K.C. Mayor Upstaged By Ignorant Black Constituent!

Man makes himself the news when he jumped the stage during a State of the City Address by Kansas City mayor Sly James. The protester Derron Black is a perennial candidate who lost many races. But this week's outburst may help put him with those in the Tea Party Movement. He needs advice from Congressman Joe Wilson (R-South Carolina).

Kansas City, Missouri is the largest city in the state. It's population is 472,000 and it's growing. The city covers four counties and the neighboring sister Kansas City, Kansas. The region covers the western end of Missouri and portions of eastern Kansas.

The city is home of the Kansas City Royals baseball team and Kansas City Chiefs, the NFL team still grieving over the horrible decision made by Jovan Belcher, a teammate who killed his former girlfriend and then himself.

The city is famous for barbecue, jazz, blues and the beautiful landscapes. And you can add an ignorant Black man to the city's fame.

Well today, it's reported that mayor Sly James was rattled by an angry constituent.

The mainstream media was taken back by the abrupt interruption by the man who knocked down the flagpole and stole the microphone.

He managed to get a few swears in before he was taken down by security.

The man who allegedly disrupted Kansas City Mayor Sly James’ State of the City speech on Tuesday was charged Wednesday with two misdemeanors.

Derron Black's mugshot from the lockup!
The Kansas City Star reports that Derron L. Black, 31, was charged with third-degree assault on a law enforcement officer and with obstructing government operations, according to Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker.

As the mayor was giving his speech before an audience of about 250 people at the Gem Theater, a man went on stage and commandeered the microphone. The court file alleges that when the mayor’s police-provided bodyguard, Marlon Buie, grabbed him, Black resisted Buie by punching and swinging his arms.

Buie suffered a cut on his neck and bruising on his arm. He was treated at North Kansas City Hospital on Tuesday.

Black posted bond on Wednesday and was released from jail. He could not be reached for comment.

According to the court record, Black acknowledged in a statement to police that he interrupted the mayor by throwing a flag to the floor and yelling obscenities.

On Tuesday night, a statement was posted on YouTube that purported to be an apology from Black.

“This is Derron Black,” the audio segment said, adding that he was in the jail at police headquarters. “I’m just reflecting on all today’s events, and I would just like to apologize to all my fellow Kansas Citians for being disrespectful and disruptive today.”

The statement went on to challenge James “about the true reality of the condition of the people east of Troost or just throughout Kansas City in general.”

The mayor was not harmed and went on to finish his speech, which tried to highlight progress in the city over the past year.

Black was an unsuccessful candidate last year for a seat representing Missouri House District 23.

Ohio Town Mourns Death Of Six Teens!

We here at Journal de la Reyna mourn the loss of these individuals in this tragic incident in Northeastern Ohio. The picture is of crash victim 15-year old Ramone White.
In the northeast city of Warren, Ohio, a community is mourning six teens who died in a tragic accident.

Alexis Cayson. Single mother of a son.
They said this could is one of the worst accidents in the county's history.

A woman lost control of her vehicle and hit the guardrail. The vehicle flipped and landed in the water. The accident killed six and left two badly injured.

The woman and her teenage passengers were speeding on a local road according to Ohio State Highway Patrol and it led to this fatal incident.

The tragedy affect the town because the local law enforcement known some of these victims. One tragedy that certainly hitting the news, the young woman driving the vehicle was a mother of a young child.

The Associated Press and WKBN-27 Youngstown-Warren reports that the six teenagers who died in the accident are: Alexis Cayson, 19; Andrique Bennett, 14; Kirklan M. Behner, 15; Daylan Ray, 15; Brandon A. Murray, 17; and Ramone M. White, 15. All the victims were from Warren.

Investigators said Cayson was driving at the time of the crash and that they believe speed was a factor.

Two teens were students at Willard K-8 school, two were students at Warren G. Harding High School and one was a past student at Harding, according to the school district spokesman, Aaron Schwab. Schwab in a statement said they are unsure if the sixth teen was a former student in Warren.

Brian K. Henry, 18, and Asher C. Lewis, 15, both of Warren, were treated for injuries at St. Joseph Health Center and Trumbull Memorial.

Some were wearing seatbelts, said Ohio State Highway Patrol Lt. Brian Holt, the commander of the Southington post.

All eight were friends who lived in the same east side neighborhood, a family member said.

Troopers said a 1998 Honda Passport, driven by Alexis Cayson and containing seven passengers, was traveling south on Pine Street around 7 a.m. when it veered off the left side of the road, struck a guardrail, and rolled over onto its roof in a nearby pond area.

Two of the occupants escaped the crash and went to a nearby residence and called 911.

Five victims were removed from inside the SUV. A sixth victim was ejected and was located under the vehicle. Two of the victims died at the hospital from trauma related to hypothermic drowning.

Holt said the SUV is registered to Marguis Stephenson of Youngstown and that none of those killed or injured should have had access to the vehicle. Troopers are still investigating how they got the vehicle and why they were driving early in the morning. Holt also said he would not speculate on alcohol or drug use being a factor in the crash until autopsies are completed.

"As far as the vehicle is concerned, our preliminary investigation shows that none of the occupants had expressed permission to be in possession of the vehicle," said Holt. "However, no reports have been filed or anything of that nature at this time."

Town in mourning of the death of six teens.
Ashia Cayson learned of her sister's death just before 9 a.m. She said that she had been thinking of her and was planning to get in touch with her soon. She also said that Alexis Cayson leaves behind a four-year-old son.

"She was loving. She was silly, and she was a clown. She liked to make everybody laugh even when we were sad," said Cayson. "I just want everybody to know that if you are going through something, pick up the phone and call your siblings, your family and tell them you love them. You never know what can happen. Tomorrow is not promised to anybody."

Warren Mayor Doug Franklin is offering his support to all of the families of the victims and has met with some of them personally.

The pictures of the deceased. The sixth victim's photo was released at the time.
“I have taken most of this morning to meet with all the family members that I possibly could at both hospitals,” said Franklin. “We’re going to pull together for them.”

Warren City Council President Bob Dean, who is related to one of the victims, said he plans to set up a fund at a local bank where the money donated will go directly to the funeral homes that will be providing services.

“What we always try to do, take the burden of worrying about the expenses off the plate of the family,” said Dean. “We think there are enough people, as always in our town when we have these kinds of tragedies, they step right up and we will get it done."

The Daily Telegraph and Associated Press along with WKBN contribute to this story.

Such tragedies like this shouldn't happen in America. Even though some of the victims were wearing their seatbelts, I am assuming some didn't know how to swim or free themselves from an entrapment.

Early morning emergency: The highway patrol received the first call on the crash at 7:15 a.m.Alexis Cayson is a young mother. She leaves behind a child. That young child will celebrate memorable moments without the backing of his mother.

Again, this story already got the internet buzzing. For the fact that the victims were Black and young, you already know what's happening in the White supremacists watering holes.

