Summer Heat!

Okay, Friday brings forth the release of the jobs report. And there's a sign that the economy is improving.

The Labor Department reports that there were 196,000 jobs added in the month of June. Unfortunately the unemployment number continues to stand at 7.6%.

The signs that more Americans are looking for jobs with cautious optimism. So there's a slight possibility more Americans are confident to find a job in less than a week.

There is still long term joblessness. People are very cautious of looking for a job. People continue to think we're still in a recession despite the improvements in the economy and stock market rebound.

There are more service industry jobs that offering less hours and low pay. But require overwhelmingly hard work.

Congress job approval is terrible. The congress has job approval at 13%

The president's job approval is at 45%. Mostly due to the controversies of the NSA, IRS and lack of progress in his second term.

The country is bouncing back.

But there's still some who would rather take it to the ground so they can have a "gotcha moment".

Feds Stall Obamacare In The Workplace!

In the potential of conservative backlash, the president stalled implications of the controversial health care law that required employers to provide insurance to workers or face fines.

The controversial legislators in Washington are crowing about the president's pull back on the Affordable Healthcare Law.

The conservative business owners decided to stiff the part time and temporary worker by cutting their hours so it forces them to quit, and/or forces full time workers to be available for any shift necessary to the needs of the company.

It's happening in the service industry and manufacturing industry.

So in order to quarrel the outrage and also save grace for the potential defeat in the 2014 U.S. Midterm Elections, the White House issued executive orders to hold back the mandate for businesses until 2015.

The businesses already plotted against the worker. They wanted that perennial loser Mitt Romney to win.

He didn't win, so now they'll either punish the workers with cuts in their hours or mandatory layoffs.

The Washington Post reports that the Affordable Care Act requires all employers with more than 50 full-time workers provide health insurance or pay steep fines. That policy had raised concerns about companies downsizing their workforce or cutting workers’ hours in order to dodge the new mandate.

In delaying the enforcement of that rule, the White House sidesteps those challenges for one year. It is also the second significant interruption for the Affordable Care Act, following a one-year delay on key functions of the small business insurance marketplaces.

Together, the moves could draw criticism that the administration will not be able to put into effect its signature legislative accomplishment on schedule.

Elbert Guillory: Tokens Please!

Another Black Republican comes out and the junk food media folks embrace the reactionary.

Those conservative agitators in the junk food media are putting on another Black Republican as their savior against the massive outcries of bigotry within the Republican Party.

Some nobody from Louisiana named Elbert Guillory has announced last month he's switched parties.

Elbert Lee Guillory (born June 24, 1944) is an African American Republican member of the Louisiana State Senate.

He represents District 24, including his native Opelousas, Louisiana, and an assortment of rural precincts.

Up until 2007, Guillory had been a registered Republican. He became a Democrat in 2007 when he first ran for the state House in the heavily Democratic District 40.

During the 2013 regular session of the Louisiana Legislature, Guillory switched his party affiliation back to Republican.

Officially, Guillory's party-switch occurred on May 31, when he was presented with the Frederick Douglass Award from the @Large Society. Earlier, State Senator Karen Carter Peterson, the chair of the Louisiana Democratic Party, had indicated racism to be the reason why the Louisiana Legislature and Governor Bobby Jindal opposed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), a federal statute adopted in 2010 by Congress and signed into law by President Barack Obama. Jindal and the legislature had declined to implement in Louisiana that part of the federal act offering the states federal funding for Medicaid.

Guillory took exception to Carter Peterson's characterization of the opponents of Obamacare, but his intent to switch parties had already been under consideration.

Before Guillory's switch, the last Republican of African-American ethnicity in the Louisiana Senate had served during the Reconstruction era.

In accepting the award, Guillory compared himself to 19th-century abolitionist Frederick Douglass, a Republican who had supported Abraham Lincoln.

Guillory has a conservative political philosophy.

Guillory explained his party switch in a 4-minute 17-second video widely circulated in state and national media outlets, including the radio programs of King Hippo, That Guy Who Helped Obama Win, and by Some Guy on Loserville.

