly, began to speak about the new price reductions in weight loss drugs.

The man, who has yet to be identified, took a heavy step forward, prompting Lilly to pause his remarks and ask, "You okay? Gordon, you okay?"

The men on each side of the individual both grabbed onto his arms in order to support him, and as he continued to move toward the ground, Dr. Mehmet Oz rushed toward him to help lower him to the ground.

White House personnel then cleared the press from the Oval Office, prompting the livestream coverage to abruptly end.

Minutes later, coverage resumed, and President Trump provided an update on the man's status.

Trump just looks so tired and annoyed.

"One of the representatives of one of the companies got a little bit lightheaded," Trump said. "You saw, he went down. And he's fine. They just sent him out. He's got doctor's care. But he's fine. So we had a little bit of an interruption. Sorry for that."

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also addressed the incident in a statement. "During the Most Favored Nations Oval Office Announcement, a representative with one of the companies fainted," Leavitt said. "The White House Medical Unit quickly jumped into action, and the gentleman is okay."

The identity of the man who collapsed is not immediately clear. A representative for Lilly addressed the incident in a statement to Entertainment Weekly.

"Today at the White House press conference, one of the guests became overwhelmed by the events of the day and had a brief medical situation," the spokesperson said. "He is receiving the best medical care."

Dr. Mehmet Oz panicked but rushed to aiding the man.

A representative from Novo Nordisk, the Ozempic-manufacturing company that was also present at the press conference, tells Entertainment Weekly the fainting man was not Novo Nordisk employee Gordon Findlay, whom the company said was not present at the event, despite incorrect reports that Findlay was the man in question. CEO Mike Doustdar and EVP of US Operations Dave Moore — the two men who helped the fainting man as he fell — were the only two representatives from the company present at the event.

The incident occurred during a conference announcing that the cost of Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound will be reduced for Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Nancy Pelosi Out!

We gonna miss her. Nancy Pelosi stood up to Bush, Trump and Biden, but not Israel. Still, a historical woman to be Speaker of the House.

Finally, the old guard is starting to understand we are not playing games anymore.

The first woman to serve as U.S. House Speaker to four U.S. presidents is retiring.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi of California, a staunch Zionist, middle of the road, feminist and Democratic leader has decided it is time to pass the baton to a next generation of Democrats.

Pelosi announced she was deciding on whether to carry on or retire. Had she carried on, she faced an onslaught of Democratic opponents this time. President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Gov. Gavin Newsom, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), House and Senate members will react to her retiring.

Pelosi, 85, was the nation’s first and only female House speaker, and she will have represented San Francisco in Congress for 39 years when she leaves office. She has served during an era of seismic change for American society and her own city, from the throes of the AIDS crisis to the legalization of gay marriage, and through the meteoric rise of the tech sector and the nation’s extreme polarization.

She entered political office later in life and became a hero to Democrats for the way she wielded immense power to push Obamacare, climate change legislation and infrastructure programs through Congress.

“With a grateful heart, I look forward to my final year of service as your proud representative,” she told her constituents in a nearly six-minute video posted on X early Thursday morning, with clips of San Francisco’s iconic cable cars and colorful Victorian homes flashing in the background.

“My message to the city I love is this: San Francisco, know your power,” she continued. “We have always led the way, and now we must continue to do so by remaining full participants in our democracy and fighting for the American ideals we hold dear.”

Pelosi, who likes to use the phrase “resting is rusting,” led the House Democrats for 20 years, eight of which she spent as speaker. She has also been a prodigious fund-raiser and raised more than $1.3 billion for Democratic campaigns, according to her aides.

But she was reviled by conservatives, who painted her as the scary embodiment of liberal San Francisco values and blamed her for what they considered the nation’s decline.

Nearly 40 years of service and Speaker to four U.S. presidents, Nancy Pelosi is one of a kind.