We all know that somehow President Barack Obama name will be uttered by these lunatics in the conservative/white supremacist bubble.

We all know that racial slurs and phony statistics would be written and devolved among comment sections of any social or news website.

We all know that conservatives will blame Democratic leaders in Washington or a majority Black city. They always fault Democrats or Black leaders for the reckless behavior of children and their parents (especially if they're of color).

We all know that conservatives and white supremacists are cheering the death of these innocent individuals.

These innocent young people didn't deserve this fate.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to families of Alexis Cayson, Andrique Bennett, Kirklan M. Behner, Daylan Ray, Brandon A. Murray, and Ramone M. White.

We send our prayers to the survivors Brian K. Henry and Asher C. Lewis.

Keith Ellison: [Hannity], The GOP Is Your Pimp!

Congressman Keith Ellison (D-Minnesota) gets into a heated debate with Sean Hannity.

That's not what the congressman said. However, this is what that annoying conservative agitator does on his nightly program and radio show. This conservative agitator practically tricking for the Republican Party.

The Minnesota congressman who was elected in 2006 as the first American Sunni Muslim and state's first African American took great offense to Fox News and the conservative agitator Sean Hannity.

Hannity listed the Democratic congressman as one of his headliners to his program.

They were going to debate the looming sequester deadline. The sequester is likely to happen putting many Americans at risk of losing their jobs. The Democrats offer a plan that includes cuts to spending but tax increases. Republicans offer a plan that includes cuts to spending but no tax increases. They're gridlocked at taxes on the wealthy.

Republicans are unpopular in this debate. It doesn't stop them from holding firm on their "principles".

Hannity goes into his selective editing of President Barack Obama's speech to a naval contractor in Newport News, Virginia and makes a word salad of insults and hyperbolic rhetoric. Hannity rants about how this sequester is not a big deal and the president is lying to the American people about this. And even claiming that it was his idea in the first place.

After playing his selective clip, the conservative agitator starts talking to Congressman Keith Ellison (D-Minnesota) about how the president is "fearmongering" the public.

Congressman Ellison went right into Hannity.

“You're the worst excuse for a journalist I've ever seen,” said Ellison.

That right there got Sean Hannity livid. And for the rest of the interview they get into a screaming match over who's at fault and what didn't get done and the like.
Sean Hannity upset with Congressman Keith Ellison after he called the conservative agitator a Republican shill.
Hannity kept lobbing these accusations that it was the president's massive debt and spending the causes of a stalled economy.

Ellison countered that the sequester was a part of the compromise by Congress to get them motivated to pass legislation that promised equal sacrifices. The congressman told Hannity that the combination of legislators in the "supercommittee" failed to reach a deal. The Republicans stubborn views on taxes have pretty much stalled Washington and progress. And now the American people have to pay because of this.

Hannity didn't buy this. He also went on to say how it's immoral to have such a massive debt.

Ellison shot back and told the conservative agitator that he's immoral and liar. Ellison declared that Sean Hannity (and likely Fox News) are shilling for the Republican Party.

Now that's how the interview went. It's certainly going to have some play on the networks. But also fuels Hannity's argument that MSNBC (or what he calls NBC News) is the pro-Obama network.

MSNBC hired former Barack Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs and campaign adviser David Axelrod to its roster.

Fox News hired former George W. Bush press secretary Dana Perino, former chief of staff Karl Rove, and former UN secretary John Bolton. Fox News commentator Tony Snow served as a press secretary for George W. Bush. Snow died in 2008.

Ellison was notably upset about the guests featured on Hannity's program some time ago. Hannity allows anti-Islamic extremists Pam Geller, Frank Gaffney, Bridget Gabrielle, David Horowitz, Jesse Lee Peterson and Alveda King to openly bash Muslims.

Ellison and Congressman Andre Carson (D-Indiana) are African Americans who are Sunni Muslims. They won reelection easily in their respectable districts.

Not many Democratic lawmakers appear on this program. Not many Democratic lawmakers appear on Fox News in general. The only occasion you at least see a Democratic lawmaker is Fox News Sunday.

Democrats figured that Fox News advocates the talking points of the Republican Party. They don't want to waste their time trying to get a message across to an audience that is already hell bent on seeing their defeat in general elections.

Sean Hannity in particular is one of the reasons why Barack Obama won reelection.

Is Muhammad Ali Gravely Ill?

Muhammad Ali

Although his family declines this, word is that the famed boxer is sick and he may eventually succumb to it!

People in the media have wonder what's going on with Muhammad Ali!

Fox News reports that Muhammad Ali's daughter dispels rumors famed boxer near death. The 71-year old was doing fine and he's spending time with his family according to May May Ali, one the boxer's daughters.

May May Ali said she talked to her father Sunday morning on the phone and he was fine. She said he was watching the Super Bowl at home in Arizona, wearing a Baltimore Ravens jersey.

"He's fine, in fact he was talking well this morning," she said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press. "These rumors pop up every once in a while but there's nothing to them."

The family later posted a photo on Twitter of Ali sitting in a chair wearing a Ray Lewis T-shirt.

The rumors were started by a report in a British tabloid quoting Ali's brother, Rahman, as saying the former heavyweight champion was near death. Rahman, though, said he hadn't seen his brother since last summer and had no contact with the family.

The report was widely repeated on the Internet, drawing expressions of condolences on Twitter and Facebook.

Ali suffers from Parkinson's disease. He celebrated his 71st birthday last month.

Ali was born Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr., January 17, 1942. Ali is an American former professional boxer, philanthropist and social activist. Considered a cultural icon, Ali has both been idolized and vilified.

Originally known as Cassius Clay, at the age of 22 he won the world heavyweight championship from Sonny Liston. Ali changed his name after joining the Nation of Islam in 1964, subsequently converting to Sunni Islam in 1975. In 1967, three years after Ali had won the heavyweight championship, he was publicly vilified for his refusal to be conscripted into the U.S. military, based on his religious beliefs and opposition to the Vietnam War.

Ali was eventually arrested and found guilty on draft evasion charges; he was stripped of his boxing title, and his boxing license was suspended. He was not imprisoned, but did not fight again for nearly four years while his appeal worked its way up to the U.S. Supreme Court, where it was eventually successful.

Ali would go on to become the first and only three-time lineal World Heavyweight Champion.

Nicknamed "The Greatest", Ali was involved in several historic boxing matches.

KO the rumors, Muhammad Ali is fine says family!
Notable among these were three with rival Joe Frazier, which are considered among the greatest in boxing history, and one with George Foreman, where he finally regained his stripped titles seven years later. Ali was well known for his unorthodox fighting style, epitomized by his catchphrase "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee", and employing techniques such as the Ali Shuffle and the rope-a-dope.

Ali brought beauty and grace to the most uncompromising of sports and through the wonderful excesses of skill and character, he became the most famous athlete in the world.

