The victim Marcus Harper was on his way home when Kyndra Shackleford was in a trick's vehicle she taken from a local gas station. The police gave pursuit which led to speeds ranging over 100 mph.
Shackleford blew through a light near the Hollywood Gaming racino and struck the vehicle that Marcus and passenger Loretta Creech were in. Marcus died on impact and Loretta was severely injured.
Ever since she was a juvie she had run-ins with the law. Before this event, she was the woman who fired shots in the air to provoke a former boyfriend. She was a troubled teen who could not find the help she needed. She was bipolar and a victim of abuse. It's not an excuse for the reckless behavior, but the thrill of the chase and the fear of being caught drove her to flee.
Shackleford was under the influence of alcohol at the time and she had felonies on the books.
Huber Heights Officer Mike Winterbotham was the officer who gave chase and radioed for assistance.
The court threw the book at her. She got 15 to LIFE in the iron college. With time served she could be out in 16.5 in the iron college.
The court ordered her to pay the restitution for the victims. She was fined $1,590 and is banned from driving for LIFE. If she is released to in-house via parole, if she is caught driving on the road, she could go back to the iron college to serve LIFE.
The Huber Heights Police, Montgomery County Sheriff and Dayton Police are not off the hook either. The officer's need to "stop a bad guy" when they take off in a vehicle is becoming a real danger to the community. They have to evaluate how to handle high speed pursuits.

The pull over was around 1:17 am. Investigators says Jones initiated the stop because the light bulbs that illuminate the license plate on Jerime's truck were burned out. A minor infraction.

Once again, Jones's testimony was more important than the victim's. The grand jury decided to not indict the officer. They also decided to not indict Jerime for the charges of marijuana possession and fleeing and eluding an arresting officer.
Mississippi woman got shamed by Victoria's Secret.
A woman who was at an Oxford, Mississippi mall was roused by a Victoria's Secret manager. The manager accused her and another woman of being geekers. The original geeker was busted but the reactionary of the manager made the situation worse. She told Kimberly Houzah and the other woman to leave the store.
At first, Houzah was caught off guard by the demand. So she starts filming and it went viral. It got the attention of the corporate office in New Albany, Ohio and the manager and another worker were fired out the cannon.
On the company's Facebook page, Victoria's Secret stated it had reached out to Kimberly Houzah, who recorded her experience at the store in a Facebook Live video.
"We take the experience of our customer at the Quintard Mall very seriously and have reached out to her directly to express our sincere apology," the statement reads. "What happened at our store should not have happened and does not represent who we are or what we stand for."
The store associate involved "is no longer employed with the company," the statement continues.
"Victoria's Secret is adamant that all customers regardless of race be treated with dignity and respect at all times," it said.
Houzah, a traveling nurse who is a native of Calhoun County, made the video in which she can be seen in the Victoria's Secret store inside Quintard Mall. She claimed in the video she and another black woman were told to leave the store by management after a black woman they did not know was caught shoplifting.
Earlier today, Houzah returned to the store with supporters and store employees apologized to her there.
In the 11-minute video, Houzah says she is a regular customer of Victoria's Secret.
"I'm a little more settled about it today," she said. "I don't want anything bad to happen to anyone. I mean, I can't change who I am. I'm an African-American female and I just want to be treated like everybody else."
Houzah said she will probably continue to shop at Victoria's Secret, though she may not come into the Oxford location again.

While in Dallas, the FBI and U.S. Marshals intercepted Dun Deal. Undercovers arrested him while he was with his family. They went to his studio in Atlanta and swarmed the place during a 6AM Knock-Knock. That's a controversial no knock warrant. Stokes pleaded not guilty to the arson in connection to the August fire in Endicott, New York.
