We are in a fucking coronavirus pandemic. We have civil unrest from coast to coast. We have natural disasters getting worse. We have an economic crisis in the country. All this while we're only less than a few months from Election Day.

Black people are getting fed up with this.

We protest.

We call for justice.

We call for peace.

We call for change in the way police handle situations.

We say we all want to go home.

We register to vote.

And nothing ever changes. It's getting to a point where now, if more Black men and women are killed by police, there's going to be someone who harbors hatred towards law enforcement plotting to assassinate police officers at their weakest points.

It touches the nation's politicians, entertainers, athletes, social media activists and families of the victims. We see these incidents over and over again. Never in my life, have I seen this much brutality from police towards people of color.

You are reminded that if you're the passenger of the vehicle, you do not have to give out any information to any law enforcement officer unless they spotted a criminal act in progress.

A white Georgia sheriff's deputy seen in a viral video repeatedly punching an unarmed Black man who was pinned to the ground was fired out the cannon. The county is considering filing charges against him.

The person who was pinned to the ground was named 26-year old, Roderick Walker. He is currently in Clayton County, Georgia lockup, two days after he was seen in the video being pummeled on.

He said, "I can't breathe."

It was shocking to hear the man's son scream for his "daddy."

The incident happened on Friday evening in front of a Georgia Department of Public Health Building near the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. An attorney for Walker said the incident quickly escalated after a ride-share vehicle Walker was a passenger in was pulled over for routine traffic violation.

Walker's injuries are brutal.

On Sunday afternoon, officials announced in a statement that "the Deputy who repeatedly struck Roderick Walker is being terminated from the Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill for excessive use of force," The deputy's name was not immediately released.

A criminal investigation of the incident will be turned over to the Clayton County District Attorney's Office, the statement reads.

Walker is still in custody due to charges that include cruelty to children, having a firearm while being a convicted felon and failure to appear in court. The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Walker received medical treatment for injuries. He had fractures to his head, swelling around his eye and bad bruising on the side of his face.

His lawyers slam the decision to talk about Walker's arrest record as a way to deflect from the bad cop's attack.

"Roderick Walker is in jail solely because he was illegally arrested after being assaulted by Clayton County Sheriff deputies, not because of anything he did during that incident or in the past," said Shean Williams, the attorney representing Walker. "Mr. Walker would not be in jail if it were for this unlawful arrest that violated his legal and constitutional rights."

"Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill's statement is just a weak attempt to deflect from his lack of leadership and continuous encouragement that his deputies violate peoples' civil rights, Williams added. "The only individuals who perpetrated criminal behavior were the deputies who unlawfully assaulted and arrested him."

What happened?





Well it was routine pull over for a broken tail light. Walker's girlfriend Janita Davis and their son were at a rental car place. They dropped off a vehicle and placed a Lyft ride for themselves.

Well when they were riding in the Lyft, an unmarked patrol vehicle pulled them over. During the stop, a deputy asked all the occupants for identification. Walker refused to give information.

Walker said he didn't have identification on him and said he didn't have to provide seeing he's not the driver and he was not committing any criminal act.

The situation escalated and soon they pulled him out the vehicle and tried to detain him which led to the altercation and later arrest. It was caught on cellphone video and went viral.

This happened in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Another incident where a cop shoots dead a man after he saw the suspect with a knife towards his head.

This happened on Sunday.

Police posted the officer's body camera video on social media showing 27-year old Ricardo Munoz, chasing the officer down a sidewalk with a knife. The officer fired several shots while running away.

Didn't bother picking up a Taser or using pepper spray.

As the cop retreated, he emptied his firearm.

The cop was placed in the freezer pending an investigation into whether force was justified.

Hundreds took to the streets of Lancaster following the shooting, a crowd forming outside the police station. The department said that multiple vehicles and government vehicles were damaged.

The Lancaster District Attorney Heather Adams called for calm and said that a thorough investigation into the matter will happen.

"We ask the acts of protest remain peaceful as violence and destruction of property will become headlines and serve no purpose for the safety and wellbeing of our citizens and neighborhoods," she said.