The video was viewed on You Tube within the first three days by nearly 500,000. Filmed in the rear of the Senate chamber, the video calls the Democrats "the party of Jim Crow" and depicts the Republicans as "the party of freedom and progress." Guillory said that his defection to the Republican Party is "not only right for me, but for all of my brothers and sisters in the black community."

He decided that his principles are to be a "proud Black Republican". He wants to wake "us Black folk" out of the trance of Brotha Barack.

He believes that "NIGGERS" are taking advantage of the hard fought earnings of patriots who fought for the right to push religion in school.

He believes that evil "Democrat Party" started the Ku Klux Klan, gave Blacks no hope in New Orleans and other Black majority cities. He thinks that Planned Parenthood plots genocide, and that Muslim in the White House is a "socialist".

Guillory doesn't want to be trapped on "da plantation" like the rest of "us Black folk".

See he's a freed NEGRO. He's welcomed with open arms in the Republican Party. The party who freed the slaves.

The party that claims that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is one of their alumni.

The party who believes that Franklin D. Roosevelt, Lyndon B. Johnson, Bill Clinton and the Muslim Socialist Mulatto are all racists in disguise.

Real heroes are like Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush made this country safe and stopped evils home and abroad.

He switched parties because he probably didn't get what he wanted out of a committeeship and the previous party was tired of his bullshit. So they've said good riddance to him.

But to The Guy Who Helped Obama Win, King Hippo and The Guy Who Throws Shit To The Wall, he's the umpteenth new "BLACK HOPE".

Elbert Guillory played the bait and switch game. He was then a Republican, before became a Democrat, before he became a Republican. He wanted to bait Blacks into voting for him in a heavily Democratic district. Upon redistricting, he lost a portion of his district. So instead of competing for it, he'll just switch to become a Republican so he didn't have to face a defeat in the general election this year. Louisiana goes for another governor this year after Bobby Jindal, a Republican finishes his term.

This is another right wing bigot in Black skin. Another reason to why Blacks will not join the Republican Party. He only cares about winning than those suppose of Black folks he's trying to free from the Democrat Plantation.

Blacks are conservative at heart. But we're not stupid like those who paint us out to be. We're not natural born criminals. We see how conservatives treat Trayvon Martin and the young woman who was a witness.

We see how they reacted to a Cheerio's commercial on YouTube about an interracial family.

We see how they reacted to the notion of a Black woman scream she got an "OBAMA PHONE".

We see how they've disrespected Jay-Z, Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, Susan Rice, Van Jones, Eric Holder, Shirley Sherrod, Nelson Mandela, First Lady Michelle Obama, Ludacris, and Will.i.am. We know they're public figures but damn, these guys look at them as NIGGERS more so than entertainers and politicos.

The reaction to the president is enough for a Black person to not support the Republican Party.

They may have legitimate concerns with the president, fine. But the reactionary bullshit cause by those conservative agitators in the junk food media sponge the minds of these individuals.

They're entitled to be bigots. They have the freedom of speech, like this Guillory person.

But seriously, if I was a Black Republican, why is it that my party atone to all these characterizations?

Do they really want to be diverse?

The Republican Party is 90% WHITE and 10% everything else. Like cocaine.

By the way, I am tired of these NEGROS pissing on the graves of Fredrick Douglass, Booker T. Washington, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and any other Black leader who fought for the rights to be equal among all the races.

These grandstanding Black Republicans and their conservative allies don't want nothing to do with us.

They rather see the Black man in jail or killing one another. They can't stand Black leaders (i.e. Barack Obama) and hip-hop music.

They want control over us when it comes to entitlements, guns, employment, and housing. But we can't have control over them because we're supposedly the actual racists.

The Black Girls Club: ...Just Like It's What Black Women Talk About

The Black Girls Club: ...Just Like It's What Black Women Talk About: (h/t Racialicious ) Six years ago, I had a deal with Lifetime Television to develop my bestselling novel, The Dirty Girls Social Club, as...