She has been a chief irritant to Trump, even to this day, calling him “a vile creature” in a CNN interview that aired this week. She presided over two of his impeachment votes in the House. And he has called her “Crazy Nancy,” with no sense of fondness for his foe.

Pelosi began her term as House Speaker when Republicans lost control of the House in 2007. She was a thorn to then president George W. Bush. She never came close to impeaching him despite his chaotic failures. The far right immediately vilified her, San Francisco and California. During the presidency of Barack Obama, the Tea Party began. Pelosi labeled it a bunch of astroturf, smoke and mirrors. It led to the House being flipped in 2011. She returned back to Speaker position in 2019 when Trump served his first term. He was publicly shouting and disrespecting her on camera. It came to head when she twice introduced Articles of Impeachment against him. The first time was the infamous attempt to pressure Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy to introduce criminal charges against Joe Biden. The second time was the Jan. 6 insurrection in which his protesters were attempting to destroy the electoral college and harm Pelosi and then vice president Mike Pence.

Pelosi's husband Paul became a victim of a near fatal attack. A Canadian American man broke into the home and used a claw hammer to bledgon Paul in the head. He was arrested and sentenced to LIFE in federal time out. The far right, Donald Trump, Jr. and the president (then ex-president) mocked the incident believing it was some gay love affair.

DeAnne Lorraine, Laura Loomer and even Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) have confronted Pelosi on her home property with conspiracy theories.

Protesters have called her out for supporting Israel.

CodePink had called her out and she flatly dismissed them as paid protesters from China.

Her ties to Wall Street were also controversial.

Allegedly she and a handful of House members are doing insider trading before the 2008 and 2020 stock market falls.

Dems Need To Get In Line Or Be Left Behind!

Issues over noise.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) warns President Donald J. Trump and Democrats who refused to endorse or vote for New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani.

Continue the status quo and face the wrath of voters.

“I think what this night is starting and shaping up to represent is that Americans everywhere are not going to be scared,” she said. “We will not be intimidated by an administration that is violating the rights and making life hard and unaffordable for every single American in this country, and we will send in a wave of Democrats that not bow to this administration, but stand up to this administration and doing so in the interest of working families, in the interest to make life affordable, housing affordable and to stand for the civil rights of all.”

"[Mandani] had to not just defeat a Republican, he had to defeat a Republican and the old guard of the Democratic Party at the same time. He was fighting a war on two fronts and not just one, and he still won resoundingly."

White Democrats are starting to show their asses out. It is frustrating that we are at the crossroads where most Americans are frustrated with status quo politics.

Ocasio-Cortez said that Democrats are going to move forward and the "old gaurd" better get in line or be left behind.

The election victory of Mamdani brought out the worst reactions from the so called Democrats who backed Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris.

Republicans and folks like 50 Cent are just normal assholes in life.

The most frustrating thing about it is the fact they are tone deaf.

Washed up actors Debra Messing and Michael Rappaport have become MAGA. They are literally embarrassing themselves with the open bigotry and Islamophobia. Their free speech is showing decline.

If the Democrats are motivated to talk about how the policies of the past are not working, they better start talking now.

Capitalism isn't prospering for the middle class or the lower class. This trickle down economics is not benefiting the working class. The need to be honest about capitalism being a disaster has to be addressed. Because right now Americans who are furloughed, laid off or terminated from employers are going to food banks and resorting to theft of food.

The Democratic Party is still supportive of capitalism which is rooted in white supremacy, economic inequality and greed.

The policies the Republican Party are presenting are status quo. They are becoming the big government nannies they tagged the Democratic Party for years as.

Socialism, once a toxic word and a tag on almost every Democratic politician should no longer be a slur. It is time for Americans to understand that the oligarchy that led to wealth inequality is a product of capitalism. We need to equate capitalism to the rise in food prices, health costs, insurance premiums increasing and private equity firms destroying companies.

