Trump called Democrats a bunch of traitors. |
In Cincinnati, Trump delivered his remarks at a local company and was bragging bigly about how his agenda is working. He was unaware that the Dow Jones stock market went into chaos after it dropped over 1,700 points.
The remarks caught the wind of Democrats. They responded in kind.
Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA)
Dear @realDonaldTrump: I served on active duty in the US military to give people the right to clap when the President speaks, or not to clap; to stand, or to sit; to attend your speeches or to boycott them. We are not & never will be an authoritarian regime. https://t.co/fC27Pn6R4A— Ted Lieu (@tedlieu) February 5, 2018
Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL)
We don't live in a dictatorship or a monarchy. I swore an oath—in the military and in the Senate—to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, not to mindlessly cater to the whims of Cadet Bone Spurs and clap when he demands I clap https://t.co/99gW1yalDl— Tammy Duckworth (@SenDuckworth) February 6, 2018
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)
The character of our country – and the state of our union – isn’t determined by our President. It’s determined by our people. Now more than ever, we’re in this fight all the way. #SOTU— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) January 31, 2018
Rep. Tim Walz (D-MN)
I didn’t serve 24 years in the uniform of this country to be called treasonous for simply disagreeing with your disastrous policies, Mr. President.— Rep. Tim Walz (@RepTimWalz) February 5, 2018
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA)
Dear, @realDonaldTrump, I didn’t clap either for your #GOPTaxScam economics. Count me as a proud traitor and honored to serve with my brave @HouseDemocrats colleagues. pic.twitter.com/zZk2X54hr8— Rep. Eric Swalwell (@RepSwalwell) February 5, 2018
Remember that Trump wanted Americans to come together. His speech in Cincinnati didn't help much.
Slight of hand. |

The inept leader and Melania both went to the Cincinnati area. The junk food media in the area was only allowed one local journalist to accompany the inept leader.
While he was in Cincinnati, he touted his tax law. He went off script to attack the Democrats by calling them un-American and treasonous for not standing up for him.
Yeah, we're in some crazy times.
Sean "Softball" Hannity has singled out Barack Obama for the stock market taking a nosedive on Monday. The most annoying conservative agitator in the history of junk food media is more nuttier than usual this week.
