I love how we start attracting conservative minded readers. Our mission is to be informed to what's going on in our community, our government and the junk food media. We often are talking about issues involving people of color.
Issues that matter to our blog.
- Women of color.
- Children of color.
- Black men being killed by law enforcement.
- The racial-motivated campaigns against Barack and Michelle Obama.
- The rise of white extremism in the United States.
- Donald Trump and his idiotic presidency.
- Issues that face our community (i.e. food deserts, gerrymandering poverty, gun violence, gentrification, etc.)
- The actions of inept leadership in Congress.
- The actions of those in the entertainment industry.
- You can't fix stupid stories.
- You can't change a person's mind stories.
- How to ignore trolls.
At first, I addressed this as another senseless mass shooting in the United States.
Then I realized that it was another fatal encounter with law enforcement. I then I made the remarks that I fully stand by and never apologize for.
"The National Rifle Association and the Republican Party are killing us."
It invited this troll who has a blog of his own.
I won't address him by name or give a plug to the blog.
But like most trolls I refuse to respond to them. I just delete their comments and post the most interesting in these posts.
So grab a magnifying glass and read what this troll has to say about the controversy surround Alabama police killing a legally armed man of color for no fucking reason.
Why do you blame republicans for this? Birmingham is a democrat strangle hold community. Most police belong to unions which overwhelmingly support democrats.
I found your blog post looking for information on this senseless killing. So far this year police have killed more than 850 people. according to what data I can find, 49 of them were black men and teens. While I agree with you that this is a problem, I see it as a greater problem of cops killing Americans, not just blacks. Since 9-11 the police have been given free reign. All a cop needs to do is claim he felt threatened and he walks.
There was one case a couple years back where a cop made a traffic stop. There was a passenger in the back seat playing games on his phone. He probably did not realize the cop was yelling at him to show his hand. The cop shot him dead. No weapon, no moves, NOTHING, just BOOM!
Things need to change in America. Police who kill unarmed people need to be held accountable, not just the department, the police unions and the individual officers.
I sincerely hope Mr. Bradford's family get a large settlement, but I hope that instead of the taxpayers of the city being punished, that the funds be taken first from the officer who shot him, then from the retirement account of the police Union.
The other thing that needs to change is how "grand juries" acquit the officers in these things. Those grand juries are called by the district attorney who works with the officers 99.999% of the time. he and every DA has a vested interest in keeping trigger happy cops out of jail.
Until we hold trigger happy cops accountable at all levels we are all in danger.

i cant find where she says this. that would be a big deal if she actually did. Please highlight it. i do see where she extols conservative (racist) policies. how confused do you have to be to not know that the conservative (Republican) policies are racist?
Hell yeah, I blame Donald J. Trump, Republicans and conservatives for the mess we're in. Police unions support Republicans. You don't have statistics that prove that. The U.S. Congress won't advocate actual stats to gun violence.
I enjoy hearing the word vomit of the Democrats running the cities. Yeah, the major cities are the core of the region. If you believe that Democrats are responsible for crime in America, you're wrong.
Gerrymandering keep Democrats landlock in the cities while Republicans enjoy the suburbs, exburbs and rural areas.
Newsflash: There are Democrats in the suburbs, exburbs and rural areas too. Republicans do run the cities. You guys brag about how Rudy Giuliani ran New York City. You guys love how Republicans run government. Austerity isn't good. It's pretty much an offset.
The Jobs and Tax Cut Act hasn't affect the Midwest. Yet, states like Ohio continue to pick Republicans due to gerrymandering.
Republicans are often unpopular with young voters, Black women, Hispanic (non-white), college educated and often non-religious individuals.
Crime isn't politics. It's an unlawful act committed by an individual.
Yes, things got to change in America. We can't be sitting here on our computers, laptops, tablets or phones complaining and doing this ridiculous back and forth over who's right and who's a fucking moron.
BAD COPS GET GOOD COPS KILLED. THOSE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT KNOW THAT ONE PULL OVER, TRAFFIC CONTROL, ANIMAL DISTURBANCE, DOMESTIC CALL OR ACTIVE SHOOTER EVENT COULD RESULT IN DEATH.
GOOD COPS RISK THEIR LIVES FOR THE SAFETY OF OTHERS.
BAD COPS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE BADGE. THEY USE THE BADGE TO ABUSE CIVILIANS WITHOUT DUE PROCESS.
THE SUPREME COURT HAS JUSTIFIED COPS TO "STRETCH THE TRUTH" WHEN MAKING ARREST OR USE OF DEADLY FORCE.
THERE IS NO PERFECT COP. NO COP CAN ESCAPE A POSSIBILITY OF BEING EXPOSED TO GUN FIRE, PHYSICAL CONTACT, BIO HAZARDS (I.E. BLOOD) OR THE ELEMENTS (SNOW, WATER RESCUE, OR REMOVAL).
GUN VIOLENCE IS THE NUMBER THREAT TO THE UNITED STATES.
ABOUT 95 PEOPLE ARE KILLED A DAY BY FIREARMS.
MOST OF THE MASS SHOOTINGS IN THE UNITED STATES FAIL TO MAKE THE NEWS.
A grand jury decides on the fate of a cop. A district attorney is required to give the benefit of the doubt to an accused. That's why it's always "innocent until proven guilty in a court of law."
Even if there's 100% proof of guilt, we still have a trial. An indicted individual has the right to dispute his charges with an attorney (private or public defender). The jury can decide on the fate of the indicted. Once convicted, the individual has time to appeal a sentence. The sentence can be revoked.
If it results in a mistrial, the indicted would be retried with another jury. The odds of convict still stand between the evidence and the assumption of guilt or innocence.
E.J. Bradford's family doesn't want money. They want justice. They want the cop fired and prosecuted for their son's death.
Money doesn't bring people back. And taking away a pension from someone doesn't mean they'll get a paycheck. Your taxpayer dollars fund the police, fire department, your mayor, your governor, your state and federal lawmakers and the imbecile in the White House.
The release of the climate change on Friday kind of explains how Republicans are devoted to keeping us sick and ignorant.
A new government report delivers a dire warning to the effects of climate change.
Trump continues to deny that climate change is real.
Our economy is on the brink of collapse.
The weather is getting worse and more costly. We need to change direction. Hopefully, we can get a government that we all can agree too.