Israel, Israel, Israel..... When the party support for Israel is a mere 8%, why is the Democratic Party still trying to encourage their voters to support this country?

They're on their knees giving in to Israel and its minions.

As Israel continues to commit a genocide under the guise of a ceasefire, some Democrats and the influncers are calling out the progressive base for moving on from Gaza.

I haven't moved on from Israel. I am laser focused on ensuring Israel will fall. I am seeing the endless attacks on Zohran Mamdani, Graham Platner, Cori Bush, Katie Porter and even former vice president Kamala Harris.

Cincinnati Keeps Aftab Pureval! Dayton Ousts Jeff Mims!

Progressive challenger defeats centrist. Dayton, Ohio picks Shenise Turner-Sloss over incumbent Jeff Mims.

Democrats prevail in New York City, Virginia, New Jersey, California, Georgia and even in Ohio. The civil war between the progressive and centrist wing of the Democratic Party is an ongoing issue.

Progressives are mounting an aggressive campaign to purge the Democratic Party of ineffective, corporatist, conservative and Zionist Democrats. The 2026 Midterms will be a test of how far the progressive base will go to push the party back to the movement they claimed to backed so many years prior.

Aftab Pureval, mayor of Cincinnati defeats the half-brother of Vice President JD Vance, Cory Bowman.

Jeffrey Mims, Jr., mayor of Dayton is defeated by Shenise Turner-Sloss, a progressive Dayton commissioner.

Cincinnati, Ohio has a population of 315,000 residents. It has increased slightly these past decades. At one time, Cincinnati was on the decline but a major turnaround and unfortunately gentrification led to its rebound.

Dayton, Ohio has a population of 132,000 residents. It has significantly decreased these past decades. At one time, Dayton was a booming industrial community. All of its major corporations have moved out, crime has increased and blight has dominated the city.

Pureval, the first Indian-American to be mayor of the city faced off against James David Bowman's (Vance) brother, Cory.

This race wasn't as big as the race between mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani and former New York governor Andrew Cuomo but it was closely watched.

Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance live in the neighborhood of East Walnut Hills.

Bowman was hoping to cash in on his half-brother and President Donald J. Trump's honeymoon period. At one time, Trump had a job approval of 47%. This was the highest job approval (despite being underwater) for the president.

Issues that drove voters out should be the most important.

1. The government shutdown.

2. Economic uncertainty.

3. Affordability.

4. Israel.

5. Political violence.

6. President Donald J. Trump being tone deaf.

Bowman was running on divisive issues like crime, taxes, gang violence, graffiti and business owners leaving Cincinnati. He even went as far to use Rodney Hinton, Jr. and the racist couple being knocked out during a riot near Over the Rhine.

Cory Bowman was banking on his high profile brother. He was washed by Aftab Pureval.

Hinton, a distraught Cincinnati father intentionally rammed his vehicle into a Hamilton County sheriff deputy constable directing traffic hours after he watched the video of a Cincinnati Police officer shoot his son after he fled a stolen vehicle. Ryan Hinton was inside a stolen Kia and was apparently armed. As Hinton fled his vehicle, the officer spotted a firearm and immediately shot him. The officer was cleared of the shooting.

Hinton blamed the Cincinnati Police and the systematic racism. He took an eye for an eye. He is facing capital murder. He is currently in Clermont County lockup on suicide watch. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Teresa Theetge, the embattled Cincinnati Police chief was placed on leave after the city deemed her ineffective in solving the problems. Cincinnati also launched a drone campaign with Skydio. That company worked with Israel in the aftermath of the resistance of October 7th.

Cincinnati has a growth rebound which helped Pureval succeed in trouncing Bowman.

It was a landslide in a nonpartisan race. Pureval beaten Bowman 82% to 18%.

Cincinnati's Police Union supported Bowman and voted no confidence to Pureval.

Mims on the other hand lost.

Jeff Mims was tone deaf to Dayton. They voted him out.

