| Sexual predator tricked a lesbian into a friendship and then raped her. |
The predator struck up a friendship with the victim in August 2015. He told the woman he was gay so that she was under the impression that their relationship is platonic.
The Fulton County District Attorney, Paul L. Howard, Jr. announced the news Wednesday, while also providing shocking new details on the case.
In a statement, the DA stated that the predator met his victim at the transit station. The pair regularly rode the train together, and the predator lured the woman -- who is a lesbian in a long-term relationship -- into a false friendship.
He told her that he was gay and she was under the impression that their relationship was strictly platonic and they eventually exchanged phone numbers.
In September 2015, the victim missed her connecting bus and the predator offered to give her a ride home, according to prosecutors. While en route, he told the woman that he needed to stop by his house and picked up some marijuana.

She told the investigators that she heard another man's voice in the house and "was terrified that if she screamed, [the predator] would in fact do as he said."
The victim managed to subsequently flee the home and three miles back to her own residence.
She went to the Atlanta Medical Center for treatment, where police were called.
The victim said that she described the interior to the home and the victim's DNA was found inside her underwear in a laundry hamper.
The predator claims the sexual encounter was consensual, but he was soon arrested. This month this predator was convicted of his criminal act. He is facing a possible LIFE in the iron college and an enrollment into Offender U as a TIER III.
