International Women's Day!
To honor the achievements of women.
To remind you that women of color contributed as well.
To remind you that 3 out of 4 women are sexually harassed by a male employer.
To remind you that women are mothers, daughters, grandmothers, athletes, entertainers, politicians, scientists, discoverers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and warriors.
To remind you that women are exploited in sex trafficking by individuals who use them in criminal activity.
To remind you that women are likely victims of gun violence from domestic violence.
To remind you that we must demand equal pay for women.
To remind you that transwomen are women too.
To remind you that in a male dominated world, women have a voice against sexual abuse, racism, gun violence and will hopefully change the demographics of Congress.
To remind you, that Hillary Clinton's loss isn't a setback. It's the beginning of a movement that will now hold men accountable.
Donald J. Trump is an example of why women need to speak out against the sexism in the United States.
Harvey Weinstein is an example of how Hollywood allowed the status quo go on far too long. They are changing it and it will eventually male to Washington, DC.
Women are the barrier of life. We should cherish their accomplishments.
In honor of the late Naomi Parker Fraley, the woman who inspired Rosey the Riveted.
Thank you.
