Vanessa Trump is splitting from Donald, Jr.

The former model and socialite is 40 years old and wants to focus on being a mother to her children. She doesn't want the politics at home.

Donald Trump, Jr., the son of the world's most despised leader is filing for divorce.

The oldest son of Donald J. Trump is the father of five and was married to Vanessa for 12 years. I guess that Vanessa doesn't like being in the limelight.

After all, she survived a scare this year. Some terrorist mailed white powder to the Trump's estate. It was corn starch and the terrorist was caught and faces a court date.

The suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The divorce proceedings were filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.

"After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways. We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”

Trump, Jr. had ended his Secret Service detail last year. It was reactivated for him, Vanessa, his brother Eric Trump and his wife Lara.

The couple's split will affect their five children.

It's been said that Vanessa called ex-hubby, "the one with the retarded dad."

Allegedly, this remark occurred when Trump introduced his son to Vanessa for the first time.

Trump would come back five minutes later and reintroduce himself and his son to her again.