Independence Day!

The third most active holiday in the year. Independence Day. We celebrate 237 years since the United States of America was formed.

The day we celebrate America's "freedom".

It's not a real great day for those who fought for Civil Rights in the South.

The Supreme Court revoked the portion of the Voting Rights Act in which would have the government watch localities that try to play shenanigans at the ballot box.

The junk food media's conservative agitators are hoping that idiot gets off with an acquittal of the murder of Trayvon Martin. They want to see Black America riot in the street so they can blame President Barack Obama for the decision. That idiot thought it was "god's plan" to kill an unarmed teenager. Yeah, those in the media want to wrap the case up with that idiot walking out in a hoodie.

We lost 19 of our brave firefighters in Prescott, Arizona. There was a severe wildfire in the desert and this "hot shot" team were caught off guard by a shifting wind and overwhelmingly hot temperatures. We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to those lost in this senseless tragedy.

The LGBT community can now have benefits as a married couple. In 14 states will allow gay marriage and the possibility of legal challenges will continue in states that don't accept it. Since the Supreme Court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act and the California Proposition 8, many same sex couples are celebrating and are rushing to the alter. The decision tosses it back to the lower courts.

Our men and women serving overseas in Afghanistan and military bases abroad are not here celebrating. We once again thank them for their service and wish them safe. The military have expanded its resources across the world and many Americans are cautious about intervention in Egypt and Syria.

The United States Congress are once again on a vacation. The members of Congress job approval is at 13%  right  now. With the conservative members of both the Republican and Democratic Party stalling progress, we the American people suffer. The student loans rate will go up now that the Stafford Loan expired.

Just like with the E85 and green energy credits expiring, now another benefit to helping is being scrapped.

You see that our Congress inactiveness has hurt the president's job approval as well.

We're in a sequester. A forced mandate in which it advocates painful cuts to the government and it's impact is being felt in the local communities. The air shows allow U.S. Air Force planes to perform at the shows. In my community, their annual air show ended with a tragedy. A woman who is a professional plane walker died along with her pilot in a crash. Jane Wicker and her pilot Charlie Schwenker died at the Vectren Dayton Air Show in June. Air shows have seen cutbacks with attendance with the lost of Air Force planes.

Look there are plenty of things to be thankful for this holiday weekend. I am proud to be an American.

But there are some things that makes me shake my head in disgust. Our freedom of speech has gotten even more nastier. I am more nastier in how I address the public nowadays. I keep a small circle and it's really getting smaller.

I am not perfect and I don't want to call myself anything less.

But nowadays, if we could allow our freedom of speech create hateful websites, countless gun crimes, legal limbo from the court and the lawmakers, and the despair of hundreds if not millions of those in need:

What is there to celebrate freedom for?

We can barbecue and have fireworks, but we don't have the decency to say thanks to a soldier or help a person in need because we're feed bias by the junk food media, yeah what's is there to celebrate freedom for?

50 Shades Of Bruisin' Lands 50 Cent In Hot Water!

Media mogul gets a day in court for domestic abuse.

The G-Unit honcho is landed again in hot water.

The rapper may face some time in the iron college after he allegedly attack his former girlfriend in Los Angeles.

Great way to get The Street King Immortal out there, Mr. Curtis Jackson.

The Associated Press and Huffington Post report that he was charged this week with attacking his ex-girlfriend and trashing her Los Angeles condo, city attorney Mike Feuer said Wednesday.

The 37-year-old "In da Club" singer, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was charged with domestic violence and four counts of vandalism in papers filed Monday. If convicted, he faces up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines.

A representative for Jackson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Jackson had already left when officers arrived June 23 at a Toluca Lake condo belonging to a woman who had a baby with him, police said.

Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Eminem.
During an argument, the woman told police, Jackson began destroying her property before she locked herself into her bedroom. The woman said Jackson kicked open the bedroom door and kicked her, causing injury.