He was also known for his pre-match hype, where he would "trash talk" opponents, often with rhymes.

In 1999, Ali was crowned "Sportsman of the Century" by Sports Illustrated and "Sports Personality of the Century" by the BBC.

Nothin' CHI: Teen Killed Performed At Obama Inauguration Event!

Tragic shootings happen often in Chicago. This month closes out with 42 murders. The most murders in less than one month. Rahm Emmanuel better do something about this or he'll lose his mayoral position.

One in particular touched the nation and the White House. A young teenager who was a honor student was killed near the president's neighborhood.

Hadiya Pendleton was 15 years old when she had an opportunity to shine in the world. She had the honor to be a performer in the school marching band at the president's inauguration. A week later, the young girl was shot in the back. She died of her injuries.

This shooting went viral. The conservative media was of course spinning their racist word salad about the Black on Black crime epidemic while also defending White men owning firearms.

The liberal media was also in the spin cycle saying that this incident, the shootings in Phoenix and Midland City, Alabama were signs of a growing epidemic of gun violence. Former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, a victim of a near fatal shooting and former gun rights advocate wants Congress to pass reasonable gun control measures. Wayne LaPierre and the National Rifle Association are tone deaf to even the possibility of gun control. They slam the gun control measures sponsored by Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California) as imperfect and not a way to solve violence in the country.
Full of life.
Hadiya's death also atones to a growing problem in Chicago, Illinois. Gang violence. They city is swamped with gangs and these individuals are committing an act of domestic terrorism. Last year the city closed out with over 500 murders, a record year after years of steady decline. The Chicago Tribune reports that at a White House press briefing Wednesday, Obama spokesman Jay Carney was asked about Hadiya's death. "It's a terrible tragedy any time a young person is struck down with so much of their life ahead of them, and we see it far too often," he said.

Hadiya's slaying also came up in an interview Obama did with Telemundo. The president was asked whether the example of Chicago, with strict gun control laws, gave credence to the National Rifle Association's position that more gun laws don't necessary mean less gun violence.

"Well, the problem is that a huge proportion of those guns come in from outside Chicago," Obama said. The president said it was true that creating a "bunch of pockets of gun laws" without a unified, integrated system of background checks makes it harder for a single community to protect itself from gun violence.

Police announced an $11,000 reward for information leading to the killer's capture and conviction during a Wednesday afternoon news conference at the North Kenwood park where Hadiya was shot.

"I want this closed now," said police Supt. Garry McCarthy, who was among the police chiefs in Washington on Monday to meet with Obama on gun control. "I don't want to wait."

Hadiya was the 42nd homicide victim this year in Chicago, where killings last year climbed above 500. Mayor Rahm Emanuel spoke with Hadiya's mother Wednesday morning and later, at an unrelated news conference, said the teenager represented "what is best in our city."

"A child going to school, who takes a final exam, who had just been to inaugural," said Emanuel, looking down at the podium for several seconds to collect himself before continuing. "And I think if anybody has any information, you are not a snitch, you're a citizen. You're a good citizen in good standing if you help."

Hadiya's father, Nathaniel Pendleton, pleaded for someone to step forward and bring the 15-year-old's killer to justice.

"She was destined for great things," he said.

Hadiya was a majorette with the band at King, one of the city's elite selective-enrollment schools. She dreamed of going to Northwestern University and talked about becoming a pharmacist or a journalist, maybe a lawyer.

She had just finished her final exams at King, where she was a sophomore, and was hanging out with friends from the school's volleyball team Tuesday afternoon in a park in the 4400 block of South Oakenwald Avenue. The group sought shelter from a rainstorm under a canopy at the park about 2:20 p.m. when a gunman jumped a fence, ran toward them and opened fire, police said.

As the teens scattered, Hadiya and two teenage boys were shot. Hadiya was hit in the back and pronounced dead at Comer Children's Hospital less than an hour after the shooting. The wounds suffered by the boys were not life-threatening.

McCarthy stressed that neither Hadiya nor anyone in the group she was with were involved with gangs. But it appears the gunman mistook the students for members of a rival gang, he said.

"This guy, whoever he was, the gunman … you took the light of my life," Hadiya's father said. "Just look at yourself and just know that you took a bright person, an innocent person, a non-violent person."

No bullet casings were found by investigators at the crime scene, leading them to believe that Hadiya may have been shot with a revolver, according to McCarthy. While it took a while to gather witnesses, McCarthy said police were making "a lot of progress."

At King on Wednesday, classmates created a memorial at Hadiya's locker with pictures, teddy bears and balloons, said Jayla Rufus, 16, a junior who also traveled to D.C. with the King band. "A lot of people are saying, 'Why Hadiya? Why did it have to be her?'" Rufus said.

During the band's three-day trip to Washington, the students visited the Washington Monument and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, Rufus said. Hadiya and the majorettes performed with the band in the Presidential Inauguration Heritage Festival.

The school won multiple awards while at the competition, including a first place honor for the band's auxiliary team that included the majorettes, according to Benjamin Washington, the school's director of bands.

Washington said Hadiya was a dedicated and enthusiastic member of the squad. She competed with nearly 100 students during her freshman year to land one of 12 spots.

"She was one of our bright, shining stars," Washington said. "She had a very outgoing personality, always eager to perform."

King's principal, Shontae Higginbottom, said Hadiya was "a wonderful student."

"She was well-loved by her friends, well-adored by her teachers," Higginbottom said. "We are going to miss her. Our hearts are so heavy."

Relatives of the girl said she was in an anti-gang violence video while she was attending the Carter G. Woodson Elementary School.

"So many children are out there in gangs and it is your job as students to say no to gangs and yes to a great future," Hadiya says in the 54-second clip.

At Hadiya's Bronzeville home Wednesday, family and friends gathered to grieve and share stories about the boisterous teen they said had a quirky sense of humor.

Hadiya's little brother, Nathaniel Pendleton Jr., 10, recalled how his big sister would often greet him with a few gentle slaps on his cheeks whenever she came home from school.

"She said it was with love," he said.

"It's very painful to see your big sister get slaughtered," the soft-spoken boy said, tearing up as he went through photos of Hadiya on his phone.

Hadiya's aunt, Kimiko Pettis, laughed when talking about her niece, recalling how on Tuesday, the day she was shot, the teen put on makeup and what she declared was a "fabulous outfit" before school.

"She popped out of the bathroom saying, 'I'm ready!'" Pettis said, demonstrating how Hadiya threw her arms in air.

Pettis said her niece loved bands like Coldplay and Maroon 5. "You could not find any urban music on her phone," Pettis said with a laugh.

Because Hadiya was interested in so many things, her family said they were encouraging her to pursue a possible double major when she went to college.

"There were a lot of good opportunities that were coming her way. She was just taking them all," said LaKeisha Stewart, 37, Hadiya's godmother. "She was the kid who you had to say, 'Slow down, you can't do everything.'"

