Cornel West Runs A Nina Turner 2.0 Campaign!

Will Shaun King be Cornel West's campaign advisor?

Former college professor now jumps into the presidential race. Some believe he is a spoiler and an op by Republicans to take Black votes away from President Joe Biden. This fool appears on Fox, Breitbart and numerous other right wing outlets as the "left." 

In reality, he's a leftist with an agenda to help Republicans so he can push the Democrats to the left.

Just like with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Cornel West is a controversial figure who turns activism into chaos. Far left extremists who align with far right folks like Tomi Lahren, Sean "Softball" Hannity and Steve Bannon.

West has held professorships and fellowships at Harvard University, Yale University, Union Theological Seminary, Princeton University, Dartmouth College, Pepperdine University, and the University of Paris. He was forced out because of his antics.

Now unemployed, West decided run for president on a third party ticket. 

“I have decided to run for truth and justice, which takes the form of running for President of the United States as a candidate for the People’s Party,” West said in a video announcement on Twitter launching the third-party presidential bid.

As those very same leftists complain about Biden and Washed Up 45's age are cheering on West, a 70 year old leftist who has a following and a history of burnt bridges. The very same folks who have no concern about former 2020 candidate Bernie Sanders' age. The independent Vermont senator has endorsed Biden and he has no consideration of running in 2024.

"I enter in the quest for truth, I enter in the quest for justice, and the presidency is just one vehicle to pursue that truth and justice — what I’ve been trying to do all of my life.”

West backed Sanders in 2016 and 2020. He backed Barack Obama in 2008 but ended up turning on him in 2012. Since then, West has been critical of Democrats and said it's okay if leftists sat it out or backed Washed Up 45.

West is similar to a notorious perennial candidate, former Ohio state senator and Bernie Sanders campaign official Nina Turner. 

Turner tried to run for a seat being vacated by Marcia Fudge who went on to join the Biden Administration. Turner, a bombastic figure took a lead and dwindled it down to an eventual defeat. Turner took all her energy to focus on a little known figure. She ended up making this little known special election a national race. Shontel Brown who focused on real issues instead of hot button topics won and is currently serving as a U.S. Representative for Ohio. Her win should have silenced Turner. 

Nope. Turner and West complain that race and big money played a role in the loss. Brown is Black and had little money at the time.

West decided to take aim at Biden.

In the campaign video, West included a clip in which he referred to President Biden as a “milquetoast neoliberal” and referred to Washed Up 45 as a “neofascist.” He explained his decision to run as a third-party candidate, saying, “neither political party wants to tell the truth about Wall Street, about Ukraine, about the Pentagon, about big tech.”

“Do we have what it takes? We shall see. But some of us are going to go down fighting, go down swinging, with style and a smile,” he said.