According to the family, they said Munoz was mentally ill and was not on his medication.

The law responded to a "domestic dispute" at a set of row houses in the city. The reports says that Munoz was being aggressive towards his mother and his sister. He was trying to break into the home and they called 9-1-1 to have him detained.

The cop arrived 10 minutes later and confronts Munoz. Within seconds, Munoz is screaming holding a knife above his head in a clear view and threatening manner. The cop fired on him and Munoz dropped. He was dead on the scene.

Munoz was awaiting a criminal trial on four counts of aggravated assault before he was shot and killed. He had previous charges of stalking, harassment and criminal trespassing. Last year, he was accused of stabbing four people.

In that incident, he was tased by the law and taken into custody.

Police chief Jarrad Berkihiser held a presser to address the shooting. He said that the incident is under investigation and he promised that they will get to the bottom of it. He called for protests to be calm.

Mayor Danene Sorace said that she was saddened by the events. She said that it was a heartbreaking day for the city and she said that she grieves with those involved.

Lancaster is 40 miles from Harrisburg. It has 53,000 residents.

Everyday at least 103 people die from gun violence. I can't even tell you how many stories I've missed involving gun violence in the country. Police shootings are part of the systematic problem with gun violence. No amount of training will ever stop a cop from using split judgement when it comes to a life-or-death situation. However, given how many of these incidents should have involved  deescalation, these fatal encounters should have been prevented.

Owens now decides to take her crusade of coonary to LeBron James.

James is very passionate about Black Lives Matter and has vowed to help get African Americans out to vote against Donald J. Trump.

Over the weekend, two Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies were shot in an ambush. The far-right has immediately blamed Biden, Kamala Harris and Black Lives Matter for the actions of this terrorist.

Owens decided to place the blame on James.

Why else does this happen? Because when pea-brained athletes put the name of an alleged RAPIST on their helmets and jerseys, criminals begin believing they are acting as heroes.

Owens a notorious troll on social media has attacked athletes, entertainers and politicians for supporting Black Lives Matter.

She criticized athletes for putting Jacob Blake on their jerseys and praising him. Blake who was shot seven fucking times in the back by a Kenosha, Wisconsin cop is lucky to be alive. He is paralyzed from the waist down and is being treated for his injuries. He is currently facing charges for an alleged sexual assault. The cop who shot him is in the freezer pending an investigation into whether he is justified in using force.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Owens has been a thorn in the eyes of Black entertainers and athletes. She has earned support from white nationalists and Republicans because of her tokenism.

"You're getting pimped out by white men," said Cardi B in a response to the feud with Owens.

James haven't responded to Owens. He will in some fashion. Don't worry too much, he doesn't often give people like her much attention.

Dave Chappelle called Candace Owens an articulate idiot.

In 2018, Laura Ingraham was on Fox News complaining about James and Kevin Durant's remarks about Black America and how Trump's rhetoric is dividing the country.

"The climate is hot. The number one job in America, the appointed person is someone who doesn't understand the people --- and really don't give a fuck about the people," said James in a taping of Uninterrupted.

"[Yeah], the country is not run by a great coach," said Durant.

Ingraham said that they should, "Shut up and dribble."

"If pro athletes and entertainers want to freelance as political pundits, then they should not be surprised when they're called out for insulting politicians," said Ingraham. "There was no racial intent in my remarks -- false, defamatory charges of racism are a transparent attempt to immunize entertainment and sports elites from scrutiny and criticism."

Ingraham, Owens and other far-right agitators have faced backlash for remarks in the past. They have also faced a public boycott.

Owens has been banned from Paypal, GoFundMe and has been suspended on Twitter and Facebook numerous times. She is getting closer to be permanently banned on social media.

So hopefully, Candace Owens crosses the line one more time and we finally see this troll be permanently banned for her antics.

Two cops are in critical condition after being shot in what the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department is calling an ambush.

Video of the incident shows a figure approaching the cops' patrol car before opening fire and running away.

Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva called the terrorist a "coward."