While in Washington for the inauguration, Hadiya sent her godparents a text and a photo of her and her teammates in the capital, Stewart said.

In the photo, Hadiya stands tall in her majorette's uniform, hands at her hips, face lifted in a wide smile.

The Chicago Tribune reporters Katherine Skiba, Christi Parsons, John Byrne, Carlos Sadovi and Cynthia Dizikes contributed to this story.

The problem continues and yet we allow it. The nation should do something about gun violence. With the president being reelected, many conservative White males are grabbing guns up! They are embolden by the angry voices of the NRA, talk radio, Fox News, the blogs. These individuals think they'll lose their Second Amendment rights by a semi-automatic gun ban. These individuals are the reasons for mental health checks.

Practically anyone who joins a gang has a group think mentality to be loved or wanted. That's a mental issue as well. I mean how many young teenagers wanted to be a part of something?

These children are inspired by video games, hip-hop music, rock music, magazines, talk radio and may have family members who own firearms. It's among the things that could inspire violence.

While the NRA is quick to blame the entertainment industry, they're not blameless. Over 1,000 shootings happen in the weeks after their press conference. There's a "survivalist" holding a child hostage as of today!

They've allowed Ted Nugent to say offensive themes about the president. They've released an online shooting game. The NRA have ran a political ad that slams the president and it went after his children Malia and Sasha. Last month's press conference held by Wayne LaPierre and David Keene didn't change the subject. It only made it worse.

Conservative agitators rush to defend the NRA. The conservative agitators want this issue to become another political landmine for the potential to help Republicans take back the U.S. Senate. The president has warned that if nothing is done, more lives may be lost. And the next story that's going to be covered will deal with the Midland City, Alabama incident.

I've said it many times and I stand by what I said!

GUN RIGHTS FOR WHITE MALES! GUN CONTROL FOR BLACKS, LATINOS AND MUSLIMS!

Whenever a tragedy happens in the suburbs, many Americans want serious talk about gun control. But in our urban areas, it's just another topic on the late local news.

Every live is valued. Whether it's our friend or enemy. We must figure out how to bring together reasonable ideas to resolve conflict.

I own a firearm and I at least know that I'm not going to use for the purposes of crime.

We here at Journal de la Reyna send our condolences to the family of Hadiya Pendleton.

NFL Player Pisses Off The LGBT Community!

I only do the ladies! - Chris Culliver.
The NFL corner back comes under fire when he spoke out against gay players in the NFL. The player apologized for his comments.

The NFC champions the San Francisco 49ers are going through a damage control by one of its players.

San Francisco is the hub of LGBT activism. The city represents the nation's growing Asian population and is the largest city with members of the LGBT community.

The 49ers play against AFC champions Baltimore Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII at New Orleans Mercedez-Benz Superdome. The SuperBowl is one of the world's largest television events. Over 180 million people will watch the Super Bowl on CBS this Sunday.

Chris Culliver has put his team in a negative light! He was interviewed on sports radio and made the statement that "gays aren't welcomed to the [NFL]!"

Culliver, in a radio interview with Artie Lange, said he has no desire to have a gay teammate. In a Super Bowl week that has been dominated for the first time by stories about deer-antler spray, Culliver became the first player in Super Bowl history to use the forum to make anti-gay comments.

“I don’t do the guys. I don’t do that,” Culliver said. “We don’t have any gays on the team. They gotta get up outta here if they do. Can’t be with that sweet stuff.”

Culliver’s comments were made Tuesday and began circulating Wednesday. That prompted the 49ers to issue a statement distancing themselves from Culliver.

“The San Francisco 49ers reject the comments that were made (Tuesday), and have addressed the matter with Chris,” the statement said. “There is no place for discrimination within our organization at any level. We have and always will proudly support the LGBT community.”

Culliver, a third-round pick in 2011 from South Carolina, said if a player is gay, he should not go public with it. “Yeah, come out 10 years later after that,” he said.

No active NFL player has ever come out and said he was gay, likely fearing the backlash from teammates in the locker room. Culliver’s small-minded approach won’t go over well in San Francisco, which has a large gay community.

Later Wednesday after the comments circulated, Culliver offered a bizarre, half-hearted apology distributed by the 49ers.

“The derogatory comments I made yesterday were a reflection of thoughts in my head, but they are not how I feel,” Culliver said in the statement. “It has taken me seeing them in print to realize that they are hurtful and ugly. Those discriminating feelings are truly not in my heart. Further, I apologize to those who I have hurt and offended, and I pledge to learn and grow from this experience.”

This controversy spins into the LGBT being outraged over the death of Tyler Clementi, the Rutgers University student who jumped off the George Washington Bridge.

Clementi was secretly filmed having sex with another man by roommate Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei. Ravi broadcast the encounter on the internet. It drove Clementi to killing himself.

Now the LGBT community is fighting against bigotry. Last year they've taken on former presidential candidate Rick Santorum, Chick-Fil-A, outed Arizona sheriff Paul Babeu and other bigots.

Although it's becoming more acceptable for those in the LGBT community some in the Black community are more conservative on gay rights. Hip-Hop music, Black athletes and even some Black politicians still have trouble accepting same sex couples. However there's cracks in the bubble. President Barack Obama came in defense of gay marriage last year. Blacks slightly oppose gay marriage.

I support equal rights for all Americans, straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered.

I tolerate all races, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, economic and sometimes political standings.

The reason for sometimes political standings is mainly because I've gotten tired of conservatives masquerading patriotism under the guise of bigotry and hate.

MA Gov. Deval Patrick Picks Mo Cowan To Replace John Kerry!

Senator Mo Cowan (D-Massachusetts)

There will be two Black members of the United States Senate.

The confirmation of John Kerry as Secretary of State leaves a U.S. Senate without a member.

Massachusetts governor Deval Partick, names a replacement. The governor picked his chief of staff, William "Mo" Cowan to replace Kerry until a special election is held. The last Black senator who represented Massachusetts was Edward Brooke, a Black Republican.

This will give the U.S. Senate two Black senators. A first in history that there's more than one Black member of the U.S. Senate. He is 43 years old and resides in Stoughton, Massachusetts with his wife and has two sons.

Neither Scott or Cowan were elected to serve. The last Black senator elected to office was Barack Obama who later would become the current President Of The United States. The Illinois governor at the time Rod Blagojevich selected former attorney general Roland Burris as his replacement. Burris retired from the senate and the seat went to Mark Kirk, an Illinois U.S. Representative.

Last year, Jim DeMint resigned two years into his term to be the president of The Heritage Foundation and South Carolina governor Nikki Haley selected Tim Scott, a U.S. Representative to replace him. Scott was sworn in this month. He is the only Black Republican. For at least four weeks, Scott was the only Black senator.