Police said they estimated about $7,100 in damage to the woman's home. They observed many broken items in the ransacked and clothes-strewn condo, including chandeliers, furniture and a television.

The woman told police she had been in a three-year relationship with Jackson.

"Regardless of perceived celebrity or notoriety, domestic violence is a serious crime and alleged perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law by this office," Feuer said.

The Queens-reared rapper has referenced drug-dealing and violence in many songs, and is known for having survived nine gunshots in an attempted assassination.

Jackson has also worked as an actor in recent years. He starred in an autobiographical account of his life as a drug dealer in "Get Rich or Die Tryin'."

Jackson is due for arraignment July 22.

50 Cent signed to Interscope in 2002 after encouragement from Jimmy Iovine. Iovine introduced the rapper to Eminem and Dr. Dre who both produced most of his albums.

BREAKING: Egypt Dumps Mohammed Morsi!

egypt morsi
You're out of office.

We're experiencing another ouster of leadership in the African/Middle Eastern nation of Egypt.

A coup removes the conservative leader Mohammed Morsi.

The Associated Press reports that Egypt's military has ousted the nation's Islamist president, replacing him with the chief justice of the Supreme Constitutional Court, calling for early presidential election and suspending the Islamist-backed constitution.

Army chief Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi, in a televised address to the nation on Wednesday, said a government of technocrats will be appointed to run the country during a transition period he did not specify.

An aide of ousted President Mohammed Morsi, Ayman Ali, said the former leader has been moved to an undisclosed location. He gave no details.

Cheers erupted among millions of protesters nationwide who were demanding Morsi's ouster. Fireworks lit the Cairo night sky. Morsi supporters elsewhere in the city shouted "No to military rule."

The Society of the Muslim Brothers  (Arabic: جماعة الإخوان المسلمين‎, often simply: الإخوان المسلمون, the Muslim Brotherhood, transliterated: al-ʾIkḫwān al-Muslimūn) is the Arab world's most influential and one of the largest Islamic movements, and is the largest political opposition organization in many Arab states.

Founded in Egypt in 1928 as a Pan-Islamic, religious, political, and social movement by the Islamic scholar and schoolteacher Hassan al-Banna, by the end of World War II the Muslim Brotherhood had an estimated two million members.

Its ideas had gained supporters throughout the Arab world and influenced other Islamist groups with its "model of political activism combined with Islamic charity work".

Bassem Youssef, a comedian and entertainer from Egypt really set the groundwork for the ouster.

Morsi and the government targeted the entertainer with prison time for insulting him and Islam.
Bassem Youssef, an Egyptian entertainer played a key role in getting Morsi out of office.
On January 1, 2013, the daily Al-masry Al-youm reported that an Egyptian prosecutor was investigating Bassem Youssef on charges of maligning President Mohammed Morsi, whose office claimed that Youssef's show was "circulating false news likely to disturb public peace and public security and affect the administration."

Despite all of the controversy it sparks, El Bernameg has been a major success.

It is constantly topping the regional YouTube charts, making Bassem Youssef's YouTube channel the most subscribed to in Egypt.

On March 30, 2013, an arrest warrant was issued for Youssef for allegedly insulting Islam and Morsi. The move was seen by opponents as part of an effort to silence dissent against Morsi's government. Youssef confirmed the arrest warrant on his Twitter account and said he would hand himself in to the prosecutor's office, jokingly adding, "Unless they kindly send a police van today and save me the transportation hassle."

The following day, he was questioned by authorities before being released on bail of 15,000 Egyptian pounds.

The event sparked international media attention as well as a segment on Jon Stewart's The Daily Show in which he declared his support for Youssef, calling him a "friend" and "brother" and saying to Morsi: "What are you worried about? You're the President of Egypt! You have an army! [Youssef]'s got puns and a show; you've got tanks and planes."

No Love Muffins: B. Scott Feuds With BET!

b scott mariah carey bet awards
Celebrity agitator B. Scott airs frustration with BET after they told him not to wear high heels and makeup. The entertainer Mariah Carey is supporting him and the public backlash is forcing BET to publicly apologize to him.