Mayor-elect Turner-Sloss ran on ending gridlock and investing in Dayton. She often feuded with Mims on spending and policies. The mayor-elect was supportive of a hospital being built in the West Dayton area after the devastating loss of Good Samaritan Hospital in 2018. That happened in Trump’s first term.

Mims couldn't control the gun violence. His traffic calming measures also were a bad idea.

Mims lost to Turner-Sloss by 48% to 52%.

Turner-Sloss campaigned for reform of police response to mental health calls and investing in the neighborhoods around downtown, as well as putting money into the downtown engine. She also wants to promote better reception to the community’s calls for help.

Mims is now Dayton’s second mayor since 1992 to go for one term.

The Montgomery County Board of Elections says some absentee and provisional ballots still need to be counted, meaning the race won’t be certified immediately.

Gary Litezell, the former mayor of Dayton was the most recent one term before Mims.

Litezell defeated two term mayor Rhine McLin on the very same platforms that Mims championed. He ran as an independent but was endorsed by Republicans since they had no formal challenger.

Litezell was defeated by Democrat Nan Whaley who went on to serve two terms before she became a sacrificial goat in the 2022 Ohio gubernatorial race. Whaley lost to her former friend the incumbent governor Mike DeWine.

Government Shutdown: Deadly Airplane Crash In Louisville!

A deadly UPS Freightliner crashed in Louisville. It was leaving Louisville Muhammed Ali International Airport for Honolulu when it crashed shortly after takeoff. It is a deadly airplane crash in a government shutdown.

Oh let's ask Charlie Kirk if the pilot or crew were DEI hires?

Nevermind.

President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Gov. Andy Beshear, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and the Kentucky House members were notified.

Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy, NTSB and other federal agencies will react to it.

Some of them will not be paid for this.

Y'all voted for this.

The latest plane crash in 2025. Since January, there have been so many of these planes falling out the sky. That is a major problem and it seems like Trump isn't interested in it.

At least seven people are dead after a UPS cargo plane crashed Tuesday while taking off from the Louisville airport, leaving a trail of flames just miles from the city’s downtown.

The plane crashed at about 5:15 p.m. after its left wing caught fire. The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 aircraft, made in 1991, was departing for Honolulu from UPS Worldport at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said 11 others had “very significant” injuries.

The victims have not been identified publicly. Four of those killed were not aboard the plane, said Louisville Fire Department Chief Brian O’Neill.

Here’s what is known about the deadly crash.

This is what a government shutdown does to a state!

A trail of destruction

Video showed flames on the plane’s left wing and a trail of smoke. The plane then lifted slightly off the ground before crashing and exploding in a massive fireball. Residents who pulled out their phones upon hearing loud booms captured several balls of flames exploding into the sky in a row. Video also revealed portions of a building’s shredded roof next to the end of the runway.

O’Neill said the fire spanned “almost an entire city block.”

The Louisville airport shut down after the crash and wasn’t expected to resume operations until Wednesday morning.

UPS responds

Louisville is home to UPS’s largest package handling facility. The hub employs thousands of workers, has 300 daily flights and sorts more than 400,000 packages an hour.

UPS acknowledged the crash in a brief statement and said the National Transportation Safety Board would handle the investigation. The company said it was halting package sorting operations Tuesday night at the Louisville facility and did not indicate when operations would resume.

There was no hazardous cargo on board, officials said.

Aviation expert reacts

Pablo Rojas, an aviation attorney, said based on the videos it appears the aircraft was struggling to gain altitude as a fire blazes on its left side around one of its engines. Given the large amount of fuel the aircraft was carrying, once the fire started in that area, it would’ve been only a matter of time before there was an explosion or the fire grew considerably.

“There’s very little to contain the flames and really the plane itself is almost acting like a bomb because of the amount of fuel,” he said.