Protesters shouted anti-police slogans and blocked the entrance to the emergency room where the cops were being treated. They blocked cops from visiting the emergency room.

The two cops are out of surgery and expected to survive their injuries.

Villanueva said they will be able to recover.

We have unrest in the nation. African Americans, Latinos and Native Americans had enough of the status quo in politics, religion, entertainment and law. The need to change started on May 25, 2020 when a cop placed his knee on the neck of an American citizen. He screamed, "I can't breathe...." and cried for his "mama."

Moments of silence, street memorials, naming of public places, saying "Your heart goes out to...," lowering of flags and hashtags are platitudes. They are a huge waste of time. It's a man-made crisis created by a lazy ass government. They are enabling this. Donald J. Trump, Congress and the National Rifle Association are a bunch of lily-livered cowards. They are numb to gun violence.

I repeat myself over and over again! I use the same old copy and paste. I hear the same trolls saying that there's nothing we can do. I keep hearing "concern" trolls telling us that it's their own fault for their own deaths. I hear the same old talking points about "good guys with guns" and "god's given rights."

Trump and lawmakers elected to federal office made politics extremely toxic. It's not just the fault of our dear leader and lawmakers, but relentless agitators on the 24/7 cable news channels. They are profiting off division and divisiveness. The internet is also a problem. It's is a breeding ground for potential mass shooters. Facebook, Twitter, Google and other social media outlets have been "ground zero" for disinformation, partisan threats and social activism. Incels and social outcasts find their outlets on sites that inspire them to cause harm to their fellow human beings.

It never happens in your community ... Until it does! Every community in the United States will eventually have a legacy. A legacy of tragedy. Gun violence will affect your town, your family and your life.

So I don't want to hear that bullshit about how "guns save lives." They don't. The only thing that survives a gun shooting is the gun.

Andrew Gillum: I'm Bisexual!

Tamron Hall talks to Andrew Gillum and his wife about the night that destroyed his political career.

It was pretty obvious from the pictures he's posted on social media.

In the premiere of Tamron Hall's daytime talk show, former Tallahassee mayor and Florida Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum comes out the closet. He tells the host that he's bisexual.

"I don't identify as gay, but I do identify as bisexual," Gillum told Hall. "That is something I've never publicly shared before."

Gillum is married to R. Jai Gillum and has three children. Apparently, R. Jai was angered by the whole ordeal, she is considering divorcing him. For now, she's still with him as they arrange for spousal and child support to handled by the court.

So apparently in she knew he was bisexual.... I don't buy it.

"So many people don't understand bisexuality. Bisexuality is just something different. I just believe that love and sexuality exist on a spectrum. All I care about is what's between us and what agreement we make."

Hall shares the news on social media.

Gillum made the news last year when he was found apparently naked in a hotel room in Miami Beach with two openly gay men, a bag of crystal meth and a lot of signs of a binge party. Gillum at first claimed he went to a bachelor's party for a friend in Miami Beach and it got out of hand. It turns out that he arranged a tryst with a male prostitute at the hotel.

The male prostitute overdosed on alcohol and meth.

He went off the radar and was let go from CNN shortly after the incident went viral.

Gillum who was within striking distance of becoming Florida's first African American governor would have been compromised by the far-right due to his antics. He is a grown man and is entitled to do whatever he wants. But given that he wanted to raise his profile in politics, folks probably saw the writing on the wall when he was under federal watch while mayor of Tallahassee.

Gillum came under the feds radar when his "friend" Adam Corey snitched on him. The feds were looking into history of Gillum's expenses while mayor and candidate.

Gillum used that money to arrange secret gay trips to Costa Rica, New York City and Miami Beach.

Gillum was angered by The Daily Mail and other tabloids releasing that image of him naked on the floor covered in vomit.

Tamron Hall asks Gillum to open up about the night he was found naked in a hotel room.

"When that photo came out, I didn't recognize the person on the floor," he said. "That was not anything more than a person being at their most vulnerable state, unconscious, haven given no consent, and someone decided to use a moment where I was literally lying in my own vomit."