Are probably familiar with the term "love muffins?"

That's the trademark words of a celebrity agitator on YouTube who managed to become an internet sensation. He has a well known blog and YouTube page and has millions of followers.

Despite his huge success, the folks over at Black Entertainment Television (BET) treat him as a second class citizen. The network is getting some flack over its treatment of an openly gay celebrity agitator known as B. Scott.

The celebrity agitator was at the BET Awards Show doing a pre-award preview when the head honchos were telling the celebrity agitator not to put on high heels and makeup.

You already expect something stupid to happen at the BET Awards Show. I mean they're going to some hip-hop performer fighting with another one. It happened before with Rick Ross and Young Jeezy behind the scenes. That was big enough to draw attention to The Guy Who Throws Shit To The Wall.

You know in the conservative/white supremacist bubble, any Black award show (i.e. The Source, Vibe, Soul Train, BET or NAACP) is expected to be an all out NIGGER GATHERIN!

They already assume that since it's a Black-themed awards show, somehow the guns would be drawn and people are dying. Good ol' fashion Black entertainment.

B. Scott operates his official blog and YouTube page.
Now onto the B. Scott issue.

B. Scott (born Brandon Scott Sessoms on March 21, 1981) is an American television personality, radio show host and internet celebrity who is best known for his YouTube videoblogs and website lovebscott.com .

The Huffington Post reports that the feud started with a move by program directors.

The 2013 BET Awards aired live at the Nokia Theatre L.A in Los Angeles on June 30 but it wasn't anything that went down on stage that appears to have caused the most controversy.

Prior to the ceremony, the network aired coverage of the Ford Red Carpet featuring B. Scott and singer Adrienne Bailon, Clutch Magazine notes.

B. Scott, a contributing editor to The Glam Network and an Ebony Magazine advice columnist, is known for his witty words and style.

After the BET awards, Scott took to his Twitter account to address tweets about BET allegedly making him change his wardrobe and remove his heels and lipstick, as News One reports.

In the picture Scott is wearing dark lipstick, which he was without during the red carpet coverage. Prior to posting the picture of Scott and Carey on Instagram, the host posted a video where he says, "Let me just say this. I am so f*cking beat and I don't give a f*ck who don't like it!"

On his official blog:

“It’s not just about the fact that BET forced me to pull my hair back, asked me to take off my makeup, made me change my clothes and prevented me from wearing a heel,” he wrote. It’s more so that from the mentality and environment created by BET made me feel less than and that something was wrong with who I am as a person. “

Again the LGBT community has become more aggressive against bigotry in the media. They're fighting against people and companies who stand in their way of love and happiness. They've managed to win some major fights. One being the Defense of Marriage Act which was struck down in 2013.
Black exploitation television.
They gotten fast food company Chick-fil-A to tone down its harsh stance against gay employees. They've managed to push the narrative in favor of marriage equality.

They're calling out rappers, conservative agitators, entertainers who are allies saying offensive terms about gays (i.e. Alec Baldwin) and outing celebrities and politicos who stand in the way.

And they've managed to change the mind of the president, the Democrats and at least four Republican lawmakers when it comes to gay marriage.

You may have a friend, a family member, a co-worker or even child who may be a part of the LGBT community. I am accepting of the LGBT community and I'm straight.

Should I be ashamed of being in favor of them having equal rights like the rest of us?

Rick Ross appears on Def Jam. He is affiliated with Maybach Music Group.
Young Jeezy appears on Def Jam. He is affiliated with Corporate Thugs Entertainment.
Mariah Carey appears on Def Jam. She is affiliated with Motown.

Megyn Kelly In, Greta Van Susteren Out!

Loserville gives Megyn Kelly a primetime slot.

Loserville turdporter turns 43 this year and she's going have a big present handed to her. She'll be on the primetime stable with the likes of Bill-O and That Guy Who Helped Obama Win.