It’s difficult to know whether the pilot noticed the flames from inside the aircraft, he said. Even if the pilot had realized there was a problem as they were about to take off, Rojas said stopping at that point may have been the more dangerous option.

When Republicans say they don't want to give things for free.... I am going to say that death is free and they are pushing buttons. These folks will drive chaos to protect the status quo.

You want our American military out of our cities, the Middle East and every fucking international conflict in the world.

Hold And Flip!

Best friends forever. Mikie Sherrill and Abigail Spanberger won their gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia. Democrats rebound.

Democrats secure Virginia and hold New Jersey.

Former congresswoman Abigail Spanberger and Rep. Mikie Shirrell (D-NJ) are governor-elects. The two best friends won over President Donald J. Trump's endorsed nominees.

Issues that drove voters out should be the most important.

1. The government shutdown.

2. Economic uncertainty.

3. Affordability.

4. Israel.

5. Political violence.

6. President Donald J. Trump being tone deaf.

Spanberger, who served as a U.S. Representative since 2017 until her resignation in 2025 will become the first woman to be governor of the state. In Virginia, a governor serves only one term. Any former governor can run for governor again only after an incumbent governor serves four years.

Spanberger first came onto the political scene in 2018 when she ousted former Republican Rep. Dave Brat in the state’s 7th Congressional District. She served in Congress, where she had a history of working with Republicans, from 2019 to the beginning of 2025.
Winsome Earle-Sears tried the MAGA way and it failed.

Spanberger’s gubernatorial campaign kicked off two years ago, and while there was speculation Rep. Bobby Scott (D-VA) was considering a run as well, the former congresswoman went unchallenged in the primary.

Her campaign was defined by its highly disciplined nature, with Spanberger staying focused on her affordability message and defending Virginia from the impacts of President Trump’s cuts to the federal workforce.

Winsome Earle-Sears, the outgoing Virginia lieutenant governor hoped that culture wars and her Blackness would win over voters frustrated with Democrats not doing enough.

The government shutdown affected Virginians.

Jack Ciattarelli and Trump. He tried the governor thing three times. He is done.

Sherrill, a fourth-term congresswoman representing a district in northern New Jersey, fended off a competitive challenge from Ciattarelli, who ran for governor for a third time after narrowly losing to New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) in 2021. Murphy is term-limited and couldn’t run again.

Jack Ciattarelli will now be labeled a perennial candidate. A three times defeat makes him toxic if he runs for any other office. Mind you Mitt Romney came back from politicial death to be a Utah senator after running for president twice, running for Massachusetts senator and serving one term as governor of that state. We haven't heard the last of Ciattarelli.

The economic uncertainty affected New Jersians.

The president was mostly hands off when it came to campaigning for Ciattarelli and Earle-Sears.

Trump reacted to the defeat in his tone deaf fashion.

He basically stated he it's not his fault for Republicans losing. Matter of fact, he doubles down.

Zohran Mamdani’s defeat of Andrew Cuomo lands another Trump backed candidate defeat.

Trump has a job approval of 35% and his unfavorably is 64%. That means 1% don't have seem to care about him.

Mamdani In A New York State Of Mind!

Ignoring the noise wins elections. Affordability and ending the status quo is a winning strategy.

Mayor-elect, Democratic New York assemblyman Zohran Mandani defeats Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Silwa in the country's most watched election race.

Issues that drove voters out should be the most important.

1. The government shutdown.

2. Economic uncertainty.

3. Affordability.

4. Israel.

5. Political violence.

6. President Donald J. Trump being tone deaf.

Mandani will be the first Indian-American, first Ugandan-American, second mayoral winner elected under 40 years old and first Muslim to be the mayor of the United States most largest city.

Cuomo, a former three term Democratic New York governor who resigned in scandal was hoping for a politicial comeback. He was defeated in the Democratic primaries. Angered by the loss, Cuomo ran as an independent. He won support from President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Elon Musk, the Israelis, incumbent mayor Eric Adams, several Democratic lawmakers and likely Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

Mamdani has won New York City’s mayoral race, NBC News projects, after the 34-year-old democratic socialist energized progressives in the city and across the country, while generating intense backlash from President Donald J. Trump and Republicans as well as some Democratic moderates.