Upon being sworn in, Cowan will become the eighth African-American United States Senator and the second from Massachusetts after Edward Brooke. He will also be one of two African-American Senators in the 113th Congress, along with Republican South Carolina Senator Tim Scott.

Current members of the 113th Congress who were sworn in as replacements included:

Senator Dean Heller (R-Nevada)
Senator Michael Bennet (D-Colorado)
Senator Kristen Gillibrand (D-New York)
Senator Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii)
Senator Lisa Murkowski (I/R-Alaska)
Senator Bob Menendez (D-New Jersey)
Senator Roger Wicker (R-Mississippi)

Deval Patrick the first Black governor of Massachusetts had picked replacement members of the U.S. Senate. When liberal icon Ted Kennedy passed away, the governor selected Paul Kirk as the replacement.

Republican Scott Brown a state senator from Massachusetts who allied by the Tea Party won the seat and continued the remaining term. He was defeated by consumer advocate Elizabeth Warren.

Brown is signalling that he may run again!

Scott is also signalling he'll run in the U.S. Midterms through a special election in 2014. Scott and Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) will be up in a likely hold for Republicans.

The Huffington Post reports that Cowan will continue the legacy of Massachusetts longest serving senator.

He said there would be "no daylight" between him and Kerry on policy. When asked about the looming sequester, he said the "best-case scenario" was a "balanced approach" of spending cuts and tax increases. "I don't think anyone believes it's in the best interest to do straight across-the-board cuts," he said.

Patrick has consistently said that the pick to succeed Kerry should not run in the general election slated for June 25. Cowan embraced the temporary appointment Wednesday, repeating over and over that his stint would be short. Asked about his political future, he said, "I am not running for office; I am not a candidate in the future."

The late Senator Ted Kennedy requested in a letter written before his death that the interim pick to replace him not run in the general election, a principle that Patrick honored after Kennedy died by picking Kennedy's longtime chief of staff, Paul Kirk.

Former Representative Barney Frank was the only person to publicly campaign for the interim appointment, announcing his desire to fill the seat on MSNBC and doing subsequent interviews about it. Frank endorsed Representative Ed Markey (D-Massachusetts) as the preferred candidate for the U.S. Midterm elections.

Frank praised Cowan in a brief statement Wednesday. "I know Mr. Cowan is committed to working hard and in a socially fair and economically efficient manner toward solving pending budget issues," he said. “I now look forward to working for the election of Ed Markey to continue this work, and to providing President Obama the support he deserves in carrying out the mandate he received in November." A Frank representative did not respond to interview requests from The Huffington Post.

The only announced candidate for the general election is Markey, who has received a flood of endorsements from Democrats -- including Kerry -- and has a $3.1 million war chest. Representative Stephen Lynch (D-Massachusetts) is expected to announce his bid Thursday for the seat. Lynch holds more conservative positions than Markey; he opposes abortion rights and voted against President Barack Obama's health care law.

If Cowan changes his mind and decides he'll seek a full term as a senator, he will compete in a three way Democratic race for the primary nomination against both Massachusetts Democratic Representatives Markey and Lynch.

Ohio Players Frontman Sugarfoot Passes Away!

The Funk Legend passes away. The Ohio Players leader LeRoy "Sugarfoot" Bonner passes away!

The funk era with its bouncy beats and catchy hooks bore the hip-hop nation.

Funk is a music genre that originated in the mid-late 1960s when African American musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of soul music, jazz, and R&B. Funk de-emphasizes melody and harmony and brings a strong rhythmic groove of electric bass and drums to the foreground. Funk songs are often based on an extended vamp on a single chord, distinguishing it from R&B and soul songs, which are centered on chord progressions.

Like much African-inspired music, funk typically consists of a complex groove with rhythm instruments such as electric guitar, electric bass, Hammond organ, and drums playing interlocking rhythms. Funk bands sometimes have a horn section of several saxophones, trumpets, and in some cases, a trombone, which plays rhythmic "hits".

Many of the most famous bands in the genre also played disco and soul extensively. Funk samples have been used extensively in genres including hip hop, house music, and drum and bass. It is also the main influence of go-go, a subgenre associated with funk

You can credit funk music for the rise of the West Coast gangsta music. Rappers Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eazy E, Bone Thugs 'N Harmony, The D.O.C., DJ Quik, The Dogg Pound, Warren G and Nate Dogg came from the era of g-funk.

G-Funk (which uses funk with an artificially altered tempo) incorporates multi-layered and melodic synthesizers, slow hypnotic grooves, a deep bass, background female vocals, the extensive sampling of P-Funk tunes, and a high-pitched portamento saw wave synthesizer lead. The lyrical content depended on the artist and could consist of sex, drugs, violence, and women, but also of love for a city, love for friends and relaxing words. There was also a slurred “lazy” way of rapping in order to clarify words and stay in rhythmic cadence.

LeRoy "Sugarfoot" Bonner, the lead singer The Ohio Players passed away on Sunday.

The Ohio Players were credited for the hit singles: Love Rollercoaster, Fire, The Funky Worm, Skin Tight and I Want To Be Free.

The Ohio Players formed in 1959. They were known as The Ohio Untouchables. The Ohio Players made rust city Dayton, Ohio the place "Where funk was born!"

The Dayton Daily News reports that members of the singer's family reported the news and fans are sending their condolences to the funk legend.

“He was a great person with a lot of wisdom not just in music, but in life,” said Keith Harrison of the bands FAZE-O and the Dazz Band.

Bonner, 69, who helped make Dayton the Land of Funk, died Saturday following a battle with cancer in Trotwood, according to an “Official Family Announcement  posted Sunday on his Facebook page. Bonner, whose career spanned 56 years, died just shy of his 70th birthday, according to the post. “While his family, friends, colleagues, and fans mourn his passing they celebrate fondly his memory, music and legacy,” the posting stated.

The Ohio Players helped build the funk!
The Hamilton native was the lead singer and guitarist of the Ohio Players since he joined the band in 1971.

Harrison said he received word of Bonner’s passing from Marshall “Rock” Jones and another Ohio Players band member.

“He was an extraordinary person,” Harrison said of Bonner.

Dayton musician Ronald Frost, a friend of Bonner’s, said that Bonner will be remembered for his kindness and heart.

“He was one of the nicest people I have ever met,” Frost said.

Frost’s father, keyboardist Ronald Nooks , is also a member of the Ohio Players.

“He was a good friend of my dad’s,” Frost said.

Based in Dayton, the Ohio Players rocketed onto the international stage in the 1970s with string of funk hits, including “Fire,” “Skin Tight” and “Love Rollercoaster.”

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.

Ohio Rust City Torn By A Rape Involving High School Football Stars! [NSFW]

Disturbing photos of young girl being carried by two young men. The photo gives a picture to the possible rape of this person. The rust belt city of Steubenville, Ohio is once again the center of a national controversy.