That assures that the primetime stable's anchor is likely leaving. I heard talk she'll be jumping back to her old home at CNN soon. I mean who would of thought that the deck chairs are moving around so fast.

Greta The Ambulance Chaser has covered everything from The Palin Da Ass, Natalee Holloway, Anna Nicole Smith, and the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case.

She denies she's getting the boot. But you know when you're denying the inevitable, it's likely evitable.

Once Megyn Kelly comes back from her maternity leave, she'll return to continue the ongoing hostile coverage of President Barack Obama and his allies in the progressive movement.

Is it the end of the road for Greta?
Besides being a blonde bombshell and another leggy conservative agitator, Roger Ailes promotes this woman to hold a torch. Delivering to the millions of misinformed views and likely Republican voters stuff that would clearly be irrational.

“Megyn [Kelly] is an exceptional talent who has successfully filled and surpassed each role we have given her at the network,” Loserville chairman and CEO Roger Ailes said in a statement.

“Her ability to command the screen, delve into the facts and lead a debate is what makes her one of the most sought-after anchors in the business.”

To hold the 10pm slot is a risky spot for the blonde conservative agitator. She'll compete with liberal agitator/actor Lawrence O'Donnell and the repeat of Anderson Cooper until the struggling network finds a suitable program host.

Although, I don't give two farts about this woman, that network and the constant agitation this network does to President Barack Obama, it's no surprise that the network gave her a chance to excel.

Howard Kurtz leaving CNN by the end of the month. Soledad O'Brien joins Al Jazeera. Ed Schultz demoted to weekends.

Man, I am not going to be having cable anytime soon. I'll just get it off the internet and SiriusXM until they screw that up.

From this point, I will acknowledge Megyn Kelly as "Megyn The Ambulance Chaser".

Former Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton spars with Megyn The Ambulance Chaser.

Guy Who Voiced Elmo Handed A Legal Victory!

Elmo gets retribution. The puppeteer Kevin Clash was handed a legal victory in his federal case against three men who accused him of having sex with them while their underage teens.

Sesame Workshop is laying off people and one of them is the famed voice of beloved child monster Elmo.

Kevin Clash, the 52 year old former puppeteer was in some major heat during his time at Sesame Street.

Last year, the man got caught in a sex scandal involving young gay men. Two of them, publicly showed their faces and threatened lawsuits alleging that Clash was having affairs with them and molesting them while on set of Sesame Street.

Clash denied the allegations and took a leave. When the news broke, everyone including myself was shocked.

For one thing, who knew that Clash was a Black guy?

Who knew that Clash was an openly gay man?

Well all that came out last year when the man publicly acknowledged that he slept with the young boys but only when they were at the "age of consent". But like with these allegations, there's probably more to come and likely a police investigation into his daily conduct on and off screen.

Clash was fired from Sesame Workshop on November 20, 2012, and released a statement saying,

"Personal matters have diverted attention away from the important work 'Sesame Street' is doing and I cannot allow it to go on any longer. I am deeply sorry to be leaving and am looking forward to resolving these personal matters privately."

Of course, you knew that the inevitable was bound to happen. After all Sesame Street became a topic of discussion when that perennial loser Mitt Romney mentioned that he would give Big Bird the ax if he passed a budget that cuts off government funding for PBS and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

Sesame Workshop also released a statement: "Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding Kevin's personal life has become a distraction that none of us want, and he has concluded that he can no longer be effective in his job and has resigned from 'Sesame Street.'" They stated that other puppeteers had been trained to serve as Clash's understudy and would take over his roles on the show.

And recently with the DOMA law repealed by the Supreme Court, the New Yorker goes forth and publish their cover article with muppets Bert and Ernie embracing the court's decision. Giving a notion that the two longtime friends were a same sex couple.

On July 1, 2013, the three cases against Clash were thrown out due to the statute of limitations running out. Lawyers for the plaintiffs said they would appeal the ruling, and Clash's lawyers expressed his hope that the ruling would allow him to restore his personal and professional life.