Mamdani, the Democratic nominee, on Tuesday handily defeated former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo — who ran as a third-party candidate after losing the Democratic primary — and Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa. New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who mounted a third-party campaign for re-election after winning as a Democrat in 2021, dropped out of the race in September and endorsed Cuomo last month.

The victory caps a meteoric rise through New York politics for Mamdani since he launched his campaign roughly one year ago, transforming him from a virtually unknown state assemblyman who barely registered in polling to the incoming leader of America’s largest city.
Bark, bark, bark. Zohran Mamdani's affordability message drowned out the noise from Curtis Silwa and Andrew Cuomo.

Along the way, he pushed aside the heir to one of New York’s most iconic political dynasties not once but twice within five months.

Now a nationally known political figure, Mamdani will attempt to enact the sweeping policy platform that inspired his supporters while managing an enormous municipal bureaucracy — and influencing national politics, as one of the most prominent democratic socialists and Democrats in the country. Among other items, Mamdani wants to freeze rent on rent-stabilized units, enact universal childcare, create a free bus program and launch city-run grocery stores.

He will face opposition from New York state Republicans and ward leaders. He will also earn the wrath of Trump and Israeli regime leader Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“It is tempting to believe that this moment was always destined,” Mamdani said before thousands at a rally in Queens late last month, before noting that when he started his campaign, “there was not a single television camera there to cover it.”

“Four months later and as recently as this February, our support had reached eye-watering heights of 1%,” Mamdani continued. “We were tied with noted candidate ‘someone else.’”

Mamdani’s victory is sure to reverberate not just throughout New York City but around the nation.

In New York, Mamdani’s next challenge will be the tall task of uniting leaders in Albany and on the city council — many of whom were not eager to line up behind him — to advance his ambitious agenda.

Nationally, many Democrats will examine his rise from obscurity, his success messaging on social media and his focus on affordability for clues about how to navigate their own races.
The status quo is over. Time to change direction.

Meanwhile, Republicans are eager to turn Mamdani’s left-wing platform into a wedge issue in competitive races far beyond New York City’s borders.

The closing weeks of the race turned into a brawl between Mamdani and Cuomo, the onetime front-runner who spent the general election trying to play catch-up. The two had heated debates in recent weeks, with Cuomo calling Mamdani a “divisive force in New York” while Mamdani painted Cuomo as Trump’s “puppet.”

The president made a late jump into the race Monday night, endorsing Cuomo on social media and saying that a vote for Sliwa, the Republican nominee, was essentially a vote for Mamdani in the split general election field.

Late last month, Mamdani delivered an emotional address condemning what he slammed as “racist, baseless” attacks he’s faced for his Muslim faith. Mamdani will be the first Muslim mayor in New York City history. His unapologetically pro-Palestinian stance energized progressives who oppose Israel’s war in Gaza, as pro-Israel Democrats and donors grew anxious about his rise.

Change course or face electoral losses.

At a rally alongside Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), days later, Mamdani said Cuomo, Adams and Sliwa only possess “the playbook of the past.”

“They have sought to make this election a referendum not on the affordability crisis that consumes New Yorkers’ lives,” he said, “but on the faith I belong to and the hatred they seem to normalize.”

Diane Ladd Passed Away!

Diane Ladd passed away of natural causes.

The sitcom Alice and the film Alice Don't Live Here Anymore. It was a very popular franchise at the time. It talked about a widowed woman and her son traveling to Arizona in search of a new path. It ends in a rundown diner with a zany bunch of patrons, waitresses and a grumpy cook who owned the place.

Linda Lavin, a singer, actress and director who passed away in late 2024 was the lead of the sitcom Alice. Polly Holliday who played Flo has passed away this year.

