His white privilege went too far. |
The far right network responsible for a controversial chyron depicting President Joe Biden as a "wannabe dictator" who locked up political rival was fired out the cannon.
Fox received backlash and a possible freeze from The White House after the network ran a chyron that had Biden and Washed Up 45 doing their speeches on separate screens.
As the network was heading into Sean "Softball" Hannity's carnival of bullshit, the chyron stayed up for nearly 1 minute.
Now Fox has identified the producer and they immediately took action.
Former Tucker Carlson Tonight managing editor Alexander McCaskill, who features prominently in a toxic work environment lawsuit by a former colleague, is no longer with the network—a topic that Carlson himself discussed in the latest episode of his Tucker on Twitter video series. (McCaskill confirmed his exit in a private Instagram post reviewed by The Daily Beast, in which he said it was “the best place I’ve ever worked” and claimed he asked Fox “to let me go.”)
So the now fired Carlson is on Twitter doing podcasts. Fox viewers angered by his cannon firing are now watching Newsmax and vowing to no longer watch Fox. They said that Softball Hannity is boring. Even his obsession with Hillary Clinton is boring and viewers are not interested.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded to the network in simple phrasing. They could think of 787 million ways.
“There are probably about 787 million things that I can say about this,” she said. “That was wrong what we saw last night, but I don’t think I’m going to get into it.”
Asked if her response should be interpreted as no comment, Jean-Pierre responded, “I think I just commented.”