What the Miami-Dade County detectives saw was apparently a nearly dead man on the floor high on meth and alcohol. They took the picture only as evidence of a criminal act and possible autopsy.

So asked about him cheating on R. Jai with other men and women, Gillum didn't admit to this but said: "Bisexuality in and of itself doesn't lead to unfaithfulness. There are men who are in marriages with women who just because they're married to women doesn't mean they're attracted to other women, and at any point can slip up, make a mistake, do something, and that is what it is. The same thing in bisexual relationships."

"You can be attracted to both, you got a bigger terrain out there that you have to contend with, but you can still choose to be physically with one person."

Gillum's special friend told the feds that Gillum spend taxpayer money on their fling.

Gillum claimed that he went into a deep depression and went to an alcoholic and drug treatment center shortly after.

Hall, 50 celebrates her second season of her talk show. With COVID-19 hurting the entertainment industry, Hall and many other talk show hosts are trying to find other ways to get audiences. Hall used to work for NBC and MSNBC until 2017. She was bumped for that far-right agitator Megyn Kelly. The agitator hosted a daytime show that didn't last the full season. She made racist comments about blackface and Black athletes. After she was forced off the air, the agitator went to making podcast and interviewing controversial figures like Joe Biden accuser Tara Reade.

Kelly is a washed up celebrity.

Tamron Hall predicted that Megyn Kelly would fail. 

It's been rough for daytime television and scripted shows.

Florida city repeals its saggy pants ban.

Opa-locka, Florida repealed its 13-year ban against saggy pants. That ban was seen as an attempt to stop African American males from having their pants hanging down showing their underwear.

The city commission voted this ordinance in 2007 and another ordinance that cited men or women for showing their underwear while sagging. On Wednesday, the city repealed the ordinances.

"I was never in support of it, even as a resident," vice mayor Chris Davis, who sponsored the repeal.

"I felt it disproportionately affected a certain segment of our population, which is young, African-American men."

They want to sag their pants. Let them.

The vote to repeal the ban will have to be approved one more time before it's official. The repela was initially approved by a 4-1 vote.

I wonder who the fuck was that one vote?

Opa-locka is a city located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. It has a population of 23,000 residents.

The city has a majority Black population. About 68% of the residents are African American (non-Latino).

I will be blunt with you, I heard that in prison, if you're sagging, you're fresh. An inmate who hasn't slept with anyone in years will find a mark. They will take advantage of the young inmates. They will groom them and eventually make them their....well you know.

Freedom, Georgia!

A city founded by Black families. 19 Black families want to incorporate an American city of the 97 acres of land purchased in rural Georgia.

A group of 19 Black families bought 97 acres in rural Wilkinson County, Georgia

They are trying to establish a "safe haven" community for Black families.

Real estate agent Ashley Scott says that history will be made in America. She surveys the nearly 97 acres of land she and a group of Black families bought in August.

"I'm hoping that it will be a thriving safe haven for people of color, for Black families in particular," said Scott to the local junk food media.

The land sits just east of Macon-Bibb County in a rural slab of Wilkinson County. Scott and her friend, investor and entrepreneur Renee Walters, didn't initially plan on buying a large plot of land, but they had a vision that was clear -- build a safe space for Black families.

"Being able to create a community that is thriving, that is safe, that has agriculture and commercial businesses that are supporting one another and that dollars circulating in our community, that is our vision."

They created this community in the wake of the Ahmaud Arbery shooting. They felt a need to build a community that treats everyone with the same respect.

"Watching our people protesting in the streets, while it is important, and I want people to stay out in the streets, bringing attention to the injustices of Black people. We needed to create a space and a place where we could be a village, a tribe, again," said Scott.

Two women got their family and friends to purchase land to create their own city.

The two women launched an initiative that would create a new city founded by Black families.

"We both have Black husbands. We both have Black sons. And I was starting to get overwhelmed and have a sense of anxiety when my husband will leave the house and go to work," said Walters. "So, it was like, OK, what can we do? And once I saw the post of Toomsboro going viral, about a town being on sale, I was like, 'Oh, this is perfect.'"