The Associated Press reports that federal Judge Kevin Koeltl (KOH’-toll) threw out the lawsuits Monday. He said the claims came more than six years after each man reasonably should have become aware of Clash’s alleged violations and more than three years after each turned 18. There’s at least one other lawsuit pending.

His resignation came after college student Cecil Singleton sued him for more than $5 million, accusing Clash of having sex with him when he was 15. Singleton’s lawsuit was among those thrown out Monday.

Soledad O'Brien Joins Al-Jazeera!

Veteran reporter joins Al Jazeera America.

It seems like veteran reporter Soledad O'Brien has departed from CNN.

It appears that she's moving to the Al Jazeera America. In a surprising move, the network has announced that it's signing on her and Ali Velshi to the roster.

The network is based out of Qatar and it's coverage is worldwide. Now in the United States, the network will move into a market saturated with political warfare from the likes of CNN, Loserville and Obama News.

Al Jazeera is probably more qualified in coverage of international affairs. It doesn't give the one sided story of "good vs. evil" as those America cable networks spin news out to be.

It's pretty controversial. The turdporters over at Loserville were decrying Al Jazeera as propaganda arm of terrorism.

But it's likely going to make real journalist work harder for their awards. Never seen a

It replaces liberal network Current TV. The Current TV network was started by former vice president Al Gore. The former politico wanted to compete with cable agitators by establishing a "progressive themed network" with talents that are free to express opinion unfiltered. It leaves the liberal agitators Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks, Stephanie Miller, Bill Press, John Fugelsang, and Joy Baher in limbo.

Former governors Jennifer Granholm and Eliot Spitzer departed from the network earlier this year.

They've fired Keith Olbermann in 2012. Olbermann was fired from Obama News a few years back.

Deadline confirms that the 46-year old reporter is joining the network. as “special correspondent.”

O'Brien’s production company, Starfish Media Group will produce hourlong documentary specials for the cable network. “I look forward to beginning a relationship with Al Jazeera America, which has made a commitment to producing quality programming and pursuing underreported stories,” O’Brien said in the announcement, confirming speculation that started last week. As a correspondent, O’Brien will contribute short-form segments to the primetime current affairs mag America Tonight on the new network, which is funded by the government of Qatar.

O'Brien stepped down from CNN in March when network chief Jeff Zucker scrubbed her program Starting Point; he gave the time slot to Chris Cuomo's New Day. At the time she left CNN, she formed Starfish Media, which, in addition to the production deal with Al Jazeera America, now also has a production deal with CNN, and development deals at HBO and National Geographic Channel.

Don't worry people, Soledad O'Brien still does Black In America and Latino In America for CNN.

Al Jazeera America launches in August.

Kiss The Cook Goodbye!

Reality television star catching flack for uttering racial slurs about Blacks.

Even in the midst of a major controversy involving celebrity chef Paula Deen, another reality television star goes off on the social networks attacking the Black community.

There's a show on Fox called MasterChef. It's part of the Kitchen Nightmares series with British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

The show picks amateur and home chefs in a competitive race. The one to be chosen with bring forth their  signature dish for the three judges. Each judge takes a taste of the dish and gives his opinion before voting a "yes" or a "no". At least two "yes" votes are required to earn a white MasterChef apron, allowing the competitor to advance.

Krissi Biasiello, a contestant on the fourth season of Fox's "MasterChef," has a nasty social media past.

The Philly Daily News catches the competitor popping off at the mouth. Mediaite obtains the portions of the controversial Twitter post. The woman deleted her person page but kept her fan page online. Unfortunately whomever gotten a hold of the posts are sharing them with the reps for Fox Broadcasting and Entertainment.

Mediaite claims that a reporter unearthed the two now-deleted tweets showing Biasiello making some pretty derogatory comments last year.

Biasiello is a 34-year-old paralegal based out of Philadelphia. She is currently placed within the top 11 contestants on this fourth season of MasterChef, a competitive cooking reality program co-hosted by Gordon Ramsay.