Diane Ladd who played Flo in the film and Belle Dupree in the sitcom. As a character actress, Ladd had a major impact in the entertainment industry.

She has passed away.

Diane Ladd, a three-time Academy Award nominee and actor of rare timing and intensity whose roles ranged from the brash waitress in “Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore” to the scheming parent in “Wild at Heart,” has died at 89.

Ladd’s death was announced Monday by daughter Laura Dern, who issued a statement saying her mother and occasional co-star had died at her home in Ojai, California, with Dern at her side. Dern, who called Ladd her “amazing hero” and “profound gift of a mother,′ did not immediately cite a cause of death.

“She was the greatest daughter, mother, grandmother, actress, artist and empathetic spirit that only dreams could have seemingly created,” Dern wrote. “We were blessed to have her. She is flying with her angels now.”

A gifted comic and dramatic performer, Ladd had a long career in television and on stage before breaking through as a film performer in Martin Scorsese’s 1974 release “Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore.” She earned an Oscar nomination for supporting actor for her turn as the acerbic, straight-talking Flo, and went on to appears in dozens of movies over the following decades. Her many credits included “Chinatown,” “Primary Colors” and two other movies for which she received best supporting nods, “Wild at Heart” and “Rambling Rose,” both of which co-starred her daughter. She also continued to work in television, with appearances in “ER,” “Touched by Angel” and “Alice,” the spinoff from “Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore,” among others.

Through marriage and blood relations, Ladd was tied to the arts. Tennessee Williams was a second cousin and first husband Bruce Dern, Laura’s father, was himself an Academy Award nominee. Ladd and Laura Dern achieved the rare feat of mother-and-daughter nominees for their work in “Rambling Rose” and they also were memorably paired in “Wild at Heart,” a personal favorite of Ladd’s and winner of the Palme d’Or at the 1990 Cannes Film Festival. In the dark, farcical David Lynch noir, her character, Marietta, is willing to try anything — including murder — to keep her daughter (Laura Dern) away from her ex-con lover, played by Nicolas Cage. Ladd would be called upon by the director for some Lynchian touches, and countered with some of her own.

Love my mom. Laura Dern always saw her mom as an inspiration.

“One day, the script said that Marietta gets in bed, curls up with her baby dog, and is sucking her thumb,” she told Vulture in 2024. “I looked at him and said, ‘David, I don’t want to do that.” He said, ’What do you want to do? I said, ‘I want to put on a long satin nightgown, I want to stand in the middle of the bed holding a martini and drinking it, and I want to sway to the old music within my head.’ He said OK, I did it, and he loved it.”

A native of Laurel, Mississippi, Ladd was born Rose Diane Ladner and was apparently destined to stand out. In her 2006 memoir, “Spiraling Through the School of Life,” she remembered being told by her great-grandmother that she would one day in “front of a screen” and would “command” her own audiences. Before “Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore,” she had been working in television since the 1950s, when she was in her early 20s, with shows including “Perry Mason,” “Gunsmoke” and “The Big Valley.”

By the mid-1970s, she had lived out her fate well enough to tell The New York Times that no longer denied herself the right to call herself great.

“Now I don’t say that,” she said. “I can do Shakespeare, Ibsen, English accents, Irish accents, no accent, stand on my head, tap dance, sing, look 17 or look 70.”

Ladd was married three times, and divorced twice — from Bruce Dern and from William A. Shea, Jr. In 1976, around the time her second marriage ended, she told the Times that neither of her husbands knew “how to show love.”

“I come from the South and from a man, my father, who gave me rocking‐chair love. My people pass love around, and why I selected two men who needed someone to give love and didn’t know how to give it. ...” She paused. “I hope I won’t repeat that again.”

Ladd’s third marriage, to author-former PepsiCo executive Robert Charles Hunter, lasted from 1999 until his death in August.