Stuebenville, Ohio is the center of a national controversy this year. Two high school football stars are charged with the rape of a teenage girl.

A reminder to those reading, we advise that you take discretion in reading this. The article with commentary includes portions of The New York Times, Slate and the Associated Press. The individuals are innocent until proven guilty, and we here a Journal de la Reyna want justice served to those who committed this horrible act on this young girl.

This controversy attracted worldwide attention after Anonymous, the hacktivist group unearth the social media of those involved in this sexual assault.

Also what this attracts is conservative ire and White supremacists. The fact that one of the accused is Black and the young girl is white will certainly rile these extremists up! This would lit up their forums with ugly racial slurs, word salads about Black on White crime, and of course an Obama name drop! This will be a reason for these extremists to paint Blacks as sex crazed NIGGERS who voted for that MUSLIM SOCIALIST WHO DISGRACED THIS COUNTRY with his GUBMINT GIVEAWAYS!

Steubenville, Ohio is American made city that sits on the banks of the Ohio River.
The social media is a tool to help people connect. So far this year, Facebook surpassed over 1.3 billion in registered members. The social network is also a tool for the most controversial things. It's why most people work in education, the media, government, and private sector warns their employees not to engage in matters that may land them in the unemployment line.

Ma'lik Richmond one of the members involved. He participated in the so-called "Rape Crew" assault of a young girl.
Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter are the most popular social networks in the country. They've entertained, angered and inspired many. But unfortunately, they can make people do the most stupidest things.

The two involved in this rape, Trent Mays and Ma'lik Richmond are going to face the judge this month for their participation in the alleged sexual assault of the young girl. Many are seeking to put these guys in prison for life.

Trent Mays faces court date for rape and kidnapping.
The New York Times reports that some people in and around Steubenville had gotten word that the night of fun on August 11 a party that was held by outgoing high school students might have taken a grim turn, and that members of the Steubenville High football team might have been involved.

Twitter posts, videos and photographs circulated by some who attended the nightlong set of parties suggested that an unconscious girl had been sexually assaulted over several hours while others watched. She even might have been urinated on.

In one photograph posted on Instagram by a Steubenville High football player, the girl, who was from across the Ohio River in Weirton, West Virginia, is shown looking unresponsive as two boys carry her by her wrists and ankles. Twitter users wrote the words “rape” and “drunk girl” in their posts.

Rumors of a possible crime spread, and people, often with little reliable information, quickly took sides. Some residents and others on social media blamed the girl, saying she put the football team in a bad light and put herself in a position to be violated. Others supported the girl, saying she was a victim of what they believed was a hero-worshiping culture built around football players who think they can do no wrong.

On August 22, the possible crime made local news when the police came forward with details: two standout Steubenville football players — Mays, 16, from Bloomingdale, Ohio, and Ma’lik Richmond, 16, from Steubenville — were arrested and later charged with raping a 16-year-old girl and kidnapping her by taking her to several parties while she was too drunk to resist.

The case is not the first time a high school football team has been entangled in accusations of sexual assault. But the situation in Steubenville has another layer to it that separates it from many others: It is a sexual assault accusation in the age of social media, when teenagers are capturing much of their lives on their camera phones — even repugnant, possibly criminal behavior, as they did in Steubenville in August — and then posting it on the Web, like a graphic, public diary.

Within days of the possible sexual assault, an online personality who often blogs about crime zeroed in on those public comments and photographs and injected herself into the story, complicating it and igniting ire in the community. She posted the information on her site and wrote online that the police and town officials were giving the football players special treatment.

The city’s police chief begged for witnesses to come forward, but received little response. In time, the county prosecutor and the judge in charge of handling crimes by juveniles recused themselves from the case because they had ties to the football team.

“It’s a very, very small community here,” said Jefferson County Juvenile Judge Samuel W. Kerr, who recused himself. His granddaughter dated one of the football players initially linked to the incident. “Everybody knows everybody.”

After more than two months in jail, they are under house arrest on rape charges, awaiting a trial that has been set for Feb. 13. Mays, a star wrestler, also faces a charge of disseminating photographs of a nude minor. The kidnapping charges were dropped.

The parents of the boys, who declined requests for extended interviews, said that the boys were innocent. The boys’ lawyers assert that the boys have been tried unfairly online, and vow they will be exonerated when all the facts are known.

The case has entangled dozens of people in and out of this town.

Three Steubenville High School athletes became witnesses for the prosecution and testified against Mays and Richmond, their friends, at a probable cause hearing in October. The crime blogger and more than a dozen people who posted comments on her Web site have been sued by a Steubenville football player and his parents for defamation. The girl’s mother, in several brief interviews last month, said her family had received threats, so extra police have been patrolling her neighborhood.

The victim is not a Steubenville High student; she attended a smaller, religion-based school, where she was an honor student and an athlete.

At the parties, the girl had so much to drink that she was unable to recall much from that night, and nothing past midnight, the police said. The girl began drinking early on, according to an account that the police pieced together from witnesses, including two of the three Steubenville High athletes who testified in court in October. By 10 or 10:30 that night, it was clear that the dark-haired teenager was drunk because she was stumbling and slurring her words, witnesses testified.
Ma'lik Richmond and Trent Mays photos were obtained by hackers and passed along the White supremacists websites.
Some people at the party taunted her, chanted and cheered as a Steubenville High baseball player dared bystanders to urinate on her, one witness testified.

About two hours later, the girl left the party with several Big Red football players, including Mays and Richmond, witnesses said. They stayed only briefly at a second party before leaving for their third party of the night. Two witnesses testified that the girl needed help walking. One testified that she was carried out of the house by Mays and Richmond while she “was sleeping.”
Protest in Steubenville over the police and school district covering up the crime.
She woke up long enough to vomit in the street, a witness said, and she remained there alone for several minutes with her top off. Another witness said Mays and Richmond were holding her hair back.

Afterward, they headed to the home of one football player who has now become a witness for the prosecution. That player told the police that he was in the back seat of his Volkswagen Jetta with Mays and the girl when Mays proceeded to flash the girl’s breasts and penetrate her with his fingers, while the player videotaped it on his phone. The player, who shared the video with at least one person, testified that he videotaped Mays and the girl “because he was being stupid, not making the right choices.” He said he later deleted the recording.

The girl “was just sitting there, not really doing anything,” the player testified. “She was kind of talking, but I couldn’t make out the words that she was saying.”

At that third party, the girl could not walk on her own and vomited several times before toppling onto her side, several witnesses testified. Mays then tried to coerce the girl into giving him oral sex, but the girl was unresponsive, according to the player who videotaped Mays and the girl.

The player said he did not try to stop it because “at the time, no one really saw it as being forceful.”

At one point, the girl was on the ground, naked, unmoving and silent, according to two witnesses who testified. Mays, they said, had exposed himself while he was right next to her.

Richmond was behind her, with his hands between her legs, penetrating her with his fingers, a witness said.

