U.S. Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd comes forward to tell the world, that he would have no regrets to protect the lives of those he served. He was the person who fired his service weapon on the white woman who tried to break the bubble.

On January 6, 2021, the woman inspired by the mountains of bullshit on Fox, Newsmax, the internet and Washed Up 45 went to Washington, DC to stop the certification of Joe Biden. She broke into the U.S. Capitol along with thousands of others. The woman decided to gamble with the bubble.

Byrd gave her commands to stop. She refused. So he acted to protect the lives of the lawmakers.

The woman was shot in the neck and fell back. She tried to get back up and saying she was fine. But it turns out that it was a mortal injury and she ended up bleeding from her neck and mouth.

I was watching Katy Tur and Chuck Todd discuss the incident on live coverage on MSNBC. Tur had said that they had witness a woman bleeding being carried out towards an ambulance. 

She died of her injuries at a local hospital.

She was unarmed. However, she was violent. She and the thousands of supporters of Washed Up 45 were prepared to die for the former president.

She literally said on social media that she wants to take fight to those "traitors." She was unaware of the U.S. Capitol Police and Secret Service are dedicated to denaturalize a threat.

So Byrd finally tells his side of the story. He was cleared of the incident. The U.S. Capitol Police and the Department of Justice cleared Byrd of the shooting.

He has been in hiding since. He's gotten death threats. The former president even called for him to be arrested for shooting. He has been called racial slurs. The far-right had doxxed him and looked into his record as a police officer.

He admits that he wished the woman would have complied but he felt like there was no choice and he had but to stop the threat. He said he would do it for anyone he's sworn to protect. 

NBC News had exclusive access to the U.S. Capitol Police officer. NBC Nightly News host Lester Holt had a sit down with Byrd.

"I saved countless lives," Byrd said. 

About 60 to 80 members and staffers were holed up inside, and it was Byrd's job to protect them.

They managed to set up a wall of furniture outside the doors. They held the line.

Crazy Karen learned the price of not complying.

"Once we barricaded the doors, we were essentially trapped where we were," he said. "There was no way to retreat. No other way out. If they get through the door, they're into the House chamber and upon the members of Congress."

Byrd and many of those who served on that day were traumatized. They were injured and have post traumatic stress disorder from that. Five officers had committed suicide. The Capitol Police, Washington, DC Metropolitan Police and other entities are threatening to sue the former president and a handful of his allies.

The Republicans and Washed Up 45 want to rewrite history. We won't allow it. Trust me!

Those who instigated and carried out the insurrection will be caught. Over 700 participants were arrested and some pled guilty to their crimes. It's just a matter of time, patience and a long term memory.

Byrd saved lives. Why can't the so-called Blue Lives Matter supporters honor that?