Scott and Walters reached to family and friends to see who might be interested in joining their effort.

Together, they created the Freedom Georgia Initiative to spearhead the purchase. They hope to incorporate the land they bought into a new city, called Freedom, Georgia.

Republicans Nominate Transgender Satanist For Sheriff!

Republican candidate for sheriff is a transgender Satanist.

Again, I don't have no hatred of a person's race, gender, sexuality, transition, religion, education, social and economic standings.

I am very tolerant of the LGBTQ community. They are human beings too.

A far-right libertarian transgender Satanist is on the ballot and many Republicans were shocked to find out the candidate's history. So this transwoman named Aria DiMezzo is going to be on the ballot for Cheshire County Sheriff.

DiMezzo, running as a Republican has a platform for the people. Pretty much "Fuck the Police."

The Republicans didn't put much into the race because the party's is transphobic and bigoted.

She said that the state and county Republicans will not put money into the race. DiMezzo won the nomination unopposed in the primary. She will face off against Sheriff Eli Rivera, who is running as a Democrat.

Marylin Huston, the Cheshire County GOP chairwoman congratulated DiMezzo on her victory. But was being a total asshole by referring DiMezzo as a "he" instead of correctly identifying as a female.

"He did very well with the primary and that was wonderful," Huston said.

DiMezzo comes from the far-right Free Keene group. This bunch of Libertarian activists produced a gubernatorial candidate named Nobody (formerly known as Rich Paul). DiMezzo who also operates a internet radio show where she is identified as a "shemale."

DiMezzo signed up to run as a Republican two days before the deadline when she found out longtime Republican candidate Earl Nelson was not running. DiMezzo wanted to prove that the Republican Party was diverse by allowing her to be a part of the party.

It seems like they don't want that type of party. Especially since, DiMezzo's refers herself as a "transexual Satanist anarchist."

She is the "High Priestess of the Reformed Satanic Church" and is running on the Trump's law and order stance.

The candidate ran unopposed and believes the voters will support her.

DiMezzo brushed off the hate mail, the threats of violence and concerns that she's a ringer for the Democrats. She said that she's a conservative and believes the people of Cheshire County will support her over the Democratic candidate.

Religious freedom right?

Folks shouldn't care if the candidate is Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Hindu, Islamic, Buddhist, Shiekh, Satanist, Atheist or Agnostic. They should vote for the issues they're supportive of. But since we live in this farce of "good vs. evil," the folks are going to believe Satanists are bad and Christians are good.

Reboot of Girlfriends in the works. The sitcom premiered 20 years ago.

The UPN sitcom featuring Tracee Ellis Ross, Jill Marie Jones, Persia White, Golden Brooks and Reggie Hayes celebrates 20 years.

Back in 2000, UPN premiered Girlfriends. It was an American sitcom that premiered on September 11, 2000 and lasted for eight seasons. It carried on when The WB and UPN merged to become The CW Network.

The show followed four friends who shared life's tests and triumphs together. Through dating and divorce and raising children, the characters Joan, Maya, Lynn and Toni support each other despite their different backgrounds, learning about true friendship in the process.

The show gave way to another series which aired shortly after. The Game which featured Tia Mowry-Hardrict premiered as a a backdoor pilot on Girlfriends.

Mara Brock Akil, the creator of Girlfriends, Being Mary Jane, The Game and Black Lightning has been a key figure in writing some critically acclaimed programs.

Tracee Ellis Ross, the show lead gathered her former castmates for a reunion and announcement.

Netflix is picking up the show and its starts streaming along with six other sitcoms.

Girlfriends, Moesha, The Game, Half & Half, Sister, Sister, The Parkers and One on One are now streaming on Netflix.

Mara Brock Akil created Girlfriends and it premiered on September 11, 2000.

Most of these shows were on UPN back in the mid to late 1990s before the merger. Sister, Sister was originally on ABC before it moved to the WB Network.

The celebration of Strong Black Lead begins on August 1 on Netflix. If you're a binge watcher during the COVID-19 pandemic, these shows will make you laugh, cry and give you an understanding.