“I tried to tell Trent to stop it,” another athlete, who was Mays’s best friend, testified. “You know, I told him, ‘Just wait — wait till she wakes up if you’re going to do any of this stuff. Don’t do anything you’re going to regret.’ ”

He said Mays answered: “It’s all right. Don’t worry.”

That boy took a photograph of what Mays and Richmond were doing to the girl. He explained in court how he wanted her to know what had happened to her, but he deleted it from his phone, he testified, after showing it to several people.

The girl slept on a couch in the basement of that home that night, with Mays alongside her before he took a spot on the floor.

When she awoke, she was unaware of what had happened to her, she has told her parents and the police. But by then, the story of her night was already unfolding on the Internet, on Twitter and via text messages. Compromising and explicit photographs of her were posted and shared.
The Guy Fawkes Mask represents Anonymous. They hack into controversial groups and exposes them to the world.
Within a day, a family member in town shared with the girl’s parents more disturbing visuals: a photograph posted on Instagram of their daughter who looked passed out at a party and a YouTube video of a former Steubenville baseball player talking about a rape. That former player, who graduated earlier this year, also posted on Twitter, “Song of the night is definitely Rape Me by Nirvana,” and “Some people deserve to be peed on,” which was reshared on Twitter by several people, including Mays.

The parents then notified the police and took their daughter to a hospital. At 1:38 a.m. on August 14, the girl’s parents walked into the Steubenville police station with a flash drive with photographs from online, Twitter posts and the video on it. It was all the evidence the girl’s parents had, leaving the police with the task of filling in the details of what had happened that night. The police said the case was challenging partly because too much time had passed since the suspected rape. By then, the girl had taken at least one shower and might have washed away evidence, said McCafferty, the police chief. He added that it also was too late for toxicology tests to determine if she had been drugged.

“My daughter learned about what had happened to her that night by reading the story about it in the local newspaper,” the girl’s mother said.

“How would you like to go through that as a mother, seeing your daughter, who is your entire world, treated like that?” the mother said. “It was devastating for all of us.”
Big Red takes a big nosedive!
Mays and Richmond were arrested August 22, about a week after the girl’s parents reported the suspected rape.

Anonymous got involved after a blogger reported that the Steubenville Police and school district were planning on dismissing the case based on lack of evidence. The internet group hacked into the social networks and unearth a disturbing video in which some of the students openly bragged about the crime.

The group thinks that school district and police are going to cover up the crime and they've rallied an online activism to have all members involved to be shamed for allowing two men to walk free while a victim suffers.

Steubenville is a rust belt city sits on near the banks of the Ohio River. This city is a part of the Wheeling, West Virginia metropolitan area. Ironton, Ohio, Stuebenville, Ohio, Weirton, West Virginia, Wheeling, West Virginia are consolidated with the Pittsburgh/Washington, Pennsylvania metroplex. High school football is a growing theme in the once booming town of steel mills and coal.

All the information comes from the New York Times, Slate, The Huffington Post and the Associated Press.

....And All The Kids' Man!

shawty-lo-all-my-babies-mamas
Shawty Lo brings his BIG family onto television.
Rappers are putting down the microphone and picking up the camera. The camera follows them into the abyss  As the gullible audience flocks to see the rapper perform their duties on and off the stage, these rappers introduce you to their families. Sport stars, rappers, rockers and singers started the tradition with MTV. When MTV introduced the world to their cribs, many Americans realized that it's cool to be an entertainer.

Nowadays, it's not so cool when you're broke and you're willing to exploit your family for financial gains!

Atlanta based rapper Shawty Lo comes into the limelight. The rapper who once snapped his fingers with rap group D4L and now swinging his new G-Unit spinner as an affiliate to 50 Cent's crew. The rapper joined the reality television circuit with the 10 mothers of his 11 children.

Shawty Lo appears under Asylum Records, Inc. The company is licensed under Warner Music Group.
Dey know I'm on television! Why dey hatin'?- Shawty Lo.
Backlash ensues. The network that is planning on filming the reality series is under fire as well!

Oxygen is catching some major flack for allowing the rapper to downgrade his family in such a matter.

Civil Rights groups are demanding they scrap the idea of having this.

Conservatives and White supremacists are thrilled about this!

These extremists can finally prove that all Black men are sex crazed NIGGERS who are willing to put their NIGLETS into the spotlight for their GUBMINT handouts and OBAMA bucks!

This will agitate them into attacking Black people, hip-hop music and of course President Barack Obama.

Newsone reports that the show is going to bring controversy and ratings! The rapper's pilot is going to be a one-hour special called “All My Babies’ Mamas,” which features the day-to-day drama-filled shenanigans of Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo, his 10 baby mamas and their army of 11 children, reports TV By the Numbers.

Each baby mama has an eye-catching title such as the ‘First Lady E’Creia,’ who handles Lo’s finances and who was actually engaged to him at one point after he already had three children. Then there’s Angela, the “Fighter Baby Mama,” Amanda, the “Jealous Baby Mama,” Sujuan, the “Wanna-be Bougie Baby Mama” and Tamara, the “No-Drama Baby Mama.”

The rapper is currently dating his new girlfriend, Ashlin, who is also featured on the show and who claims to be madly in love with him. The woman is similar to the age of his oldest daughter.

Carlos Walker (born March 31, 1976), better known by his stage name Shawty Lo, is an American rapper, founder of D4L Records, and member of hip hop group D4L.

Other rappers who are professional entertainers moved into acting and reality television. Most recently, Clifford Harris, who performs as T.I. has a hit show on VH-1. The show T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle comes after the rapper's wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle-Harris is a successor to Tiny & Toya. Cottle did a reality show with Antonia "Toya" Carter the former wife of Lil' Wayne.

Mia Love: Tokens Please!

GOP candidate Mia Love was defeated in a hotly contested race in Utah. Congressman Allen West (R-Florida) was defeated in his reelection bid. They represent the rare exception of Black Republicans who garnered attention. Congressman Tim Scott (R-South Carolina) is the sole Black member in the Republican ranks.
Well I would say that Congressman Tim Scott (R-South Carolina) will be the sole Black member of a national party that consist of 94% White and 6% everyone else!

Congressman Allen West (R-Florida) was defeated in a razor thin election against a newcomer Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy, a businessman.

The U.S. Senate has achieved a milestone with a high record of women in its ranks but unfortunately no Black members.

The state of Hawaii introduced its first Democratic Asian American/Pacific Islander woman, senator-elect Mazie Hirono. Congresswoman Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) beats back former governor Republican Linda Lingle in the 2012 U.S. Senate race.

Mia Love, the mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah was handed a defeat as well! The fight in Utah was supposed to be a game changer for the Republicans. This was a close call for the first Black woman in that state's history to run for Congress. She could have beaten Congressman Jim Matheson (D-Utah) in this one.

