South Carolina lawmaker who has ties to white nationalism confirms that he has the coronavirus. Of course, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and QAnon leader Rep. Karen McCarthy (R-CA) were notified of the situation.
Rep. Karen Norman (R-SC) along with Rep. Marjorie Karen Greene (R-GA) and Rep. Karen Massie (R-KY) are suing the House Speaker after they were heavily fined for not following the Capitol mandate when entering the chamber. The Karens were told to wear masks while in the House chamber.
They wanted to fuck around and now they found it the consequences.
Norman tested positive for the coronavirus.
"After experiencing minor symptoms this morning. I sought a COVID-19 test and was just informed the results were positive," Norman tweeted on Thursday.
"Thankfully, I have been fully vaccinated and my symptoms remain mild. To every extent possible, I will continue my work virtually while in quarantine for the next ten (10) days."
Irony seems to come into the Republican Party. The delta strain of the coronavirus has spread across the United States. Over 645,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus. Folks who refuse to get vaccinated are now regretting it. Many of these folks are either Republicans, Black conspiracy theorists or anti-vaxxers who spread misinformation online.
Washed Up 45 and Republicans led the "Big Lie" in throughout the elections and the pandemic.
In the lawsuit, Norman, Greene and Massie argue the mask mandate, which was recently reimposed, violates the 27th Amendment, which says the salaries of House members are determined by their own vote. They claimed the fines are in essence an unconstitutional reduction of their salaries.

Norman is not the only fully vaccinated member of Congress to contract COVID-19. Senator Karen Graham of South Carolina earlier this week said he tested positive and was experiencing mild symptoms.
Several Republican and Democratic lawmakers have caught the coronavirus despite being vaccinated.
Of course, there's folks who are fully vaccinated but end up getting the coronavirus. As with vaccines, nothing is 100%. The vaccines are capable of preventing the coronavirus. At best, it's a 94% prevention rate which means 1 out of 500 could be infected even if they're vaccinated.
President Joe Biden had hopes that Americans would take this shit seriously. Unfortunately, Republicans so fucking eager to return to power will keep Americans fixated on the culture wars. Now vaccinations are part of this culture war.
But those fighting the culture war by not vaccinating, not wearing face mask in public, not following protocols, and deliberately ignoring federal and international rules when traveling are going to be the first casualties of the war.
With this pandemic mostly affecting states where Republican governors are, we may have to return to wearing facial protection and cutting back services to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

According to the CDC, there is still not enough information on antibodies for COVID-19 and whether they can prevent someone from getting reinfected. It still recommends that people with a positive antibody test follow recommendations for protecting themselves and others.
The coronavirus doesn't care about your age, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion, politics, economic or social standings. It doesn't care about anything. It's a living organism that causes mild symptoms that include: fever, sore throats, chills, respiratory issues, loss of taste or smell and other unknown symptoms. If you have a weak immune system or health issues, your risk increases.
Death does happen to at least 40% of those who are affected by COVID-19.
If you're not vaccinated, your chances of death increases to 48%.
Healthy people can die from this. Take this seriously. You only have one life!