President Barack Obama, Senator Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Senator Claire McCaskill (D-Missouri), Senator Bill Nelson (D-Florida), Senator Dean Heller (R-Nevada), and Senator Jon Tester (D-Montana) survived tough reelection bids.

Elizabeth Warren, Chris Murphy, Tim Kaine, Tammy Baldwin, Heidi Heinkamp, Joe Donnelly, Deb Fischer, Jeff Flake, Ted Cruz, and Angus King, will take the helm of being the newly sworn senators.

So now as Mitt Romney faces the reality of defeat, his former running mate Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) will at least keep his political feet in Washington. Ryan won his congressional seat.

Mitt Romney stated he won't run for president anymore!

Republicans have lost out! Hispanics and Blacks turned out strongly this time.

Republicans really need to get its focus on the American voting electorate. They've focused on discouraging the young voters, Black and Hispanic voters from going to the ballot box with intrusive laws like voter identification legislation.

The Republican Party better get with the program. Conservatism has to move into the future or suffer more losses in the 2014 U.S. Midterm elections.

Famed Hip-Hop Manager Chris Lighty Found Dead!

The hip-hop community is mourning the death of legendary entertainment manager Chris Lighty.

The guy who managed the careers of Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott, and LL Cool J has died. Chris Lighty was apparently found dead by a gunshot wound to his head according to his family members.

Lighty and his partner Mona Scott founded Violator Management.

Like rival Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond, Lighty has ties to criminals.

Lighty has been wanted by the feds for sometime on issues involving his taxes.

The Associated Press reports, Chris Lighty, 44, was discovered at his home in the Bronx with a gunshot wound to the head, and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No note was recovered, but a 9 mm handgun was found at the scene and there was no sign of forced entry, said Paul Browne, chief spokesman for the New York Police Department.

The medical examiner's office will determine a cause of death, but authorities say the shooting appears to be self-inflicted.

Lighty was behind some of rap's leading figures, helping them not only attain hit records but also lucrative careers outside of music. He had been a part of the scene for decades, working with pioneers like LL Cool J before starting his own management company, Violator. But Lighty had been having recent financial and personal troubles.

Twitter was abuzz with condolences on his death just hours after the body was found at about 11:30 a.m.

"R.I.P. Chris Lighty," Fat Joe posted on his account. "The man that saved my life!"

Diddy wrote: "In shock."

Rihanna posted: "Rest peacefully Chris Lighty, my prayers go out to family and loved ones! Dear God please have mercy."

And Mary J. Blige wrote: "U never know what can send a person over the edge or make them want 2 keep living. take it easy on people."

50 Cent said in a statement issued through his publicist that he was deeply saddened by the loss:

"Chris has been an important part of my business and personal growth for a decade. He was a good friend and advisor who helped me develop as an artist and businessman. My prayers are with his family. He will be greatly missed."
50 Cent (left) and LL Cool J (center) were managed by Chris Lighty's Violator Management Group. Ludacris (right) stand with 50 Cent and LL Cool J. LL Cool J went on to recording 14 albums and continues a role in acting. He still continues his ties with Def Jam. Ludacris is the founder of Disturbing Tha Peace and is signed under Def Jam. 50 Cent is currently on Interscope Records signed through Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment and Eminem's Shady Records.
Lighty was raised by his mother in the Bronx, one of six children. He ran with a group called The Violators, the inspiration for the name of his management company, according to the company website. He was a player in the hip-hop game since he was a kid DJ. He rose through the ranks at Rush Management (Simmons' first company) before eventually founding Violator Management in the late 1990s. (Mona Scott and James Cruz are partners).

"Today, we lost a hip-hop hero and one of its greatest architects," Simmons tweeted.

Lighty's roster ranged from Academy Award-winners Three 6 Mafia to maverick Missy Elliott to up-and-comer Papoose and perpetual star Carey. He made it his mission not so much to make musical superstars, but rather multifaceted entertainers who could be marketed in an array of ways: a sneaker deal here, a soft drink partnership there, a movie role down the road.

In a 2007 interview with The Associated Press, Lighty talked about creating opportunities for his stars _ a Chapstick deal for LL Cool J, known for licking his lips, a vitamin supplement deal for 50 Cent.

Busta Rhymes and Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott were managed by Chris Lighty. Busta Rhymes signed to Universal-Republic Records under Cash Money Records. Missy Elliott is signed to Atlantic Records.
"As music sales go down because kids are stealing it off the Internet and trading it and iPod sales continue to rise, you can't rely on just the income that you would make off of being an artist," he said at the time.

Lighty is survived by his two children. He and his wife, Veronica, had been in the process of divorcing. The case was still listed as active, but electronic records show an agreement to end it was filed in June.

He was also having financial trouble. City National Bank sued Lighty, whose given name is Darrell, in April, saying he had overdrawn his account by $53,584 and then refused to pay the balance. The case was still pending.

He also owed more than $330,000 in state and federal taxes, according to legal filings. His tax problems were much steeper a year ago, but he cleared away millions of dollars in earlier IRS liens last October, after selling his Manhattan apartment for $5.6 million.

Lighty once managed Ja Rule of Murder, Inc. fame. He cut ties with the rapper after threats by Irving "Irv Gotti" Lorenzo. When 50 Cent engaged in a longstanding feud with Ja Rule, Chris Lighty jumped on the single with rappers Eminem and Busta Rhymes for a retribution diss on Tupac Shakur's "Hail Mary" beat.

Violator had released two albums under its belt. One included the hit single "Vibrant Thing" by veteran rapper Q-Tip.

Florida Teen Busted For Woman Butt Grab!

The Raw Story and The Smoking Gun covered this one.

Okay, we'll first say that this belongs to the People of Walmart website. This story begs for conservative agitation. This story brings out the mentally inept White Supremacists who fear that the "Niggers" are coming for their women!

This should attract the Fox Nation, The Drudge Report and other conservative agitators who feel the need to blame President Barack Obama or the Black community.

Walmart, the world's largest retail superstore, has some of the most interesting things. From scantly clad men wearing daisy dukes and high heels, to people using other people's credit cards, the most obvious thing you'll find in a Walmart, is the sick pervert looking for a suburban honey dip so he get a feel on!

Meet 18 year old Aaron Morris. The teenager was busted while getting a feel of a woman's buttock.

He was standing near the fitting rooms and he saw the woman. I guess he got a rise in the pants and decided to get a "smack of da booty!"

At the North Lauderdale Walmart, the young man “approached the victim and willfully and intentionally grabbed the victim’s right buttocks against her will.”

The victim later identified Morris at local RaceTrac gas station, where he explained his actions.

“Her booty looked so good,” he said. “I just couldn’t resist touching it.”

Morris is being held at the Broward County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bond.

I am guessing that Morris had seen the website. Here's a video from a user on YouTube describing the People of Walmart.

This is a not safe for work video.
